Hotel Sovereign - براغ

This hotel is excellent especially the staffs. They are very helpful with good service mind. The price is suitable and the location is not far from the square and quite close to the museum and train station. Also the metro station is in the distance that can be accessed by walk around 10-15 minutes.

Really nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Well worth the price.

Very close to down town very friendly and helpful staff great breakfast and restaurant Great beds and pillows! Sauna and steam room can be requested for private use For new years they surprised us with a complementary champagne bottle and some cute small gifts. That was very thoughtful.

I picked this hotel mainly because of the easy access to the train station and I wanted something up-dated- I arrived early and could check right in, which was wonderful, and it was very easy to get to Old Town Square for the Christmas market. The Mucha Museum is wonderful- not a huge collection, but beautiful and well-organized.

Booked this hotel through hotels.com and high expectations based on what was posted and was not disappointed! Perfect hotel: Clean, convenient, spacious, excellent breakfast, friendly, relaxing, etc. Short walk to all the major sites in Prague as well as the train station. Cannot recommend more highly.

We arrived early, and couldn't check-in until 14:00, but the staff was very accomodation and secured our luggage until we returned later in the day. We were within walking distance to everything, but not on a main thoroughfare; which meant no loud nights. We will stay here again!

I would book again! Location is great, safe and very clean! Staff very helpful and breakfast has tons of options. Just bring shampoo and conditioner and you are set to go! Enjoy!!!!

At this price, this hotel is quite elegant, clean and very comfort. The location is also close to subway station and some sightseeing spots. However, there are some unacceptable disadvantages. First, most staffs were not friendly at all. Also, although it offer free wi-fi in the hotel, the speed is really really slow!!! I couldn't get my email and login Facebook. Last, it seemed there were lots of choice of food in its breakfast buffet, but most food was not tasty. The staff didn't resupply some kinds of food quickly... I would say this hotel can offer a comfort 'bedroom' but not other additional function at all.

Hotel is very close to the main train station. Access to airport is convenient. Hotel is also one block away from the town center - Wenscelas Square. The breakfast was great. Free WIFI (although not secure WIFI). Overall, highly recommend.

After having paid over the odds in several places accross Europe, what a joy it is to get to Prague where you finally feel like you get value for money. Given the top end hotels here seem to cost as much as flea ridden dives in other countries, we splashed out and went for the Hotel Sovereign - a great decision. The hotel is grand, full of modern amenities, and you want for nothing. The room has a safe, the bed is massive and comfortable, its about 2 minutes from the main train station, 2 minutes from the main attractions, 2 minutes from the nearest metro line, 2 minutes from award winning restaurants, 3(!) minutes from the nearest supermarket - terrific. I think the Prague hotel market is of a high standard overall but certainly this hotel would get my full reccomendation if you can get a deal within your pricerange.

Near hl.n., and Wenceslao Square, very good breakfast, conveniently located near supermarket, restaurants, post office, National Museum, walk to Old town, Republic and never miss the brewery houses in Mustek for great food and beer for real Czech atmosphere as what locals do.

staff were helpful and hotel was in walking distance of most of the major sights. easy to get to old town square and it was a pleasant place to stay.

We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Sovereign. The room was recently decorated, clean and spacious, and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was well stocked and generally quite good. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from Wenceslas Sq, and about 15 minutes from Charles Bridge, and 30 minutes from the Castle. We didn't feel the need to use public transport to reach any of the main sites. I would highly recommend this hotel as it offers a very comfortable stay and represents superb value.

Besides its location, I chose this hotel for its promised internet access. The wireless signal was strong but nothing could be downloaded. Same with the hotel's computer in the lobby. Staff didn't seem to care - mumbled something about a storm sometime in the past. Hotel is fine if you don't need internet. If you do, look elsewhere.

Extremely pleasant surprise to find a hotel with good sized rooms in the heart of a city. We travelled with a 6-year old and an extra bed fitted fine without any inconvenience. The condition of the hotel was brilliant, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous (perhaps with the exception of 1-2 people). Location is brilliant, 5 minutes from the station, 3-4 minutes from Wenceslas square.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Hotel Sovereign. The hotel is reasonably central, close to transport links, and in a very quiet side street. Our room was clean and modern. The breakfasts were excellent, with a good variety of food. We didn't use the hotel restaurant in the evening, but discovered a very popular Czech restaurant (full of locals - always a good sign) almost opposite, next to the British Council building.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was very modern and had a lovely bathroom. It even had the 'White Company' cosmetics (didn't even know they had that in Prague?). The breakfast was excellent with an array of hot and cold food, more than enough for a package deal on hotels.com. We had no problems with security, in fact we couldn't even get into our room on many occasions. We had problems with the key, but the reception staff were very helpful with this. There was a safe in the room and the man that took us up to our room pointed that out.

We booked the Hotel Sovereign for my 40th birthday celebrations. It was a mammoth task organising 4 couples (8 people) staying in the same hotel but well worth the wait. We arrived very late but the receptionist was very helpful and the rooms very comfortable although our room looked over an indoor courtyard and was smaller than some of the others but at the end of the day, you're not on holiday to stay in your room ! Everywhere was very clean, comfortable and the shower was lovely. The choice of breakfast was wonderful... we have never seen cakes on a breakfast menu before ! Bar staff very friendly and the porter was lovely, couldn't do enough for you. The only down side was we tried to book the steam/sauna room on saturday for sunday but we were told by another receptionist that it didn't open until 3pm in the afternoon as it needed to warm up ?! We looked bewildered by this remark but she was very adamant and kept repeating it as though we were stupid. This was a little disappointing as was one of the things which we had chosen the hotel for but as we were leaving the hotel at 12 noon that day, we didn't get the chance. It would have been helpful if this had been explained at the time of booking or check in....... otherwise an excellent stay in a great location and would definitely stay here again.......

