Laguna Anjuna - انجونا

It is probably the nicest hotel in Anjuna. Great food, large AC rooms, lovely garden. It is 10 minutes walk to the beach so I hired a scooter!

This beautiful hotel contributed to a wonderful visit to Goa. They have an ECO-profile and very romantic rooms in historic 'small' buildings. The swimming pool is absolutely wonderful, and as one of the locals told me 'right now all of the children in Goa are learning to swim in this pool'. This results in many children by the pool, but it was never to crowded and my own four-year-old learned to swim while we were there. The service could do with some improvement. The staff was never forthcoming and misunderstood simple requests and often seemed enoyed when we confronted them. The restaurant and morning buffet were nothing out of the ordinary, but acceptable. It took about ten minutes to walk to the beach or downtown Anjuna , and the area was quite friendly. One does not visit Anjuna to go shopping. The internet was working better at Laguna Anjuna than anywhere else we visited in Goa. I would love to go back to Anjuna Laguna and would recommend it to anyone. My son's comment when we woke up the first morning was 'It is like living in the jungle'.

ONLY THE WATCHMAN RESPONDS WELL.SWEEPER LADY COMES IN THE MORNING AT THE TIME OF BREAKFAST AND SWEEPS THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF UR CONTINUING BREAKFAST. VERY IRRITATING. STAFF DOESNOT LISTEN THE COMPLAINT. I AM A DOCTOR AND TOURING FOR LAST 10 YEARS N NEVER SAW LIKE THIS.. SO BORING CONTENTS OF BREAKFAST,... ONE CORNFLAKE WORST QUALITY OF BREAD PAV( NOT SUITABLE FOR EVEN A DOG) ONLY ONE JUICE WHICH U MAY NOT LIKE ONE BHAZI SAME FRUITS AND ALL CONTINUED FOR THREE DAYS. ON COMPLAINTS THE STAFF SAYS THAT WE R NOT BORED BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT TO EAT... U HAVE TO EAT.. WHAT A REPLY,,,,, NICE.. THANK BECAUSE THEY COULDNOT CHANGE THE QUALITY OF BEER AND THE EGG. BAD LOCATION.WE REACHED THEREAT 8 AM AFTER TRAIN TRAVEL OF 17 HOURS, WE WERE ASKED TO WAIT IN SOCALLED RESTAURENT UPTO 11.30 TO GET THE ROOM. WE UNDERSTAND THE CHECKOUT POSITION BUT BUT BUT I WAS SHOCKED TO KNOW THAT THERE WAS A SMALL ROOM READY WHERE WE COULD HAVE RELAXED FOR TWO THREE HOURS WHICH WAS GIVEN TO US AFTER TWO HOURS OF REPEATED REQUESTS. WE THREE PERSONS FATIGUED FULLY PASSED OUR TWO HOURS WANDERING HERE AND THERE. SO DISGUSTING.... WE BOOKED TWO SUIT ROOMS. ONE WAS EXACTLY THE SUIT ROOM BUT ANOTHER WAS A SIMPLE ROOMS .. I THINK THIS IS NOT ONLY THE HOTEL BUILDING BUT THE AMBIENCE ANDTHE RESPONSE OF THE STAFF WHICH MAKES A TRAVELLER HAPPY. I PERSONALLY THINK THAT INDIANS R STILL NOT OUT OF SLAVERY OF THE WHITES. THIS VIEW DEVELOPED BECAUSE OF THE BEHAVIOUR. AFTER ALL MONEY IS VALUABLE. I DONOT KNOW WHAT THE OTHER PEOPLE LIKE THER .. A SWEEPING LADY INFRONT OF UR BREAFAST TABLE OR A CLUMSY CONTENTS OF BREAKFAST WHICH CAN BE IMPROVED IF THOGHT IN ANOTHERWAY..ROOF OF UR BEDROOM HAS A GLASS TILE WHICH I THINK A HOLE IN UR PERSONNEL WHEN OUTER IS DARK AND BEDROOM HAS IS LIGHTENED. VERY DEPRESSIN FLOORING.. RS 4000 IS NOT A SMALL AMT FOR ONE DAY.. IMPORTANT IS THIS CAN BE IMPROVED VERY WELL. TRADITIONALITY OF ROOM IS GOOD , AVAILABILITY OF RENTED VEHICLE IS GOOD . WATCHMAN IS GOOD... OVER ALL IT IS VERY DULL ANDDE

