Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort - كاندوليم

A good resort with excellent hospitality. Lot of eateries near by with plenty of different eating options. ATM just a stone throw away with 2 super markets at walking distance.

Excellent accommodation and cleanliness was too good. We really pleased with the Staff for there friendlyness and the food was really admirable. Overall it was very pleasant stay and it was convenient for beaches as well. Whole family felt that it is “Value for Money”. Because of this, we want to visit again and at the same time recommended for almost 4 to 5 families to visit. Thanks once again and it was memorable holidays.

We were very happy with this Hotel services. Efficient and courteous staff with one of the best housekeeping services we have come across. Rooms and surroundings are clean. Hotel location is also very convinient with beach and market within short walking distance. Beach at the back of the hotel is clean and lovely. Overall - strongly reccomend.

I moved from a cheaper hotel to Lemon Tree and I am glad I did. The hotel provided an oasis from the heat in Goa, Don't know what people do in the small family hotels - like the one I first selected. Service was great (as it is in India.) The hotels in India tend to add extra charges for every taxi they arrange - as high as 25% - no reason for that.

this hotel was very nice, the rooms were very clean with a fresh scent, the grounds and pool were well kept, hotel is well situated, ATM close by as well as lots of shops, however, long walk to beach through very hot sand and persistent vendors..the unlimited use of computers in business center was greatly appreciated, reception staff friendly and helpful.

After a hectic and sleep deprived stay in Mumbai, my friends and I planned to visit Goa to unwind and relax. The Lemontree definitely came through on that end, and the staff was accomodating. Between the pool bar, the phenomenal restaurant (RoN) on site, and the close proximity to the beach, this place came through for us. The rooms were ok, but we didnt have the best spot so I'm sure there are rooms in better spots, as we were in the courtyard. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was perfectly fine. We had stayed at the Trident in Mumbai previously, and there was little drop in quality in terms of food quality for breakfast. My only complaint is the location in relationship to the more populated areas in the north and the interesting sightseeing available in the interior of Goa. But, everything is just a cab ride away and if you dont need the clubs of Baga, night market of Arpora, or the spice farms of Ponda, this is a great place to unwind. We just took a taxi at night, and to be honest, that was fine. One of the better experiences we had on our whole trip was the day long sightseeing trip the hotel arranged using their vehicle and driver. We cruised around Goa in the comfort of AC with a great driver and really got to see some great sights. I would highly recommend doing this. Just talk to the front desk. All in all, I'm very happy we stayed here, and I could see how this could be a good place for friends, family, or business.

Would highly recommend this establishement, my experience was fantastic from start to finish and I was sad to leave. Very professional and friendly setup and beautifully maintained. Decor very unique and special, brllant choice of breakfast and opening hours of 0700-1200 great for late starters. Good value for money. Wonderful experience, thank you.

The quality of hotel was very good. The Garden aspect of the garden room leaves a lot to be desired but the room was very good. Could benefit from making Wi-Fi free to paying guests instead of the limited free access.

This hotel is very good value for money. Close to beach, which is clean n peaceful and lot of eating places in the neighbourhood. Very good staff. I was happy to see the spread in Breakfast n they changes menu every day, which was pleasant to see. Have good restaurant in the hotel itself.

Located on the main road...cant be called "Beach Resort" since is far from the beach (almost 500-600mt) and hasn't even facilities for the beach! To reach the the beach need to cross narrow streets in the middle of barracks and garbage.

It was my first experience with Lemon Tree and it was a good one. The hotel staff is great. It's location makes it accessible to all the places to visit in Goa. Candolim beach has just the right amount of tourist and peace at the same time. The chef in the hotel is really good. The food was great. I would definitely visit again

it was a memorable stay at the said hotel all was good the ambience the food specially the staff was so co-operative and friendly. i would like to suggest everybody to visit this hotel.

We stayed here for 6-days and really enjoyed our stay. The resort is really clean and very nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Plus we ate at the Citrus cafe most nights and had the buffet there that starts at 7:30. The Assistant Manager Mr. Rafiq and the staff were all very friendly and made our stay wonderful. The DVDs to check out and watch in our room was great. The rooms are large and spacious and the service is just wonderful. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

Close to great beach and lots of bars, restaurants and shops; one hour from airport.

Breakfasts to die for, really friendly staff and a great library and DVD collection to borrow from. This hotel is well worth a visit. 50m from the beach, fabulous pool (but beware its only 4ft deep all round) and spa on site, the Lemon Tree Amarante is an oasis in Candolim.

