Suite Novotel Lille Europe is a great modern hotel next to the Eurostar station and a massive shopping centre. Despite all that the room was completely noise free. The hotel is only 10 minute walk away from the historic part of Lille. We were nicely surprised by being able to check in a bit earlier, even more surprised by all the latest blockbusters for free and a microwave in the room. Nice and helpful staff. Great value for money - a lot cheaper and better 4* hotel than anywhere in south of Europe. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Excellent location, just a couple of minutes' walk from the Eurostar, and extremely friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was perfect for the short trip to the Christmas market in Lille, ideal position for the town centre 10 minute easy walk and literally 2 minutes from the Euro Star terminal, the hotel was lovely and comfortable nice and bright and staff first class, would certainly stay again.

Very close to all sites in Lille, very convenient and excellent service. The room is large with a day bed and a microwave if you want to save money on food. The free movies are a real bonus, and to get a bath and separate shower is great. Really excellent value!

I,did like and I was impressed with staff. assistance and the hotel quality its good, and would like to come and stay again, only one thing didn't work properly is the wi-fi internet

This excellent hotel is convienetly located within a 5 minuet walk to the centre of lille and is situated opposite the main train station, but there is now problem with noise. Parking is situated under the hotel and is secure but will cost over 20Euro for 24 hrs, If your staying at the weekend you can park on the surrounding streets for free after 7pm and all day sunday. The rooms are large with a pull out partition ideal for families and has excellent facilities large bathroom with seperate W/C, microwave, fridge, safe and free music, films and tv. we also found the staff to be very helpful and polite. we would definatly stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is great. The rooms are very large, clean and provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's a 5-10 minute walk in to the centre of Lille which means breakfast is a short walk to a quaint street cafe. Only small negative is parking, which is an issue in Lille. The car parks are expensive (~20 Euro/day) and the hotel failed to mention the surrounding streets are free to park overnight and all day Sunday.

The Novotel Suite Lille is extremely clean, modern, has big comfortable rooms (with a separate toilet, a bathroom with a shower cabin and a bathtub, a couch, a table, a microwave etc) and has perfect sound isolation. It's just next to the Lille Europe station and a 5 minutes walk to the centre of Lille. It is not luxurious, but extremely comfortable. Less important, but also nice: internet works perfect and movies, mineral water, tea, biscuits in the room are offered by the hotel. Good breakfast buffet (not included if you book by hotels.com) for 13 euros per person served in the very nice reception hall of the hotel. No English breakfast and those kind of things, but a variety of bread, cheeses, fruit and many biological products. Definitely very good price / quality ratio. If you are sensitive to noise (as I am), ask for a room on the 11th and last floor. It will be impossible to hear any sound from the street and you won't here any sound from inside the hotel anyway. This is the first time I write such a positive review.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and found the whole experience very pleasant. Just across the street from Eurostar arrival, it is very quiet and very convenient for access to the city's shops, sights and restaurants. Very friendly and efficient staff. The room was very clean ,spacious and comfortable.

If you arrive by Eurostar, the hotel is directly across the road from the station exit, which is extremely convenient. The lobby area is light and spacious, with colourful lamps and seating giving a cheerful look to the hotel. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful, giving us useful information for our stay. The initial impression of our room was a little negative, as the over-bright colours, and ugly chunky furniture on big wheels made it look more like a young children's playschool than an adult's hotel room. However, the room was a good size, and well equipped, with enough storage spaces for suitcases and your clothes, and well sound-proofed. The bed was large, very comfortable and with good quality bedlinen. The room had a separate toilet, in a tiny space about the size of the toilet on an aircraft. The bathroom itself was a good size, with a decent size bath and a shower cubicle. Breakfast was served at the back of the lobby area. It was a cramped area for the numbers taking breakfast and the food kept running out - with some delays in restocking the foods. It was a selection of cold foods, but the quality, freshness and flavours were good. Overall, this hotel was excellent value and conveniently located. The room layout and the basic furnishings in the bedroom may be more appropriate for families with young children than for adult couples.

