Goodb Hotel in general , however we stayed on a weekend where crowds I'd teenagers came into the area screaming and shouting until 1 am or so. Very near shopping and old city- wonderful atmosphere. Walking distance to train station!

My only gripe about this hotel was that the bed was like sleeping a brick. The rooms were very nice and clear, although we were on an interior wall so there were no outward facing widows which I thought was unusual. The breakfast served in the lobby was quite good and the hotel was walking distance to the marina, trainstation and shops. Great stay overall.

Avoid this hotel for vacations, The worst hotel breakfast ever.. Poor parking.. Boring hotel.. Did they bribe someone for the star rating??

in a panic to try and find a car rental for the last 7 days of our honeymoon, the front desk staff member helped us book our rental on-line and made sure that we were not being taken advantage of given the fact that we were booking directly on the Italian web site.

My One Hotel in La Spezia is a hilly 20-min. walk from the central train station and is a modern, clean, spacious hotel with free wi-fi and many conveniences. Bathroom nice but small shower. Staff speaks little English and not too helpful or friendly. Breakfast is E10 per person or get your own on Via Prione next street over. Good shopping, marina and cafes nearby. Catch boat or train to Cinque Terra easily for day trips. Much easier than staying in Cinque Terra.

This hotel was pretty nice once you found it. It is located on a crazy tight one way street and finding parking near it is impossible unless you get lucky. They say they have free parking but it is only for 10 spots right outside the door and it's on a first come first serve basis. Not likely you will get it. They have a parking garage but it can be full too... and it's 15 Euro a night to park there. So I would recommend that you don't have a car on this trek of your journey. We finally got a spot in the garage and left our car there for 2 days. Once there though, it's pretty convenient for exploring La Spezia on foot and taking the train to all the Cinque Terra towns. Watch breakfast though. They told us when it was and never told us there would be an extra charge if we partook. I complained as we were leaving and they took the charge off but they may not always be so gracious. The rooms were nice, but TV was more the size of my laptop screen than a TV! Good for access to Cinque Terra when you can't afford a place closer.

We were pleased with this hotel and enjoyed the included breakfast which offered hot and cold choices. Room was very nice and the location was wonderful for us. Again, about a 10-12 minute walk over the cobblestones if we took the lower route as the hotel sits on hill with entrances on the upper and lower side.

The location is great: walking distance to train and harbor for Cinque Terre visits, and right smack in the middle of the old city. There's free wifi and free breakfast as well. I didn't have a car, but I understand there's parking too. I got a great deal through Hotels.com. The room was a bit small, and the shower was REALLY small, but nobody is saying this is a luxury hotel. My one suggestion to the hotel is to put a lamp on the desk. I also personally appreciated that this is a modern hotel, with modern amenities.

Before booking this hotel, I read the reviews about the unfriendly staff and was expecting indifferent treatment at best. However, when I arrived at the hotel I found that the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. I was unable to park in one of the designated hotel parking spots, but found an open parking space up the road. I asked the clerk at the front desk if it was OK to leave my car there, he walked with me to my car to see where it was parked and advised that I was in a reserved place. Then he went back to the hotel and called a private garage to see if there were spaces available before advising me to go there. I didn't expect such helpful treatment and was pleasantly surprised.

Hotel staff were very unfriendly. No hot water either day we were there and never received an apology. Not customer service orientated. Water would not run out of the shower and the cleanliness was not very good. Staff at breakfast were unfriendly and it was difficult to get their attention for a cup of coffee.

Excellent hotel and close to the train station.Vety modern adn great breakfast.

The room floors are tile and you can hear everyone else in their rooms in the hotel. The shower was about 2' X 2'and as I had to shave my legs, my butt busted the door open and I am a petite Asian Woman. The "saving grace" for this hotel was the buffet breakfast that was inclusive in the hotel rate.

