Hotel Chablis - بالينكي

The hotel is new, clean and in a good, safe area for visiting the ruins which is probably the reason for most visits to Palenque. Ther is a large, locked open air parking area imediately adjacent to the hotel. The service at reception was good. Breakfast (not included in our deal) was excellent and reasonably priced. The bar / restaurant facilities are otherwise rather limited. There is also a small pool to cool off in after a sweaty day in the jungle.

It was very nice and quiet and clean.

The hotel is new and has everything you need. Our room had a fan and air conditioning. The room was spotless and the staff very helpful. Would stay here again when in Palenque.

We found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable, nicely located in the Canada district and an easy walk to the center of town, a less costly alternative to it's sister hotel Maya Tulipanes a block away. Staff was nice but with little English. Not a problem since they worked hard to understand what we wanted.

Good location with numerous restaurants around, however they were quite pricey. Nice pool and clean room however hotel would have been better if breakfast was included. Staff were friendly and helpful although they did not speak English.

Very nice hotel that is still expanding. Once they are done with construction this should be a great hotel to stay in when you are visiting Palenque. Staff was young and eager to make us feel special. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a great pool that was cozy, but the water was a bit too cloudy for my girlfriend to go in.

Great hotel overall with a good location in the Palenque-centro hotel area. Very nice clean rooms with AC and nice swimming pool. During our stay there was construction work going on a new building for the hotel, which by the way seems like it will be opened soon. In any case they were nice enough to tell us in advance about possible noise (which turned out to be very little and perfectly fine) and even offer a room in sister hotel next door Maya Tulipanes.

The hotel was great, the service was excellant. It was over 90 degrees and they do not have an ice machine, so when we requested ice the staff would go to the other hotel nearby and bring it back. Now that is dedication !! They are adding to this hotel so it is under construction. However, the crews would not start until after 7 am, and end early in the afternoon, so no issues at all. The location is convenient to downtown and the local restaurants are great.

Hotel is in a relatively "new" condition. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very good location amongst the trees with enough services for the short time we were there, 2 nights. AC was great for the humidity, restaurants were varied in the area and close to the collectivos to the ruins. Construction going on was not a nuisance as started after we were up and stopped before we returned. Clean room

Hotel Chablis provides an economical choice with excellent service. It's a very modern place located on La Cañada street. Our room faced another room, which made it very quiet. It has a comfortable bed (king size and not on concrete) with a very clean,but tiny bathroom. We were surprised at how hot and humid Palenque was in February, so the AC was a huge hit. It has a huge ceiba tree in the middle and the birds loved greeting each other in the morning. No roosters nearby. The pool was a little messy, because a nearby tree was shedding its leaves. Hotel Chablis is on La Cañada street that was built right in a jungle and has a variety of hotels and hostels nearby. There's great variety in the restaurants and are within easy walking distance (10 steps). We especially loved the cebiche de camaronnes (shrimp ceviche) at La Huachinango con Feliz (The Happy Red Snapper). The shrimp were large and fresh and they made it as I requested - without onions.

We have stayed in a number of hotels in this area of Palenque. All were fine but I think this was the best.

The hotel looked nice and in a good location. There was, however, building work being carried out but we were offered accommodation at their 4 star sister hotel next door at no extra cost.

we just enjoyed our stay at hotel chablis and just can recommend this accommodation! the service was great and we had a comfortable stay there. good location to the collectivos to palenque ruins and also to the ado-bus station (both in walking distance about 3-5 mins).

Hotel is located in the green area of Palenque where several other hotels, cafes and restaurants are. the area is quiet and safe. THe hotel is nice, the employees are helpful and the rooms are clean. I think the price value is quite good. The hotel is 5 minutes walk form the ADO station and 10 minutes walk to the town center. Going to the ruines requires to take a bus or collectivo.

Clean hotel with nice location, and comfortable rooms. However we asked for a double room and they gave us twins, besides of that, the hotel was very ok.

This is a great hotel, the rooms are clean, big and modern. I think all the rooms have a small balcony and a big tv. There is also a nice pool. For me the best hotel in Palenque but I can't compare with other hotels there.

Great value for money hotel. Nice sized room with balcony and access to a pool. Palenque town is not too exciting but the ruins nearby are spectacular.

The room is O.K.,big and clean;Walk about 10-mins to bus-station or walk on the main road in a few mins,catch up the transports(mini-bus) to ruin easily. A small pool but the staff is very helpful and friendly since most of them can't speak English!!

One of our favorite accomodations in Mexico. The staff is just super in every way, very friendly and effecient. Room cleanliness top notch. Comfortable beds and pillows. Hotel is in an secluded area just 5 min walk from the center. Very cozy. Would absolutley recommend this hotel

First - we stayed out of season. Nice area, the hotell had excellente service. Because out of season the pool wasn't always cleared for leaves and the jacuzzi wasn't turned on. As soon as we showed an interest for it, they turned the system on for us. Big rooms, good aircondition - two alternatives, one noisy but extremely efficient one and a fan in the ceiling for night time. Room had a nice but small balcony, the distance to the centre was easily within walking distance, taxis and tour operators new the hotel so easy to be picked up, and it was more or less on the route to the ruins. Definately a recommend!

