Excellent Location, easy to find, but with the wall paper coming off the wall, and narrow pathway to walk, would not return, even if it was free.

Overall ok but bathroom needed curtain and a bit of maintenance. Also it was not mentioned on application regarding choice of bathroom. Staff for breakfast time was very friendly and bubbly.

The staff are friendly and helpful; the accommodation is basic, but clean; and the location is very convenient for Metro as well as Nord and Est stations. Neighbourhood seemed a bit doubtful after dark.

The location was perfect for us, We had early morning trains and being right by Gare Du Nord was the reason we picked it. We had a quadruple room wich was very dated and in need of repair , the wall paper had been ripped off in parts. BUT it was a cheap hotel in a location we needed so we didnt have very high expectations. I ended up getting another room for myself as my fellow travellers were big snorer's and the double room was in much better condition. The breakfast was ok, you had to wait for them to bring the crossants out then run to grab one because as always there is greedy people that pile their plates high , so some mornings we just went tot he bakery 2 doors up ! I would stay there again if I needed to be near the train station.

The hotel room was small...I mean really really small...just about a feet or two around a double bed. The room wasn't very clean either. The hotel personel were fairly helpful though...however one of them was not what I'd describe as hospitable. The only good thing about the hotel is its proximity to Gare du Nord, about 5 minutes walk. I would definitely not bother with this place again.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Gare de l'Est (1 minute walking). The room was in poor condition: stained carpet, old, cheap blankets, leaking toilet, no shower (only bath tub with shower head), only three towels for three persons, so no separate towels for hand washing and shower. The first receptionist wasn't cooperative in getting us two more towels, it took us to the 2nd night to get additional. The internet connection to all four hubs was overloaded, i.e. login was not possible. Once logged in, it failed every few minutes and when it was available it was fairly slow (7Kb/s) - but the login problems and the stability were the bigger problems. Elevator noise kept us up all night. There were some stains from a run-off liquid visible on the desk, indicating a not too detailed cleaning.

All i can say about this place it was a place to sleep the room was old the walpaper was coming off the wall and the walls were thin we could here the man in the next room using the bathroom.

Not very modern but clean, good located (close to different metro and train stations), staff speaks English (sometimes unwilling :)) and is helpful

The hotel is simple, but very organized and clean. It's a hotel just to pass the night. It's well located. I recommend it.

I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. First time i saw such a filthy hotel. The room was very small, it was so uncomfortable and the whole room was stinking bad. We couldn't open the window as the weather was too cold. The carpet had lot of stains. There was no AC. The bed spread and blanket was also very dirty. I would never recommend this hotel.

When visiting Paris for a weekend away, one rarely want to spend a lot of time in the hotel. For the money-strapped traveller booking their Eurostar tickets well in advance to get the cheapest rate, this is a hotel to consider for further savings. My ratings reflect on the fact that this is only a 2-star hotel, which is why its so affordable. There are no frills, but also no spills! The hotel was very clean, with clean towels provided each day. Not much is provided in terms of toiletries, but I always take my own in any case. The staff were very friendly, especially the day staff. Free Internet is provided with good access on each floor at decent speeds. The only issue was with the area, which was a bit noisy over the weekend. In my opinion this is a very good hotel considering the price and the star rating, and is extremely well located for access to any area in Paris from either Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est.

The hotel is located in a very handy area close to North and East stations. It was quite important for us coming from UK by EuroStar. The room was just enough for 3 of us as we were expecting from the budget rate. The bath really needs a curtain and some mold cleaning! Breakfast was reasonable, although it was not buffet as indicated. The location is great. It is almost in walking distance to a lot of sightseeing places. The staff are quite friendly. Generally if you want to stay in a budget Paris place and use hotel for sleeping, it is a good option. We may try it again in our next visit.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Our room was 10x10, no air conditioning, horrible view of an old crumbling wall. The shower was so small you couldn't bend to wash yourself. TV didn't work. The area of town was kind of scary. The staff was advertised as speaking English, however they didn't understand most everything we tried to ask. The only positive was a pretty decent continental breakfast that was included with the room rent.

