We just returned from a weeks stay at the Great Parnassus. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very accomodating. A few things I did not like were the kids pool being so far away from the beach and other pools. Tthe food was just fair. This was our first stay in an all-inclusive so this maybe true for this type of hotel. I also love guacamole and was looking forward to lots of the fresh stuff during our stay but was very disappointed to find out that there were no avacadoes anywhere on the premises. The view out of our hotel room was not the most appealing. as just below us sat a power plant that was quite noisy. They did offer to move us the next day but because it would of taken a half a day to make the switch we ended up staying in the room. With so many choices of hotels I'm not sure that I would go back here.

Family with kids 7 and 9 years. Every morning att:05:00 we where waked upp by the noise from the kitchen staff prepering breakfast, att:05:30 (too midnight) there was a terrible smell from the kitchen, we could ass vell have stayed INN the kitchen. The door too the rooms have no gasket, so there is a strong draft passing thrue the room att ALL times. The toilet was broken, there was a leak from the bathroom roof...we told them but nothing happend, firealarm/detechtor was broken/missing we told them three times and nothing happend, missing toilettpaper we called maid service and where told comming right upp nothing happend (severel times). This is a hotel who is like staing innside a kitchen fan, werry noisy, drafting and its realy worn out. Good lokation, nice beach. Under staffed, and the staff speaks werry little english, the food was average.... So, sorry but we will not come back too this plase.

OK hotel, more like 3.5 stars instead of the claimed 5 stars. Large rooms with sea view, modern furnishings, good bathrooms. AWFUL food! Tried 3 restaurants and the quality was very low. Luckily we only stayed here for 2 days. I couldn't imagine having to eat such bad food for a week or two. Several bars around the hotel, but all serve very weak mixed drinks in tiny glasses. Atlantis adults only bar on the second floor was the nicest, with pool tables, foosball, etc but very smoky and could do with a good clean.

Our family of 6 travels to Mexico a couple times a year. Most of our trips are spent south of Cancun in Akumal, which is about an hour and a half south, so staying closer to the airport the night before traveling home makes getting everyone up and to the airport a lot less rushed. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the resort for 1-2 days prior to leaving Mexico over the past couple years. The first time we went I wasn't expecting much, the rates were even lower than they are now, so I thought as long as long as the place is reasonable and there aren't bugs crawling in our room, it's a place we can stay for one night before leaving town. The hotel was much better than I expected, very clean, nice kids area, friendly staff and rooms were very nice. The only potential negative would be that all the room doors open to a atrium in the middle, so if it were really busy and people were talking or yelling late at night you could hear echoes of it in your room. This isn't a five star hotel, so don't go there expecting it, you would be paying 5x as much a night if it were. But for what it is, a clean hotel, right on the hotel strip in Cancun, very kid friendly and with decent food options, I would recommend.

Really nice week vacation. We wouId recommend this property to anyone! We enjoyed the layout and the service. The waiters and waitresses were all excellent. We had two teens with us and they also had a great time. Drinks were well made and the bartenders enjoyed learning about new drinks! Had a really, really, really great time.

This hotel is not at all worthy of three stars plus stars. While recently renovated, the rooms are very worn. The service at the hotel is terrible. We were a group of 12 with 7 rooms. Only one of the seven rooms was ready at the stated check in time of 3:00 pm. Four of the seven rooms were not ready until 6:00 pm or later. The card required to be traded in to obtain a beach towel and the safe lock and key were not given to six of the seven rooms at check in. When the front desk was called questioning these items, the guests were told they were required to go back to check in and wait in line again with guest checking in and out of the hotel to obtain these items as opposed to a hotel employee bringing the items to the guests in their rooms. Several of the rooms were not made up by housekeeping on one or more days. On days when rooms were made up, in more than 50% of our seven rooms, the dirty towels were removed but no clean towels were left in the room. One room had no hot water for our entire stay. While maintenance was called about the situation, they were unable to rectify the situation. The food at the hotel is barely passable. It is uncomfortably warm in the buffet area. The service at the sit down restaurants is horrible. It is very slow. You must ask several times to get whatever it is you are requesting, and then, chances are, they will bring it wrong anyway.

