Rodeway Inn Lyons - ليونز

First of all the service was great, and that made the hotel experience tolerable. When we first got there and turned down the sheet it was stained. However, the hotel staff were apologetic and changed it promptly. There was some red paint looking stains on the wall, the tub faucet leaked, and the floors were minimumly vacuumed. The mattress was extremely comfortable and I suffer from back problems. The shower was nice and hot. Again the service was very good, they even extended our checkout time. The indoor is in separate bldg. which is odd, but for the price, I say if I had too stay again I would.

The only thing negitive is the small rooms and detatched pool blg. Other then that it is what u would expect from a smaller hotel. People where nice at check in and out, a lot of near by food. It was a nice overnight staycation.

The room had no microwave, refrigerator or coffee maker, and i clearly asked for a room with those appliances. The front desk lady was beyond rude, full on attitude. The ice machine is in the front desk. You can hear people having sex in other rooms, having conversations and the cars driving in the street. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY HERE! The heater was rusty and there was debris around it.

Rodeway Inn is recognized as the lowest class motel, however, this Rodeway inn was still below. Can you change two star to one star hotel?

great place to stay for the night. when i arrived it was already after dark, and at first i thought, wow this looks like one of those really sketchy motels by the side of the road. there was a very friendly lady at the front office. when i got into my room i was very pleasantly surprised. very clean and very nicely decorated. everything looked very well taken care of, the furnishings looked very new, bedding and sheets were clean and comfortable. no problems with noise outside. would definitely recommend this place!

I selected this hotel online as I had to make an unexpected overnight at Chicago Midway airport. The first taxi driver wouldn't take me--said it was too far. The second took me, but was worried about my safety. This hotel should not be listed as convenient to Midway. The total bill for taxi (round trip) was $80.

The parking lot is just too small for the facility and I had a hard time finding parking. Not enough room in the parking lot to drive your vehicle especially if there are trailers and trucks.

We were going to a concert in Chicago from the Madison area. The price of the Rodeway was perfect for us, and the room was perfectly efficient. The area was nice and we didn't have any trouble parking. The bed was clean and comfortable. The walls and sink and countertops were nice as well. The bathroom equipment worked just fine. If you are looking for something with fancier services this isn't the place to stay, I,E. coffee maker or cable, but if you just need a place to spend the night it's perfect! We didn't eat breakfast so I don't know what was offered but I'm sure it would have been just fine. The check in/out process was fast and easy. I will stay there again if I'm in the area. It was super fast and easy to get into Chicago. It only took about 11 minutes. Thanks.

Where is the A/C? I slept on top of all of the sheets and comforter and still woke up sweating.

Decent hotel but had no AC so the room got to be about 90 at night. Pool was reallynice, service was friendly and the breakfast was good enough for me.

Picked this hotel because of closeness to Brookfield Zoo, but the room did not smell clean and parking was bad. Breakfast was good.

This motel is VERY OLD and somewhat rundown. It was raining hard and we needed a place to stay for one night, so be it! Would not stay there again.

Stayed at the Rodeway inn in Lyons for two days...was there for a wrestling show in Berwyn...and like its convenience & location. It was my third time there & will keep going back.Many places to eat nearby & pretty close to Midway. Not so, with O'Hare, but not that bad. Not the most luxurious hotel & limited channels on TV but good for a short stay.

the motel is at convenient place. It is comfortable and clean with low price. wifi is fast enough for normal use. Breakfast is nice

It was late Sep in chicago and cold, but there was no heat and we were told "We don't turn it on until next month". Bathroom needed repaint, replumbing. Very limited parking. 2 entrances and one exit confused most people. Small towells. No coffee in room.

Motel was very conveniently located near Brookfield Zoo (our destination) & was clean & reasonably priced. However, our first night stay was continually interrupted with noisy neighbors (I swear they were tapdancing on the floor above us!) & the bathroom ceiling leaked. Also, they had no amenities that you come to expect when travelling (coffee maker & blow dryer, specifically). Overall, a convenient, clean place to stay with no frills.

Service was great. Hotel could up some upgrading...curtain didnt close properly...lamp was broken, couldnt turn on even with new light bulb, had to use desk clock because clock in room volume button was broken.Breakfast was very small....no fruit, just 2 cereal and some english muffins. Other then that everything was great...not too far from Chicago. Would not recommend non smoking guests get a smoking room...no matter how much they aired it out before our arrival and no matter how much we did there was still an odour.