Convenient if you have luggages, just across from the Train station and it's cheaper than Crown Plaza! 10-15 mins walk to the city center!

What you'd expect from a hotel right next to the RR station but rooms are quiet with no traffic noise due to double windows. Thoughtful! Modern accents, comfortable and clean rooms. Staff's knowledge of english passable. Easy to return rental vehicles to undeground parking beneath hotel. Didn't sample restaurant but generous tidbits were complimentary in the rooms. Walking distance to good shopping and dining.

A short walk over the bridge from the main train station.Possible to drag your case there. A good walk to the main square to eat and home again. Next to Eurolille Europe's largest shopping complex, check out the fashions! Good prices Adjacent to Eurostar terminal. Functional and funky roomy accommo well planned and designed Snack freebies in room a Carrefours store adjacent for all your dining/snack needs Very quiet (double glazing) even though by a busy road Spacious room, bigger than anywhere else we stayed in the UK and France good reception area and amenities provided there good dining nearby staff recommended somewhere to dine and it was seriously good and authentic Nth France food

Great hotel in a great location. It is just a 2 minute walk from the Euralille station, 4 minutes from the Euralille shopping complex and just a 10 minute walk from the old town. Lovely, clean and comfortable hotel, with a nice selection of complimentary pieces to help settle you in (tea bags, milk, sweets, a bottle of water and a couple of mini cakes!). The room was very quiet (2nd floor) and secure. Great hotel - nothing to complain about!

Suite Novotel was excellent. The staff were friendly and spoke good English which was a help for Kiwis who were having a bit of a struggle with the French language. The rooms were spacious, quiet and very comfortable. It was also very well located with just a short walk to the city center. Over the bridge is a huge mall where you can buy everything, and we also had delicious lunches at the Brasserie des Sports there. It is also just across the road from the Eurostar Station which is very handy.

We stayed at the Novotel in Lille for four days. We have two young kids and stayed in a bedroom with a double bed and 2 singles. The room had a pull out partition which was nice. We were pleasantly surprised to find a small kitchenette area with sink, small fridge and microwave, ideal for warming up the kids foods or having breakfast, to save a few pennies. The room had seperate toilet and sink, plus bath with shower head and shower cubicle! The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Good air conditioning. Really quiet room. Free movies and internet in the room, and lost of kids' movies! The location is excellent. It's right next to the Gare Lille Europe. So we stepped out of our Eurostar train and walked into the hotel within 5 minutes. (It's behind the station). The rooms are really quiet though, with triple glazing. The Euralille shopping centre is right next door with plenty of restaurants and good shops, plus a massive Hypermarket where we could get treats and things like milk and water, fruit, etc. to take back to the hotel room. We walked to all the sights, only used the metro once on a rainy day. I would say the hotel is about 15-20 min walk from most attractions, but only 10 min walk from Place Rihour where a lot of the restaurants are. Highly recommend it and I would definietly stay there again. Tip: the hotel's breakfast is expensive (£13) and most cafes and restaurants don't open until 11am, so we ended up going to Paul (bakery/patisserie) almost every morning. There are 2 in the Eurallile shopping centre. One is for take aways and one for sitting down. They don't do hot breakfasts, but their waffles, croissants, etc are fab!