We used the hotel as our base for visiting Cinque Terre. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station. It's quite and for the most part comfortable. When we were there the temperature was a bit high and the air conditioner in the room didn't keep the room cool -- but that's something I've experienced in other hotels throughout Europe. The location was also convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Le seul point négatif est la literie: très très dur. Je me demande si dormir sur le sol ne serait pas plus aggréable... mais c'est aussi une histoire de gout (pas le mien). Sinon que des points positifs: - accueil bon - au centre de la ville piéton (niv. 0) + accès en voiture de l'autre côté (niv. 5) - place de parking devant l'hotel - chambres spacieuses - prix raisonable (ca dépend de la saison aussi j'imagine).

Very very good hotel at a very reasonable price. We stayed for a week and everything was perfect. The staff were truly friendly and helpful, the cleaning spotless (and we have a small baby, so we made a mess!) and our room was really big and had a large shared balcony with a view. Incredible! The hotel has an alleyway exit right in the middle of the main shopping/pedestrian area, and it is not far from the train station, so it is a wonderful starting point to explore the Cinque Terre, Portovenere ect. --- Virkelig godt hotel til en meget billig pris! Vi boede der i en uge, og alt var fantastisk! Et nyere, lyst og åbent hotel med elevator, der fører ned til en bagudgang, der ligger på gågaden midt i byen. Personalet var utroligt søde, venlige og hjælpsomme, rengøringen var upåklagelig (vi rodede ellers meget, da vi rejste med vores lille baby) og vores værelse var meget stort, med et pænt badeværelse og udgang til en stor udsigtsterrasse, som vi delte med et andet værelse. Et glimrende hotel i gå-afstand fra togstationen, hvorfra man nemt kan udforske Cinque Terre, Portovenere mv. Vi kommer gerne tilbage og anbefaler gerne hotellet!

I stayed in this hotel to go to Cinque terre. on the map, the location looks good to take a train. But it's quite far from the station and the way to hotel was little bit dark.

Propre et bon accueuil, mais vaut tout au plus un 3 étoiles

Hotel para quem não faz questão de luxo. Não tem estacionamento próprio, nem serviço de valet ou bell boy. Suite é espaçosa, mas a tv é menor que um monitor de computador e o box é minúsculo. Sua localização é boa (nada como uma caminhada para as estações de trem e barco). Mas na falta de outros melhores, ele serve. O cafe da manha é bom.

Hotellet är förhålllandevis nytt och fräscht med modern design. Rummet var rent och med ett bra utformat badrum. Hotellet ligger beläget precis i centrum med närhet till allt. En av hotellens utgångar är i direkt anslutning till gågatan. För de som vill besöka cinque terre är det fem minuter till både hamnen och centralstationen. AC fungerade väldigt dåligt i vårt rum vilket gjorde att det var olidligt varmt under natten (vi besökte i början av augusti med ca 35 grader varje dag). kuddarna var också lövtunna. Hotellets enda hiss är jättelångsam vilket innebar långa väntetider om man inte kunde använda trappan (vid in- och utcheckning). Hotellet har också begränsat antal parkeringsplatser så vi fick parkera på en av de angränsande gatorna och betala 1,50 Euro i timmen. Det är därför en god idé att be att de reserverar en parkeringsplats om man kommer med bil.

Da ich die Bewetungen gelesen habe war ich ein wenig voreingenommen. Aber ich musste meine Meinung revidieren. Das Hotel ist zwar nicht einfach zu finden. Dank meines Navis aber dann doch kin Problem. Man kommt ganz einfach zur Bahn oder zur Fähre . Beides ca. 10 Minuten Fußmarsch. Ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich nur Empfehlen.

Bad restaurent recommendation from the staff

Hotel was modern, clean and centrally located. Make sure you get to the busy breakfast room a bit early as it is quite small and seats get taken. Only negative was that being on the 2,3 and 4 floor you are basically under the reception level and views are not spectacular. Make sure you stay on 6-7th floror.

Nöjda med allt på hotellet, vi bokade ett dubbelrum och fick en svit med terass. Enda minuset var att det inte fanns utemöbler på terassen, vilket är en förutsättning för att den ska kunna användas. Mycket centralt läge samt ca 10 min gångväg till tågstationen för dagsturer till Cinque Terre.
