the staff were friendly and accomodative. may be during our stay there were not that many guests therefor we enjoy the attention. room was generally spacious and clean. since we were there just as a transit to catch a plan early morning, i guess the stay was comfortable and the surrounding was nice and the people were friendly.

The first room that was assign to us had a bad and outdated heat and air condition unit which reported to the desk and we were moved to better room across the hall with a updated unit.

After reading previous reviews was unsure on what to expect. I read in the reviews that parking at the hotel was $10 so I was prepared for that. I think that is why the online price was pretty cheap. The recoup the money in charging a parking fee. They should really let you know that when you reserve online. The airport noise was not too bad. I don't know what happened early in the morning, we didn't place do not disturb sign on the door and someone attempted to enter the room (to deliver the morning paper?). Overall not a totally bad experience!

Hotel was very clean and inviting. No fridge in room made it kind of an inconvenience. Housekeeping was pleasant and on task. Hotel restaurant was a disappointment, but great restaurants are close. Did not like the fact that you pay for parking in there own lot nightly... Day shift for front desk was the worst... it consisted of very young employees, who can be very snappy and inconsiderate. Overall stay was ok.

Very comfortable bed, nice clean room, very nice hotel. I was extremely satisfied with my experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The water to the toilet was turned off and it took one hour and two calls to the front desk to get the water turned on. The shower valve was not adjustable. The mid range of hot water did not work, it was full hot or cold or cool. The room was clean and comfortable.

We had two cars and what we had to pay for parking we caould have stayed in the same area, nicer hotel with FREE parking

The hotel was very convenient. Having a shuttle to and from the airport was great. Had a bit of trouble when first checked in. But the staff quickly solved the problem and were very accomodating.

No where in the description did I read that this hotel charges 10.00 per night for parking, if I seen that I would not have booked there. Also their small thin pillows suck, I woked up with a stiff neck and headache. Too close to the airport with the plane noise all night long.

I had a good experience at this hotel..i loved the cookie we got when we arrived frm our long drive..it was a very clean and quiet hotel..around the block from the highway..places to grab a quick snack very close,many gas stations in the neighborhood. Hotel staff very nice and helpful.business center very convenient and secluded and also has a printer..overall great hotel..oh , VERY BIG HOTEL ROOM, you can fit 2 king beds and stil have alot of ro om

Close to airport, good facilities, proficient staff

I WAS CHARGED AN EXTRA $20.00 TO MY CREDIT CARD AFTER I STAYED ONE NIGHT.

Hotel and restaurant were fine - only 'surprise' was the fee to park in their parking lot while staying at the hotel...I was not aware of this fee and it never entered my mind that there would be one. This was not for valet parking...just to park it yourself.

Clean wonderful place. Highly recommend you stay with the floks at Double Tree Atlanta.

From the moment we entered the hotel, (August 6, 2011) we were welcomed with smiling, wonderful service! The staff seemed happy to be there and it showed! The buffet was wonderful both for lunch and breakfast, and we ordered delicious food from room service in the evening. We got adjoining rooms with relatives, and it was a wonderful experience. We definitely will recommend it to friends. Thank you, Double Tree Atlanta Airport staff for such a pleasant experience.

The hotel was located very close to the airport. Getting to the hotel, the area of town was a bit on the run-down side. The hotel was tucked away nicely though and was nicely kept. Check-in was quick and we were able to get settle in the room. Everything about our stay was good except for the bed. It was too soft for my liking but my wife didn't have any trouble. I especially liked the price for the quality. Hotel staff were courteous. We did not eat at the hotel but we did look at the menu. Prices were very competitive and reasonable.

We stayed at the DoubleTreen Hotel located close to Atlanta Airport. It was very convenient to downtown Atlanta. It is very close to Turner Field, and you can avoid lots of the ballpark traffic by staying at this hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly, and even gave us extra cookies (which is a bonus if you stay at a DoubleTree). This hotel was very reasonable on price, great location, and will definitely stay in this hotel again when I visit Atlanta.

Being by the airport I was expecting airport noise but there was none. Also, they had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel.

The only rub against this hotel is you have to pay for parking. Other than that it's excellent!!!

Late arrival and very early flight out so stay was extremely short. Only negatives were a musty smell in the room and no-show by the shuttle driver at 5 am. They put 5 guests in a cab--packed in a cab with strangers was not the best way to start the day. At least they got us there...would stay again in spite of it.

