Weekly Mansion Osaka at Otemae - أوساكا

Everything was perfect with this hotel, big room for low price, helpful staff, excellent location, fast net. Local washing/drying facilities. The only thing to be fixed is the smoky smell of the rooms. Smoking should be allowed only on the balconies. Even speaking as a smoker, it was always very stinky each day we arrived from sightseeing. Everything else is perfect, really.

The room is comfortable and good enough for a family. Walking distance to Osaca Castle Park, accessable to subway station. People downstair are friendly and helpful. Next time when we visit to Osaka we would like to stay there again, and this hotel would be highly recommended to our friends.

stayed here twice and will again. Booked far enough in advance you can get an amazingly cheap rate. Staff speaks enough english. Rooms have a fridge & kitchenette, laundry downstairs & bike rental available. as small as the rooms might seem, they are actually a bit bigger than most business hotels in Japan.

Convinent. Near station. Just 5 mins walk. But tidiness if the room was not as good as i thought before. On the first day arrival, a croco was found on the table. Second day, another one is found in bathroom. But overall, the location is good, and the price is fair. Even there is dicount when we booked for consecutively 7 days. So it fairly good. I would suggest you to rent if your budget is tight.

The 2 bed room mansion is small but still comfortable for 4 of us. The distance to the closest Tanimachi 4 Chome station is only about 5 min slow walk. It is also very close to many shopping areas, i.e. Shinsaibashi, Higashi Umeda, Osaka Station and convenient stores which open 24 hour. We recommend this place to everyone who wants a comfortable but affordable stay. The only "complain" we had one of the bed gave a cracking noise, however nothing is perfect. We also bought a few packages of fresh and sweet strawberries directly from a farmer who always parks his small truck in front of the hotel. Our 7 night stay was really enjoyable although we cleaned the room ourselves.

NICE TO HAVE A SELF CATERING PLACE TO STAY- MAKES A CHANGE FROM HAVING TO VACATE THE ROOM FOR THE DAILY STAFF. ROOM WAS ON THE TIRED SIDE DECOR WISE BUT COMFORTABLE BEDS AND THE ACCOMMODATION WAS SPACIOUS.NOT FAR TO WALK TO THE SUBWAY AND PLENTY OF PLACES TO EAT NEARBY. LAUNDRY FACILITIES AVAILABLE- ALWAYS GOOD ON A LONG TRIP

I have stayed here every time I've been to Osaka. Very cheap rate and in a nice neighborhood. The room is simple, but very big and spacy . The bathroom a bit small, but not a big deal for me. About a 5 min walk from the subway, but a bit of a journey if your connecting to JR train system especially if you have a lot of luggage. Recommend it if your traveling with friends.

Weekly Mansion Osaka at Otemae - We arrived late to the hotel around 11:30pm, rung the after hours bell at the front door and was soon greeted by a staff member who could speak basic english (a plus when it's so late at night). The room is very basic, however it contained everything we needed, and was both clean and reasonably comfortable. The rooms are very large for Japanese Standards however beware the bathroom is very very tiny. The Kitchenette contains pots and pans etc. There is an air conditioner which can also be used as a heater. The rooms are not maintained (towels etc are not refreshed) on a daily basis. There is a Family Mart very close by and the walk to the Subway is approx 5 minutes.

I have stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. My friends and I lived in a 3-bed-room. The room was great. It was pretty clean. The hotel staff were very nice. The location may not be the most convenient one but there is a subway nearby. So, the location is not a big problem especially if you have a subway pass.

I cannot reccomend this place more, in fact my friends are staying there in a few months thanks to us! Not only is it one of the cheapest places to stay in Osaka but it is excellent as well. Clean, spacious rooms. We were on the 4th floor and had no noise. Beds were comfy, pillows were of the firmer style but I loved them. There is internet in the rooms and the laundry room was handy! Staff were friendly and spoke english (thanks!) Great location! Subway station is just up the road, convenience stores just up the road. Or walk through Osaka park to get to another train station line. We managed ourselves to Kobe, Nara, Nipponbashi etc etc with these station and at most, changed lines once, all at easy stations that had english. I love Japan and if we go back to Osaka, we'd stay here again.

