Very friendly staff at hotel, room was on small side for superior however very clean. Hotel was in process of being taken over so no restaurant was open but this did not bother us as a lot of nice places to stay around Krakow. Enjoyed buffet breakfast. Would go back to this hotel.

All off the Staff were very helpful. The reception people went the extra mile. The Hotel was perfectly situated for easy access to all the sights. I would recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel in February 2012 for 2 nights. Our rating is based on the fact that the hotel has just been refurbished in the last month and we had a superior room, which was very quiet at the back of the hotel. The rooms are not particularly large, but are well decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom well fitted with a decent sized shower. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English.

Booked this hotel at a very good rate and didn't really know what to expect. Well my hubby and I were both extremely happy with everything, the location, the staff, the breakfast, the cleanliness and comfort of the room. We wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Excellent value for money.

Hotel smelled like smoke in non smoking rooms. I was kept up all night by noise outside. If you wanna sleep stay somewhere else. Breakfast was.alright. compared to other hotels in Europe its good, but by American standards its terrible.

The hotel was well situated only 10 minute walk from train station. The staff were very friendly and the room was furnished to a very high standard. Would recommend

We stayed here for 5 nights. We got stuck into this place because it was past the cancellation period. The hotel itself was mediocre and the reception was good. But the food got both me and my wife sick the first two days. So if you eat here stick to the bread. There was constant smoke in the hallway, even though our room was non smoking. It felt like a bar, and we woke up with headaches from the fumes every morning. Reception wasn't a big help on that. To top off our entire stay, the house keeping stole 300 us dollars from my money belt! Unbelievable! Talked with the manger who could only offer to review security tapes. Very friendly people but will stick a knife in your back if you're not careful. Up to you where you stay, but I will tell everyone I know to steer far away from this place.

Great hotel, helpful staff, would stay again

i found this hotel to be incredibly good value for money, especially since breakfast was included in the price. if i had to complain about something it was the intense smell of cleaning fluid or air freshener in the room and the slightly unsavoury smell in the bathroom. also the bed and the bathroom where a bit on the small side. everything else was as you expect it in a much more expensive hotel. the location is great. five minutes walk to the main square and about ten to the train station.

Fantastic hotel - centrally located, friendly staff, good quality breakfast, comfortable, clean and contemporary rooms.

We stayed here for four nights and would recommend the hotel for a city break. Our room was quite small but comfortable and very clean. The main complaint with the room was that the tea/coffee sachets were not replaced at any time. The air conditioning was not very efficient which could be a problem in the summer months when it might be necessary to open the window, with resulting problems of noise from the street. Staff were friendly and helpful, giving advice on public transport etc. There was a reasonable range of food for breakfast. The main plus for this hotel was its location - only 3 minutes from the main square. Krakow is a great city to explore with all the main sights within easy walking distance. We fully intend to visit again and the Wielopole would be our choice of hotel.

excellent little hotel superbly positioned just outside the centre approx 5 mins walk into the old town square and a couple of very good little bars on the way should you not be able to manage the walk without a drink! Rooms were all good - with nice clean bathrooms (shower only). Hotel service generally very good especially the reception staff who were always smiling and helpful. Even their tours were not overpriced. Only downside i can think of was the breakfast which although was varied and food quality Ok, it was very much like a scrum at busy times.

Very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Very conviently located for visiting all the places of interest. Hotel restaurant and bar were being renovated during our stay but we were not disturbed by any noise whatsoever. It is only a five minute stroll to main square,the cloth hall and the beautiful church of St Mary. Very much looking forward to returning to beautiful Krakow. The only negative I will mention is the breakfast was not very good and if you are not an early riser you will find very little to choose from and you will be left with tepid water for your tea or coffee.

The single room was basic but very clean and comfortable bed. Only complaint being the view from the window was to the back of flats so couldn't see how the weather was in the morning. Breakfast was pretty good for a buffet in Europe. Within easy walking distance to centre and only less than 15 minutes to the station going through the park. Train every half hour to airport between£2-£3. Would use hotel again .

Everything was more than we expected. Location, price, staff, breakfast and everything was fantastic. We will stay at this hotel again!

The hotel is not too far a walk from the station around 15 minutes and is right near the center of town around 5 blocks. The staff varied some were very helpful others seemed rushed and overwhelmed with a little attitude. The room was small and basic but fine.

The location is perfect, right between the Old Town and the Jewish quarter and only 10 min walk to the main train station. You could walk everywhere, never need to take a bus or tram. The staff are lovely and helpful. The breakfast buffets are filling and fresh. It really is the perfect hotel! Would go back in a heart beat.