The service over all was great and we really enjoyed our stay!! We will definitely stay there again in the near future!!!! The complimentary cookies was great and I never stayed at a hotel that had that type of security!!!

i didnt like the neighborhood much but over all inside hotel and services were nice on that price. it really worth it!!

I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends. I was taken away by the complimentary cookies given to us at check in. The cookies were a bonus. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. I'm not sure why this hotel received 3 stars, it definitely deserves 5.

Loved our short stay in Atlanta. Rooms were nice and clean and friendly staff! We had to go to a shoe store before we headed to the airport and we were set up with a taxi driver named Coffee. Coffee is an incredible individual and we had some wonderful discussions with him. Thanks to the Doubletree's recommendation!! Please keep Coffee on your list!! Thank you.

The hotel was adequate, food was good, not to expensive so good value, but air conditioner in our room was extremely noisy and just 2 feet from the bed so gave us a restless night. The Atlanta Airport was a 5 minute drive away and the staff were very helpful.

Driving to this hotel I was uneasy as you pas through a dodgy looking neighborhood but once there it was awesome. Front desk were EXTREMELY helpful, the room was great and the king bed REALLY comfortable. Room smelled clean, the shower pressure was magic and the TV worked great. AC was a bit noisy but the morning coffee made up for it and the wonderful attentive staff. Thanks. Max

The hotel apparently was remodeled about two years ago and was in very good condition, every where in the hotel was clean and in nice condition. I found it to be a great value for the lower price I paid. The only concerns I would express to people are that the restaurant menu was limited and the one meal I had was average at best. Also the location was safe & secure, but a bit out of the way, but with a rental car it was fine for us as we were touring around a lot anyway.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful!!

We stayed at this hotel which was within 6 miles of the GA World Congress Center where our granddaughter had a volleyball tournament. After being assigned our room, we found renovations ongoing in the room. But the front desk quickly reassigned us and provided complimentary breakfast to amend for the inconvenience. All of staff was very accommodating.

The hotel was convenient for my meetings. My room was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff was warm and helpful.

the hotel staff was mixed nice and unpleasant. the cookies that double tree gives as a signature item were not available until the check out or late at night. the lounge was small. the room needs some maintenance(ceiling in bathroom looked terrible almost like it had a water leak.) parking was 10.00 per night supposed to be included but was not. could hear the planes all night long from the airport. not sound proof. check out there was no thank you for staying with them(more like we have your money now get out.) overall this double tree will not get my business again and will not be recommended to anyone. if i wanted motel 6 treatment i would have book the motel 6.

The customer service was horrible , but the bed and room were great.

Beyond greeting staff problem. The beds were not comfortable. The most annoying thing is that the AC unit was VERY loud, and since it was August in Atlanta, you needed to have the AC on. This made it difficult to wind down after all day meetings with my family. You had to turn the TV to MAX whenever the AC was on. Kids thought it was funny whenever the AC would shut off, the TV was loud, so we managed to find humor in the situation. Meeting room was nice and staff was very nice on the other hand. I just expected more out of DoubleTree

I don't know what possessed me to book our Thanksgiving travel stay at this hotel when we could have paid $10 more per night to stay at the Westin! I will say that the room was spacious and comfortable. However (a) I saw several bugs. Granted, they were not roaches but still. (b) We arrived at the hotel well after midnight and, after driving for 10 hours in the middle of chaotic, holiday traffic, were greeted by one of the most unfriendly front desk receptionists I've ever met. Well, let me revise that statement. Since we waited at the front desk with bags in tow for several minutes hoping for someone, a.n.y.o.n.e to come out from the back I can't actually say that we were ever "greeted". But obviously only the night shift workers are sub-par because everyone else we had to deal with at the hotel was very pleasant. (c) Another problem I had with this hotel was the ridiculous parking fee. There is literally no. where. else. to. park. other than the hotel lot because the hotel itself is actually off the main road (it's not as if you can park elsewhere and walk. no.) They charge you $10/night to park your car and guests must also pay if they plan on staying longer than 30 minutes. (d) Finally, the location of the hotel just wasn't that great. True, it was near the interstate and there are a few chains like Waffle House, McDonald's, and Ruby Tuesday, the surrounding neighborhoods just weren't that inviting. All in all, if I could go back, I'd have paid just a little extra to stay elsewhere....I'm sure it would have been worth every penny.

Bathroom was not clean (smelled) and was never cleaned during our stay. Service was poor: never had enough towels. No hair dryer. Always had to request more. It took a long time between making a request & having it taken care of. Restaurant should have had the option of non-buffet lunch.
