Isle Hotel - Isle Tower - بلاك هوك

We were concerned after reading some reviews, but, We were very pleased. People need to remember that if its not the Ritz, it will not have the Ritz quality. Very friendly people, clean town, & beautiful surroundings.

The room was nice, but the bed was OMG awesome. Not low to the ground and hard like to many motels, this was really high and amazingly comfortable. Best night's motel sleep I ever had. I didn't give a "5" to cleanliness due to some dead gnats in the non-working coffee maker, but other than that the room was nice and clean.

Check in was a bit confusing, my first name was on the reservation as my last name, and my last name was my first name. The clerk at the Lady Luck Tower could not find our reservation, and he did nothing to help us. It was odd that he simply let us walk out of the lobby. The clerk at the Isle Tower found it almost immediately on the arrivals list, Hannah, and upgraded us to a mini suite for the trouble. The room was nice, very large bathroom with large tub. I requested a mini fridge and it was brought up in a matter of minutes, and I was not charged for it. Very friendly housekeepers and hotel staff. Check out took one second and we were off to our next destination! And I even won some money playing roulette that night in the casino!

The room was very nice. The employees I interacted with were nice and respectful, however, the overall feeling I got was that they did not really care if I was there or not. The elevators are not centrally located and it seemed that I had to walk a mile to my room when I got off the elevator. Unless you used the valet parking, you had to walk a ways to park as well.

Had a bit of trouble getting there as the GPS did not recognize Main St. in Black Hawk. Did have decent food and casino entertainment. Service in the restaurant area needs improvement. Not very friendly and the "not my job" syndrome. Bed was comfortable and a good location for surrounding cities. LOVED the old locomotive out front. All in all a good place to stay.

Very nice room with good amenities. Close to all the other facilities in Black Hawk.

I was very surprised by the beautiful room and setting. The brightly colored decor and division of the room were great.

The only thing I didn't like was the distance I had to walk from the bus drop-off at the Lady Luck Casino. It would have been so much easier had the hotel mad arrangements with the casino shuttle to have a drop-off at the Isle also. The stay was actually fantastic!!!

Both the hotel and the casino were very clean!! We really enjoyed our stay there and are hoping to stay there again soon!!

This was a very nice hotel/casino and it was extremely better than the pictures that are on this site. Our first room was not completely clean and the front desk gave us another room immediately. I will be staying her again and I highly recommend it.

We received an upgrade to a suite without asking -- maybe because it was a Wednesday night, or maybe because of booking it through hotels.com . . . getting a jacuzzi suite is always a plus. The new beds are great, but the pillows are still a little flat. Very easy to check in and out.

I was impressed at the cleaniness of our room. The coffee maker is always a plus and the three tv's was unique

The check in was prompt. As for the room, I would rate it a 2. The wall paper was coming off the walls in the bathroom. The safe did not work. You could hear the hallway noise. As for the Buffet, we used it in the AM, arriving at 945, no one told us that they would be pulling the complete Buffet at 10, so to our surprise, when we returned, it was almost completely pulled. I will never stay at the Isle again!

I have stayed here many times and I always enjoy the casino and the room.

It was a very nice room. Big tub for the two of us in the bathroom. However, the noise above us was pretty loud. I don't know if it was a kid running around or they were doing construction. It was pretty loud in the morning. Took them forever to bring us extra pillows, but they did bring them. Pizza in the cafe at the casino downstairs was HORRIBLE!!!! But that's not the hotels fault, I guess.

Check-in was quick and efficient. When I booked on-line, all they had was a room with 2 queen beds. My husband and I prefer king beds, so when we were checking in, I asked if they had a room with a king bed. There was and it FAR exceeded our expectations, especially for the price point! 3 TV's; one in the bedroom, one in the sitting area and the third on the long vanity bench in the bath room. The room even featured a jaquzzi tub next to the bed. GREAT deal! Very clean. I was dissappointed we were only up for a quick one night retreat. Would have loved to spend a long weekend in that atmosphere! Only improvement I would suggest would be more variety and options for restaurants. But a minor issue as there are other restaurants in near by casino's.

The thing that impressed me most about the Isle - Isle Tower was the convenient hours and variety of food in the buffet style cafeteria. The prices were very reasonable, comparable to those at most similarly styled restaurants in Aurora and Denver. Another thing I loved was the bathtub equiped with jet sprays. A very relaxing experience! The televisions staged in various locations throughout the suite was also a nice touch.

I was disappointed in the room. The wall paper was peeling off and decor was overdone. We faced a cement wall. We would either find a bed and breakfast, another hotel or take the bus home.

The hotel is very nice and the folks are friendly. We got upgraded to a first class room with a spa tube. Food was good also.

Nice decor, clean room, convenient to parking and hotel lobby. My only suggestion would be to bring your own pillow if possible. Ample pillows were provided but they were not very fluffy.

we had asked for a cake and baloons to be sent to our daughters room for her bday...she was later told she wouldn't be getting either..we were disappointed with the customer service, we were told they forgot to write it down...the bad part is they seemed to think I wanted something for free, I was insulted.