Overall a comfortable & relaxing stay if going as a couple or with friends. Children activities are lacking if going with the family. Excellent location

After having read the encouraging reviews about this hotel, my personal experience was quite disappointing. To start off with the check in process was not smooth. We arrived at 10.00 am and were rudely informed by the check in agent (who also happened to be the Duty Manager) that we cannot check in before 1.30 pm. She lacked warmth and told us that we can sit near the pool for the next 4 hours and wait for the room. However later we discovered that our room was lying vacant since early morning. Also even before we could check in the agent mentioned that if we want to have breakfast while waiting for the pool we need to pay up X amount, if we check out late (after 12 noon) we need to pay Y amount.........nothing wrong in what she said but it was quite out of place as we had not even checked into the hotel and nor did we ever enquire or ask about the rates. Finally once we were allotted the room we were shocked to find that the Air Conditioner was not working. Someone came and fixed it around 5 pm. Our ordeal continued well into the night when we again could not switch on the AC. The maintenance staff informed us that the AC was faulty and that every time the AC was switched off it the circuit was breaking and the unit had to be opened and started manually. We were allotted a different room at 3.00 am at night and instead of having a peaceful sleep we had to shift our luggage in the middle of the night. Also the next day we asked for dettol and were were informed that there is no antiseptic available in the hotel................ quite surprising for a 4 star hotel! As for the location, there's nothing to write home about. Its 500 metres from Candolim beach, however the approach to the beach is quite shady. We were advised by people near the hotel not to venture near the beach after sunset. Also the stretch between the hotel and Calengute/ Baga beaches gut’s quite lonely at night. Breakfast spread was good and taxis/ bike rentals are available right outside the hotel.

We stayed at Lemontree for 4 nights during September 2010. It wasn't tourist season so alot of the shops and restaurants in the area were closed until October. However, we had a pleasant and relaxing stay. The hotel spa provided some great foot massages! The food was excellent and I would highly recommend Republic of Noodles - we had many great meals there. Staff was friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. The pool area and surround were lovely, very lush and green as monsoon had just finished. The hotel is within walking distance to other towns/beaches and very close walk to Candolim beach, a lovely spot to be at sunset. We were 2 friends (female) travelling along and felt very confortable within the hotel and the area in general. This place was recommended by a friend, I would definately stay there again.

Lemon Tree, Goa - a perfect getaway Location: The location of the hotel is just right, walking distance from Candolim beach, away from the hustle and bustle of Baga but close enough to get there in 10 on a bike. Look and Feel: The hotel is done up beautifully with plenty of trees all around thus creating a very quiet and pleasant feel. The pool is clean and decently sized. For those who can’t keep away from the booze there is a poolside bar which is open thru the day. Rooms: The rooms are average with basic amenities of a four star property. (has a tub). Need some maintenance. Food: Goa is a place to hit the shacks. However, the complimentary breakfast is quite elaborate. It’s worth trying a meal at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel. Spa: If you are a massage person then don’t think twice about taking the aroma therapy massage Rentals: Cars, bikes all available just outside the hotel All in all, a great experience. Definitely up there on my list. Highly recommended

レストランやお土産物屋が並ぶ通りにあり、近くの手軽な店で昼食・夕食をとるには便利。 それでいてホテル室内は静か。 朝食も比較的充実している。 一番近いビーチまで徒歩５分程度。 ホテルのプールでもビーチでも遊べる。 全体的にこじんまりした低層階のホテルだが可不足なく、滞在は楽しめた。 ホテルの斜め向かいに飲み物や雑貨を買えるコンビニのような商店があり便利。

Vi hade inte en varm dusj på 5 dagar, troats åtskilliga påpekanden under vistelsern kunde man inte ordan detta. Sen när vi skulle checka ut bad vi kvällen innan om att få late ceck out, och det fick vi mot en mindre kostnad som vi accepterade. Dagen efter när vi kom tillbaka till hotellet vid 12,00 hade de jagat livet ur sig för att få tag på mig då det var check out kl. 11,00. Jag talade då om att jag blivit lovad sen utcheck, men de kunde få till det p.g.a fullt hotell, och de hade inga noteringar om detta i datan att jag blivit lovad detta. Jag sade till dom att lösa problemet. De ringde sen tillbaka och sade det gick. Sen gick det 10 minuter så ringde en annan person och bad mig checka ut, men jag informerade att detta var ju löst för 10 minuter sen. Efter ytterligare en kall dusj, så ringde en 3:e person och bad mig checka snarast, men då sade vi ifrån igen att de får prata med varandra, sen hörde vi inget mer om detta, och inga förklingar eller ursäkter vid utcheck. Vi beställde vid ett tillfälle 2 öl i restaurnagen som jag ville ta med till rummet, men de ville ju själva lämna de på rummet så jag gick in på rummet och väntade, och väntar än idag på dessa öl. Jag stack ut huvudet ett flertal gånger för att se om de var på väg eller hade mycket att göra, men de stod alla 7 servitörerna och tittade på TV. Skall man försöka hålla 4-5 stjärnor och dessutom ta betalt för det måste det fungera bra mycket bättre än så här.
