Barefoot Resort & Yacht Club - نورث ميرتل بيتش

We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo in The Havens and were really pleased. The unit was clean, spacious, comfortable and was a great value. I would recommend (and have already done so) to anyone. I am really picky when it comes to cleanliness and normally do not take time to review. However, this unit was great and I was comfortable sleeping, bathing and enjoying my stay. I was skeptical since the price I got was really low, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have no real complaints. One warning is that some units do not have elevators and there is no way to know which unit you will be in until you arrive. That could be a potential problem for someone who can't take steps. Also, the office I had to go to was offsite and the directions were not clear on how to get there. That's probably my only complaint. The beach is only a couple of blocks away.

We enjoyed our stay and will be looking forward to staying with barefoot again

My new wife and I stayed here for two nights last year, and we were so impressed we decided to return for our honeymoon. We booked the same type of room, a two-bedroom villa, in a complex just down the street from our previous villa. The location is quiet, scenic, far enough off the beaten path but close enough to everything. The villa overall was clean, but had a kinda musty odor when entering; eventually, we just kinda got used to it. The balcony overlooking the small lake was screened in, and there was no furniture out there to enjoy it. The biggest gripe I had was with the main bedroom -we booked a King bed, and instead got two twins pushed together. The bed(s) were low to the floor, the mattresses were overly firm, and the beds had individual sheets, topped with a King comforter. This is NOT what we paid for! The people at the rental office explained they were "swing Kings", that are prevalent throughout many units, for the benefit of additional guests who didn't wish to sleep in the same bed, and that we could've requested a standard King bed; that's what I thought I had booked- the unit last year had a standard King bed. In any event, it wasn't a comfortable place for rest (or anything else). Overall, though, we will probably return here again for a future stay, but will be much more clear with the rental office about getting what we book.

While we were quite pleased with the place, the dryer was broken and we were really disappointed since we booked the place in order to have a washer and dryer. While it did get fixed, it was too late to be of use to us. No offer of compensation was made which is very disappointing.

Very inconvenient that we should have done all cleaning ourselves. No fresh towels, no cleaning from the hotel service. I am going on vacation not to clean, but relax.and enjoy time off. So, please take this into consideration.thanks.

The resort was nice and quiet. the only bad thing is the beds were hard as a rock.

The room was very clean with a very warm feeling & we also had a nice view from our balcony. The rooms & bathrooms were of good size, clean, & well taken care of. The living & kitchen area were also in the same state. My kids & I were very comfortable with our stay & on our next trip we plan to stay there then.

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful and comfortableand quiet! We had to leave reservations at another place due to water leak and booked this resort afterwards.It was a blessing in disguise-- I can tell you this will be our first choice next trip!

One of the hardest problems was actually finding the office to check in. The office was not in the complex and it is a big complex. Would have been really nice to have clear instructions on how to find the office. Overall the room was pretty nice, but the cleaning staff missed some stuff under the bed for one of the past guests. Don't get me wrong, the room was nice and big and was really pretty clean. Room had great internet - this would have been nice to point out on the website. Maybe that some rooms don't have internet - if they don't this should be required by the management company. I would recommend Barefoot Resort & Yacht Club. Just remember it is not on the beach - this was not a big deal to us since it was off season and easy to find parking at the beach. Overall a very fun and comfortable stay.

The room was nice and clean, but it was a little outdated. Location was great, nice scenery, friendly atmossphere. Would recommend this resort to friends and family.

Out-dated unit had seen years of use. Still, for the price, it was a decent place in a nice area.

The room was very comfortable and the amenities very pleasing. Just had a few minor distractions. One of the beds was worn out and we would roll to the middle. So we slept on the other. The early morning golfers were too noisy in their excitement for their first tee. The pool was 3 properties over and not at the location we stayed. The TV's were dated and the channel selection limited. However, the comfort of the living area and the convenience of the large kitchen was second to none. I understand I got the room at an incredible bargain with Hotels.com compared to what everyone else pays, so I am very happy with my stay.

The Hotel was very nice, great location. However, no refrigerator in room. TV was very old. How could you not have a refrigerator in the room? Every hotel has refrigerators. Comforter on bed was very old with spots on it. The size of the room was great. I don't know if I would go there again because it really needs to be updated. Pool is nice and location is great, but definitely needs upgrading.

