The only minus in the hotel room was that the phone was not next to bed, but on the table.It was impossible to move it because there was no jack next to bed

Always a good value, always maintained at the best quality. Love the free airport shuttle service.

I opted to stay here as I had an early flight out of Frankfurt. The hotel itself is very low budget (in fact the elevator broke down while I was using it!). The rooms are relatively comfortable and the hotel is clean. The location was terrible. I thought it would be much closer to the airport than it was. I got off at the Frankfurt train station and ended up having to take a taxi to the hotel which cost 13 euro. In retrospect, I would have rather spent a little more and stayed at the Sheraton, which is literally attached to the airport/train station. There is NOTHING around this hotel, so you are virtually trapped with no where to eat but the hotel restaurant. I would not recommend this hotel based on the location alone.

Have always stayed here, it is even better now then in years past. Kelsterbach is a nice town just a walk away , river walk also.

Wonderful, clean hotel. Great service and nice restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that there are no restaurants or shopping close by. This hotel is kind of in an industrial area. If you are just staying here for a night before a flight it's absolutely perfect. The shuttle arrived on-time and took us to the airport.

Good hotel for airport layver, clean and the shutle bus is ok but runs to a set timetable that can be an hour between runs, so ceck with hotel if this is an issue. Food in hotel is very good

Perfect for overnight stay before an early flight. Great staff at front desk+bar/lounge. Very accomodating to our family. Shuttle DOES drop you at front of hotel, NOT 150 feet away, as previously reported. Would definitely stay again!

Helpful front desk staff, great rooms, nice place

Kind of a circuitous (hence long for the distance) ride from the airport. Bus only comes once every 30 mins. and I saw every other hotel's van twice (but it is free). Stops about a block from the hotel at a bus stand. In the pouring rain when I left this was a drag (as the stand was full). Hotel is basic mid-grade off-site airport fare. Room was basic, but nice bath. Had a bit of an odd odor. I needed to work and did it in the lobby vs. the room as it just wasn't very hospitable. Very nice staff though. This is a business traveler place and as such not great value. Might be better to drop down to one of the cheaper options. Too bad the in-airport hotel is so expensive.

this was a convenient hotel by the airport. they have a free shuttle. the people at the reception desk were very helpful. there is a resturant onsite but we didn't eat there. There a market close by that you can purchase food items and they take credit card so you don't have to exchange money if you are just staying overnight. The only drawback is the shuttle will drop you off about 200 yards away from the front door. Overall, for the money you pay this is an excellent place to stay.

Picked this hotel due to the airport shuttle. Shuttle location was easy to find and ran frequently. Room was comfy and plenty for what I needed. Didn't try the restaurant. Bed was comfy and staff was helpful.

Friendly service, clean room, great food

Very pleasant place to stay with a restaurant in house.

A good choice for the traveler catching an early flight at Frankfurt airport. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was open late. The free shuttle to and from the airport was convenient. For the price, the hotel exceeded all expectations.

Could you check your wake up system. Since this is an airport hotel it is vital that it is working. We did not get our 4 am wake up call and almost slept through. Is it possible for the shuttle to drop people at the door since there are bags to haul and should the weather turn cold could be an unpleasant trek up the driveway. Thanks.

Used this hotel as a place to adjust to time change after SFO to Frankfurt flight. Shuttle was easy to find and nice to have. The stop for the shuttle at the hotel is about 100 yards from the entrance weird but no big deal. There is nothing really to see around the hotel, in industrial zone, but the place is clean and has a pricey but very good restaurant. We spent more on food and drinks than we did on the room, but the food was great for dinner. Breakfast looked extensive, but was expensive at over 15 euro a person, but was a large buffet. We took the shuttle to the airport and found something less expensive there. Great value, if you are looking for a place near the airport.

I spent the night at this hotel with my family while awaiting a long-haul flight and found it perfect for my purpose. We got a clean, quiet room and the staff was very friendly. I had forgotten some medication in the minibar and the staff sent it to the airport with their driver: not service you'd get anywhere. Would stay there again.