This is a "low-end" 2-star hotel, and while the staff is pleasant and there is free wi-fi, the hotel itself is quite shabby, lacking airconditioning, and while quite convenient to 2 train-stations (Gare du Nord and Gare du Est) it is a poor neighborhood so doesn't offer much in terms of nearby restaurants, etc. This is not the place for anyone over 25.

This hotel was in an awful neighbourhood with tramps and other low life hanging around. It was however close to the train station which is a massive positive. The room had clean bedding, clean bathroom and carpets but the walls were in desperate need of a lick of paint. No air conditioning but a fan is provided. The worst thing is the noise from out side which most nights was passable but on the Saturday evening it was appalling and kept me awake from 4.30 onwards. Cheap and in a good position for travelling around but not suitable for families or women travelling alone.

The hotel is near Gare Du Nord which made it very convenient to trains and metro. There is plenty of street noise. The beds were not comfortable. I stayed in room 502. There is a reason they give hotels star ratings and this one lives up to its two stars...however I did stay in a better one star hotel in London.

this hotel was very very bad. the wall paper was hanging off the walls the carpet was very very dirty, the pillows were something else, no pillow slips they put them under the bottom sheet! the sink did not work. they gave us another room but it was not much better. the breakfast staff were very bad for example, when things ran out you had to go into the kitchen and ask them for milk, etc. Dont stay here, there are many hotels in this area, however, the area is very bad. I would stay away from this hotel.

The hotel is very run down and badly in need of a remodel - wallpaper falling off the walls, etc.. The beds have no support whatsoever. No AC, so very hot. Very hard to sleep with window open because of the noise from the street. Lots of drunks singing and yelling very late into the night/ early morning keep you up. WiFi is extremely slow. We couldn't dial out from our room We had booked for 3 nights, but left after one. Spend a few extra dollars and stay in a better hotel.

The location between the two train stations was the highlight of this hotel. The friendliness of the women at check in was a plus also, but they told us our room would be ready at a cetain time but it was not. The internet took was slow when it did work, and onl worked for a short time. I was not even able to check in online for my flight in the morning. We thought the breakfast was included, but we were charged after we ate. I understand that breakfast in France is not a big meal, but the price we were charged for what we got was double what we would have paid at any cafe.

I WOULD SAY IT WAS AN AVERAGE HOTEL, ALTHOUUGH THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND GOOD. THE ROOMS WERE VERY SMALL AND A BIT UNCOMFORTABLE. OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS AVERAGE. IT WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY SPENT. THE ADVANTAGE WAS THAT IT WAS WELL LOCATED, VERY NEAR THE METRO STATIONS. AGAIN,, OVERALL.... AVERAGE....

Friendly staff, room ready early, able to store bags after checkout. Internet didn't work, but everything else was quite adequate for a short stay.

Me and my best friend was looking for a decent but cheap place to stay for a few days for our 4 days 3 nights Paris Trip. The room was as expected for its price- small but decent and clean. We had a double room(which I think is cheaper than Twin bedroom). The bathroom includes bath soap and shampoo, but no toothbrush nor toothpaste. There's also a hair dryer. The bath tub does not have a shower curtain, which made the bathroom a bit wet after taking a shower. There's also heat in the room as well as a portable fan. Oh- and also a TV in the room, but we did not turn it on at all. It is really easy to get around from the hotel, as it is only a few minutes walk to the Paris metro system. The staff is friendly and it was okay to communicate to them in English. Something funny happened during our stay - me and my friend both brought a teddy bear with us and we left them in the hotel while we were sight seeing during the day. When we came back the first night, the house keeper organized the bed and left the bears lying next to each other in bed. The next day when we came back, the bears were kissing each other.... haha I would recommend this hotel if you only want a decent place to stay during your visit to Paris, it is nothing luxurious but it is really easy to get around from the hotel and for its price its really nice :D

Very, very impressed! This was a cheap, last minute booking for me, somewhere near the train station for an early departure and just somewhere to sleep. I wasn't expecting much but the hotel looks great, was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and more than happy to speak English to those of us who are useless with French (!), breakfast was great and all for a really good price. Probably not the nicest area of Paris though...

