Hotel Conca Park - سورينتو

Beds are very bad. Rooms are pretty old and broken down, chipped tile, broken doors. Hallways are tile, so you hear EVERYTHING, all night long, and the front doors are hollow so they slam loudly. Shower is so tiny that you a full size man can hardly fit. Definately not 4 stars, 2.5 max. Wifi hardly works, even when you pay in the room and was broken for 2 out of 5 days (and they don't even have a tech to fix it). Service--no clue.

great location, able to walk everywhere from hotel. Breakfast buffet good, would make omlets and scrambled eggs and replenish items as needed. Had 2 rooms, 1 recently updated and 1 in need of update.Paid extra for balcony with sea view and worth it, gave room extra light and overlooked the pool and could see the harbour and cruise ships. The other room had a view of the rock ledge and made the room dark. Very long walkway to lobby level but could call for a ride in cart if needed, something someone who had difficulty walking would need.

We enjoyed staying at the Hotel Conca Park however the only draw back would be their catering to large tour groups. Due to this the travelers not with a group are a bit forgotten. Each morning we went to breakfast and had difficulty finding available seating due to the tour groups and one night we decided to have dinner. The Host told us we were only able to eat from the "Welcome Buffet". We informed him we were not part of the group and wished to see a menu. After much discussion we were finally shown to a table and provided menus. After signaling that we would like to order our order was taken after approximately 30 minutes. When our food arrived after nearly another 30 minutes the veal was extremely greasy and cold as were my potatoes which I believe were taken off the buffet. My husband's meal was also cold. We complained to the host with no positive response. The meal was not inexpensive either and I would recommend if you are not part of a tour group , skip the meals at the hotel restaurant.

Conca Park is more a superior 3-star than a 4-star hotel. An unimpressive off-street entrance looks like a no star reception but is in fact the kick off for a 150m. uphill trek through an attractive tunnel with windows advertising local shops and their products to an even more impressive reception area. A golf buggy service exists to receive and transport guests in comfort but it is not always there. One our first day we made 4 return journeys through the tunnel without seeing a staff member or buggy. This was not the norm but did happen sometimes. Check-in was efficient but staff there never volunteered information either about the hotel or town without being asked. And no hotel and district booklet is provided either at reception or in the room. The room interior was fine though even a cheap print would relieve the bare walls. Toiletries are less than would be expected in a 4-star. But he view is superb - across the pool, an adjacent garden and the town rooftops to the hills that encase Sorrento and the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. That's so long as you have asked for a seaview room for the hotel is built against a sheer rockface and the view from back rooms would be consequently less entrancing. Also ask for a balcony room. Breakfast is good in parts - excellent and varying choice of fresh fruits, good cereal range, but poor quality ham and cheese and egg choice limited to scrambled or unimaginative omelette using the tasteless ham and cheese. The machine coffee is also poor quality. Service in the bar and coffee bar is understaffed and therefore slow. (We did not dine at the hote)l. Negative as much of this sounds, the views, the proximity to the town centre, the pool (though geography causes loss of sunshine to much of it for much of they day), the quietness and overall standard of maintenance make Conca Park a hotel to which we would return.

Very good hotel just at the end of the main street (2 minutes walk)

i was disappointed with the room i was given . i was assurred i would be given a room with a sea view /pool view i actually phoned up to double check . i was given a room with no balcony i complained and was given a room with a balcony but was facing a cliff view the room was small and there was not enough room for our clothes the wardrobe was very small i like the hotel i have stayed there quite a few times if i had been told i had to pay extra for pool view etc. i would have but that was not the case

Nice hotel, with clean rooms, and a nice view fron the balcony to Vesu. Very helpful reception (and in english). We didin't like that we could hear a lot of noise from the corridor - and that the breakfast was like a large uncharming canteen.

The hotel is very convenient for the centre of Sorrento and the service was excellent. Clean towels everyday and very friendly staff from room cleaning service, catering staff and reception. There is a swimming pool and spa and outdoor lounge seating area that is pleasant to sit in the sunshine. The hotel is close to local bus routes that service the surrounding areas. The Amalfi coast is a beautiful place to visit and highly recommend it to others.

Very friendly staff, lovely clean rooms with fresh towels everyday! Beautifuly garden, large swimming pool (with a smaller pool for kids) & delicious breakfast! This hotel is value for money & just a fews minutes walk from Sorrento. We would stay there again as we were very impressed & we had a very relaxing stay!!

overall its a nice hotel,but every floor is like a different hotel,i went with all of my family for a wedding so a few of us were staying on different floors,myself and my girlfriend were located on the 6th floor which is not a nice floor to stay on and the rooms on this floor are no where near as nice as the rest of the hotel,so id advise people to stay on other floors if possible,apart from that its an decent hotel and is in a nice location with the town only a stones throw away

Positives: Location - Up a slight hill and on one of the last roads in town, it allows you to be in central Sorrento in five minutes, but is not on the main drag. Lobby/Pool/Dinning Room - These areas are recently renovated and kept immaculately. They look absolutely great. Breakfast - One of the best breakfasts I have had at any hotels. It is not your normal cold cuts and pastries only. Room size/view - The room was huge. We did not have a "room with view," but looking out at the plant-covered rock wall was pleasant. Negatives: Bathroom Cleanliness - The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. It was not disgusting or even bad by any means, but they could have paid a little bit more attention to detail. Room Furnishings - While not in bad shape, they looked dated (especially with how modern the lobby and dinning area looked) Overall: I would suggest anyone to stay here. For the price, it is simply one of the best options in Sorrento.