This hotel was just okay -- parts of hotel in need of repair. There were no shopping places close by -- all further down in the Hotel zone (closer to downtown). All inclusive food and drink - except for Magnus restaurant, all the other food in specialty restaurants is sub-rate. All inclusive alcoholic drinks - cannot make those correctly either, beer is safe bet. Most of our stay was at the Westin Lagunamar Resort (our pricing deal made the Westing less per night) -- this resort makes the Great Parnassus feel like 2-3 star. For people with families who need all-inclusive to save $$, this is a good deal. For those who are used to better hotel accomodations, more to do in surrounding neighborhood, better beaches, better restaurants -- this is not the place to stay.

great room, great view, great food for the price! Kids pool was a lot of fun for my seven year old.

My wife and I wanted to get away for an extended 4 day weekend. I had no idea that this was an extremely family friendly hotel. My mistake. You're basically at a mall with an ocean view (complete with a food court). The room was not bad if you're into the IKEA look. This is NOT a hotel for couples looking to get away. On the other hand, we had no problem with cleanliness, service, price, or comfort. And there is an adult pool on the second floor. Don't look for gourmet meals in this hotel. And if you drink beer, you'd better like Dos XX's. For nightly entertainment, go somewhere other than the hotel.

Wow...where to begin. I would like to leave a 1 but for the sake of readers´attention I would rate this hotel a 1.5 stars. From the moment we arrived we immediately felt we were in the wrong hotel. The pictures and virtual tours did an injustice to this hotel and were very decieiving. The word tacky might be the best way to paraphrase the hotel´s ambiance...this is by no means a romantic gettaway. Almost 4 stars and no valet parking, they issue you a semi-broken remote control with a lock before you even arrive to your room. We requested a room change which they gladly accepted, initial view was construction next door. The rooms are decorated in Wal-Mart-like paintings. The bathroom tub was stained with rust-like marks, and furniture on the wall near entrance to the door was falling off. While I tried the gym my friend visited the pool area and she was immediately harrassed by other hotel guests. The overall area of the pool is very small and could become engulfed with guests very quickly. Unfortunately this hotel would have been the perfect place for the college crowd, not for young adults with more expectations of what Cancun offered. We made reservations at another hotel that very night and were very pleased with our decision to leave. To top things off hotel staff, bell boys, appeared confusioned and forgetful when a pair of our tennis shoes did not make it down with our check out.

Friendly people, nice room, good food, would definitely go back.

We chose this resort with the expectation of catering to a family condusive environment and our expectations were met. The rooms were great and although we would only get one wash cloth but 6 towels, the room service and cleanliness was very good. Having a very picky eater for a child we were limited on food for his needs but on the whole the food was good, especially the crepery but wished that was open all day not just in the evenings. Although the beach in the hotel vicinity was very rocky at the shoreline, it was still gorgeous blue, white sand and we loved it. If you are expecting internet access, don't count on it. The hotel did offer wifi at a reasonable cost but there were never any access cards available and we never had the opportunity. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the resort.

Muy buen hotel muchas actividades y buen ambiente solo tal vez falto un poco de mantenimiento pero la gente muy amable

A única coisa que me chamou a atenção negativamente foram os pratos e copos que eram deixados pelos hóspedes no chão do corredor. Os hóspedes deveríam ser orientados a deixar dentro do quarto.

Es un hotel recomendable la parte gastronomica es muy completa y tiene muchas actividades para hacer durante el dia y la noche

El hotel en general me parece muy bueno, pero necesita supervisar los detalle de las habitaciones, como por ejemplo mejorar los TV, cafetera, aire acondicionado, me parece que las habitaciones en general ni son buenas, por otra parte la atención del personal es excelente y la comida mejor aun

　まずチェックインの時明日ホテル全体を案内するTourをするといわれ、ついていったらホテルを案内された後、長々とメンバーへの勧誘だったことが分かった。 　途中で断って帰って来るも、正直非常に気分が悪かった。 　またSPAを申し込んだ時の価格と実際チェックアウト清算時の価格が約倍近く異なり、話が違うと抗議したものの、飛行機の時間もあり結局埒が明かず。 　おつりを100ペソ以上間違える。 　価格を考えれば設備が多少シャビーなのも納得するが、執拗な勧誘とぼったくられた感があり、もう二度と行く気はしない。

El hotel tiene buena atención en general, sus instalaciones son cómodas y se encuentran en buen estado. Tienen bonitas actividades para niños. En cuestión de limpieza les falta un poquíto en cuanto a detalles, específicamente en la limpieza del pizo de las habitaciones y el resto de sus instalaciones

ES UN BUEN HOTEL LO RECOMENDARIA AMPLIAMENTE, LA ATENCION Y LA COMIDA SON BUENAS, SOLO SIENTO QUE FALTARON ACTIVIDADES

hotel est en genral bien, ce qui me concerne, j'ai été victime du vol de mon portfeuille dans ma chambre, je les signales a la reception la mise en oeuvre et investigation a été lamentable pour faire la lumière de ce vol il y avait 100$us et 500 pesos, je recomanderai cette hotel mais avec des reserves, toute les boisons que ce soit les sauf drink et alcool sont a la limite du pas bon.

