Inn at Glencairn - برينسيتون

We had a delightful stay. It's a charming, very hold house. Be aware though that with the charm comes creaky floors, thin walls, some street noise, etc. Otherwise wonderful.

A beautiful, historic farmhouse conveniently located for Lawrenceville (a mile away) and Princeton (4 miles) on route 206 but back a bit from the road. But if you are looking for the full high end country inn experience this isn't quite it - the furnishings are more like standard contemporary colonial revival hotel furniture. That being said, the bed was very comfy and the linens above standard. Bathroom was up to date and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nicely done - a big farm table everyone sits at.

The problem with traveling to Princeton for business is that all the hotels are either a) booked up if they are near the campus, or b) on Route 1 (noisy, heavy traffic, no atmostphere). That being the case, I would say this was a reasonable alternative. But, it's by no means a first rate B&B. It's a lovingly restored, beautiful old house with mediocre furnishings & well-meaning but not first class service.

The Inn was spectacular. The Inn Keepers, while very nice, were a bit too talkative.

Great B&B for a romantic getaway, not far from Princeton. The building is a historical gem and the rooms are pretty but still provide all necessary amenities. Only drawback: We expected a little more from the breakfast.

We picked this B&B for its convenience as a base to travel around the North East US and it worked for us. Only ten minutes from downtown Princeton. The hotel is a well maintained old country house dating from the 18th century, so plenty of ambiance. Innkeeper is very friendly and talkative .

I spent a week at the Inn at Glencairn while visiting the university; the inn is charming, located in a lovingly maintained historic structure, and breakfasts were excellent each morning. Commuting from the inn to downtown Princeton is quite straightforward, typically taking about 10 minutes for the drive. I look forward to my next stay at Glencairn.

Wonderful! Room, breakfast lovely, plus home made cookies and coffee/tea/wine available. Would definitely go back. Only potential watch-out is that breakfast isn't officially until 8am, which may not suit all business travelers. However, the host was very accommodating in serving 15 mins early.

inn and other buildings go back to the early 1700's. It was a fascinating look of how things were built at the time. But at the same time the Inn had all the modern conveniences you could wish for. A delightfulplace to stay

This B&B offers a nice alternative to other hotels in the area. When staying in the area you have Princeton, Bordentown or Rt 1 to pick from. If you want something nice you're stuck in or near the towns. If you're on Rt 1 the selections are more budget. this B&B is easy to find, has convenient parking and special touches to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Lovely and filling breakfast, magazines and comfy rooms to read them in. Nice grounds for strolling and easy access to the area around. About 3 miles south of Princeton, so it's closer to Lawrenceville and Lawrence.

The Inn at Glencairn reminded us of many of the lovely B & B's we have stayed in the UK.
