Weathervane Motor Court - رونكس

I chose this motel because of its overwhelmingly positive reviews. My mother (Julianna) wanted to get away for a couple of days with my daughter (also Julianna), and me and once we decided upon the Lancaster area, I spent a few days researching places to stay. It's rare to find a place that lives up to its photos and reviews, but everything about Weathervane Motor Court was absolutely wonderful! Our host Nick and his family were beyond friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, the entire place has been remodeled, we loved having a microwave and fridge. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and right behind the motel is an Amish farm - the corn field is feet away from the back of the motel. It is so peaceful here, just off Route 30, yet close to everything. Bird-In-Hand is only 5 minutes away, Lancaster about 15 minutes. I can't say enough about the owners who remembered our names each day, suggested restaurants, brought us extra towels without us even asking. The free continental breakfast made an already great deal even better - the donuts were yummy! I highly recommend this place and only wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for everything Nick!

Over-priced to comparable local motels. Friendly family-owned. Walk to strip-mall restaurants. Breakfast is take back to room only -- served in a sort of storage room? Good, basic place to sleep.

I am a big supporter of small businesses and I was excited to stay here. The room was newly renovated, clean and spacious. Check in and out was very easy and hassle free. Free Wifi made my husband happy. Only negative we found was the free "breakfast"....ummmmm what breakfast? Watered down old coffee with powdered creamer. Stale doughnuts. Bagels with room temp cream cheese. 2 kinds of cereal and 2 kinds of juice. I think the breakfast could afford an upgrade asap!!!!

The staff was very nice. the motel was very nice and clean. The only complaint was the free breakfast was dissapointing. Only cereal and rolls.

Front desk very helpful. Hotel is very convenient to sight and sound as well as other interesting things to see and do. Rooms are old but clean and clean is most important. We enjoyed a bite to eat and our coffee outside.

We had a great stay at Weathervane. The location was excellent, close to the shows stores, and many good restaurants. Management was welcoming and friendly. Will stay again when in the area.

Could not wait to get home to a good nights sleep....bed VERY uncomfortable! So all the comments about the new beds...I must have slept on a OLD ONE. Will not stay again, only because of the beds everything else was good!

The people were very friendly. Rhe rooms were clean freshly painted new beds and flat screen tv. Hotel was close to everything.

We phoned the office to tell them we would be late. Come to find out, the office was closing in 20 minutes and we were still 2 hours away. The owners left us a key and turned the heat on in our room!! We pulled in just after midnight. The owner called our room at 12:15 AM to make sure we were getting settled and that everything was okay. I have never had a motel do all the little things to make our stay more comfortable. The room was nice, clean, and had no strange smells! Definitely recommend this motel!!!!

This hotel is in a great location. It is near Route 30 and many attractions in the area. The clock in the room didn't work, which was a minor inconvenience. The breakfast included with the price of the room made it an extra good value for the money. The hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly.

I picked this hotel based on reviews I read on Trip Advisor. The owner was very accommodating. He put us in a newly renovated room with new beds. They were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The location of the hotel was convenient to the Amish area and to downtown Lancaster. We were a block off the main highway where many restaurants were located but did not hear any highway noise. We ended up staying an extra night.

Located just off of US 30 in a convenient area easy to get around. Beds were replaced recently and very comfortable. Tub/shower drain was very slow one morning but we had to leave very early and didn't have time to inform the manager. However, when we got back that evening, the issue was resolved without us having to ask. Free Wi-Fi was nice, but can be REAL slow at times - esp in the evening. Free continental breakfast was ok and fresh, but coffee was too weak for my taste. We enjoyed the stay. Will return when in the area again.

we were very happy with everything except i woulld prefer in room coffee and a bigger variety on the continental breakfast. other than that we were very happy and satisfied

The motel was located in Ronks, Pennsylvania, and centrally located to everything we had planned. The staff was very efficient, courteous, and helpful. I will definitely book at this motel again when planning another trip to the area.