Me and some friends stayed at Barefoot Landings at Rivercrossing. The place was nice and clean but the bed was hard as rocks the pillows was flat. the master suite had two twin beds pushed together to make a King. there was a 12inch TV in the master no TV in the second bedroom and a 27inch in the living area. We all couldn't get any good sleep.

dirty carpets and old furniture not what i expected did not like that the check in is not in the resort

I preface this complaint by saying that I'm not a picky person. I frequently stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Suites, etc. As long as the room is comfortable and clean, I'm happy. So you can imagine what takes for me to complain. Mind you, many of the units in the Barefoot Resort & Yacht Club are privately owned, so there may be various levels of quality throughout the resort. The room I rented at the Barefoot Resort was one of the lower end rentals. The room was very worn/tired, especially the bedding. The bedding was threadbare and the pillows/beds were hard as bricks. There were numerous old stains on the carpet. I didn't dare take off my flip flops while walking around the room. One of the main outlets near the nightstand didn't work, so you had to decide to plug in either the lamp or the clock--but you couldn't plug in both. A secondary (minor) issue was the television. There was an old, outdated, clunky CRT television and VCR in the armoir. This should tell you how up to date the unit was. The one positive thing I can say about the unit is that, excluding the carpet, the unit was tidy. Especially the bathroom. The bathroom was the best part of the stay. This was more of a "motel" apartment rental, rather than a resort rental. Most (if not all) of the motel staff was located in an off site building called (Beach Vacations). We only received one batch of towels and toiletries and no maid service. I say motel because all of the units exited outside (not an interior hallway). I also enjoyed the balcony view. That's it. So long story short--stay somewhere else. Don't be fooled by the word "Resort" like I was.

They were very accomodating to allow us to check in early and check-in went smoothly. Hard to find their office though. Only issues we had were no dish liquid or dish cloth to clean off counters or table. Half a roll of TP in BOTH baths, so had to go out and purchase. Carpets were very stained and should be replaced. We liked the location very much and the room layout was fine. We were only there 2 nights between timeshare opportunities, so have no idea of activities.

Spent 4 days and 3 nights at Barefoot in a villa facing the golf course. The only "service" we needed was check-in and check-out. Check-in took long because it was 6:30pm and only 1 person in the office. The unit was comfortable, clean and felt like "home." We stayed during off-peak season, which made it quiet and uncongested. Still probably a nice place during peak season. You can hear people walking hard in the unit above. The golf courses and driving range are top rate and will cost, but worth it. The amenities are great plus you are next to the House of Blues, which offers great concerts and food if you like that sort of thing. Short drive to the ocean and short walk to the marina. This south end N. Myrtle Beach location is a gem and we will be back.

NICE DEVELOPEMENT, RENTAL COMPANY IS TERRIBLE,COULD NOT FIND THE CORRECT BUILDING VERY LARGE DEVELOPEMENT, NO KEYS ON SITE AFTER HOURS, NEVER KNEW WHAT ACTIVITIES WERE AVAILABLEM ON SITE, CONDO ALTHOUGH OK ,WAS STRIPED CLEAN OF ANY NICITIES IE NO COFFEE,FILTERS, CLEANING PRODUCTS BARE NECESITIES AVAILABLE. NOT VERY GOOD WHEN U ARRIVE LATE

The rooms were very clean and spacious. Great view and close to local attractions. Highly recommended for a family vacation!

Great value. We had no problems whatsoever.

Very helpful rental company, beach vacations inc., let us check in early which helped so much given the fact we had just driven down from new England overnight for 12 hrs. With our 3 young children.

