When they say the room is small, they mean small. The hotel location is great however; the size of the room made working complicated.

The airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. The free shuttle service would always take us to where we could get a short train ride to Disneyland. The MTR station is just across the street, where anybody can get a ride to Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui, and other places of interest. We also took the bus back to the airport. I would stay there again if we get the chance to revisit HK as it gave us good value for our money considering that ours was a budget trip.

Convenience location but the room is extremely small.

The hotel is well locate and clean.

Room is very very small and had no heat for two days. Had to pay for Internet service in the room and tip toe around my luggage because of the small room. Service of staff was good and hotel was clean but I would not reccomend.

Handy to rail and everything else. Clean room comfortable bed, friendly and very competent staff. A good place to stay.

The room is too small for two people to stay.

We spent three nights at the hotel. It was very conveniently located with english speaking and very friendly staff. It is just 5 minutes walk from the MTR station and 1 minute from the bus stand. The rooms were a bit too tiny, but were well maintained, clean and with all facilities and amenities. However, if you are anywhere taller than 5.8 feet, you will certainly not fit into their beds! I will certainly recommend this hotel .

If you don't mind the size of the room, I would recommended based on the price and convenience location to all transportation and shopping. The room 1216 terribly small, only 2 step to the bed and 4 step to the bathroom.

Excellent value for money and extremely conveniently located, being only a short walk from Tsuen Wen MTR (metro) station. Everything you'd want from a hotel in Hong Kong, the room was comfortable, clean and well stocked with essentials for a short stay.

The hotel is very close to the Tsuen Wan MTR Station. It has very friendly staff, who spoke English well. The hotel restaurant offers excellent breakfast that would satisfy all tastes. Just outside the hotel, there are many shops and restaurants. I stayed in the least expensive room, which was small, but had excellent HDTV, a small fridge for guest use, large windows, and all things posted on the Hotels.com web site. Highly recommended!

As i had expected from reading the reviews here, the rooms in the hotel were absolutely tiny! There wasn't even any space to put my luggage, having to cross over them whenever i had to use the restroom, and move them whenever i wanted to leave the hotel. Even the beds were slightly shorter than usual. If you are tall, your feet will definitely dangle off the edge. However, the eateries in the surrounding neighborhood is plentiful, inexpensive and good. There are many convenience stores around and the MTR is a very short walk away. Bus service A31 which plies the airport is just in front of the hotel. In general, the hotel is okay if you don't intend to spend any waking hours in the room, and just need a place to sleep after an entire day out in Hong Kong.

For roughly the same price, i would recommend staying at the Panda Hotel. It's 5 min from the Dorsett Far East and so much better. I stayed only 1 night at the Dorsett because the Panda Hotel was full.

It is a nice hotel although with small space of the room. It is convenient to access to Subway and bus to airport and shopping area within walking distance.

Apart from the room smaller than expect for 2, hotel location convenence with everything just walking distance. Recommend to those just want a place to stay for few days.

We stay 4 days. Price is good. Location is good. Only the room size is small. But remember, it is in Hong Kong. It is OK to me. We only stay at night time.

大致上都滿意, 只是房間有點小, 行李多就無法走動, 整理行李也不是很方便. 還有洗手盤好像高了一些, 矮小的人就不是很方便.

房间小得可憐,多走一步都不以,这样也叫做酒店!

总体还是很满意的~就是从地铁口出来不怎么好找 房间确实是一览无余但是干净温馨 酒店服务也很好 还有免费BUS可以去海港城 去迪斯尼

酒店离地铁荃湾站很近，出行方便。房间很小，但设施遍历，卫生间相对较大。价格便宜，性价比很高

酒店的中文名是远东丝丽酒店，与hotel.com上不一样，结果差点走过了头。对着英文，才没走冤枉路。 看过其他香港闹市的酒店评价，丝丽酒店算是很好了，房间能放下我们的行李，卫生间也不算窄，热水很足，拖鞋牙刷毛巾电吹风洗漱用具都齐全，每天一大早还有送报纸。当时1月中旬，还下了雨，由于没有暖气所以感觉有点凉。由于楼下不是街市，所以很安静，一早醒来，窗外拥挤的高楼很香港。 楼下有7-11和小吃，离荃湾街市和地铁都很近，就是从地铁到酒店有很多楼梯要走，提着行李不那么容易就对了。

