The hotel is spotless and modern, There are some small food stores, a small drugstore all within a couple of blocks. Just start walking around and you will find them. There is a restaurant right across the street from the hotel.There is a pizza shop and a one or two small cafes within a few blocks. There is a free art museum right across the street. The rooms are soundproof and have blackout drapes so we had a good night sleep.

cold plates for breakfast, and breakfast only warm - you had to eat it quick on both mornings!! Wi-Fi V. slow and had to pay for parking!!!

Hilton Kilmainham in Dublin - relaxing and quiet, just 25 mins from city centre by tram (5 mins walk away). Leisure facilities OK but pool size disappointing. Breakfast adequate, not 4* but good although 'hot' food just warm to cool. Overall it was good value but car parking at 3 euros an hour is expensive.

Stayed at this hotel on St Patricks night, found reception staff cold and uninvitering, receptionist never made eye contact all through check in. Hoel was comfortable with nice relaxed bar. The staff at breakfast next morning were amazing couldn't do enough to accomodate your needs. Overall a pleasant stay but thought the overnight parking charge a bit steep.

Overall the hotel is excellent value, the location is a little out of town but there is good public transport nearby. The room was lovely and clean and spacious, my only small gripe was that the pillows were a bit hard and lumpy! At breakfast make sure you ask for fried or poached eggs when you order your tea or coffee if you want them with your cooked breakfast, otherwise you'll do like we did on our first morning- load up our plates with the self serve cooked breakfast only to find there was only scrambled egg ready prepared and then have to wait for 4-5 minutes for poached eggs! Other than these two small quibbles we were very satisfied and would stay there again.

Again had a great experience staying here. Beautiful room, very close to town, excellent value, fabulous breakfast in bed for not much extra,newspaper to room etc and most of all great spa so getting best of both city and spa break(which is quiet difficult so close to city centre) Would highly recommend it and looking forward to staying there again

We stayed for three nights . A/c a problem as i stated to staff as rooms crazy hot ,however staff did bring fans which helped. Rooms tidy and clean i am a clean freak so checked rooms out . In room 137 nice room minor repairs to bath paint in tub ,handheld shower not working, was happy with everything else. I know stated here people said staff not nice we found the cleaning staff the best of the lot of them as we didnt want our room cleaned we asked for extra towels etc and all were very helpful. Staff at breakfast some very nice others pretend your not there . One of them we asked for tea and coffee and never saw her again did she leave the country to get it? Eggs would not touch didnt look nice at all at all rest of food lovely good job to the chefs but eggs needs to change . Staff at check in Ok many have said rude but in having a sister in law from poland we understood when they talk its very stern and serious and can seem unfriendly now i am sure they are some rude ones but felt that staff are a little serious but did a good job . Parking something needs to be worked on as had to wait for parking space.otherwise enjoyed it :)

The Hilton at Kilmainham was perfect for us as we were attending a party nearby. It's not city centre but not too far away, and lots of public transport but it is out a bit so bear this in mind but convenient to a lot of interesting places very well worth a visit - Kilmainham Prison - Kilmainham Hosptial Art Museum and the Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo. It was good value for money for a weekend in Dublin

I stayed in room 509 which is on the top floor and is beside a plant room which makes noise constantly. The noise feeds back into the room through the ventialtion system and it sounds like a very noisy fridge working constantly. I found it impossible to sleep through the night.

I found reception unhelpful and rude and was very disappointed with my stay not only were there crisps all over the floor outside the lifts the curtains in my room were dirty and overall was hugely disappointed with my stay i have often stayed in three star hotels with a better attitude and sense of pride in their premises

The hotel is nice for the money. Comfortable beds, it has a pool, the staff is nice. But it is a little far from the city center so if that is what you are wanting just keep that in mind.

The Hilton Great Getaway was extremely good value for money. You get a good breakfast along with Hilton's traditional standards. Only fault I had was regarding the inadequacy of the a/c in the hotel room. It seems to be a problem and our friends staying in another room also had issues with their a/c. Other than than, brilliant!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and were quick to try and solve any problems we had. Unfortunately we had an issue with air conditioning in our room, and the portable air conditioner they brought in made our room into a rainforest and made it impossible to sleep well. The location was a bit far away from downtown, but not too far away from public transport, and was also very close to the Kilmainham Gaol. The pool was fantastic, and by far the best part of our stay. Overall an ok stay.

This hotel does not live up to the standards that usually characterize a little more expensive hotels. Service at reception is mediocre, the location too far from downtown. Airconditon did not work in any of the three rooms we had and they failed to repair it. The food served in the restaurant was far below average and the service was poor.

The hotel was great, clean and roomy but well off the beaten track such that you had a 30 minute walk to town, or needed a cab. Get your walking shoes as cabs are expensive.

it was a super hotel - a bit out of the city center, but close to the jail and the museum of fine arts. we enjoyed our stay and relaxed in the nice hot tub, steam room and relaxation pools. the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. we enjoyed our stay :)

Great location, well appointed but waiting and night staff not at all helpful and careless particularly when taking orders. Water in bath either scalding or very scalding with no help available upon request. Dangerous.

This Hilton in enormous need of updating. Internet required daily changing of login and password. Wifi did not always work. Front desk staff rather reluctant to be of help; understaffed. Lobby floor dirty. Food not good. Location remote from tourist sights.

Fantastic hotel and great value for the money. The location is perfect for the tourist attractions and only a short taxi ride or bus ride away from the main centre. t was about €30 from the airport and €10 from the centre in a taxi (there were 6 of us sharing so the cost was not a problem). The rooms were clean and the breakfast was the highlight of my day - it was the best I've had in any hotel and all included in the price. The hotel has it's own taxi hire man called Brian, he is teriffic and a credit to the hotel, he's got a 6 seater merc and ran us where we wanted to go. We called ahead and arranged for him to get us from the airport.