I stayed overnight at the Mercure after a trip to Italy as I had a flight out of Frankfurt airport the following day. This is a relatively modern, clean and quiet hotel which I have stayed at previously. The staff very friendly and helpful and my room was clean and well appointed. I ate at the hotel restaurant relatively late due to my late arrival but the meal was excellent, although a little pricey. I passed on breakfast as this seemed too expensive. There is a complementary shuttle between the airport and hotel that runs twice an hour and is very convenient. The only negative is the hotel location is some distance from the airport and takes 15-20 mins by the shuttle. Furthermore, the shuttle drop off for the hotel is about 200 metres from reception which normally is okay but can be a nuisance if is raining as it was the evening I arrived.

Stayed for just a few hours, used to get some sleep while waiting for connecting flight. 10mins from Terminal 1 via free bus service. Clean room, comfortable bed. One thing to mention - the restaurant is very expensive.

My only complain would be the long walk to and from the bus. Being an older person I found it very inconvenient to walk so far in the rain to come and go from the bus. The service otherwise was excellent. Thank you

It is very close to airport if you only need an overnight stay. I wouldn't recommend it if you like to walk around the area for restaurants or shops as it is in an industrial area.

This is a nice hotel to stay if you're travelling in and out of the Frankfurt Int. Airport. They have a shuttle bus that will pick you aup and deliver back to the airport. The hotel overall is a very good value for the price. The food and service at its restaurant is excellent.

We have stayed here several times when we have early flights from FRA. Well maintained and comfortable, with an excellent restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel

Our flight was delayed and we arrived close to 10pm, do not know the airport or town, the airport staff directed us to the area where shuttle buses are departing for different hotels, even we do not speak German we were able to figure out when will be the next bus for Mercure hotel and the buses operate until late hours.Staff at the hotel is very friendly and all the facilities including room are very well kept and clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom very nice.The restaurant was already closed but they have lounge open late where we got snacks and drinks.Overall very good experience.

VERY NICE HOTEL. THE MATTRESS WAS NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS HOPED.WE BOTH WOKE UP WITH A BACK ACHE.BUT NO OTHER COMPLAINTS AT ALL. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN.

Very comfortable hotel with a good free transfer service to and from the airport (10 mins). Good swimming pool, sauna etc. Good restaurant with reasonable prices.

Hotel is not far from airport. free shuttle as afvertised. pool was nice for relaxing, kids loved it. There is also an Italian restaurant near by. For 30 Euros, we had a big plate of pasta, two big seafood pizzas and a big bowl of salad, plus Soda.

I missed the courtesy bus by one minute so waited another 29. The bus leaves you at the end of the hotel drive which as it was raining was a 100m dash! The staff were very pleasant. Room service menu was limited, although the bar menu was adequate. Both the bar and restaurant were pleasant. The rooms were clean, comfortable with a good size bed, which after a long day was most welcome. Great value hotel.

I had to stay in Frankfurt for 2 nights to do business near the airport and didn't want to stay in the city. This hotel worked out just fine to be near both the airport and my place of business. The rooms are clean and reasonably well appointed, the staff quite friendly and happy to speak English (I cannot speak German) and the bar has a good range of drinks and snacks if you have some down time. I didn't try their 'New York' restaurant - the menu didn't appeal and seemed expensive for what it was. It's about EUR12-15 in a cab to/from the hotel and they offer a free shuttle bus which varies between every 30-60 mins depending on the time of day as an alternative. The bus takes approx 15min to go to/from the airport provided this hotel is the only stop (sometimes they go to another hotel as well). Overall though, for the money and the convenience, this hotel does the job and I'd stay here again in similar circumstances.

The hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast (at an extra charge) delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I found it difficult to use the hotel shuttle. It only goes to Terminal 1 requiring another bus ride when we arrived at another terminal. It would have been more convenient if the shuttle would stop at both. It also ran at a slightly different time than posted in the hotel causing us to miss it in the morning. The hotel did not seem near the airport as the ride was longer than I expected. The name was deceiving.

The hotel is a gem. We stayed one night. We arrived at Terminal 2, and the shuttle only goes from Terminal 1, so took a taxi instead. Check-in was quick, room was spotlessly clean and large. Breakfast was too expensive and there is not much close-by, but this is an excellent value hotel that we would gladly return to.

Hotel was greatly overrated: elevator did not work, room was dirty, lots of noise in the room over night, unfriendly personnel and high prices. There are lots of better hotels in the area around FRA. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Hotel staff were helpfu. It was on bus route that serviced other hotels as well. It was located in a commercial areaq without easy access to other shops or dining. The shower was a little small for my 6'4" frame.
