I thought the Pudi Boutique is great value for money. Staff are helpful and friendly and the hotel is in a really great location. Would stay there again and would recommend to friends.

We had a great stay in this hotel, only problem was that it was only for 4 nights. Wanted to stay longer. Nice and friendly with everything you could need.Night staff was a bit less service oriented but all others did well.We want to and will come back soon.

I came to this hotel because of its clean and modern style. The location is good for people who like shopping or western foods. The service is okay, but do not expect 5 star service as there is barely an lobby, very small space, staff will come out from a room behind if guests show up. House cleaning women will actually argue with you if you ask them for additional toilet item at one time even though the the toilet items were never used for the first several days. They will charge RMB 87 for shampoo/conditioner ( few oz?). The room and the bath room both modern and nice though. I like the other 5 star hotels service than this home management style hotel, though the room/bath room is very nice. They charge RMB 204+ for a barely nothing breakfast. There is no place around for breakfast. It is right by Huaihai Zhong Lu, a name brand shopping street. ...

This is my new hotel of choice in Shanghai. Will not stay anywhere else. Great location to walk through the french district in Shanghai. Very comfortable, 5 stars!!!

i chose this hotel mostly because of being in the french concession, which is the best part of shanghai. here's how the hotel breaks down: lobby- okay, very small and not much a waiting area. room- huge and nicely done, seat at the bay window is great. bathroom is also huge and equipped with l'occitone soaps! my only issue with the rooms was that they are hot, we went in january where it's cold outside and i turned the a/c on full but was still hot at night. i think they shut down the system at night. restaurant - on the 8th floor, had a great view and the breakfast was really good. overall, the place is great but the decor is strangely darkly lit.

This hotel was amazing. I stayed here 8 nights and housekeeping was impeccable everyday. You can't count on views out of your room, but the rooms are so nice that it won't really matter. My wife was fascinated with the bathroom. And being so close to Xintiandi, Tianzifang, Sinan Mansions, the Shanghai Museum, and nightlife was a real plus. The only awkward part of the hotel was that reception often stays in a room off to the side of the lobby, I guess they're watching security cameras from there, but it felt strange to walk into an empty lobby so often.

Not only was the room huge (and the largest bath tub I've ever used), but the hotel staff was amazingly helpful and friendly (they went out of their way to secure a SIM card for us, and after several attempts with the wrong kind, they kept at it and finally got us exactly what we needed), but the hotel was comfortable and very well located. Close to two subway lines and on the junction between two very walkable areas (French Concession and Xintiandi).

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Pudi Boutique. The neighborhood is really great--plenty of nice restaurants and the hotel is reasonably close to subway stops. The staff at the hotel were great and the rooms were terrific. The hotel costs a bit, but it is worth it!

Stylish and beautiful boutique hotel in ideal location in the French concession of Shanghai. Corner suite contains small kitchen with coffee and tea making and microwave, desk with everything needed for work and a fabulous bathroom. Very much enjoyed the hotel and the service provided by staff speaking quite good English.

Everything is almost perfect at this hotel. Will defintely stay there next time I visit Shanghai.

The hotel is located in the French Concession district close to restaurants, shopping, transport and a nice park. The area has much more character than Pudong or the Bund where most of Shanghai's tourist hotels are located. My room was very spacious with a huge bathroom and an unobtrusive kitchen area. I loved the decor: very stylish and tasteful with low lighting. Breakfast was great too. I deducted one star because they double billed me for incidentals, but other than that I had a great stay.

Great news upon arrival: I was updated to a suite with a city view. The rooms was enormous, stylish, and fun! Tip: Make sure you print out the directions in Chinese with a phone number so when you hop in the cab, they will know how to get there. Otherwise you will be paying for a lost taxi driver to take you all around Shanghai.

This small urban hotel is an oasis within Shanghai. Well appointed rooms offer comfort as well as efficiency -- details are everywhere, making the travelers life easy. Well located with easy walking to many of the tourist assets of the French Concession. A quiet relaxed setting adjoining Fuxing Park and easy walking to Xintiandi and the Huai Hai Road shopping areas. Enjoy it!

Nice and quite place, if you like to impress your lady. This is the place to take her. Close distance to all places where younger (25-40) European party crowd hangs. (read more in Lonely Planet) 4-6 euro (10-15min) taxi takes you to most of recommended places.

This boutique hotel offers the perfect combination of high-quality, excellent service, fine location and small number of rooms with large room size. Near Fuxing Park, Xintiandi and Huaihai Road a delightful French Concession location with ample surrounding services. The fish tanks at every room add the right finishing touch.

Very nice modern hotel - larger rooms and beautiful bathrooms. We stayed for a weekend and our only issues related to the Wireless Internet (non existent during our stay on the 4th floor)... apparently Wi-Fi only applies to higher floors of the hotel. Also, as there is major construction going on next door we were woken by drilling and banging at 6.45am on Sat morning when the construction works began!!!.

Lovely hotel right by Fuxing Park. Restaurant has only a limited and expensive menu. Small cafe across the street has good breakfast special including delicious house coffee for $4

Great rooms, fantastic location, quiet area, very honest staff - my wife left her Rolex watch in the room, and it was returned by the cleaning staff. Minor maintenance problems in both the rooms where we stayed, and VERY low pressure water in the bath and showers, with some irregular hot water supply.

This is a sylish small and conemporary hotel in the French Concession within easy reach of the city centre. Great srvice, nice rooms, very comfortable right opposite the park.