Normally we always travel trying not to spend too much in hotels due to the lack of time that we spend there. However in this case I have to said that it was totally wrought it. The service, pool and breakfast were just outstanding. We have to said also that we were struggling with the battery of our camera and the lady front the desk was totally helpful , she lend us an electric adapter that just save our holidays. The location of the hotel it is also quite good it is not directly in the center of the city however there is a bus every 20 minutes that take you there. We recommend you to buy the three day bus ticket in the airport it save you plenty of money in the transport as well as include you the ride from the airport to a train station near the hotel. If we go again to Dublin we will definitely stay in this hotel!! So far the best relation between USD/hotel quality that i have found..

This was my first time in a Hilton hotel. I looked forward to staying with you as we were up for Rugby match in the Aviva stadium - and were frozen - hence the need for a hot Port. My son and daughter told us to book into your hotel as they are living close by.

Hotel was booked at the last minute. Location is perfect & serviced with bus routes and Luas to city centre. Taxi late from city was approx. €6.50. Rooms were well equipped and beds very comfortable. Very clean, spacious and bright. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great value for a hotel so near to all attractions. Will definitely stay here again. There is a charge for overnight parking but reasonable.

The most outstanding feature of this hotel was the friendly and attentive service by virtually all the staff we came into contact with. We commented often on how refreshingly professional everyone was, from the front desk, to the hotel bar/restaurant, to the cleaners. Our stay in Dublin was truly enhanced by the staff at the hotel.

My wife and I booked the hotel based on the online reviews and were not disappointed. From the reviews, we knew that the hotel was a fair distance from downtown Dublin, though the Guinness Storehouse acted as a reprieve and allowed us to "fuel up" for the rest of the walk. We found the hotel staff to be courteous and organized and our room was spacious and clean. The pool provided a nice way to unwind after a day of tourist activities, while the buffet breakfast the next morning got us ready for another day. My only criticism, and it's a small one, pertains to the quality/quantity of television channels. I was hoping to watch some PGA Championship golf coverage at night, but it was not available on the channels provided in the room. In a city where everything seemed expensive, the Hilton Dublin Kilmainham stood out as being incredible value, especially since we were able to book a rate that included the buffet breakfast.

Lovely stay rooms great breakfast was good Although drinks prices were expensive in the bar they were on a par with drinks prices throughout Dublin and therefore for a hotel are very reasonable Great pool and gym facilities

The Hilton Kilmainham was absolutely gorgeous. The beds were soooo comfortable, you just sink into them. Would definatlely stay here again, location was great. I don't usually go swimming in hotels but this pool was unreal, make sure you bring a swimsuit. Nothing negative to say here at all, loved it!!!!

Stayed with my wife for our anniversary. We needed a little break and this was the perfect spot. Close to everything just what you need. Staff were very helpful especially the receptionist (can't remember his name But the wife said he was good looking).

Check in time was 15:00 and we arrived at 16:00. We were still waiting for a room at 18:00. The hotel let us use here leisure facility to freshen up but this was a poor attempt. the food was poor enough in spots(the breakfast was good )

We arrived in the hotel at 3.10pm and did not get a room until 5.15.Is this a ploy to get you to spend a few euro in the bar ???

My son and I booked in for a pop concert. Hotel is spotless as are the rooms, beds beautifully clean and comfy, probably the best hotel I have stayed in. Staff were brilliant ,helpful and polite. Nothing was a bother and when we left 4.00am for an early flight home, breakfast was prepared for us in the foyer with toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc. The receptionist even sorted the taxi out when he had to wait for us for 10 mins and we didn't pay extra waiting time. This hotel is the best. Definately would stay again, didn't want to leave!

The hotel was very accomodating and checked us in immediately upon arrival - and our flight got in at 8 am local time (I thought this was wonderful!). We were tired from our overnight flight and went straight to sleep. It was an important trip as this was a mother-daughter trip to Europe (Mom's first trip to Ireland). Our room turned out to have no air conditioning and Ireland was unseasonably warm. The next morning we asked at the front desk for help with the room and after a bit of difficulty with clerk, the manager came to our assistance. He moved us to an upgraded room, ensured the A/C was working, provided us with a balcony, robes, and fruit and water for our incovenience. Also, the hotel is ideally located across from Kilmainham Gaol which just happens to be on the double decker bus route as well as supported by a never-ending queue of taxis. Heuston Station is within walking distance - though I suggest a taxi due to traffic whizzing by. What else? The pool and spa at the Hilton Kilmainham is wonderfully relaxing. The staff at the gym/spa are helpful and friendly. For a nice nightcap and chat with the locals, walk across the street to the Patriot's Pub - good grub and great chats. When next I travel to Dublin, I'll happily stay at the Hilton Kilmainham.

Väldigt fräscht hotell, trevlig personal, välstädat rum och utrymmen. Frukosten va riktigt bra. Vistelsen kändes lyxig. Lite långt in till centrum men en trevlig promenad om vädret tillåtet. Närhet till många sevärdheter, speciellt kilmainham gaol precis utanför entrén med bra guidad tur och intressant historia. Åker gärna tillbaka till detta hotell!

Séjour fin d'année 2011 Personnel agréable, chambre propre et claire, coupe de champagne gratuite pour le passage au nouvel an, beau spa Beaucoup de plus mais dommage que l'hotel soit un peu loin du centre ville.
