Grand Hotel Parco del Sole - سورينتو

This was my second time to stay at Grand Hotel Parco del Sole and it was perfect in every way (as was the last) - I will return there within the next few months. The gentleman at Reception was extremely helpful (he made a telephone call to a particular Restaurant we wanted to visit - using his native Italian and we really appreciated it) Only good comments about this hotel.

We stopped at Grand Hotel Parco del Sole as a break while driving from Rome to Sicily, we found an extremely comfortable & relaxing hotel with lovely pool area & stunning back drop. Free coach transfer is provided by the Hotel to & from Sorento's beautiful town center. A perfect base from which to discover the Amalfi Coast.

Extremely clean all respects. Room very good size, lovely terrace. Food excellent. Location convenient for various excursions.

Hotel is set back from the main road, so it's relativley quiet. Beautiful Pool area with deep water (not heated!) and nice bar and food area. Bar food was cheaply priced and prices clearly displayed for food, but not so for beer. Our Room was a dissapointment, no balcony, tiny TV (with only 1 English TV Channel), and the style of the room was quite old, we also had ants in the bathroom!. And worse of all they had no iron or ironing board, which I find unbelievable for a 4 star hotel, but this seems to be the norm for Italian hotels. The complex was nice and reasonably priced, situated close to the local train station, handy for direct access to Pompeii & Naples and only 1 train stop from Sorrento. Overall I would consider staying in the hotel again, if we got a better quality room.

Hotel was ok. 15 minute walk to downtown Sorrento. Reasonable price. Room was clean. Shower head in the middle of the tub caused water to go everywhere since there was no shower curtain and only had a small glass door. Very few English channels on TV. Breakfast had good selection. Internet was free in the lobby area. Pool closes at 7pm which is very early and should be open later for when you get back from downtown. Free parking.

We were disappointed by this hotel becasue of its location to the main tourist attractions. The site misleads you to believe it's in Sorrento but its actualy in a community on the outscurts of town. As a result, the shuttle which came too infrequently and at inconvenient times, was useless to us. The cab fair with a menial tip, was always 20 Euros for the short distance. The hotel has a very dated Cuban feel to it and was the only hotel we experienced during our trip to have carpeting. This made the musty smell more noticeable. Hallways were narrow and twisting making it difficult to get our luggage to our rooms. We booked two rooms and ended up on opposite sides of the hotel which made our single party feel isolated. Overall, the hotel was just "okay".

Good location. Very close to curare bus line and train. It is still about 3 block worth of walk. It could be hard with a heavy luggage. Poo quality of ac in the room. It is hard to feel comfortable on ho days. It is otherwise good Value for money.

All hotel staff particularly at reception were extremely helpful. Hotel is well placed in St Agnello, room was spacious for the three of us with no noise from outside. Pool was clean with lovely bar area and good food at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good continental style with excellent staff. St Agnello has many good restaurants within 15-20 mins walk, Peppino's being extremely good. Coppano, Moonlight and Caio Toto also good. Bars at the square friendly, The Terrrace Restaurant and Bar good for a drink with clifftop view of Sorrento. 10 mins walk to Circumvesuviana to get trains to Ercolano, Pompeii and Naples at good prices with frequent service. Positano well worth a visit, used local bus but had no aircon so was very hot. Hotel provides free shuttle bus to Sorrento each morning and evening, it takes 20-30 minutes to walk at a leisurely pace, roads can be busy taxi's are expensive 15 euro from town to the hotel. Train to Sorrento every 30 mins for 1 euro 10 cents. Overall a great holiday Sorrento is lovely and St Agnello is fine for a drink and good for food if you walk about a bit. I would not visit Naples again a bit too gritty!! I booked this hotel myself, not as a package for three of us and would definately use this hotel again. Only minor complaint was occasional lack of good cold water pressure in room 39.

Awesome pool and really nice bathroom. Well located right down the street from Sorrento. The area itself is a little limited in restaurants and bars but Sorrento is easy to get to.

