We ate our evening meal in the hotel. The restaurant seemed set out in the open of the lobby. The proportions were small, yet expensive. The server glowered throughout the time we were ordering and eating. It was as though we were interrupting his day. The wonderful thing about the hotel is its location. Apart from that, we would not return. However, we shall stay there again, because the location is ideal for our plans. The reception was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, which we appreciated.

The only positive with this hotel is the location as it's walkable (almost attached) to the airport. Food and service are just OK as is the overall feeling at the hotel iteself. I would probably stay elsewhere next time unless airport location is critical.

clean, comfortable, nice Finnish design, good breakfast buffet. Only "complaint" is that it is a bit of a walk from the terminals and the signage is not great. Glad I did not have to do that walk when it was snowing! Use a baggage cart from airport to drag your bags over - but there probably will not be any outside when you need to return to the airport. That aside, good airport hotel and reasonable price.

9 euro for added room service is a bit much 25 euro for breakfast? ...but those are extras. Room was clean and comfortable and if you need a place in walking distance to the airport,well that's it...

The best location of airport hotel if you need to take the next morning flight, very convenience.

Rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is great. The staff are attentive and helpful. Charging for Wi-Fi in your room and having free wi-fi in public areas is old school. Other local alternatives have free wi-fi in all areas.

It was a fantastic place to come to Hilton Hotel after a very hard day in meetings and travelling. The bed was fantastic and I got a wonderful rest for the meetings next day

Conveniently located at the airport (although a longer walk away than you might expect, especially in winter when the walkways may be snow-covered). The hotel might not suit all tastes, but it is very clean and the bathroom floor is - luxury! - heated. We were able to check in for our flight right there in the hotel lobby (electronic check-in).

Hotel is adjacent to the airport, very convenient. Room was clean, bathroom nice. They also wanted 25e per person for breakfast which didn't start serving until 6 am. Very inconvenient when one has an early flight. Also if one wanted internet in one's room, that was another 10e. Extortion. Much better to stay at the Cumulus where internet and breakfast are free and breakfast is served at 4:30 am. Very disappointing to stay at the Hilton and not worth the money.

Hilton Helsinki Airport locates just very few steps away from the airport. We have stayed at this hotel once before and it´s very nice way to start the vacation before the fly or end the vacation after the fly. Rooms are very nice and lightly. I´ll hope some day to come again this hotel.

Nice restaurant. Room was not bad The room service from our neighbors was sitting in the hallway all weekend. A bit depressing to see the red carnation wilt away, day by day...

Very good. We stayed just one night because we had to catch an early morning flight. Only draw back was that internet access costs.

Allways a good night sleep in Hilton Vantaa airport. Good beds.

This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 3 week trip to Europe. However, we used our free night on Hotels.com so we didn't pay for it. It is fine for a night with an early flight. The hotel is not charming like many of the places we stayed but it is very nice. All the toiletries you could think of are there. The bathroom floors heated slate and so warm. There is a tub and a separate shower and lots of space. You can see the planes but you can't hear them. The only problem we had was the draining tub starting flooding our floor so we couldn't let it drain. If we weren't paying attention the floor might have made a huge mess. We told the front desk when we left.

This hotel is wonderful for someone connecting passengers who need a hotel room at the airport - I had a 23 hour layover and was ill when I arrived so I went to bed immediately - but I needed aspirin and antiseptics and had to go back to the airport for it cause they have no gift shop nor convenience items - highly unusual in this day. I had to go back outside and it was cool so I came back sneezing but the hotel was great other than that and I asked for help trying to retrieve an item left in a cab but the front desk staff never got back to me.

I'll start with the only negative: it is hard to find how to get there, although you can see it from everywhere. go to the Arrivals floor at terminal 2, and look for signs outside to the right of the terminal leading you to a covered pathway taking you to the hotel. It is poorly signed. But it is the most comfortable hotel I've ever slept in in Helsinki: the rooms are completely at par with my sense of decoration, clean cut lines, everything is pristine clean, and the bed is (finally) comfortable by US standards.(Finnish beds tend to be narrow, mattresses thin, and it is usually not a pleasant night). Too bad I only stay there when I have a ridiculously early flight, so I never really get to truly enjoy it. It is also the only hotel in the world where I feel comfortable enough to take a bath in the luxuriously large soaking tub .... and yes, it shines and squeaks with cleanliness. It is well priced, about 200 meter walk away from your check in desk - an absolute pleasure to stay at, highly recommend.

