No complaints, worked perfectly - and the food was surprisingly good.

Nice rooms, good service. The staff was very professional.The location is ok. You can walk to the airport and car rental lots in a few minutes. The exercise room is small with a 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical trainer and 1 recombinent bike. The treadmill was broken the entire time. You can take the metro into Athens, 14 euro's roundtrip for 2 people. It takes about 45 minutes to the city center.

This comfortable hotel directly across the street from the Athens Airport was the best idea we have had in a while. Long flights and a lot of travel made us appreciate falling into bed the night before another leg of our journey. Very comfortable beds, quiet room and professional staff. For us it was well worth the price and made our travel day(s) much better!

The bed is top quality. The bathroom is exceptional, with separate toilet room, separate shower from bathtub. Good speed for the free Internet - no need to upgrade to higher speed. I lost my wallet with my IDs and credit cards and they found it and returned it to me next day via courier mail in NY - it shows professionalism and honesty on behalf of the personnel many thanks. It is an airport hotel, nothing else around. Expensive.

This was a haven of comfort during a long travel period, I will never forget sinking into the bed after being so exhausted! Pure bliss! I am glad that I sprang the extra dollars for this hotel during our travel-it was a luxury that was well worth it. Comfortable and next door to the airport-perfect with close connections overnight or early morning. Professional staff and lovely hotel.

The hotel is located at the exit 3 of the airport. The room is clean and well maintained. The toilet and the bath is in separate rooms.

A well managed hotel - the ultimate convenience to walk across the street to the Athens airport, especially if you have an early flight. This is not a destination hotel.

Just if you are catching a flight the next morning, or you won't stay in this hotel. Too remote from city centre. no Breakfast included.

Ridiculous menu....good thing the airport is 50m away.

Nice hotel room and close location to airport. The pool environment is very nice but the pool was not friendly to kids at all since the water depth is too high.

We spent 18 hours traveling and so the convienient location of this hotel was a God-send. Maybe it was the immense fatigue but the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was nice as well. You must get the Greek TV dinner. We made the mistake of getting something else on top of that, but that dinner will more than satisfy, especially the moussaka. Best I've ever had.

Great place and I would have given it 5 stars, however they claim to have free wifi and they do. It's just crippled to only 256K. I found this very misleading.

The surrounding neighborhood is an airport and an IKEA, not really fair to rate it. Have stayed here many times. Always comfortable, friendly staff and nothing beats walking across the street to catch a 7a.m. flight.They need to do some refurbishment. The rugs and woodwork are looking worn and banged up.

I chose this hotel because it is just across the street from airlines check in and its great. However, thisisa high in spa with all the trimmings. It is not cheap, but for a splurge Iwould recommend it, just make sure you are there to enjoy the amenities that they offer. I did not use the spa facilities as my time was limited, but I could definitely see the potential if you want to allow yourself to be pampered the day before you fly out of Athens.

This is a great hotel for a late arriving and early morning departure flight. It was very easy to find and the staff was amazing. I would surelly stay here again next time i am in Athens.

This hotel is way overpriced because it has a monopoly at the airport. The next closest to the airport is about 8km away. It is nice, but not as nice as one would expect. The restaurants are also way over priced although we didn't try them - went across to eat in the airport instead. If you have time to get to the airport for your flight, don't stay here unless value for money is not important to you.

The entrance to the hotel was impressive, but when you get up to the hallways where the rooms are, it is not so nice. The room was nice but not cleaned properly. The carpet was dusty around the edges and corners. The bathroom however, was spectacular and so was the bed. Having stayed in the Sofitel in Beverly Hills, I must say that this was comparably disappointing.

The hotel is very quiet and very conveniently located. Nice gym and facilities. However, the price of foods, especially the breakfast, is ridiculously expensive (6 euros for a glass of orange juice, 5 for a bowl of yogourt, etc.)

I was so ready to settle into the Sofitel after experiencing a 3 hour flight delay into Athens because the airport was on strike. To be able to simply walk across the street both arriving and departing was priceless. I was greeted warmly; my very comfy (soft) bed awaited.

OK, so its a airport hotel, an expensive one at that, the basics it should provide is a fast check-in process and maybe a smile whilst i spend my cash ? Nope to both counts. But has there is no option if you want to avoid a cab for your early morning flight.