Nice hotel in the seaside town of Sorrento. Wondeful breakfast buffet. Staff generally nice. Make sure you ask for a SEA view room with a balcony! Gorgeous! Room had a light over the whole wall above the bed that kept changing colors from blue to red to green. Very weird and it made reading in bed very difficult.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. It is very well placed, close th the town centre.

This is a great hotel in a perfect location within walking distance of old town Sorrento, the train station, and the port. The reception desk with Paola and Marco, fluent in English, was exceptionally helpful with activity and tour suggestions. The view of the bay is spectacular and a great place to sit back with a glass of Italian wine. We booked two extra days because we loved it so much. Rick Steves needs to add this to his book!!

Friendly staff. Good location.` Long walk up a tunnel to get to reception - not an issue for younger travelers, but I can see an issue for older travelers. They do run golf carts back and forth, but they weren't always available. Spacious rooms by European standards, cleanliness is adequate. Upon check-in, was not given a room with balcony, even though most rooms have balconies. Was quickly accommodated when I requested a balcony room though. Overall, a good value for the money and would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

nice hotel. Has an interesting enterance due to the hill its built on. Great view from our room of the bay. Had a lot of elderly clientel during our visit. The shower was a small and the parking is 25 Euro per day. Staff is nice and helpfull.

It is rated 4 stars, I don't know why. Toilet are a disaster. Everything is ageing. The service is mediocre and the breakfast food was running out 1 hour before the closing time.........Maybe a 3 stars? slightly expensive for it .

Well located and a decent staff, but the pool is not as pretty as it looks in the pictures and the hotel does not have any vistas of which to speak. One side is the mountain and the other is the town/ocean, which might be okay (there is no way to tell; no shared spaces face that direction). This hotel is perfect if you want to be able to go into Sorrento easily and frequently. The rooms and bathroom are average. Decent value for the money

big and nice but too far

The room was fantastic for what we need on a vacation. The only complaint that we had was the view from the balcony, which faces a giant rock face. But we got a great deal on the room, and honestly we werent in Sorrento to get a view from our hotel room anyways.

Huhtikuun alussa hotelli oli lähes tyhjä ja aamiaisella parhaista paikoista ei tarvinnu taistella. Ruokasalin ikkunasta voi ihastella kirkkaalla säällä Vesuviusta nauttiessa aamiaista tai illallista. Hotelli sijaitsee hieman "keskustan" kaduista syrjässä, mutta pienessä kaupungissa keskeisimmille paikoille kävelee 5 - 10 minuuttia. Hotellin aulaan johtaa pitkä käytävä ja raskaiden ostoskassien kanssa voi saada kuljetuksen hotellin ulko-ovelta aulaan golfvaunulla. Ainoa suuri miinus hotellille tulee huoneen siisteydestä, huoneemme ei ollut valmis saapuessamme n. klo 15, vaikka hotellissa ei lisäksemme ollut paljoakaan asiakkaita. Lisäksi ainakin kylpyhuoneen lattialla olivat samat hiukset koko visiitin ajan, joten lattiaa tuskin pyyhittiin vierailumme aikana. Muutoin hotellin henkilökunta oli avuliasta ja puhui hyvää englantia.

Nice hotell, you get what you pay for. Breakfast have some improvement opportunities though.

frukosten var jättebra!! Trevliga och rena rum! Dock lite långt från centrum, MEN det var bara bra för gick man rakt ner till stranden kostade 2 solstolar + parasoll 100 kr/dag. Gick man ner till stranden vid centrum kostade 2 solstolar + parasoll 250 kr/dag. //Karolina

Hotel Conca Park udmærker sig ved sin beliggenhed 300 m. fra Sorrentos hovedgade. Personalet i receptionen er særdeles hjælpsomme og taler alle et glimrende engelsk. Der er store fællesrum pænt udsmykket og med komfortable og moderne møbler. Morgenbufeen er af høj international standard. Værelserne er med termostatstyret aircondition og lille balkon. Rigtig gode senge, masser af skabsplads, et veludstyret badeværelse med varmt og koldt vand i ubegrænsede mængder.

Hotellet ligger flott til i rolige omgivelser. Ingen trafikk. Flott bassengområde. Pent beplantet tomt og vakker utsikt. Varierende comfort på rommene.
