Friendly staff, great location, clean room, comfortable bed, free WiFi. Only real drawback is the room was very small.

Great location. Tiny rooms. Nice staff. Upgraded me to a King from a tiny Full-bed room with no extra charge. The King was livable but you can't move in the Full-bed room.

Very smooth check in, staff seemed very engaged. Room was tiny even at NYC standards but very clean , Starbucks next door was nice. The elevators were awful took forever otherwise no issues staying here again.

Friendly front desk. Hotel is tiny and narrow. The rooms are clean and bathrooms are spotless and semi new. The rooms are tiny, the window air conditioner is 2 feet from your head and the TV is Tiny mounted to the wall.

Hotel is in a great location! I liked the hotel with the exception of the blinds/curtains. They did not keep the light out so it was hard to sleep once the sun came up. Hotel staff was friendly and always there with help and recommendations for the area. Overall, this a a really nice place to stay.

Perfect location. Comfortable bed. Close to shopping and transportation.

The room was as expected. I felt that the location was fair considering it's around everything in the city. The service was excellent too - and friendly! It was quite small, but clean and I liked how there was a room air conditioner for heat or cold air. The shower was decent, along with the water pressure - though I didn't understand right away how to alter the knob to make it warmer. Good stay for just sleeping, not lounging. Great service, good location, good overall experience. The only con is that it's tight for two people (queen-sized).

Very clean, modern and comfortable room. Nice clean private bath and bed was comfortable. I highly recommend. Room was a little small but I was only there to sleep and it was perfect.

No frills but clean and convenient. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Great hotel. One of the cleanest I have ever experienced. Perfect location. Staff was warm and friendly. No big deal, but I just wish there was a bathtub. I will make a habit of staying there. Great deal for the money!

Had high expectations but experience ended up just being a nice stay, very little wow! Great space, clean..... but presented as a destination of the past rather than the future

The room had obviously not been vacuumed and the shower was weak, but other than that, the stay was nice.

This hotel is centrally located and in good condition. Rooms are clean and reasonably decorated. But you get what you pay for. The rooms are tiny and there is little storage, e.g. no closet. You have to be extremely organized to find places to put your belongings. Also, there are truly no amenities although the front desk staff are very cordial. They will order you a car for the airport. But that's about it. The Starbucks next door is their restaurant.

This European style hotel is well positioned between the East and West sides of NYC. It is only a few blocks from Penn Station and the Bolt bus drop-off making it extremely convenient to get to. The rooms are small, but outfitted with everything one needs including free WiFi and bottled water. The bathroom comes with a hair dryer, sundries, and new soap each day. The room was immaculate. There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel. The room is best to stay in for up to a few days-- there is no dresser and the closet is tiny (3 hangers). Still, for the money ($189/night) and location, it is a great value.

The location is convenient to much of Manhattan, but our room had clearly had a smoker in it and the smell was overwhelming. The staff didn't offer to do a thing about it. The beds are uncomfortable, and the pillows even worse! We would not stay there again.

Personnel, accommodations and location met the criteria for a lovely visit. For a hotel of this rating...outstanding!!!!

Great hotel but the room was very small. I would recommend staying here if you are planning to be out and about sightseeing, shopping or recovering from an overseas trip.

The location was great. Check-in and check-out were both easy. It had a Starbucks connected to the lobby.

Good value for the price. Rooms small - but fine for a few hours of sleep and free wifi. Amenities are nice.

This hotel is simple, small, and impeccably clean. The staff is outstandingly pleasant and helpful. It's a great find, particularly for those of us who despise chain hotels but are not coming to New York to stay at the Astor. I will definitely return.

Love this little hotel. Awesome, attentive staff. A great location for pretty much everything. My only complaint is the street noise is a little loud, BUT this is NYC!

I like this hotel. When I'm in NYC, all I need is a nice, clean place to sleep. This hotel offers just that. Sure the rooms might be a little small, BUT they are modern, clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff is personable and very helpful. This hotel is located about a block from the Empire State building, which is pretty neat. Located right on Fifth Ave makes it really easy to get around. You can walk to Times Square, Grand Central Station, Penn Station, etc. Highly recommend!

The only thing was room was small but everything else was great.

Great location for my business trip. Very clean, but tiny rooms. However, you don't go to NYC to spend a lot of time in your room (travel to NY quite frequently). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. And nice bathroom with a counter (very important to me). If you are the kind of traveler who unpacks immediately, this hotel is not for you - since you need to live out of your luggage (no drawers - just a few cubbyholes). I will definitely stay here again. Room, location, staff and price are a winning combination!

Very nice hotel right next to a Starbucks. The room was clean and new, but sleeping there was like sleeping in the midde of the street... We had a room with a view over the crossroad, and all night there was honking of horns, sirens and noise. The air condition unit was loud when it was on, and off it felt like the window was open. If you're able to sleep with ear plugs or are an easy sleeper, it's a good hotel for you.

Great place to stay in Manhattan. Great service and if u like Starbucks... Its on the ground floor. A hotel that maximizes its space... So it may feel a bit small and crowded to those that have stayed out in other 3 star hotels... But its rooms are def super clean and modern.

This hotel is like many New York offices and apartments very compact, perhaps smaller than what you'd expect elsewhere. However it is otherwise very nice, clean, and comfortable. And it is in a great location, equidistant between Grand Central and Penn Station.

Loved the location! The staff was helpful! Starbucks off the lobby was great! Room was nice but pillows were terrible! It is a great location for me when I do business in NYC. Great Indian food nearby.

Honestly, I booked the hotel because I got a great deal. It was a perfect location. The room is small (hey, it's New York City!), but very clean with nice amenities, and the staff was friendly. As someone who's got some familiarity with the city, I can tell you there's plenty to do and eat nearby. Not sure I would pay the full list price as long as there are deals out there to be found, but if you can get a deal and just need a nice, clean hotel room for a night or two, and don't need parking or lounges, I would use this hotel again.

For never being in NYC before, I think we really got lucky with this hotel, besides a small room(which I do not what normal room size for Manhatten is?) We thought our stay was great! Staff was very nice and helpful. Showed us how to get around, get a cab and made us feel comfortable.

Great location on fifth avenue. Short walk to Times Square. Free wifi is great. Small rooms but worth what you pay in New York.

As minimalist as it can get. Clean but small rooms, good beds, good location. 2nd visit and will go again

Was the cheapest 3+ star hotel south of 100th street. Room was small but totally clean, comfortable. Staff was friendly. Not the Waldorf, but the value was excellent. Would definitely stay there again if the price is right.