If you are stuck at the athens sirport it is great but if u have a choice don't go

The hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. If you have to stay by the airport for a night, this is a good option...in fact, it's about your only option. Just walk out of the arrivals area of the airport and cross the street. That said, it's pretty expensive unless you factor in that a round trip cab fare to central Athens is 80 Euros, and it takes about an 45-50 minutes in traffic each way. You can also take the metro train to central Athens for 7 or 8 Euros each way.

Loved this hotel! We booked here because we had a mid morning international flight back to the states and had just flown in from Mykonos. What a great decision, the hotel is literally just outside the airport front doors. We had a beautiful and delicious meal in the restaurat and then a luxurious sleep in one of their executive level rooms. We booked online at a special rate and didn't expect such luxurious accomodations. I would have loved to have stayed here longer just to enjoy the amenities. Lovely hotel!

Upgraded to executive as "guest of the day" so treated extremely well. Best shower perhaps in all of Europe and comfortable bed. Location could not be any easier to airport which is exactly what we needed. Would stay here again!

Sofitel always does a good job and this is no exception. Good service and comfortable, my only reservation is that it is expensive for staying at the airport (unattractive exterior), but there is no other choice. The food is too expensive. I love Greek food but after 3 weeks in Greece and only eating Greek, I was looking forward to a change and love French food, but the French restaurant was way too expensive and even the other restaurant with Greek food was really expensive. But again, there are no other choices.and the hotel itself is great with excellent soundproofing and excellent service!!!.

For people needing a place to stay after late arrival or close to airport before departure, this is a perfect choice. Helpful staff and service, clean comfortable accommodations. Restaurants are expensive but meals and especially service were good.

... specially if you stay just one night to get the flight early next day. Just over the street to departure. Bar with piano was very enjoyable. Friendly stuff. Quiet room. This was my second visit; I will come back again.

Our room at the Sofitel was perfect as was the service. The bed and pillows were heaven and you certainly can not beat this location, especially since we had an early morning flight out!

Nice hotel, rooms a bit dusty, lack of minor room maintenance particularly in woodwork and bathroom. Excellent service at reception with mutli-lingual staff, very fast elevators and great restaurant.

Wife and I had an early flight back to the States and wanted to cut out the commute time from Athens to the airport, so we chose to stay at the Athens Airport Sofitel. It literally couldn't be any closer to the terminal (a one minute walk). Perfect for those that don't want to waste time in traffic going to the airport for an early morning flight. The lobby and room was extremely nice. The room was modern and spacious, especially by European standards. The only detraction was a smell throughout the hallway of our floor (9), basically a strong stale smell....thankfully it did not extend into the room. This in no way would prevent us from staying at this hotel again....I would highly recommend it!!

For one-night layovers, this place is heaven sent! Loved crossing the street from terminal into my room basically!

We arrived late to Athens and the Sofitel is within walking distance of the airport. Great location and the restaurant had the best sea bass I have ever eaten. Great Hotel --

This is a great airport hotel to use if you are arriving or departing from Athens Airport. It is only steps away from the terminal, but still quiet and has great facilities for an airport hotel. The bathroom in my room was fantastic with a comfortable shower and bath. The bed was large and super comfy. Overall, it was a great experience but there were two disappointments. First, the internet connection was very slow. Also, I decided to treat myself to a a spa treatment - it was way overpriced, overpromised, and under delivered. Give the spa a miss.

I thought it was going to be just another airport hotel but when we walked into the lobby we were amazed by the richness of the lobby-sculptures-flowers-warm contemporary-greeted by polished and chic desk clerks-we were chosen as "guests of the week" so they upgraded us to the top floor and we had fruit and water waiting for us-and they gave us a free drink at the bar, complements of the house! We ordered glasses of champagne and they brought them out along with hors doevres....the drinks were 25 euros per glass!!!! We had a 4am flite-otherwise I would have loved to stay there longer!

Great idea if you've just come off your flight or need a night's rest before returning home. Prices are, of course, quite extraordinary but worth the top notch service. Fully enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is great ..we got upgraded to a better room and complimentary drink tickets to the bar. It was a great night. Very easy staying right across the street from the airport. I was able to check in my luggage then go back to the hotel for breakfast.

Had a wonderful nights rest at the Athens Airport Sofitel, just a few steps from the arrival area of the airport. Highly recommend.