Very spacious and roomy great place for a family vacation. No real complaints just the walls can use some touching up on paint

Well I must say this is probaly my first biggest disappoint and I have been staying at Barefoot Landing for all my trips over the last year or so I stay between the villas and the condos but I was so disappointed with the condo rental I had at Harbour Cove. The room had a smell of old trash like had been left in there. The bar stools, couchs/chairs where very dirty along with the carpets. The toilets ran all day and night and there were no tvs in the bedrooms except for the master room. When you walked in to the master bedroom it smelled like an wet an anmial was in there around the dressor I had to use a can of febreeze air freshner just to be able to tolerate staying in the room. I really feel like they need better house keeping on the rooms the chairs where not placed properly under the tables nor the decor properly around the room. It honeslty looked as if it had a quick run threw job before we checked in because the bedding in one of the rooms was not even on the bed correct. I just dont know but Im willing to stay one more time and if its the same service I will have to locate another resort to stay at.

My family and I all enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean. We all said that we will be staying again in the near future.

The overall location of the resort was great. Lots of restaurants and shopping surrounded the area making it very accomodating and family friendly. The biggest problem that I had was finding the office to check in due to my GPS putting me on the wrong end of the beach. The address that is listed has "South" listed at the end of the street portion, so that confused the GPS and put me about 15 minutes out of the way. Other than that, everything was GREAT!!

the place was nice an quiet,we really enjoyed not having that hotel room amtomsphere,it was like a home away from home,would stay there anytime,its so laid back,if its all rented out,i mite jus stay in the parking lot,lol

Unit stayed in was GREAT!! 9 on a 10 scale. Cant say enough good things!!!! except... Beds were equally awful!! Master room was two single beds pushed together, in the middle of the night I had to look and see if I was laying on the box spring only. Could not recommend to anyone without being fair and informing the uncomfortable sleeping arrangements

The condo we stayed in was very nicely laid out and furnished. Close to major NMB attractions, including several quality golf courses. TVs were old tube-type, and the one in the LR went out the second night, but was replaced the next day. The phone contact number not useful during off hours. Rates were good in February and beach access would have been easy if we went that way. Bridge over Intracoastal could be a pain during busy times, but not for us.

My stay was nice for the price,but I wasn't please with the appearance of the villa. I've stayed in nicer villias at Barefoot before. Maybe if I was given the opportunity to pick the unit I wanted maybe the stay would have been better.

I was looking for a comfortable and affordable place to spend the weekend on line and came across this place. After checking the prices of hotels on the water, i decided to look at Barefoot Resort. I had always wanted to stay there but could not afford it in season. The price found on line was considerable cheaper and was even cheaper that most hotels on the beach. This place was immaculate. It reminded me of a former home of mine. 1742 square feet of luxury for a ridiculous price, so yes I am very happy about this place and do intend to stay there again in the near future.

Every year I take my wife to the beach for her birthday for a weekend of shopping/dining without the kids. We stay someplace different each year and stayed at Barefoot this time. It was very nice. Our condo was very neat and clean and way more room than we needed. My wife said she felt like she was staying in a penthouse. The view of the ICW was a nice change from the ocean . Our only complaint was the college age boys climbing our balcony at 1:30 a.m. to get into their locked room. This certainly was not Barefoot's fault so no foul there. All in all, it was extremely nice and we will be staying there again!

2 Bedroom Condo rated at 4 stars - NO WAY - maybe 2 stars if that. Living room, kitchen and dining room were ok, needs to have some upgrades, very old tube tv's in LR and BR's, mattresses were old and wornout with dips in the middle, walk-in shower the control handle was broken and dangling, the doors did not seal well you could see light coming in around the seals and feel a cold draft coming in, the unit, building and grounds are not maintained, probably was nice 10 years ago, NOT NOW. Would not come back

I really enjoy my time at barefoot yatch club,it was very comfortable n relaxing. A home away from home ready to do it again soon!

The stay was beautiful. I will stay again. The bridge will be available then.

This hotel was pretty good. The bathroom and kitchen were well stocked and the view was nice. When we stayed there the bridge was undergoing maintenance and we had to take a detour that took out at least 15 minutes out of the way. The bridge was out for weeks. The walls were very dirty and needed a fresh coat of paint. I would stay again but not if the bridge is out

We stayed 3 night in December. I got an email that the bridge at Barefoot Landing was closed due to repairs but didn't really pay attention. I should have! The detour took about 15-20 minutes. I would definitely stay here again but only if the bridge was open. The condo was in excellent condition! They should have an office onsite to check-in and out. The check-in is on King's Hwy next door to CVS,