Pros Hotel location was convenient to the Metro Front desk staff helpful amiable. Cons Toilet did not work Room was dirty and run down Wallpaper was peeling and dirty Carpet was damp and very badly stained throughout Bedding was extremely old Hallways were narrow but fairly clean, bathroom had no shower curtain (expected for Europe) toilet flushed only intermittently. Should have paid the extra money to stay in a better hotel.

We booked this hotel because it was close to the train station and late at night. It was about 4 blocks from the Paris train-station, and walking there in the gathering darkness was scary- lots of characters gather around stations around the globe, not just in Paris. I would recommend anyone getting off the train to take a taxi. The room was rather small, but comfortable; if you do not desire air conditioning. There was a fan in the room, but it was unseasonably hot, and air conditioning in Paris, in July, is highly desirable. They had a continental breakfast, which was passable. Hotel staff not very friendly, and would not go out of their way to help us make a call, or answer questions.

Room was clean & comfortable which is all I need.

The hotel was (realistically) 2 minutes walk or less from Gare du Nord (Eurostar). The gentleman at reception spoke reasonable English. I stayed in the 6th Floor with my partner. On previous reviews of this hotel people complained about there being too much noise. This is competely untrue. We were never disturbed by the noise (not even on the weekend), even though the window was open the whole time! Plus, the noise of the city is quite pleasent. The room was as to be expected. Lots of baggage space, and a very useful air conditioning machine. There was only one problem... There was not an actual shower - only one of those shower heads connected to the tap. It did the job, so wasn't too bothered. There was one lift in the hotel which was definitely needed as we stayed on the 6th floor. The hotel is situated in an Indian area, of a few streets radius. There are some great cafe's right opposite Gare du Nord. Getting to the city centre took around 10 mins on metro (which is right by the hotel). Bascially this hotel is a Michael Winner. It isn't telling you its glamorous, but is stating that it's a great location. Therefore, it does exactly what it says on the tin!

Perfectly ok hotel for the price

I booked a room for four people. We had five in our party, and one ended up sleeping on the floor (she was prepared and brought a sleeping pad). This means that technically there was room for someone on the floor, but you really have to like each other, and do not carry a lot of bagage. The bathroom was clean with plenty of toilet paper. The beds were mildly comfortable. The pillows on the bed were very small. This didn't bother me, but it could bother others. The worst part was that the room horrendously smelled of smoke. I had to take the side of the bed closest to the window. Luckily, the window took up almost the entire wall so the room aired quickly. The hallways are very small. The people at the front desk speak English. The people who refresh the free breakfast do not. The breakfast is quaint but satisfying. Yogurt, applesauce, croissants, baguettes, coffee, hot chocolate. The neighborhood is a little scary at night and in general pretty dirty. However, it is a 2-5 minute walk from the Gare du Nord. If you don't spend much time in your hotel room anyway, this is a brilliant hotel since it's relatively inexpensive and so close to public transportation.

Enjoyed my stay - 2 full weeks. Handy to trains, Metro, eateries and take-out places and internet cafes. Train from Chas de Gaukle went right to Gare de Nord - 2 blocks to hotel; easy, even dragging bags. Hotel clean, good daily cleaning service, enough room, decor pleasant. Didn't eat breakfast at 9 Euros -- got a baguette, butter and jam from grocery. It's very handy near Gare de Nord and Gare de l'Est, but it is a train station neighborhood, so it's not high ambiance. But I was a woman traveling alone, felt very safe, even at night returning on the Metro. I give it 4+ stars for meeting my needs.

This hotel was adequate for our needs. We arrived late at night and it was close to the train station. It was also within walking distance of Sacre C'oeur. The neighborhood was not as appealing as other hotels, but we were pleased with the hotel and staff.

Parfait juste pour y dormir (litterie bonne) si l'on est Paris 2 à 3 jours, avec éventuellement une fois ou l'autre un petit déj. Situation géographique parfaite, quartier super calme.

Habitacion muy pequeña pero todo bien.lo unico desfavorable es la ubicacion,gare du nord lo mas deslucido y desconfiante de Paris.

Noe slitt, men rene rom. Meget sentralt. Perfekt for mitt formål som var base og et sted å sove uten å bruke noe særlig tid på rommet. Da jeg var på rommet så var BBC World på TV og det trådløset nettet nyttig. Mange billige spisesteder ikke langt unna.
