Room was a little tired but the common areas were great and the location is excellent.

Hotel is conveniently located. A few mintues away from the MRT station. Next to the hotel you could find a departmental store and food.

Overall we had a very nice stay at the Sunworld Dynasty hotel in Taipei. Pros: - conveniently located close to shopping, food, and the MRT/bus lines in a safe area (I was out at 4am with my two year old and felt perfectly comfortable though the only thing open was the 7-11) - we opted to buy the wifi modem internet service and the speed was pretty good with only a small amount of downtime - room was cleaned everyday with two complimentary water bottles in the room each day - everyone was extremely helpful and nice! Even the concierges greeted our two year old every time we passed by and went out of their way to help us - very prompt at answering email inquiries - gym and pool available to hotel guests, free of charge - pretty nice breakfast buffet spread Cons: - carpets in room are a little grimy and old - use the slippers! - gym equipment is plentiful (free weights, racks, machines, treadmills, even spinners), but old and the gym is not air conditioned. Also noticed that the ceiling was leaking and before I could report it someone came to fix it by applying a layer of paint to the ceiling without fixing the leak. - though this is not the hotel's fault - there was a tournament at the Taipei Arena (across the street) and so most of the athletes stayed at the hotel - the gym was always crowded and the athletes left the gym messy by not restacking their equipment and leaving their towels around. No room for a nice solitary workout. - I added some notes to my hotels.com reservation and they did not see them (requested a crib and late check-in). If you have notes be sure you have someone local go to the hotel and check that they received them and/or follow-up separately directly with the hotel. I had my mom go check which is how I knew they didn't get my message, and I then followed-up via email. - when we arrived we were told there was a crib in the room, which there was not. We had to wait for one but they showed up within 10 minutes so that was fine. The pros far o

The hotel itself was beautiful. The marble floors, the large foyer. The open ceiling looking up wards from the dining area. It was conveniently close to downtown which was key for my trip. What I did not like was the actual hotel room itself. The carpet had what looked like red wine stains everywhere. The wall paper was coming apart at ever seam and edge. The giant CRT TV (which did not work) took up over 60% of the desk. There was only one plug per wall and they all had a lamp or something else plugged into it. So to charge my phone I had to sit in the dark. There was no Internet even though there was a plug for it; front desk said they plan to add Internet service someday and so the room was prepped for it. The shower was has glass walls and a door that was sealed however when taking a shower the water would seep underneath each wall and flood the bathroom (very dangerous). The cleaning service just made up the beds, nothing was cleaned or wiped down. I called for room service to order food. 90 minutes later I called back to find out what was going on and they told me that I did not give them my room number and so they canceled my order. I tried to use the phone in the bathroom to ask for more towels. Midway through the call I turned around holding the receiver and the entire phone ripped out of the wall leaving a gaping hole with the phone wire disappearing into it. The hotel only has a limited quantity of irons so each guest must put their name on a waiting list to get to use it for an hour. The hospitality service called my room at 3:18am to tell me it was available and my name was next on the list. The A/C kept turning off regardless of settings. I think it had an auto-reset or short because it would randomly go back to default setting of 28C which was miserable at night. This aging hotel is at a good location, but be prepared for spotty service. My room was freezing cold and the temperature control did not work. Although they did bring up a heater, this only had a marginal impact, and the maids kept turning it off during the day so that when I returned in the evening it would take 4 hours to take the chill out of the air. The bathroom was tiny and the shower head was mounted so low that I could not stand under it. The sink was stained so it appeared dirty. The lumpy carpet in the hallways means that you hear every time a cleaning person goes by with a cart. The heated pool seems nice, but the grouchy service people seemed reluctant to let anyone use it, and be prepared with a swimming cap. The food at the main restaurant buffet was cold and boring and expensive. The elevators are slow and don't seem to distinguish between a call to go up and a call to go down, so you end up stopping on every floor.

Second time have stayed at this hotel. Happy with all it has to offer. Staff friendly and helpful. Safe area. Rooms generally clean and comfortable but carpet could do with good steam clean or replacing. Was great to get home to own bed - their's hard as a rock!!!! Fantastic breakfast. Happy to recommend from my experience.

Info on Sunworld Hotel's website about being 5 minutes away from MRT station is a bit untrue; maybe if you run. But walking will take you more like 10 minutes. Another thing, getting to the main station would require changing trains & it's really troublesome because of the number of people in the train station in the morning. So best to stay at hotels close to "Red Line" MRT stations; would require less transfers when going places (since tourists attractions are mainly on the red line). If you need to ask for directions at the Hotel, ask the Concierge. They really know their stuff. Don't bother asking the front desk, they're so clueless.

the service was excellent. specially the pilipino staff at the concierge. room was so so . carpets were dirty. but service was excellent specially the pilipino staff at the concierge. the price is ok for this type of hotel and i will rate this 3.5 stars because of the dirty carpet

The hotel is huge and very old. Inside was ok if you don't mind that smell especially in the room... What you can't see from the picture of the hotel is how old the hotel is. Otherwise, location was good. There's Starbucks and departmentstore next to the hotel. If you don't look at the bulilding, you should be fine. During day time, I was trying so hard not to look at the hotel.