Laguna Anjuna was a beautiful,serene place.Its lush greenery,quiet ambience was inviting and rejuvinating.We had a lovely stay at this resort.Such a friendly,helpful and warm staff.Its lagoon styled pool is its most beautiful jewel.The rooms are big and comfortable.The price we payed was totaaly worth it.We loved the place and would recommend it for people who are looking for a date with nature,openness and solitude.If you want a clean resort/hotel looking ambienece than this is not the place.its like your own rest house,with music flowing in the background and u r siping ur tea reading your newspaper.The beach was a ten minute ride,the deaprtmental store was near by.There are restaurants near by,but the inhouse food was equally delicious!!

The hotel rooms were clean and large but very basic and quite dark. Mosquito nets were available but old (few holes) and dingy. Bedlinen was clean but smelled mouldy. Electrical sockets and light switches didn't look really safe. TV with lots of channels, also for kids. Breakfast was very basic. Lunch and dinner was OK and normal priced, serving was a bit slow, but probably all fresh made food. Wifi is free and quite fast. Swimming pool is nice, but not enough sun beds, some of them are almost broken, cushions are in bad condition. Free towels at the poolside, you are allowed to take them to the beach. The garden is nice (with flowers, palm- banana, mango and jackfruit trees) and well looked after, because of that (watering the plants daily), there are many mosquito's. There are also lots of crows. Small 'library'. The beach is a 10 minutes walk away: garbage along the road, very primitive housing, cows, new temple, grocery shops, internet cafe, nice church and tourist shops . All in all the hotel can use a refurbishing in the near future and maybe a better mosquito control program. I've had a nice stay, but next time I'll choose something newer with more luxury. That I need to pay much more than is self-evident.

Das Hotel ist aufgrund seines Designes etwas Besonderes. Die Zimmer vermitteln das Gefühl um 100 Jahre zurückversetzt zu sein. Man fühlt sich wie in einer Oase - insbesondere am Pool. Dafür ist die Zimmereinrichtung eher spatanisch und es kann durch die Umweltgeräusche relativ laut werden. Die Bilder vermitteln einen relativ guten Eindruck von der Anlage. Der Weg zum Stand ist lang und ohne Bike lästig.

2回目のanjuna beachの滞在でした。 前回のホテルともすぐの距離で☆の数 も多分同じですが 今回のLaguna Anjunaの圧勝です♪ 送迎TAXYやバイクの手配も正確でスムーズ。 迎えてくれたスタッフ達も、アットホームな 暖かさで、笑顔も印象的。 ここでよかった！ と、すぐに思える流れでした。 敷地内は美しく、そしてのびのびとした森の中 角が無い石造りのコテージは夢がアリ。入ると ひんやりとした心地のイイ落ち着く空間でした。 温水シャワーもばっちり。 バスタブも私の部屋にはあり 天窓からの太陽も月明かりも忘れられません。 それからプールサイドにあるリクライニングシート 別に豪華な椅子では無く、普通のメッシュ素材ですが絶妙なリラックス感が私は大好きです 是非味わってみて下さい。 随所で癒された今回の滞在と なりました。 そしてまた次のシーズンにココに来ようと 決めさせる 心に残るホテルでした。

Our first impression of this hotel and our room was wow. The hotel is located in what seems to be in the middle of the forest and is surrounded by trees and animals (nothing scary!). So we were falling asleep to the sound of the animals outside under a mosqito net. (No problems with mosquitos during the night due to net and repellant oil inside the room). Very spacious and nice room and they sort of seem to fit its surroundings. A nice swimmingpool and a great restaurant (we couldn't really find any really good restaurants in this area so our hotell restaurant was the best for us).