Stay there from 7/2/10 to 7/8/10. Hotel decor is very nice - very artistic and classy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good amenities. Free internet access (wired) but wifi is only availble at the club house on top floor. Location is fairly convenient. About 5 minutes walk to Xian Tian Di, and the nearest subway station. It close to one of the busiest business districts in Shanghai (I was told), but this hotel is tucked away so you don't feel the hustling and bustling, which is nice. But at the same time, the immediately neighborhood nor the hotel is not very well known and sometimes we have difficulty telling cab drivers where the hotel is.

I really dislike big luxury chain hotels because they offer fake luxury and cynical surcharges for basic services. That's why I prefer boutique hotels. And Pudi is a very good example. Very good service. Nice ambiance. I especially like style of the place: a local flavour instead of the identikit look of international hotel chains. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend.

It's a great hotel located in the center of Shanghai. Very close to Xin Tian Di, with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Nice facility. Beautiful furniture. The service needs improvement. They have a small fitness room, but no attendants there and no towels were provided. They boast a complimentary "Bath Master", but I had trouble getting it set up because they run out of materials. The AC was noisy, but they fixed it shortly after I called. Front desk people are friendly and somewhat helpful. I had a nice stay. It's worth trying out.

Situated between Fuxing Park (50 meters) and Yandang Pedestrian street (20 meters), this hotel is in a great location. Huai Hai Road shopping, Xin Tian Di restaurants, and the Huangpi Road metro stop are all within a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel is in the heart of the French Concession, so many historical sites are also within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. My room had large office area separated from the sleeping area by a large TV/Entertainment center. The bathroom included a large tub and shower. The rooftop restaurant and bar are very nice. And guests are served free drinks every evening from 6:30 until 7:30. The main complaint I have is the view from my room was of an old office building. This probably will not be much better in any other room in the hotel since it only has 8 floors. But the view from the restaurant and rooftop is great. Another small complaint that will probably not affect you is the noise from the construction of surrounding buildings. Call and ask about this construction before booking if this kind of noise would bother you.

Location was perfect - walking distance to Subway, Xintiandi, restaurants and shopping. Room quality was very good - very clean and comfortable. Staff were efficient and very informative.

Hadde et fantastisk opphold på Pudi Boutique Hotel! Flotte rom, med enorme bad, internasjonale tv-kanaler, hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte som snakker godt engelsk og perfekt beliggenhet. Det var mange OK resturanter i umiddelbar nærhet som var fine til både frokost, lunsj eller middag. Ligger også flere butikker som selger vann/brus/is osv rett i nærheten. Treningsrommet var desverre litt lite, men det var ingen andre som brukte det! Hvis man trenger litt mer plass kan man jogge i Fuxing Park. Er alt i alt kjempefornøyd med oppholdet, har ingen negative tilbakemeldinger og vil helt klart bo på samme sted neste gang!

ホテルはきれいですが、接客が悪いです。 ホテルに帰ると、係員がフロントで横になって寝てました 接客や態度は気にならない方なら、お部屋はかな。きれいのでおすすめします

상해 친구들도 와보고 깜짝 놀라더군요. 면적, 시설 수준, 인테리어, 서비스, 교통 등 어느하나 빠지는 것이 없습니다. 신천지에서도 가까워 걸어갈 수도 있습니다. 다음에도 꼭 사용할 생각입니다.

Zimmerservice der schlechteste den ich je erlebt habe!! Kein Doorman, Porter etc etc 5 Sterne Hotel ??????? Zimmer zu dunkel !

とにかく　カラオケの音が一晩中鳴り止まず、寝られない。苦情を言っても隣のビルだからと、、。 環境を整えてから出ないと、毎日クレームつきますよ。 ブティックを気取る前に、基本を整えてください。

Un muy buen hotel, las habitaciones son lo mejor... muy espaciosas con todo lo que se necesita, ademas de un super baño! todo muy limpio... cerca a una zona de shopping bonita y agradeble y buenos sitios donde comer ! recomendadisimo...

Good location, great room, helpful and service minded staff. I would definetly recommend all my friends to stay at Pudi and I would love to come back.

Le hall très modeste de l'hôtel ne laisse pas présager du luxe de ses chambres.La suite que nous avions réservée est vraiment une des plus belles chambres que nous ayons louées à travers le monde d'autant plus que nous l'avions obtenue à prix d'escompte dû à un séjour de plus de 4 jours. La chambre est très spacieuse et la salle de bain de dimension très généreuse avec grand bain et grande douche. L'hôtel est à distance de marche de plusieurs site intéressants. le seul bémol est au niveau du restaurant qui pratique des prix élevés pour une qualité et un choi.x ordinaire

Sehr schönes Hotel mitten im French Quater. Viele Shops und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal Wasserdruck und Temperatur des Wassers im Badezimmer lassen Verbesserungen zu. Internett sehr langsam bis zeitweise unbrauchbar.

A pretty nice hotel and can hide yourself in the city centre but away from noises. Just a few steps to the busy Huai Hai Road as well as the Bars Zone located nearby the Fu Xing Park.......As for the rooms, so fancy but the only complain is the water tap didn't function well....Hotel staffs should take immedite action to check all rooms and fix the problem cos as far as I know, not only my room has this problem...( I had stayed in other rooms before )...Besides this problem...overall it's a highly recommended HOTEL to stay...