スッタフは一生懸命に要望に答えてくれました。まだ接客に慣れていない様子あり。 設備はできたばかりで機能は、水周りなどは最新でした。 朝食がいまいちでした。 南京東路に面していて、工事中で超うるさかった。 ホテルについての貴社の記述は違っていたところもありました。例：部屋数、ビジネスセンターありとか。

【悪い点】 外壁が剥がれ落ち、室内の絨毯にシミが多数残るなどハード面ではいまひとつの感あり。 また、部屋が寒かったので暖房をつけたかったが、気温10度以下にならないとつけられないとのことで、毛布を提供されたものの、机上で執務する時間が長かったために快適に過ごすことができなかった。 空港から近いのは確かで、行きは5分とかからなかったが、それが故にタクシーから嫌な顔をされ、逆に帰りは道路をUターンすることができず迂回していったためと大通りをいくつか超える必要があって信号がやたら多かったために15分程度もかかってしまい、飛行機に乗り遅れそうになった。　これなら中山北路の国賓などから行くのと所要時間はそう変わらない。 周囲の環境としては百貨店がすぐ隣にあるのはポイント高いが、コンビニは裏にいかないとない。市街からはやや離れているため、ホテル周辺での街歩きや食べ歩きを期待する向きには適さない。 【良い点】 3時チェックインであるべきところ、1時チェックインをしてもらうなど、サービス面では融通が利き、スタッフも英語、日本語堪能でコミュニケーション面で不自由しなかったところは満足している。 たまたまであるが、アップグレードしてもらい、 部屋自体は広かった。（その分寒さが身に染みた） 台北に旅行で来る人で、台北市内での食べ歩き、ショッピングを期待する人にはおすすめしない。 とにかく空港から近いところがいい、翌朝の便が早いという人には適しているか。

地點方便, 機場飛狗巴士到門口. 斜對面有小巨蛋. 一個街口到地鐵站. 後街有好幾間好吃餐廳, 和街邊小食. 酒店很大, 房間也比較大. 大概十幾年前既裝飾切備; 相對比較舊. 空調沒法調整溫度; 衹可以調整風量或關掉. wifi 是要收費的. 大陸和韓國團很多. 幸好因為工幹要早起吃早餐; 雖然一般. 但非常多人, 離開那早上因為晩了一個鐘, 門口有大概有五十人排隊; 為有放棄.

近くの台北アリーナに用事があって何度か宿泊しています。 部屋によって夜、外の騒音がうるさい部屋があったり、極端に湿気の多い部屋があったり。 当たり外れがあります。 そのほかには問題はありません。

ゴキブリの死骸がお出迎えしてくれました。

1박 2일 짧은 일정이었는데 혼자 쓰기 아까울 정도로 방 넓고 욕실도 넓고 밖으로 돌출 베란다? 테라스? 도 있어서 참 좋았어요. 거기 나무도 심겨있고... 침대에 머리 카락 하나 있던 것만 빼면 다 괜찮았어요. 다음에도 또 묵어도 괜찮을듯요ㅎ 주변에 볼 건 아레나밖에 없는듯도 하지만? 사실 바빠서 많이 못 다녔는데 택시 타고 다니기 괜찮았네요.

確かに概観は古い　がホテル内　室内 すべてに広くて　満足しました 台北ではいろんなとこへ仕事で泊まりましたが ここをこれからは定番のホテルにしたいと思います

宿泊当時の午前中にHotels.comで予約し、13:00頃にホテルに到着しCheck-inをお願いしました。 通常は15:00がCheck-in時間になりますが、早めに到着した旨を告げるたところ、掃除が完了した部屋を探して頂き、早めにCheck-inをさせて頂きました。ホテルのフロントスタッフの対応はとても親切でした。 ホテルに関しては、設備や外観は古さは否めませんが、部屋の清掃は行き届いていて、広さも十分にあり価格の割にはとても満足する内容だと思います。 ホテルの周りにはバス停やMRT駅もある為、観光にも非常に便利な場所だと思います。 インターネットが有料であった事は残念でした。欲を言うと無料の無線LANが備え付けであれば、もっと良かったと思います。 総じて、コストパフォーマンスは非常に高いと思います。次回台北訪問時も是非使用したいと感じました。

１Ｆ食堂ホールからのホテル内部の吹き抜けの写真を見て、またプールがあるということで選びました。大型バスから終日ツアー客が来て、最大公約数的な感じのところです。部屋は広く普通に快適なのですが、テレビはＣＲＴの旧式でした。またリモコンが旨く作動しないのでフロントに連絡すると「部屋を代えたいのでしょうか？」という返事で？？？？とまあいいか。床はだいぶツギハギがありました。プールはアスレチックということでキャップが必要です。プールサイドも、汚いホテルの周囲の外壁の景観とともに、とにかく殺風景。小さなサウナがあるので、旅歩きに疲れたら利用しましょう。

古いつくりではあるが、改装をしているので清潔感は問題ないレベル。シャワーの水圧がもう少しあれば・・・。 フロント、コンシェルジュ、レストラン等に日本語が話せるｽﾀｯﾌがいるので、安心できる。

外見は古いのですがサービスなどは良いと思います。 チェックイン時に特別ルームにグレードアップ。 コンシェルジェが必死になり食事の予約、観光先を 調査、アドバイス。 一生懸命さが伝わってきました。 我々は個人旅行でしたのでコンシェルジェに頑張って 貰いました。 日本語はチョッと通じます。 普通語、英語出来ればＢＥＳＴですね・・・ ツアーで来る人たちは何も？交渉する必要はないので 問題無いかと思います。 場所的にも空港から比較的近く、各観光地からも200TWD掛かりませんでした。 掛からなかったはずです！ 初の台湾旅行でしたが大いに楽しめました。 普段は大陸に生活しておりますが・・・台湾の人は人柄も 良く・・・お勧め出来る観光地です！