クラブオーシャンスイートに３泊しました。 基本的に値段からみれば、まぁしゃあないレベル。 泊まっても良い。 従業員はいい人もいれば、対応の良くない人もいる。 レストラン、クラブラウンジの従業員は概ね良い人が多い。けどフロントはかなり無愛想。 食事はビュッフェがお勧め。 その他のレストランは意外と美味しくない。 ビュッフェで美味しそうな香りに釣られて注文するのが吉です。そういうのが大体美味しかった。 ホテルの内装はそこそこ綺麗でしたが、大ハリケーンの後も通常に営業を続けているホテルなので、色々な部分にガタがきています。 ウチラの部屋ではトイレから雨漏りがありました。 「部屋を変えて欲しい」と頼んだら「修理します！」と元気な従業員がうちらの前で修理しだす始末。 ただ値段はこのあたりでは安いと思いますので、ある程度はありうると思って泊まれるなら問題ないです。 プールもプールバーも良かったです。 参考になれば幸いです。

El servicio en general es deficiente; gente muy buena pero poco capacitada; molesta el hecho de que haya una tasa de cambio para cambiar dinero y otra 20% mas alta para cobrar dinero; el spa es absurdamente caro para standard mejicano- un masaje de una hora no puede costar lo mismo que un día de alojamiento all inclusive para una persona; no deben bajar el aire acondicionado de noche porque uno amanece sudado!! Las instalaciones del hotel son magníficas; pero se necesita un management profesional

Ideal para familias sem for em lua de mel caia fora . Quartos amplos e muito confortáveis com uma bela vista para o mar . Terrível são os elevadores insuficientes para o tamanho do hotel sempre lotados com filas e sem ar condicionado no verão vira uma estufa. Lastimável em alguns restaurantes , bar da piscina e da praia apenas copos de plástico mal lavados e ainda estavam reutilizando copos descartáveis . A comida é boa , diversas opções de restaurantes , piscinas pequenas para qdo o hotel esta cheio. Boa relação custo benefício , tirando esses lados negativos vale a pena .

Não recomendo. Comida não é boa, a piscina sempre estava lotada. Poucos elevadores - muito tempo de espera. Chopp quente e refrigerante sem gás.

todo esta ,bien ,lo unico q no me gusto fue el sevicio ala habitacion,cuando pedias algo se tardaban mucho y aveses ni caso asian,,pero todo lo demas estubo padrisimo,,y la comida tambien un 10 de calificacion

Muy mala relación precio calidad..., este hotel tiene convenio con compañias sudamericanas que le llenan el hotel de jovencitos de 17 y 18 años que se emborracha y no deja dormir en toda la noche, mal estado de las instalaciones poco mantenimiento a las habitaciones................definitivamente MALO!!!

As instalações atenderam as nossas expectativas. Os serviços de piscina, quarto, atividades esportivas, entreterimento, restaurantes, foram excelentes. Mas há dois pontos que podem melhorar: 1- Controlar o retorno dos adolecentes que voltam das baladas de madrugada, que incomodamo os demais hospedes. 2- Atendimentos pontuais as solicitações de reparo, pois fizemos uma reclamação quanto ao não funcionamento de telefone e não fomos atendidos.

O serviço all inclusive deixa a desejar.. cerveja não muito gelada e sempre sem gás.. restaurante japonês é horrível, péssima qualidade. Os horários de jantar são péssimos, pois quase todos os restaurantes abrem somente até as 22:30.. de resto o hotel tem tudo ok.. a área do hotel é boa, próximo dos pontos principais da zona hoteleira, mas terá que pegar um taxi ou melhor, ônibus, pois passa a todo minuto e custa apenas 10 pesos (1 dollar) as praias em cancún são bem agitadas, logo dê preferência a praias mais calmas, pois a agua é mais clara e vc consegue ficar na agua relaxando, sem pulinhos constantes para fugir das ondas. assim que chegar, troque seus dolares por pesos em algum exchange do centro ou centro turistico, pois no aeroporto, hotel e diretamente nos passeios vc fará câmbio na casa dos 10 x 1 dolar, e trocando terá 11,5 x 1, ou seja, a cada mil dolares ganhará 1500 pesos. Espero que tenha ajudado! Boa sorte viajantes!