I love staying at this place, it makes you feel that you're staying at home. The place is spacious, clean and has everything that you need like a home should - from coin laundry, microwave, mid size refrigerator & kitchen wares, perfect if you're travelling in groups. It's only 15 minutes away from Osaka Park / Osaka Castle by foot and has nice restaurants and bakery nearby, not to mention convenience stores left & right. The nearest train station is only 5 minutes away. I'll definitely stay at this place again should I return to Osaka :)

Weekly Mansion is probrably the cheapest & spacious hotel you can get. It's definately your choice if you are travel in a group or with family. The hotel is around 8 minute walking distance to the nearest subway station and the front desk only work from 8am-8pm but considering the price you are paying, it's still a very great value hotel.

We stayed in a family suite for 3pax. In this unit consist of 2 bedrms, 1 queen size bed, 2 single beds,1 kitchen/dining area, 1 belcony. Cooking utensils, microwave n stove provided. Nice small apt to stay in. Towels hv to bring down for change by yourself. No cleaning service provided to the room during the stay, so hv to keep it clean yourself. Watch out for checking out time as i was charged 1050yen for 10mins late checkout.

the stay at this hotel was very satisfying. the neighbor was quite but still convenient enough to grab something to eat and get on the subway system. hotel crew were kind and helpful. the facility was convenient. room was larger than i expected from japanese hotels. kitchen was small though well functioning. beds were soft and comfortable. although the internet wasn't fast enough for me but that's how japan is in the urban area. considering the price, this is definitely going to be my hotel next time when i visit osaka.

Clean, affordable hotel, very spacious, location is okay, good value for money. Good for someone who wants bigger space for big luggage.

Very helpful staff, great location, minutes from the Osaka Castle, clean 2 bedrooms and a kitchen for a great price. You cannot not beat this price anywhere let alone Japan.

If you are experienced Budget Traveller and no need extra Hotel Service or too much attention. And, if you concern Environment, it is an excellent Budget Hotel. You just need to keep your room clean yourself. You take away your garbage daily. You take your old towel to front desk and exchange for fresh Towel only if necessary, help environment!!. Just less than 10 min easy walk to Tanimachi Yonchome station, Exit #4. About 15 Min to JR station TENNOJI from Tanimachi Yonchome. Just a few metro station (about 250Yen) away to Major shopping area. Convenient stores at the corner. Supermarket 3 blocks away. Restaurant next door and within 3 min. Historic site (Osakajo) in walking distance. Room has kitchen, fridge, microwave, toilette, LCD TV, High speed cable internet! English Speaking Staff. Just note staff work till 8pm only so must use your key to open front door after 8pm. Have a good and fun Stay!!

Location, price, arrangement........are good, but the name seems easy to forget!

Nice small hotel that caters to foreigners. About a 5 min walk from Tanimachi 4-Chome Subway Station that connects to JR Rail. In a very nice and safe area with a lot of convenience stores and restaurants. Very small bathroom, but nice size room overall with a simple interior. Great economic price for ones looking to save a little.

the apartment suits family trip, we got cooking facilities, a living room and 3 individual bedrooms insided.

Great place to stay. We had 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and the multi-room bathroom area. Maybe not the most exciting neighborhood, but near to the castle and some good coffee shops. Difficult to find WiFi and the computers in the lobby were broken during our stay. I will definitely stay again. If taking subway, get out at Tanimachi4chome exit #3.

Weekly Mansion at Otemae is conveniently located near Tanamachi Chome 4 station, Osaka castle and museums are within walking distance. There are also many cheap restaurants around the area and convenience stores. The room was clean and wildly spacious for Japan, with two beds, table and chairs. Great value for a family.