Great location next to the airport, and the best hotel if you do not need to be in the City. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Basic rooms do not include a free wifi, which could be expensive if staying for more than one night. Worth upgrading room to use Exec lounge.

Great location when you arrive late at the airport and on transit for a short stay, good night sleep and only a few metre away from the terminal (if you arive at T2 remember to go to T1 first to make your way to the hotel it;s easier and you won't have to walk outside in case of rain). Hotel staff very helpful and rooms very clean. Will stay again.

A beautiful hotel throughout. Super convenient. Covered walkways to the airport and easy access to buses travelling to Helsinki. Highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is very conveniant if you have an early morning flight. It is located practically on the airport itself. Nonetheless, you don't hear any noise. My children enjoyed the view and watched the planes arriving and landing. The hotel is very stylish, clean and fairly priced. Two bus lines bring you from the airport to downtown. The ride takes 30 min. You can catch one of the buses every 10 min. The breakfast buffet is great. The only (minor) complaint - the staff in the breakfast restaurant could have been a little friendlier. Over all - highly recommendable for a short stays and/or and early morning flights. The surroundings (airport) are of course not very nice.

Excellent hotel.

Taxi driver didn't know where the hotel was, but it was well marked from the access to the airport. You can't hear the airport at all although it is literally next door,. The access to the airport is a covered walkway to the terminal from the hotel which is nice. Unfortunately people bring the luggage carts along and they're not cleared and you may have to lift your luggage over them to get to the elevator etc. Teacups in the room were a little dingy and suspicious for someone just rinsing and not washing them (easy fix). The lighting and everything else was just lovely and convenient. My only regret is that I didn't realize that there is a surcharge for internet access, which is kinda odd considering that most airlines now do check in online only. So do add that extra cost to the cost of the room, you will pay it no matter how short your stay.

This hotel is very convenient to the airport, for a quick overnight stay to catch an early flight.

This Hilton is just like all other Hiltons. Very nice, excellent serevice, reliable, etc. Also expensive and add on charges for internet make it a little pricey if not on expense account. Less than a 5 minute walk to Terminal 2, all covered, leave 10 minutes for Terminal 1. Did not notice any aircraft noise. Staff was helpful, and seem to know everything about the airport, airlines, and flights. Nothing else to do within walking distance, but great for making flight connections.

Perfect for the early morning flt! Beautiful new hotel within walking distance (under 500m) of arrival terminal. Great staff. Wonderful restaurant.

I stayed overnight with my family so we could catch an early morning flight. The hotel is connected by covered walkway to the airport but so well soundproofed you would never know you were next to a runway. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were very comfortable. My only complaint was that there were no TV channels for the kids despite Cartoon Network and the Disney Channels being advertised in the guide material. But the cost of the stay was about half what we saved by taking an early morning flight, so well worth considering if you have the time.

Funky, modern Finnish design is cool but sometimes annoying (e.g., you can see into the bathroom from the bed area with no way to block it off, etc.). Note that the hotel is a 10-20 minute walk from the airport building (depending on which terminal you are coming from). It's a covered outdoor walkway, so think twice if you are travelling in winter or with a lot of baggage-there is another (more expensive) hotel in the airport itself.

Great hotel - beautiful, Scandinavian stylish, hotel, now almost 2 years old. Covered walking to international terminal (200m). Left to early for the breakfast, but the dinner was one of the best I had during the entire 2 weeks in Finland. Only stay there though if you have an early or late flight...it's an airport hotel w/nothing within walking distance.

Erittain tyytyvainen.

Erittäin siistit ja viihtyisät huoneet, erinomainen aamiainen ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hotelli on erinomainen valinta, kun tarvitset hotellin esim. yhdeksi yöksi jatkoyhteyksien vuoksi. Ainut miinus on suhteellisen kallis hinta.

Palveli erittäin hyvin perheemme tarvetta. Hotellihuone oli siisti ja hyvin äänieristetty, palvelu ystävällistä ja nopeaa. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen, kun haluaa yöpyä lentokentän välittömässä läheisyydessä.

Tulimme klo 23.20 ja tarkoitus oli yöpyä lähellä kenttää aikaisen lennon vuoksi. Pyysimme herätyksen seurueemme kahteen huoneeseen klo 04.15. Toinen sai herätyksen ja toinen ei, sillä seurauksella että olimme myöhästyä lennolta, vaikka jätimme aamusuihkun, hampaiden pesun ja aamiaisen väliin. Tämä ei voi olla mahdollista hotellissa jonka liikeideaan kuuluu lennolle lähtijöiden palvelu. Poistakaa tällaisen mahdollisuus järjestelmästänne.