We enjoyed our stay. This is a wonderful motel for the money. It's very close to the outlets and all of the Lancaster activities. Staff is very friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

I wouldn't want to stay longer than one night. Owners were very friendly an and put us in a remodeled room. Pretty clean everywhere and the room has been redecorated and freshened up. Breakfast wasn't very good and the room it was in was pretty bad, but we had coffee and donut and checked out. It is surrounded by much higher priced hotels and they aren't always what they appear.

Rooms were recently renovated and in good condition! Would recommend staying in a room away from the Coffee Room as it gets kinda noisy early in the am from people going in and out for breakfast. Breakfast selection was a little disappointing but plenty of places around to grab fresh donuts, coffee etc. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating with any requests! Would stay again if the price was right!

Breakfast selection could have been better. Room was just refurbished nicely. Bed very comfy. Great location. Safe.

Great location, very clean room and the light breakfast was very nice.

all was nice during stay nice greet at arrival, room was clean was told room had just been re done new mattress. continental breakfast was good. we don't travel much but when we do it's hard to find a casual chair to sit read, watch tv this location had nice round table with two chairs to match did most sitting on bed. will keep in mind and go there again nice for couples was close to many area attractions. refrig was cold heater worked well

We were expecting to be able to go to a designated room to sit down for breakfast, however, it was a rather dark room where you picked up cereal, coffee, etc. and took it back to your room. We opted not to do this, but drove to a nearby restaurant.For the price, however, it was adequate for one night.

close to attractions, clean, helpful managers, will stay again

A nice clean room with a large screen TV - at a great price!

In the area for a project that required us to work at night (and sleep during the day), we were very pleased with our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet despite its proximity to a major intersection. Bathroom fixtures were new (nice to have the shower/toilet separate from the sink), bedding and towels very, very nice. Flat screen wall-mounted television with Direct TV was great. Furniture just a little worn but certainly functional and not a detraction from an immaculate room. Micro-fridge made up for no in-room coffee. Breakfast is very basic (two cold cereals, two juices, coffee/hot water, nice variety of bagels and good quality donuts/pastry, bananas) and worked very well for us. The staffs at some higher-end hotels would do well to be as friendly and as welcoming as these people were. We would stay here again without hesitation.

New mattresses and a nice garden in the courtyard. Breakfast choices were light but adequate. Carpet was worn. I'd go back.

Staff was very friendly; room was clean, off the road yet close enough to the sights.

room was clean, but walls are thin , next door a baby was crying on and off all night, so we did not get a good night sleep. Also breakfast did not have much to choose from and they have no where to sit down for breakfast.

It was a very nice stay. Close to all the sights and stores. We could come back

The motel is very nice. It was clean. The rooms were recently updated. Free wi-fi. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay again.

My wife, 13 y.o. son and I lovoed this place. We were checked-in by the owners, wonderfully friendly people who gave us good info on local restaurants, of which there are many. Comfortable, clean and quiet room at a great price - loved it!

We found this hotel to be very nice considering it's looks. The rooms were very clean and adequately furnished. The location is very good as there is lots of dining opportunities nearby. Great Value.

I didn't have reservations for the area. We did go off season, so to take advantage of that, the owners are in the middle of remodeling some of the rooms. It was very nice, comfortable, clean and they were accommodating. We went with no plan, just a relaxing get away. Was not sure how many nights we would stay. We ended up staying for 3 nights, to stay in the area, and because it was very clean. When I go the Lancaster area again, I would stay there. Well worth the money to sleep and shower. I wasn't looking for anything fancy just economical and clean. This is the place!

We were in town for a sports competition and just needed a clean room for sleeping. This place was perfect. Our room had been recently refurbished and was very clean with comfortable beds. The rooms all surround a gazebo in the parking area which gives a very quaint appearance, particularly with the candles in the windows. The breakfast was very basic, but if you want something fancier you only have to cross the street. You can't beat this place for the price and location. The staff is also extremely friendly.