The hotel is outside the main train station for Eurostar and France's inter-city trains, walk out of the door and it's there. I wondered when I arrived how far the town was by foot as the hotel appeared to be in the middle of an industrial estate. No worries though, the Novotel is very close to the town, a couple of minute walk in fact either over the bridge or through the train station (which had various cafes and shops). The location is excellent, there is a secure car park next door (20 Euros per day). There is another local train and metro station (Lille Flanders) about a 2 minute walk. The hotel is very nice, very new, colourful and hip. Nice lobby area with several seats, free newspapers and a bar that seems to be open very late, i.e. past 1am. There are also various food and drink items for sale in the lobby area, very convenient. Amazingly, there were two electric bicycles available to use, I think for free, likewise free Smart cars if one is staying 4 days or more, incredible. Reception were very efficient and very helpful. Housekeeping were very good. I stayed in a Premier suite room (I large double, 1 single in the corner of the room, 1 pull out single from behind the double). The beds were great, probably high quality latex or memory foam. Comfort was up there with the best. The room was spacious & clean, with a bathroom/shower and separate toilet built within a large pod-type structure, all of which were spotless. Were was also a small kitchen area built within the pod that had a useful sink, fridge and microwave oven. Tea, coffee, biscuits and other hot drinks were available for free. Also included was a proper sized kettle. Most unusual and greatly appreciated. There was a large movable table to use with comfortable chairs and a movable TV unit with a completely free film package with a wide selection of new and classic films - one would normally have to pay about 20 Euros for that in other hotels. There was free WiFi and a cabled Ethernet conn

Great hotel, used a couple of times and will be first choice next time. Super for kids

Easy access from Eurostar, not far from centre. Good soundproofing. Excellent equipped rooms (mini kitchen lots of space, seperate batrooma and toilet, good toiletry pack) Extra facilities include ironing room and mini gym. Friendly staff. If you want to save on breakfast shop at Carrefour across the road and take back to room.

This is a great family oriented hotel. Travelling with 2 small children the room was well laid out and very clean. There is a divider that you can pull across to seperate the main bed from the two single beds. The real standout for me however was how friendly the staff were. Every time we spoke to them for a map of the local area, a bucket of ice for our room and even a power adapter, they were extremely helpful and friendly.

Found this hotel superb for family rooms - the rooms are massive, and have a lovely screen that you can pull back when you want to seperate the double bed from the two singles. Looks like it has recently been done up, and could not fault the room. Did not go for the 12Euro breakfast, but instead did the 5 min walk to EuroLille for a fresh bakery which made some lovely croissants

Very clean and modern. We were a family of 4 and the room was big enough to cater for us all. Staff friendly and polite. The only downside is that the hotel does not have its own parking so we had to pay 21Euro to park in the public car park.

Right by the station. No parking provided but plenty of nearby stret parking. Short stroll into Lille. Lovely new modern hotel. Stayed one night with the family, could not fault. would advise skipping the expensive breakfast and walking into Lille

This is probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was huge and very comfortable and the distance to two main stations (including a Eurostar terminal) was less than a minute away. I would highly recommend this hotel either for an over night stay or for a weekend away. Fantastic service! Would definitely stay again

Ideal for train station as it is right across ; 10 mins walk to Grand palace , very modern hotel so no character but good value for money

We had a great stay in Lille. The hotel was in an excellent position very near the Eurostar station and also very close to the centre of town. We found the staff very helpfull and very enthusiastic about Lille! Our short stay was really enhanced by our hotel and its staff. We will go back and enjoy another relaxed weekend. My Husband has also stayed here on a business trip and recommended it for our girls weekend.

Fantastic hotel, large rooms one of the best we have stayed in ideal for family and fairly cheaply priced

This hotel is in an excellent location for those using the Lille Europe train station. It is opposite one of the exits of the station.

We went to Lille to visit the Christmas market. The hotel was very comfortable and modern. More a 4* than 3*. It is very close to the main shopping area (grand plaza) and the Christmas market (a 5-10 minute walk away). Staff very helpful and friendly. We had a triple room which was large enough for us all with plenty of space to chill out. Bonus of having free up to date movies to watch. Only downside is there is no parking so we had to pay to park in the car park next door.

What a great place to stay. So close to the train station, to the shopping centers, town. And the hotel concept is great, 3 adults in the room and it worked out perfectly. The staff are very friendly and helpeful, the lobby is comfortable, and the overall experience a definite plus. Highly recommended it.

We were impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the comfort size and quietness of the room and the variety available at breakfast. An extremely convenient location: very close to stations and a short walk to the centre of Lille with its good restaurants, shops and sights.
