This was my first time booking and I was so happy with everything! My room was amazing, the furniture was beautiful and the whole unit was very new. The large jetted bath tub was really cool too! We were right on the golf course so we sat on the deck in the morning, it was so relaxing. I wish I could have stayed longer. The best part was only having to book for a one night stay and the price was very affordable thanks to hotels.com Everyone at the wedding was jealous of where I was staying and that it was walking distance to the lodge and the wedding. O well, next time they should listen to me!

I booked this without knowing anything about The Pines at Sunriver and was pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival, I was told that we would receive two bike rentals with our room and free wi-fi. These were two added bonuses I wasn't expecting. We stayed in unit A-6 and it was spacious and well maintained. The jaccuzi tub in the bathroom was HUGE! Unfortunately we didn't get to use it. The pool was heated and it was actually warm! Sometimes they say it's heated and it's luke warm. This was very comfortable considering it was barely 60 degrees outside. I will definitely stay at the pines again and recommend it to friends and family planning a trip to Bend/Sunriver.

Do you like off the beaten path? Do you like golf courses. Do you like tons of places to walk or ride? The pines is for you. It is not found by GPS or by Google maps or Mapquest. It is how ever very comfortable and totally worth the your time. It is done in a cabin motif with a wonderful view of the Golf course. The place was absolutely quiet. The room had its own kitchen fully stocked and a Jacuzzi that fits two! I wish my stay was longer because it was the most peaceful sleep I have ever had. We got cruiser bicycles with our room . We rode all over the paths and to the local store for supplies. If I had needed to do laundry there was a washing machine and dryer. The complex is non smoking so you have to look for a place to smoke if you are a smoker but who wants to get rid of that beautiful mountain air! From the back porch you get to watch all sorts of wildlife run around. If you want to find the place get off at the sun river exit and go through two round abouts and turn left on S century drive. turn right into the place about one block in. Dont go by the mapquest or gps because you will be looking around for a long long time. Go during the spring and summer and you have all the local parks open. The lava cast forest and the lava tubes were closed as of October 1st so we didnt get to do that but the High Desert Museum was open . While you are staying make a trip to Bend for Jakes and for Goody's chocolate factory! This isnt a resort like you would see in Palm Springs but I would rate it 4 plus stars for sure!

Nice resort setting but it must be a time share or something as there was no shampoo in the room. You do get soap and I later found that I could have bought shampoo for 50 cents at checkin but I didn't realize that until too late (office closes at 8pm). I also didn't realize there was no daily maid service. But the weather was perfect, the bike trails are fun and the greater Sunriver complex is lovely.