This hotel looks really bad from the outside. The inside of the room was out of date but was pretty clean. The AC doesnt have a setting just on or off so we either froze or was hot. The room smelled really odd. There was a big gap under the door and you could see daylight. The gap was probably big enough for a small animal to crawl under. The breakfast only consisted of 2 types of cereal, bagels, or muffins. I guess you get what you pay for. If I was on a budget and needed to stay somewhere again I would stay though.

The hotel was clean and inexpensive. But, their WiFi was not acceptable (only one of two access points available, and throughput was below that of 3G speeds), parking was an issue, and they only had about 12 channels on the tele. If you just need an inexpensive place to sleep, this is an ok place.

The room we had was dirty. Did not appear to ever have been vacuumed. There was water damage on the wall, people had written on some walls with ink. The walls were paper thin and you could hear the turning pages of a book from the next room over. The pillow cases were stained, and the sheets looked disgusting. We will never stay at a roadway again. We had booked for two nights, got in late the first night and left early that same morning. Luckily we were able to get refunded for the second night.

We chose Rodeway Inn Lyons, IL, because it was around the corner from some friends we wanted to visit. When we drove into the courtyard we were taken back by its shabby appearance. We debated whether or not to find another motel even though we had pre-paid. When we approached our door we noticed that the handle and key plate had been dented at several places. We were concerned about a past break in. When we closed the door we could see light all the way around the replacement door. Right after we checked in we left the area until it was time to climb into bed. Parking is inadequate. We ended up driving around to the back and parking by some mail trucks. At the continental breakfast we were directed to a small refrigerator with a gallon of milk and a container of OJ. The cream for coffee was spoiled and curdled in our coffee. We were just relieved to make our get-a-way the next morning. We took a road trip of 1706 miles staying in hotels.com rooms. This stay was the worst. The pictures of this motel are very deceptive. PLEASE REMOVE THIS MOTEL FROM YOUR LIST!

Definitely not recommended. Parking areas a bit crowded. Some staff not fully bilingual. Insufficient water pressure in the shower to take a decent shower. This remained unchanged even after I reported it to the front desk. Wireless internet was not operating the last two days I was there.

A decent place to stay. It's close to quite a few restaurants. The best part is the Metra station is only a 10 minute walk away. It's only 30 minutes to the city from there. The pool was cool, the breakfast was alright, the room was fairly clean. It's not the best place I've ever stayed in but it gets the job done.

We recently spent a Saturday night here. Room was clean and bed comfy, but noting fancy. It's near Brookfield Zoo so that's a plus and also easy to get to I-55 for trip into the city. Only bad thing is either the walls are paper thin or our room location near the soda machine made it impossible to sleep as we heard conversations all night long - not loud partying or TV noise - just constant talking which prevented us from sleeping. Check-out was a problem for some reason. Over all, a good value.

Have stayed here a few times and can say that while it is definitely not a full service hotel, it is definitely a reasonably priced, reasonably clean dependable place to stay in the Riverside-Brookfield area.

I've picked this inn based on other reviews. It is about 10 minutes from Chicago, which isn't that far considering the price. However, this inn is pretty much in the "hood". The inn itself is fairly nice, it is just not too nice of a neighborhood. The bed is nice; bathroom was clean. We were happy with our room. They had a nice indoor pool and small gym too. Although they do have a good selection fort he continental breakfast. They start cleaning way before the time is up. It was supposedly till 10am. They started cleaning up and putting away the food @ 9:30am and have everything cleaned and put away by 9:50am. However, if you are an early bird, that shouldn't be an issue

The hotel management were very rude. Would not stay there again.

I wanted to stay inexpensive and close to airport since I was traveling alone. Over all the neighbor seemed safe the front desk girl was very nice and helpful. I had no issue getting into the city to roam around.

The convenience of the hotel was great. It was close to all the places that we went to. The downside was when we checked in, they had me down for a smoking room and I knew for a fact, I had asked for non-smoking. Well, they did not have any available right then, so we had to wait an extra 15 minutes while they did a rush job and tried to clean up a smoking room to give to us. Needless to say, the room still smelled of smoke and a hint of urine...I'm assuming the maid did not have a chance to mop. This was the first night; the second night was much better because housekeeping must have had more time to do a thorough cleaning of the room. All in all, my stay wasn't terrible but I don't think I will be visiting this facility any time soon.

Only stayed 1 night prior to an early morning flight. The hotel lacks curb appeal but the room was clean and comfortable for our purpose. Front desk employee was very helpful and pleasant. Wouldn't plan staying there for a vacation.