Great location, close to metro and only 5 mins walk from Old Town Square. Communal areas and our room seemed recently refurbished and were immaculate. Good size bedroom with king size bed, although no bath, only a shower. Great breakfast selection!

Huone siisti ja hyväsäs kunnossa, todella hiljaista ja sängyt oikein mukavat. Aamiainen ihan riittävä ja sielläkin rauhallista. Lisäksi saunan sai varata omaan käytöönsä, jos halusi. Keskustorille n 10 min kävelymatka, mutta metro ihan vieressä.

Hotel localizado próximo a estação principal de Praga. Wi-fi excelente. ótimo café da manhã.

Boas instalações. Quartos grandes e cómodos.

hotel bien situé proche de la gare ferroviaire, restaurants et bureau de change.

Un séjour agréable, un espace SPA privatif et un très bon buffet petit déjeuner. L'emplacement est pratique et les chambres sont belles et romantiques. A améliorer toutefois l'amabilité de certains membres de l'accueil: nous avons eu l'impression qu'après le check out, le personnel n'était plus "obligé" de sourire...

버스터미널에 내려서 6번 트램을 타고 5정거장을 가면 바로 호텔앞에서 내릴수 있습니다. 호텔 길 건너편이 아름다운 공원이라 맑은 공기 쐬며 쉴 수도 있구요~ 호텔 앞에서 6번 트램 타고 5분 거리에 주요 관광지가 다 있구요..왠만한 거리는 다 걸어다닐수도 있어요..조식도 맛있었구요~^^

Nous avions réservé pour une semaine, 4 mois à l'avance; au bout de 2 jours on nous met dehors au prétexte de travaux et nous échouons dans un autre hotel soit disant de même catégorie mais pas de même tenue. Vive le surbooking !!!

Hôtel à proximité des principales places et monuments intéressants de Prague. Il faut marcher un peu plus pour atteindre le Château. Restaurant pratique dans l'hôtel.

Rigtig god belligenhed, rent værelse, lidt slidte gulve over det hele, lidt for kedeligt morgenmad, venlig personale, værelset lidt for lille.

Ottimo posizionamento della struttura.Si raggiunge facilmente a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria.Vicinissimo alle fermate Metro:Mustek e Museo.Nella TV della stanza mancano canali italiani.Ideale per raggiungere a piedi:Ponte Carlo e Piazza Venceslao.Vicinissimo al Mucha Museum.Nella reception è presente un computer per collegarsi a internet. La colazione:ottimo il bacon ed i cornettini dolci al forno.Ottimo lo yogurt ed il tè.Le paste secche ed i dolci da evitare. La struttura è cmq molto accogliente e la zona risuta tranquilla.Ideale per chi durante la vacanza vuole tornare in stanza a riposarsi, in quanto in zona centrale.

Kjempe fint hotel med kort vei til det meste. Flotte rom med et nydelig bad. Aircondition og stor god seng. Stille og rolig uten støy utenfra eller fra hotelet ellers. Frokosten trekker litt ned da brødet var veldig tørt og pålegget ellers var lite variert. Totalt sett en hotel vi godt kunne tenke oss å bo på igjen:)

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Konnten schon am Morgen um 10 Uhr einchecken, da unser Zimmer schon bereit war. Man fragte uns ob man uns das Zimmer zeigen solle und bot uns an, die Koffer zu tragen. Das Zimmer war sehr gross, hell, einfach eingerichtet und sauber. Vorallem das Badezimmer war sauber und geräumig. (bin sehr heiikel!) Das Hotelzimmer war sehr ruhig, da es in einer Seitenstrasse lag, trotzdem war man aber in ca 3.5 Minuten am Wenzelplatz wo man super shoppen konnte. Einziger Minuspunkt war das Frühstücksbuffet, war im Preis inbegriffen, war aber zwar vielfältig jedich nicht besonders schmackhaft, ist aber wahrscheindli eher ein Minuspunkt von Prag selbst. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel sofort weiterempfehlen.

Ottima posizione sia per raggiungere il centro( di una città splendida!) che per la vicinanza alla fermata metro(5 min). Camera ok, la colazione offre più varieta di "salati" che di "dolci" (decisamente poco invoglianti). Nel complesso il giudizio è positivo.

Hotelissa kaikki muu erittäin hyvää paitsi aamupala. Palvelu aamupalalla saa myös miinusta. Muuten palvelu oli hyvää, huonekkin oli hyvä, ikkunan sijainti rumaa sisäpihaakohden ainut miinus. Aamupalalla oli kohtalainen valikoima ruokaa, mutta vähintään jotain oli koko ajan loppu jos meni vähän myöhemmin aamupalalle. Ruokien makukaan ei saa mitään suurta plussaa.

Trevligt och fräscht hotell, speciellt för det relativt billiga priset. Fina rum och oftast trevlig personal. Fin och god frukostbuffé. Enda nackdelen var att frukosten inte var så fräsch om man kom ner sista timmen (9-10). Väldigt nära till centrum och gamla stan och bara några minuter promenad från tågstationen. Bra hotell!
