Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel - تاريتاون

The hotel was very nice, but the room was a little small.

It was great, but there are no refrigerators in the rooms?!?! Otherwise it was great!!! Clean, good service, nice pool & work out facility. Very nice.

The ice machine on our floor was out of order and necessitated my going to another floor. We stayed overnight for a wedding which included breakfast the next morning. Time was specified from 7:30 to l0:30 but the doors to the breakfast buffet were closed at l0:00 am. Other than that, everything was fine. Shower was large and shower head was refreshing.

the thing I didnt like about the room was there was no refrigerator, no microwave, and you had to pay for wifi.

We had a great stay in this hotel. There were two things that were negative. Firsts of all, they didn't serve food at the Lounge Club as they're suppose to. We have to go to the hotel restaurant every time for our breakfast and appetizers. Also we found a rotten apple in the trash can as soon as we arrived in our room. Other our stay should have been perfect.

Ive stayed here before. Really enjoyed it last time and it was even better this time. Nice clean rooms, staff are very polite, friendly and courteous. Staff have good knowledge of area and how to commute in to NYC. Grocery store in parking lot recently opened. Very good for those who want to pick up water, fruit, snacks, etc. One thing that was inconvenient: no fridge in the room. Other than that, everything was superb.

No refrig. in room, for price should be included. DO not get room near elevator had to change to loud. Dining area to small. Took to long for food to arrive, but waiters were pleasant.

We booked this hotel thinking that in our down time the kids could relax in the pool in December. The pool is slightly larger than a bathtub. With other people in the pool, it made them very uncomfortable. Needless to say, no pool time.

This was our first time visiting the new York area and was impressed with the hotel, staff, ans easy access to the city. Highly recommend it for familes with young kids. Suggest getting the club level if travelling with kids. Will definatly stay there again.

We stayed here for two nights and it was great. Very clean, the room was small but comfortable. Great bed and linens, clean nice bath. Used the small, but warm pool and spa. The gym was very well appointed. Would def stay again or recommend. Very easy to get to off the highway, and minutes from Tarrytown and Sleepy Hallow.

Our brief stay at the Sheraton during the storm (power outage at home) was a blessing. Although there was construction next door and we were awakenedearly to loud noises because of it,it was still a very comfortabe stay and we were thankful to have been able to have our dog with us.

The Sheraton at Tarrytown is a nice hotel. The room was clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the shuttle service to and from train station was wonderful!

I arrived at 8 PM and clerk told me that my reservation for a room with King size bed was not available as the hotel had over booked. I was told only rooms with two twin size beds were available. A asked for a reduction in rate as the they had sold my prepaid room, and she said none was available. A second clerk overheard the conversation and found a room with a king size bed. I then asked for a bellhop for help with my luggage (two large suitcases). The clerk said she would call someone. After 20 minutes when no one came, the second desk clerk who had given us the room decided that she could help with the luggage and took us to the room. This clerk was very helpful and considerate. The room was comfortable and clean, although one lamp had a burned-out light bulb and a second lamp had a broken switch. The exercise room and pool were small but usuable.

The room was clean and the decor was amazing. Ordered room service and the portions were generous. I would recommend and stay at this hotel again and again.

I was only there for one night but it was a nice quiet hotel with friendly staff. I have no complaints.

This was one of my best hotel experiences ever. It was easy to find the hotel. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The bed was fabulously comfortable. You can tell that it is a well-run establishment, and I highly recommend anyone in the area to stay here!

We wanted to take the family to NYC over Christmas break - and the price was great for staying 30 mins outside the city. #1. The customer service was excellent, friendly front desk staff went out of their way to make our family feel welcome. We had our 7 and 4 year old children with us, and they helped out a lot - even getting some board games from behind the front desk for the kids to play in the lobby while my wife and I figured out our plan. #2. The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean and comfortable - not very big or deep - but plenty for the family to have a great time. #3. Free hotel shuttle available to bring us to and from the train station. #4. There is no free wifi in the hotel - even in the lobby - which was annoying. We had an ipad with us, which we basically couldn't use to research our destinations. However there were 2 free kiosks (windows based -yech!) in the lobby for guest use. It was an extra $10/day to use the wifi - and that just seemed excessive. #5. Free coffee in the lobby, cookies in the afternoon - but no free breakfast of any kind. 4 different free papers to choose from. #6. Lots of TVs on in random places - showing Fox News and CNBC with the volume on. I personally can't stand cable tv news - especially in public places. #7. Lots of very decent restaurants in Tarrytown just a few mins away - great mexican called "Santa Fe" and a good pizza shop and bagel place could be found in the Shop and Stop plaza down the street. Overall, we had a great stay - the price was very reasonable - the facilities were beautiful and the service was friendly and attentive. We would definitely come back again.

