Mantra on Little Bourke - ملبورن

Was dissapointed that my daughter had to sleep in a camp bed. Wasn't expecting a camp bed in a nice hotel room like The Mantra.

We had a wonderful time!

nice room, handy location (easy walk to southbank and city shopping). I would recommend.

Even though it was in legal precint.. We thourghly enjoyed our stay....Plenty of food places close by....And close to Myer & David Jones!Overall veryn pleasant stay!

I was really impressed with the rooms. Nice and big and comfortable. Bed was comfortable.Carpets on the floor as you step out of the lift was tired and could do with replacing or fixing in spots but otherwise the hotel is great. Would definately stay there again.

In a nutshell, this was a fabulous room in a fabulous location. clean, roomy and the most comfortable bed. Very happy and surprised by the size of the room and the ammenities.thanks for a great overnight stay!

I had a group of 6 family members and we stayed in 2 rooms. The rooms and building in general are very nice, clean, and modern. The service is really nice. They were very helpful in helping us arrange for a the free airport shuttle from and to the airport or telling us where the closest convenient store is. There is also a restaurant in the building that opens until quite late (up to 10p). I would stay there again.

The room was super sized t and contained everything needed.

We enjoyed our stay at The Mantra on Little Bourke and found the location excellent for getting around Melbourne. The bed was very big and comfortable and because of the quiet location, we were able to sleep well. The bathroom was in need of some repairs though, the shower head kept falling down and was hard to adjust. After a day or night out it is nice to return to a good shower. We were not keen on the milk supplied for our coffee much prefering fresh light milk. The staff on reception were very courteous and helpful. We would be happy to recommend The Mantra on Little Bourke to our family, friends and fellow travellers.

The hotel was nice to stay at but for the price of the 1 bedroom apartment I wouldn't want to stay a week!!! It's air conditioning was poor considering the heat outside....the room was quite stuffy. It's a bit far from the main shopping area.....so walking there for the elderly would be a challenge. Overall not a bad place to stay.

Loved Mantra on Little Bourke and would highly recommend. I had an exeuctive suite, which was like a really big studio apartment. There was a dividing wall (with glass tiles for light) in between the bed and the lounge area, so it still felt like a separate room (although with no door). Room was very large as was bathroom (with separate bath and shower). Good kitchenette available and free use of computers in lobby area for web browsing. Great location - close to city centre shops, Spencer St station and shops and a lot of eating places nearby.

Everything a 5 except two blocks to far from all the shopping and up hill from city centre to carry everything. Very spacious rooms hall way and lifts. Very helpfull staff a liitle late each day on room making but didn't bother us as we were coming and going all day with shopping. Perfect distance from Skybus at Sothern Cross station. As for area around and near hotel a little scarey for 2 single females at night and a little noisy on Saturday nights. Would definatley stay again..........

There was one very helpful young man at reception, who went out of his way to accomodate us. When. I asked for information from the other staff, they didn't have a clue about what was going on in Melbourne and didn't even care to find out. Would have hated to be a tourist in Melb.. Need to be able to control airconditioning in your own room. We couldn't change it, it was blowing cold air on us all night and was noisey.

we had a double back to back room for our group of 6 - very comfortable (we didnt mind sharing the king size double beds). The little lounge room was big enough for all of us, and of course being in Little Bourke it was within walking distance of everything, including Hardware lane for dinner and Block Arcade for breakfast..

We were a party of four women in the family suite. We found the suite very spacious with a generous sized bathroom. The tv and dining area allowed us extra space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely look at rebooking for our trip to the tennis in 2014.

The overall experience was good, staff were helpful and friendly. Although they should pay more attention towards room's cleanliness eg bed linen. Ideal for family vacation.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with its own lounge area and kitchenette. The price was very competetive and comparitve to many other places with less features. It was really spatious and had lovely decor. The king bed was comfy and the room was nice and dark. It has a tv in both the lounge and the bedroom. There was only one issue with a constant alarm/noise ringing on the 1st floor in our room, It was only faint and may have been in the air con or something. We still slept well. It was an easy walk to the city and restaurants whhile still being away from the noise of the city. We loved it and will definitely stay here again.

the hotel is situated in a choice location as everything is well within walking distance.in the lobby they also have a cold water dispenser that is welcoming when you come back.the room was clean and beyond what we expected as it was the first time experience for us in Mantra.will certainly be on top of my list if we return to melbourne.

Concierge really helpful, nothing was a problem, great location, really enjoyed the stay.

Much better room this time, will ask for it again. lift door closed on my mother-not good but hotel had it fixed. bit of a damper but just one of those things. staff friendly. got used to the location and when you know your way around town, it is close enough to facilities. Like the apartment compared to hotel room for the space to move around when you are actually in the room. Serviced daily and very clean.

We foung this a great place to stay because its a short stroll from most things that Melbourne city has to offer but is far enough up little bourke street to be peacefully quiet during the evenings.We found the staff at the hotel very friendly, capable and knowledgable and would go out of their way to make sure our stay was an enjoyable experience.We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment, it was very spacious and comfortably appointed with everthing we needed,We would highly recommend this to all and you will not be disappointed.

Very central

A very comfortable,clean apartment in a great location,especially close to Southbank and Crown.The only criticism was that there were road works in Lt.Bourke St that started early in the morning...no relaxing sleep in for us!

Room comfortable but lacked essentials. No welcome book with information packet and tv guide. No dvd player in room, could not connect laptop to tv. Rental dvd player had no remote, so unusable. In house movies too expensive. Beds for 4 seating for 3. One bed was short sheeted. Free breakfast vouchers but no buffet breakfast, had to order off menu. Customer service was poor, lack of communication by staff. Only one luggage trolley. Very bad room location, tucked away in a corner surrounded by only maintenance and service rooms, service trolley left in hallway outside room most of time.

We had a most enjoyable stay. Very practical location, close to some nice eateries in Hardware Lane. Delicious breakfast and great coffee! Would stay there again if returning to Melbourne.

it was great, plenty of room and close to everything

Great hotel, rooms spacious clean staff were very attentive, had breakfast in dining room which was very nice and staff very pleasant.

There is a lot of noise transmission from doors closing and conversations in the corridors

need better pillows