Great location near everything, safe, very clean; Desk staff specifically 2 young girls, Ola and Carolina were outstanding and a credit to the hotel. Room too small for 2 people; bathroom although quite adequate, newer and roomy had no where but a 5" shelf to set personal hygiene things, e.g. cosmetics on, only 2 towels per person, no washcloths, no coffee pot, hairdryer was old fashioned with minimal wattage. Beds very comfortable although narrower and shorter than a twin bed and in the way of opening balcony door. Breakfast area disorganized with only one person tending to replenish and food boring after 3 days, everyday the same layout-no variety and at times eggs and crepes were cold Would not return there, too many other choices.

The Staff was great, very helpful!! The restaurant serves great food, not the typical cuisine that you would expect from a hotel. many of the selections are home style Polish dishes and priced lower than many other restaurants in the area. The rooms are a bit small and parking is a challenge, but apart from that, it was a good place to stay.

Krakow is splendid and the Wielopole is a fine choice of hotel, set right in the middle of the action, has a fine staff and offers a great buffet breakfast.

If you're looking for 5star luxury book a 5star hotel. Hotel Wielopole is a clean, comfortable little hotel only a few steps from the main square. I booked in to Wielopole for one night as I arrived a day earlier than the rest of my party (we had booked into an apartment for the remainder of our stay). Upon arrival I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who, upon finding out that this was my first visit to Krakow, gave me a rundown on the city and provided me with plenty of really useful guide books, maps etc (if you are planning a trip to Krakow, I highly recommend getting yourelf a guidebook called 'Krakow in your pocket', normally £5 but free from the reception at Wielopole). When I got to my room, i found it to be clean and comfortable - somewhere to lay your head after a long day of sightseeing. And, with the temperatures reaching 30C plus, the air-con was a godsend. All in all this is a good little 3 star hotel which, if I visit Krakow again, I will almost definitley use again.

This hotel was very central and perfect distance to walk to either the old town or the Jewish quarter where there were heaps of great places to eat and drink. staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel breakfast was pretty good, pancakes were a highlight. Only criticism was that on the saturday night it was very noisy and we heard lots of voices and yelling from party-goers all through the night. The Sunday night was fine though and not noisy at all.

De indruk die we hebben gehad tijdens ons verblijf was, in tegenstelling tot onze verwachtingen, heel goed. Alles zag er goed onderhouden en schoon uit. Het eten was prima, prijs/kwaliteit meer dan uitstekend. De mensen aardig. Jammer dat het Pools zo moeilijk is, maar gelukkig spreekt men in toeristische structuren bijna overal Engels of Duits! We hebben moeilijkheden gehad met de auto, en ook dat is snel en efficient opgelost. We kijken met plezier op ons verblijf terug!

Ok hotell. Litt dårlig service, men ingen store utfordringer

Fine, nyrenoverte, komfortable rom. Appetottlig og funksjonelt bad. Svært serviceinnstilt personale. God frokost i tiltalende frokostlokale. Hotellet ligger nær gamlebyen i gangavstand fra serverdigheter som Rynek, Mariakirken og Wawel. Et utmerket, lite hotell som kan ambefales sterkt.

Et utmerket hotell på alle vis. Svært hyggelig betjening og god service, rent og nyrenovert rom, tiltalende og praktisk bad, utmerket frokost i pent og hyggelig frokostrom, grei beliggenhet i kort gangavstand fra gamlebyen og viktige severdigheter.

Var i en gruppe på 3 par som "konkurrerte" i å finne noe negativt på hotellet. Ingen vant, da vi ikke fant noe å utsette. Kommer til å velge samme hotell ved neste besøk!

Servicekvalitet

El hotel es cómodo, bastante nuevo, limpio y bien mantenido y a tan solo unos minutos andando del centro de la ciudad. La zona donde está emplazado es tranquila pero a la vez está muy bien comunicada. El desayuno es abundante y variado y el personal muy amable y servicial. Sin lugar a dudas, volvería e este hotel. La única pega es que no renuevan las botellitas de champú/gel diariamente.

Vi var fire personer på tur, og har absolutt ingenting å klage på! Blide og imøtekommende personale, som til og med kunne fortelle om de andre i reisefølget var kommet tilbake eller ned. Altså våkne og service-innstilt. Ikke minibar på rommet, men hva skal man vel med det???? Frokosten var veldig bra, buffet med noe for enhver smak.

Très proche du centre, à 3 mn à pieds, hôtel tout neuf, personnel accueillant...A recommander !