在市中心,鄰近地鉄站及巴士站,交通方便,附近食肆林立,左鄰便是一大型百貨公司.購物方便

주요관광지인 침사추이와는 거리가 상당히 멀어요. 그래도 지하철타면 같은 라인의 끝이라 앉아서 올수 있기도하고 센트럴은 지하철 환승을 하면 꽤 가까운 편입니다. 물론 지하철비는 꽤 들어요. 침사추이에서 타고오면 12달러 이상 들더라고요. 환승하면 센트럴까지 시간은 가까운데 16달러 이상 햇던것 같습니다. 일단 찾아가는 게 어려운 편이지만, 지하철 에서 출구로 나오기전에 출구표시 잘보면 다소 쉬워요. 빨간 선(몇호선인지 기억안남) 취엔완 역에서 내려서 B2출구로 나옵니다. B 출구는 다른 출구가 1층인데 반해 이건 2층에 있구요, B출구 표시아래 영어로 Silka Far East Hotel 이라고 써있어요. 일단 B 출구로 나오면 B3 인가 하는 곳이 나오는데 그 고가다리가 아니라 왼편에 또하나 있는 B2로 가서 직진하다가 다시 왼편에 다른 곳으로 가는 다리로 가면 안되고 앞이 막힌듯 하지만, 살짝 오른쪽에 건물을 두고 돌면 다시 반대편으로 가는 고가다리가 나오는데 그다리를 따라가다 왼편으로 계단을 내려서 한 50미터 가면 호텔나와요. 처음 찾기는 그래도 지내기 괜찮고요, 일단 청소 잘해주고 비품 계속 잘채워줍니다. 물론 방은 좀 작아요. 공항과는 가까워서 지하철타고 공항가도 경비가 적게 들어요. 호텔에서 몽콕과 공항근처 칭이역까지 무료 셔틀운행서서 잘 이용하면 효과적으로 이용가능해요.

The Hotelrooms are very small, but yet very clean and comfortable. Many of the rooms have a big window spectacular skyline view which makes the rooms seem bigger. The bathrooms are big compared too the sizes of the rooms. I noticed that some rooms at the other side of the hall didn't have windows, and those rooms looked quite claustrophobic, so make sure you get a room with a big window. The staff was very friendly and polite. They offer airport and disneyland transfer (to the Tsing Yi metrostation) in the morning and afternoon. The hotel is located very close to the metrostation Tsuen Wan and there is a big shoppingmall right next door. 3 minutes from the hotel, there is a big road with restaurants and shops (lots of electronic). You can buy breakfast at the hotel, but in my opinion, it is not worth the price. There are several bakerystores closeby. All in all, a good hotel for the price, clean and in a nice area. I would surely recommend it to a friend.

the room i stay is clean, but quite small. --that's fine with me, because what i need is a bed and a clean bathroom.If you have limited budget, this hotel might be a suitable choice to stay. it's also close to MTR Tsuen Wan, and there also has a bus directly to the airport, so i think it's quite convenient.

Stayed at the Silka Sep 6 to Sep 13,2011, overall a good impression, clean room though maybe a bit too small for two persons but ok if you stay solo like I did, they have a safe in the room and mini bar is not that expensive like other hotels, every item goes at just 8 HKD (2$), so if you are thirsty, do not hesitate to get a couple of cans from the bar.Didn't try their breakfast though, so cannot say anything, ate at a nearby McDonalds for under 20 HKD.Stayed on the 12th floor (non-smoking), would definetely recommend.

挺好，交通地址位置很好

房間很小，而且隔音很差！早上七時執房的女工在走廊大聲談話，非常吵耳！

附近無論飲食,購物, 交通都非常方便;酒店整体清潔,員工有禮貌,也樂意幫忙;唯一缺点是兩張牀的房間超細,行李無空間平放,提議租用一張牀的房間比較敞寬。

位置不错，楼下不远就有一个MALL。 房间也挺干净，但是很小。 最大最大的问题！就是床很小很短！，我175CM 躺在床上用正常睡姿根本无法伸直腿，可怜我一晚上就是照着“对角线”睡的...

It is a little far from the Central or Tsim Sha Tsui, but you can see real Hong Kong style here. This hotel near from the Tsen Wan Station, hospital, and convenience store. The congee shop near here was very good. And the fee to stay was reasonable.
