the rooms are small. The location is good. Most of the desk clerks are helpful. The music in the lobby is a nice touch.

Great location & staff was awesome. A bit overpriced for quality of rooms, but location saved on transportation cost. Very quiet.

This was a very nice hotel and we had a pleasant stay. The staff at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, our non-smoking room smelt of smoke the entire time. The breakfast buffet although full of options was disappointing and just not very good. The one dinner we had at the restaurant had terrible service and I would not recommend having dinner at the hotel. This hotel did not have wifi in the room, only accesable in the lobby. Other than that, we would highly recommend.

A nice hotel in a great location. Not 'luxury' but clean and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Everything was quite acceptable. My only "discomfort" was that the beds were small (narrow), but this could be a standard outside of the US .

My wife and I went to the hotel for a night away from the kids. The hotel is a five minute drive from all major attractions and a 20 min walk. That said to get there you have to find the entrance to the one way street and that is a bit of a challenge. Public transportation is readily available and the hotel staff is ready to help should you need it (which we didn't) the rooms are a bit small and fit right in the niche between cozy and cramped. Breakfast was sub par and I would recommend going to the cafe down the block. the 3.5 star rating is right on the money.

Staff were very helpful at checkin Room was small but well furnished and comfortable. Underground parking was available which is premium in Jerusalem where parking is so hard to find. Breakfast good quality and as a really nice touch there was pianist serenading us. Location was a good 10 min walk to Jaffa gate and had a few good eateries very close by. I'd use this hotel again no doubt

The hotel is situated in a pleasant area of downtowm Jerusalem that is very convenient to the local sites and shopping, such as the old city and the Ben Yehuda Street shopping area. You can walk, or take a bus or cab. Also, there are some great places to eat right near the hotel, including a small pizzeria which has everyone raving about their thin-crusted pizza and delicious fresh pasta, Who would've thought that you would find the best pizza in the world in Israel, of all places! The hotel itself has a fantastic buffet breakfast included in the price of the room. Don't miss it! The hotel itself has clean, comfortable, ample accommodations, professional and helpful staff, and excellent security.

Very small bathroom, hardly adequate for 1 person yet alone 2, small room, expensive for what you get

One of the prime reasons I booked this hotel was for the included parking. When I got there at night there was no availability in their lot.i had to go look for street parking about a ten minute walk from the hotel. Again in the AM after returning from a local errand they still had no availability and I again had to waste time finding parking

This was a very nice hotel spoiled by the aloofness (or plain unfriendliness) of the hotel staff. The room was very clean and well presented although the kids sofa bed was very small. The room as a whole was quite small for what it cost, but I guess that is Jerusalem. The breakfast was very disappointing after some fantastic breakfasts we had in Tel-Aviv.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Prima Royale - very friendly staff and good location.

The entire staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. If you don't mind a small room this is a lovely hotel.

From the house keeper to the front desk......... all were anxious to please.

The review of this Hotel says you can fit 3. GOOD LUCK! we couldnt even fit our luguage. We ended up moving to the dan panaroma a block away. It was more expensive but worth it.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area of jerusalem, opposite some of the nicest sites, including the lit up Monterfiori windmill and a wonderful view ( across the street) of the litup old city wall. The room was good and so was the overall feel of the hotel. But, and there are three buts: the reception staff were unfriendly, confused, and wanted to double charge me for my prepaid night's stay, and wouldn't stop arguing until I had to show them on my Ipad that you had actually confirmed the prepaid reservation. The breakfast, while ample, is very boring and of low quality ref other hotels. Indifferent bar staff, and very bad red wine choices.

Nice clean hotel. We enjoyed the stay. We spent four nights at this hotel. I cannot say this is an exceptional hotel, for the price we paid, the service and facilities were OK. I found the front reception person was a bit rude and blunt in his responses to questions. But I will still recommend this hotel.

it's in a great location, close to the Old City and Emek Refaim (neat neighborhoods); it was clean, breakfast was very good and it was just fine. But not a great value for the money -- it wasn't inexpensive and we expected more -- no free internet, small room, whole hotel could use an update.

Good location - about a 10 minute walk to the Old City. Nice breakfast. Not fancy but a good value.

We had a "deluxe" room, it's really only big enough for one person, no seating area, limited place for clothes and very small bathroom. Dinner is very expensive. The underground parking is only for the brave and those with rental cars that have full coverage. Definitely would not return, very disappointed for the money spent ...there are much better choices in Jerusalem.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for - very comfortable, clean, modern, a very nice (large) breakfast buffet, and the perfect location. We will definitely return there on our next visit.

We stayed at the Prima for one night and found it perfect for a quick visit. The breakfast was great with music and sparkling wine and the room was clean and relatively large. All in all a good bargain.

Room was not large but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with the usual Israeli choices plus a number of other options (e.g., pancakes, waffles, etc). Parking garage will test your tight maneuvering skills, especially if you have a mid size or larger car. Staff was polite and helpful. Overall, a good value for the money but if you want a 5 star hotel, this is not it.

Double bed was two single beds pushed together which was unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. When we complained we got moved to another room which had a double bed. If you are someone that expects body lotion or conditioner provided to be provided during your stay at a hotel, then this place is not recommended. If you don't expect such basic toiletries to be provided, then this place is recommended for you.

When I first arrived the receptionists, two of them, were talking to each other. They ignored me. When they finally acknowledged my presence, they were somewhere between formal and irritable. Not a good start. Later in the stay other receptionists were fine to excellent, but it took me several days for me to oevercome this inhospitable welcome. On the positive side, I needed to use a meeting room. The first price they quoted was several hundred dollars to use a stuffy, no-window log thin room with a non-movable boardroom table. That was frustrating, as I had committed already to the people who were scheduled to come to the meeting that it would be at the hotel. Eventually however we moved the meeting to an alternative space (also no windows but with flexible seating). They ended up also charging me nothing for all day use of the room, which went a long way toward upgrading my goodwill toward them. Again, the issue was who was in charge. Several were totally lovely, responsive and acccomodating. Other front desk staff were grumpy and rigid. The food is ok, with the one exception of the morning pancakes which I couldn't stop eating. Totally yummy. The best part of my stay there though was the evening singalong. One night two delightful performers set up shop at 9:00pm in the dining room, with a screen that had words to the songs. I loved it.

The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, up to date. Amenities included fluffy terry robes and slippers. The location was convenient. The restaurant and cafe were less agreeable, with limited selections and sometimes curt service. The breakfast had better selections than other meals. Elevators were slow. Occasionally, the front desk was too busy to respond quickly.

We only stayed at this hotel one night on a two-day trip to Jerusalem, but I enjoyed our experience. The rooms were in quite good condition, and I appreciated both the free parking and the nice selection at the breakfast buffet. The front desk staff were very nice as well. The hotel was also in walking distance of the old city, though not so close as to be overrun by tourist traffic. My only complaint was that the internet access was relatively expensive. However, I was pleased with our experience overall and would be happy to return.

Much nicer than the lenardo and in a much nicer neighborhood that is close to the old city and German colony and all of the good eats. We were upgraded to a nice room and had coffee and tea service in the room. We liked it so much, we changed hotels to the Prima in Tel Aviv.

The hotel is nice but not a 4 star. Too many groups in the lobby so not so quiet. Room are just ok. Tv was in Russian for 2 days and bathroom was old and partially working. Location Ka more than perfect really and breakfast was amazing with a pianist playing while you eat. If price was lower it would have been a great deal.

Mycket trevlig. Fina rum med badrock och en stor vattenflaska när vi kom. Rent och fint. God frukost med massor av mat. Fin service.