We stayed here while visiting family for Christmas. There was always a fire in the fireplace in the lobby and we were greeted everytime by desk personnel. Several morning newspapers were available free of charge in the lobby. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the window shades kept the room dark long after sunrise (a plus for me who awakes at the first crack of dawn). Even though our room was across from the maids storage area, we never heard any noise coming from them or other guests in the hallways-no door slamming-very quiet hotel! The only problem was a tub drain that didn't work and we had to lift it out in order to get the water to drain. A suggestion for the hotel. We like the green option of not needing daily linen changes. In other hotels the card to designate that is placed on the bed. This hotel printed it as a hang card and left it with the "do not disturb" card on the door handle. Unfortunately, we didn't find it until our second day. Placing them on the bed would make it easier to find. the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the desk was placed at the end of the room and integrated into the heating system giving more room. The chair was extremely comfortable for reading and the lighting was great. All in all, a very comfortable hotel. I will defintely stay there again!!

Our stay was more than satisfactory, clean, comfortable, convenient travel to family . Would like to have had hotel shuttle to Westchester airport, White Plains, the charge would be paid by passenger to/from airport. Will reserve again in near future, recommend to all staying at Sheraton Tarrytown, N.Y.

This hotel is modern in a great area. I definitely will stay there again.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The location is easy to find and convenient if you have a car. You can't walk to anything, but there is shuttle service. We took the shuttle to the Tarrytown train station in the morning, a 5 minute drive, but had to call a cab to return in the afternoon because the shuttle was booked for a wedding. The front desk did provide the number for the taxi company.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay. The distance from all the activity in new york was over a hour ( we drive to 242 street and switch to subway) which was expected. we enjoyed our state and would use this hotel again

very clean, restaurant in house served great simple pub food.

Great service, great rooms-the be is really comfy. Very clean.We came by train from NYC. The shuttle provided by the hotel is great .Basically they will drive you where ever you want to go and then pick you up when you call them. The food in the hotel restaurant is also very good and the service there is also very good. We enjoyed the gym and the swimming-pool as well.

My fiance and I stayed at the Sheraton and had a very nice time. The people were very polite and the hotel was very clean. I especially loved the bathroom because it extremely spacious. Most times when you go to hotels, the bathrooms are very small and only one person can fit in the bathroom at a time. The decor was beautiful. I felt very relaxed and comfortable. I would definitely go back to that hotel. It was close to major highways and restaurants. I also liked the fact that they had a screen in the lobby letting you know about flight schedules from the 3 major airports in the area.

We had one night in Tarrytown for convenience sake - we'd been on a party boat out of Peekskill and did not want to drive back to South Jersey. Our stay was pleasant; rooms are clean, bathroom is nice; beds are VERY comfortable. We had breakfast at the hotel and it's a little expensive, but very good. Hotel restaurant employees were efficient and pleasant. Decor is a little dark and outdated and attendant at check in was a little abrupt, but other than that, we had a delightful experience. Attendant at check out was pleasant and smiling.

We stayed there for one night and it was pretty pleasant. People were very nice. Our room was cleaned. The bathroom was also very nice. I know that some people complained about Internet access at the hotel but I did not have any problems with it. It was fast and I was able to watch streaming movies online. In short, we had a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel to other people.

I was able to get a great discount under the hotel offers and it was a definitely worth it! The hotel was beautiful in a Renaissance kind of way. The reception/check in was very welcoming and not to mention easy. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The bed was quite comfy and everything was in great working condition (with the exception of one of the night lights & the radio). My husband had a little issue with the showers being stall-like and the water kind of spilling into the other area of the bathroom, but I assume that's why they had a drain there. The room service was great - timely, friendly and the food was good. All the way up to the smooth check-out we were very pleased!!

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent for a trip into New York City. Free Shuttle from hotel to train station. Less then a half hour to city on train. I will stay here again on my next trip to New York City. Room could use refrigerator. Staff very friendly.

The room was very satisfactory but the use of the "high speed" internet required a $10 surcharge for 24 hours of access. I found this extra fee to be somewhat objectionable since most hotels now provide internet service free as part of the standard room amenities. Once the fee was agreed to and the internet connection was then made it was so slow in my room as to be unusable. In the morning I requested, and was given, a credit for the access charge..

This hotel is conveniently located in Tarrytown, NY near 287 and the Tappan Zee Bridge. The hotel is very well maintained, rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Staff was very helpful during our stay. I would certainly recommend it.