I thought the hotel was pretty good. It was clean and in an okay location. It's a bit of a walk to Sorrento although they do offer a free shuttle 3x a day to the city center. The hotel is a short walk from the Sant Agnello train stop (the stop before Sorrento). I didn't think some of the restaurant staff was very friendly. One time we walked into the restaurant and everyone ignored us. Very strange. But overall a good value and a good, clean place to stay.

This hotel was located close to the Circumvesuviana (local train) station just one stop away from Sorrento. This meant that we were away from the hustle and bustle of the resort, but could get there very easily whenever we wished. It also made it very easy to take trips to Pompeii, Vesuvius, Amalfi, Caprii etc. The hotel was kept really well, with a lovely pool area and a good value poolside bar and restaurant. The rooms were spotlessly clean- the cleaning staff even tidied our toiletries each day!! There were also several nice restaurants in the area.

The hotel was nice, but the rooms were outdated. There was a smell in the room coming from the carpet. Balcony was not nice - I would not have spent any time there even though there was a a table and chairs. The room was quite spacy and the bathroom was ok. Most of the staff were not too friendly, though some of them very nice and polite. Breakfast was ok, but it was just as good as in the 3-star hotel we stayed in Rome. The pool was nice and there were enough sun chairs for every one. Pool bar was ok, the lunch snacks were good and relatively cheap as well. All in all, it tries to be a 4-star hotel but it isn't. It is just fine, but you would expect more.

Hotellet er lidt "slidt", men har det man har behov for. Der findes en fin swimmingpool med et godt område hvor der kan spises frokost osv. Hotellet har gratis internet, men desværre ikke på værelserne, kun ved receptionen eller tæt på denne.

Har bodd på dette hotellet to ganger og har vært fornøyd. Det er litt slitt, men ikke slik at det er plagsomt. Det er fine rom, bra frokost og helt grei middag. Poolen er splitter ny og er alene årsaken til at vi har brukt dette hotellet. Inkludert i prisen er solseng og rent håndkle hver dag. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum, men man går til sentrum på 15 minutter med hjertet i halsen....trafikken i dette området er over gjennomsnitt skummel. Men shuttlebussen er et godt tilbud til/fra sentrum på ettermiddagen. I sum et riktig så bra sted for å sole seg og slappe av ved poolen

Personnel accueillant, salle de petit déjeuner un peu triste (à l'intérieur sans vue) et bruyante s'il y a des groupes. Calme et piscine avec des coins pour se reposer, navettes pour Sorrento (mais peu nombreuses), sinon 15-20mn à pied pour le centre. Environs quelconques mais proche de la gare de San'Agnello (nous n'avions pas de voiture) ainsi que de l'arrêt de bus pour l'aéroport de Naples

Hotel bem localizado, a cerca de 300 m da estação ferroviária de Sant'Agnelo, com restaurantes e bares próximos. Café da manhã satisfatório e piscina ampla. Em uma noite de terça-feira foi servido pizza durante uma hora à beira da piscina, sem custo, acompanhada de boa música Italiana. Não é muito próximo da Marina Piccola de Sorrento, mas existe um ônibus que leva e traz os hóspedes a Sorrento, embora com poucos horários disponíveis no dia. Enfim, um hotel com um bom custo-benefício para dois adultos e duas crianças.

Hotellet har säker "Parkering" där man lämnar in nyckeln för att de sak kunna flytta bilen. Men vår hyr bil blev påkörd utan att någon visste något.....

Points forts de cet hôtel: la piscine et le jacuzzi; les serviettes de bain gratuites; la navette gratuite de l'hôtel à Sorrento et retour plusieurs fois par jour.

leuk hotel, mooi groot zwembad, we hadden HP en men had een gangenmenu wat wel prettig was en ontzettend lekker, personeel was vriendelijk en kon ook goed Engels (wat niet overal was), enige nadeel was een klein balkon en geen koelkast op kamer maar voor de rest prijs en kwaliteit 100% OK