Decent hotel for the money paid. doors do not have a lock inside. Overall is good.

Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Very spacious room. For this price, I would say it is a good deal.

If you plan to spend most of your day out visiting the ruins and come back for a hot shower and a good bed, this hotel will fit the bill! No frills, basic and older hotel, safe enclosed parking if you travel by car. Friendly staff

The rooms are large and clean and surprisingly quiet, given it's location next to the highway. It is very close to the ADO first class bus terminal. Breakfast was not paricularly healthy but substantial. The lack of the advertised hotel-airport shuttle means you have to take a taxi, adding MX$150 or more to your bill. The concierge tried to add MX$50 to the fare as a cash kickback from the driver in addition to his normal kickback, which irritated me.

We were in Palenque 3 years ago and that time stayed out by the ruins. We much prefer this hotel-such a quiet, lush, green neighborhood and the Zocalo is just a 10 minute walk away. They are in the midst of refreshing the property-fresh paint, a new dip-pool, etc. Not much English spoken. But the staff is very helpful. Would stay here again

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Vor allem wenn man den ganzen Tag die Tempelanlagen in Palenque besichtigt und Abends nach der Hitze des Tages nur noch entspannen will. Das Hotel ist sehr freundlich geführt und auch in einem guten Zustand. Von der Lage her im Umfeld von anderen Hotelanlagen - gute Restaurants oder Frühstückscafés sind in der Nähe. Zu Fuss kann man aber auch in die Innenstadt laufen, wenn man will.

Es un hotel muy limpio, solo pase una noche pero fue agradable. Su ubicación es excelente.

Grande chambre avec le confort normal, propre, silencieux. Dans la zone des hotels pour touristes. La restauration est à éviter dans l'hotel et autour, c'est pas mieux. pas évident de manger correctement sur palenque.Une petite piscine sans trop de charme mais, peu important car l'hotel est bien situé pour visiter le site maya de palenque et reprendre la route le lendemain.

Das Zimmer (Nr. 104) war sehr sauber und wirkte sehr neuwertig. Durch die Lage bedingt (gegenüber befindet sich in wenigen Metern Entfernung das Nachbargebäude) war es etwas dunkel und hatte somit auch keine schöne Aussicht vom Balkon. Es gibt keine Eismaschine oder Kühlschrank um seine Getränke o.ä. zu kühlen. Ansonsten hat uns das Hotel, der Pool und die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, sprachen aber nicht alle Englisch.

El Chablis es un hotel cerca de la estacion de autobuses. Las habitaciones muy limpias y un jardin con alberca muy agradable.

They put us in a lower room in a dark corner. The hotel was not full, was almost empty. We should has spoken up but were only there for 2 nights. Nice room, nice hotel, good location.

Hotel situe dans une petite zone hoteliere calme (canada). Service courtois. Chambre propre et au calme. Petite piscine sympa. Salle de bain relativement petite.

Wir waren positiv überrascht, ein so komfortables und trotzdem nettes Hotel bei unserer Reisestation in Palenque (2 Übernachtungen) vorzufinden. Der Poolbereich gestattete es, nach der Fahrt von San Cristobal an einem heißen Tag sich abzukühlen. Auch die nette Umgebung im schattigen "Waldvorort Canada" von Palenque trug stark zur Entspannung bei. - Mehrere Restaurants / Bars ein paar Häuser weiter ermöglichen es, sich nach einem Tagesausflug zu den Wasserfällen von Agua Azul und zu den Ruinen zu regenerieren. Der zentrale Teil von Palenque ist in 15-20 min über die Hauptstraße, am Busterminal vorbei, zu erreichen. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend, das Gepäck auch nach dem Ausschecken im Hotel aufzubewahren (unser Nachtbus weiter fuhr erst um 21:30) war kein Problem. Ein sehr angenehmer und entspannter Aufenthalt im Chablis!

The hotel looks like it has recently been renovated and our room was a large king sized bed with ensuite and had been renovated in the past few months. The room was large, very clean, good hot water, balocny, king sized bed, nice bedding. The pool is nice and well maintained. They are building a new block of rooms near the front entrance but the workers dont start making noise until 10am ad the construction is very well contained so its no problem. Excellent value for money and in a great location in the tourist precinct.

l'hotel en lui même est plutôt pas mal mais quand nous y étions en mars-avril 2012, il y avait des travaux d'agrandissement donc du bruit. de plus, la piscine n'était pas d'une grande netteté et la vue depuis notre chambre pas terrible. pas de possibilité de restauration mais ils vous donnent un ticket vous offrant 10 de réduction dans le restaurant d'un hôtel voisin. bref un hôtel très correcte si vous ne faites qu'y dormir sinon, voyez ailleurs.
