Great hotelnina picturesque surrounding. Got a great rate from hotels.com. Locating to and locating the hotel entrance and parking might be difficult if you did not check with the hotel ahead of time as keying the address in gps would not bring you to the right place

Stayed in the Marriott Hotel in Ghent over Easter 2012. Location could not be better - on the waterfront in the heart of the historic centre with all sights within 5-10 minutes walk of the hotel. Facade is historic house with large airy atrium bar and modern hotel inside. Boat trips leave from outside the hotel and plenty of good cafe bars and restaurants nearby. Free wifi. Large quiet room at the back of the hotel, very comfortable king sized bed, full bath, tea and coffee making facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. All in all a perfect hotel for a relaxing weekend.

Excellent, popular hotel in the centre of Ghent, combining the old with the new. Very good breakfast included in the room rate. Parking in Ghent is difficult and I do believe that the charges made by the hotel for 24 hour parking is pricey for hotel guests.

The people is very nice and helpful. A lot of nice restaurantts around it ,(sometimes expensives). perfect location to visit the center of this nice city of ghent. I will try again in summer.

It's a great hotel, very clean and bright interior, very friendly staff. The hotel is located in very old & beautiful part of town. We had a great time staying there.

Very nice hotel with a friendly atmosphere.The staff in reception is very helpfull. In particular Jasper,who demonstrated a fantastic memory capacity.

Very modern hotel in the heart of Ghent right next to the canal. Convenient for walking to all the sights, taking a canal boat ride, and many restaurants. Hotel rooms exceptionally good, very comfortable bed, more than one English TV station. Excellent location.

We have stayed her before and yet again it was top quality. not really a gripe but the car park has a steep ramp (if you have a low car).

Great location but view from hotel rooms disappointing. First deluxe room we were offered faced a private garage. Next 2 we were offered did not have much of a view either. Staff helpful. Breakfast very good and in room facing front with excellent views of waterfront. Bathroom in deluxe room disappointing with shower over bath. Expected more from a Marriott.

The hotel itself is lovely. The room was immaculate and due to the design of the hotel around a central atrium an interesting shape. All the facilities you would expect were present and in full working order. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice and very fresh. The location of the hotel is perfect - within seconds of leaving you are in the city centre with wonderful views of the canals. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel if you are travelling to Ghent.

Great location, good athmosphere and friendly service. The room could have been cleaner, stains on valance on bed, so disappointed in that regard.

This is a good hotel in a great location however the breakfast charges are very expensive and the parking charges are high.

We were very pleased with the hotel location and services during our recent 2 day stay. We appreciated having parking on site, as we had a rental car.The only challenge was that the hotel street address is Korenlei 10, but the actual car entry door is on a different street just around the corner from Korenlei (Drabstraat.) As we were not aware of this, when we arrived by car in the dark, we had some difficulty finding the hotel. Our GPS could not pinpoint the exact location since Korenlei 10 is not accessible by car. It would be helpful for others arriving by car, if the address of this alternative entry point is included with the reservation confirmation.

Now thats how to run a hotel !!! Superb location, clean spacious room, very comfortable bed, proper 4 star luxury. I consider myself an attention to detail person and i was impressed.

Loved it! This was our second stay and we will return again. We were traveling with 3 children ages 13, 9 and 7 and it was perfect for our family.

Lovely ;ocation in the middle of town. the town itself was a very pleasant surprise to ourselves- full of a well balanced mix of the old and the new. We had a great time not least of all thanks to the hotel staff who were helpful and pleasant at all times

The only complaint was slow service on 1 night in the restaurant. The food was good. The location ws central but better directions could be made available to visitors as the city is full of pedestrian areas & one way streets. The hotel car park is expensive.

I had my mother stay here when she visited me and my fiance. She was super happy (which is hard to come by) and so was I. Would definitely book again.

The location is great, right on the canal and easy to find. The atrium is lovely for a break after all the city walking. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I'd really recommend the hotel and the restaurant nearby - Il Folleto.

The Marriott in Ghent, Belgium, is the perfect place to stay. The location is ideal--within a short walking distance to all historic sites. The room was very comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ghent!

Great location. Room was the quietest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Service impeccable. Would definitely go again as was great value for money too.

This hotel is relatively new, and in a great location. Within a few minutes walk to restaurants, shopping, and the towers/cathedral which Gent is known for. The room was very comfortable, and much larger than the average European room. The staff was also very helpful and courteous. We'd absolutely stay there again.

In the middle of Gent and sensitively fitted in to the character of the area. Nice atrium space as the core of the hotel. Rooms as you would expect but nothing special. Very close to the action.

Zeer aangenaam en mooi hotel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, uitgebreid en lekker ontbijtbuffet en ideale ligging. Wij gaan zeker terug!

Mooi en goed onderhouden hotel midden in het toeristische gedeelte van de stad. Parking beschikbaar onder het hotel is gemakkelijk maar aan de dure kant. The lounge is gezellig en ook het ontbijt valt niets op aan te merken. Bij mijn volgende bezoek aan de stad mag het opnieuw dit hotel zijn.

Buitengewoon goede en vriendelijke service. Locatie prachtig gelegen in het oude centrum. Zeer goed ontbijt buffet. Aanrader voor bezoek aan Gent

レストランの奥からレイエ川に下りて行かれます。さすがに部屋からはのぞめませんが、行きはタクシーで確かチップを入れて10ユーロ位だったような。帰りはスーツケースを引きずって広場にあるバス停まで時間は5分位でしたが石畳はきつい。朝食はホテルの近くのパン屋さんのカフェで地元？の人に交じっていただきました。ハムやチーズ、アツアツのゆで卵にパンも美味しくて雰囲気も良くお勧めです。ホテルでは日本の方はほとんど見かけませんでした。ツインルームをトリプル使用でしたが、モダンで清潔です。

Went to Gent during the summer festivities, which I can thoroughly recommend. Hotel is located right by the canal, everything close by. Reception very friendly and knowledgeable, recommended us a great restaurant by the name of Queen Belga which was 2 minutes by foot.

Situation dans Gent historique exceptionnelle. Très bel hôtel, mais petit déjeuner cher. Nous étions 3, en couple plus notre fille, la chambre est très grande avec suffisamment de rangement. Petit détail négatif: les nécessaires de toilette n'étaient prévus que pour 2.