Todo esta bien solamente la comida necesita mejor porque la verdad no tienen gran variedad y los platillos dejan mucho que desear.

Exelente hotel, muy familiar y adecuado para niños pequeños, area infantil con toboganes y personal calificado para cuidar a los pequeños. Las habitaciones muy amplias y limpias, muy confortables. La comida quiza sea la unica debilidad, pero aceptable!

Recién fuimos al Htl. Parnassus, quiero felicitarlos por su excelente comida y el excelente SERVICIO de la gente, quedamos gratamente satisfechos en estos dos rubros, lo único por lo que no volvería a este hotel es por sus instalaciones, les falta muchísimo mantenimiento, realmente NO NOS GUSTO!!.. la bañera del cuarto estaba vieja, los tapetes nejos, las albercas con azulejos rotos igual que del lobby y del pasillo hacia el area del club de niños, en el Gym de 4 caminadoras, solamente trabajaba 1, los primero 3 días y luego jalaron 2, los shows bastante raquiticos, despues de haber visto los del Meliá, los de este hotel estan muy raquiticos, mi hijo de 4 años estaba emosionado para ir a ver el show de los super heroes, y resulta que fue de los mas "X" .. hicieron concursos y nada que ver.. nos salimos de ahí a pesar de que nuestro equipo iba ganando.. En fin.. lo único que salva a este hotel es su gente y comida.. saludos!!..

Ótimo atendimento, piscina, boa comida e diversão...

Me hospedé con amigo en el Great Parnassus Cancún del 12 al 19 de noviembre 2010. La experiencia fue excelente. La ubicación del hotel, aunque está casi al final de la zona hotelera, se compensa con la playa ya renovada, la que me pareció una de las mejores. La atención del personal estuvo muy buena, salvo un par de excepciones en el bar/snacks de piscina. En recepción sobresalió la atención de la señorita Joann, una persona muy agradable y atenta, y siempre dispuesta a solucionar cualquier problema que tuviéramos. Y en el bar Karaoke la señorita Sonia, quien también nos atendió en el restaurante francés y en Manhattan, se esmeró en todo momento en darnos una atención de primera. La comida y bebidas muy buenas, disponibles en cualquier momento del día y la noche. El show del imitador de Michael Jackson... sin palabras... fue buenísimo!!! En fin, pasamos 8 días inolvidables. Estoy casi seguro que pronto volveremos a este hotel.

Buena atenciòn del personal, instalaciones imponentes, amplias y còmodas. Climatizaciòn mejorable. Spa y Gimnasio de primera. Gran variedad de actividades y de restaurantes.

Beautiful hotel. The views from the balconies were awesome! I picked this hotel off hotels.com for being affordable and the guys at our other hotel also suggested it. The guys in the pool and all other wait staff were incredible. Clean,spacious rooms. No noise. We even were invited to release baby sea turtles. What a great ending to a ruined week by Mexicana air!! Will definitely stay again!!!!! Met a lot of friendly people who made the 2 day stay even greater! If Becky reads this Kayla had fun too!

buena comida y una excelente playa y picinas

mi familia y yo estuvimos muy agusto durante nuestra estancia en este Hotel, ya que cuenta con muchos servicios y atracciones. Los niños felices y divertidos por el area destinadas para ellos.

Yo me hospede en temporada baja, a principios de Junio por lo que no había mucha gente y era de esperarse un mejor servicio. En uno de los restaurantes, llamado Samurai y en la mayoria de los demas, la gente no es muy amable y el servicio tarda mucho en llegar. Hay horarios en los que no tienes opcion de comer absolutamente nada como a la 11:30 am ya que todos los restaurantes estan cerrados y tu unica opcion es un snack con papas a la francesa. El servicio a cuartos es lento y no tienen algunas cosas del menu. Les recomendaria que buscaran otra opcion del mismo precio, a mi me gusto mas el Gran Caribe Real en el cual me quede el año pasado. Suerte