I stayed here for 2 nights recently on a leisurely trip to Osaka & Kyoto. While the hotel was conveniently located close to the Osaka Castle & museums as advertised, it left much lacking in service. First, I requested 2 non-smoking rooms and got one smoking, one non-smoking. Because we checked in at night we weren't able to switch the smoking room which stunk of wet cigarettes (I had to wash my entire suitcase, even the unworn clothes, to get rid of the smell). Second, we checked in at 9pm, however the front desk (that is literally what it is..not a concierge) is closed at 8pm, so it took us 15 minutes to figure out how to contact management to allow us to check in. There was no sign or indication as to how to check in at night - if the other patrons in the "lobby" (two folding chairs next to the door) hadn't told us, we probably would have left. Finally, this hotel has absolutely no amenities. No wireless, the entire hotel stinks, thin walls and windows, no calling between rooms, no AC in common areas, not even a lobby. It may be a good, cheap hotel for regular business travelers - but not worth the hassle if you are visiting for 1 or 2 nights.

The hotel is quite conveniently located near the train station and OSAKA Castle. What is not convenient about the hotel is its check in and check out time: Check in 16:00 and check out 10:00.

Excellent Location with many restaurants! There is one good supermarket as well! Transport is good with nearest station a couple hundreds meters away. The room is twice as large as your normal Japanese hotel room.

Our twin room was large by Japan standards and very clean with new linoleum floor. The kitchenette was very good for preparing meals and the ground floor laundry was very handy. Location is easy walking distance to Osaka Castle and is on the Taminachi 4 chome subway.

The Weekly Mansion is a no frills apartment, but is excellent value. We stayed for 8 nights in a two separate bedroom spacious room, beds were comfortable and clean, a good kitchen with oven and microwave, plasma TV (only CNN in English) with a very cheap movie option. The bathroom is functional. The staff were excellent and friendly. The location is perfect for walking to the Castle and Museum and is very close to many restaurants, coffee shops and small supermarkets. It is very close to several subway stations (Tanimachi 4 is the closest) and is easy to get to every part of the city and to Nara and Kyoto. Signs are in English and the ticket machines are in English and easy and cheap to use. If you want a good, clean but basic hotel to stay then this is a great option. It is in a safe and relatively quiet area. Taxi from Shin Osaka was only 2500Y. Strongly recommend

A great place for family who wants an apartment style of stay (esp. for longer stay). You can cook in the apartment and there are many convenient stores & restaurants nearby. Coin laundry is also available. Train station is not far (about 5min walk).

Great value room in a good location for the subway. The room could have been a little bit cleaner/renovated but it was more than reasonable considering the price point. A very useful place to stop over more than a few days without buring a large hole in your budget, Basic but large room, kitchenette, microwave, lan internet etc all very convienient, I would also like to thank the friendly staff

Big and spacious room with a mini kitchen. You can make your own meals in the room after buying some ingredients from the nearby convenient stores. It is also about 5 to 10mins walk to Tanimachi Yon Chome Station. During the night it is also very quiet so that sound sleepers can sleep in peace :)

The whole place smelled of smoke, the 2 internet kiosks were out, there were no instructions on how to turn on the hot water - and no available staff after 10p- so no way to solve the problem. And no house-cleaning- except for an additional fee. It's worth the extra $5 to stay someplace better!

If you want a cheap no-frills, foreigner friendly hotel in Osaka this is the one. It's just a couple blocks from the subway station with 2 main lines, there's an on-site laundry, and my room had a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, cups and dishes, even a Rice cooker! The room was pretty big by Japan standards. not the most plush hotel, but if you just need a basic inexpensive place to stay for a few days go for it. Next time I go to Osaka for an extended stay I'd definitely stay here again.

The Weekly Mansions in Japan are literally rentable apartments. If you're travelling in a group, you can fit lots of people in these and the price is fixed. It has a full kitchen, huge balcony, and feels Japanese. I think that some Japanese people actually live at these places because the price is good enough.

Since living in Japan is expansive, the weekly mansion in Osaka is a good choice for those think hotels are expansive. The weekly mansion is definitely not a hotel so it will give u room service unless u told the m the day before. Overall it is comfort to stay
