We have stayed here a few times. Its not luxury but it is good value and only a few minutes from the Dunkerque ferry terminal and the E40. There is an Auchun in nearby Grande-Synthe with a 24/7 fuel station that takes UK cards. If you pre-book with a card the system in the foyer recognises your card and so booking in is very easy. On two occasions there have been problems with the IT but both times the staff have stayed on to make sure all booked guests can get in OK.

Fortunately only booked for one night, expected basic at the cost but a little too basic, but close to the ferry and were able to have dinner in the Campanile Hotel next door which was Ok.

Stayed here before. Ideal for an overnight stop, especially if using the Dover-Dunkerque ferry. It is clean and simple and the staff are helpful. Ample parking, couple of restaurants nearby. The breakfast is adequate. The hotel is close to the E40. The Auchan in nearby Grande-Synthe has very cheap fuel. I wouldnt spend a week here, but for an overnight stop it is very good value.

Very basic and ripe for a makeover, but staff are very helpful and its extremely handy for the ferry.

Convenient for ferry. If you need to contact the hotel their telephone number appears to have changed (the number from hotels.com website does not work!). The correct number is 03.28.21.48.22 - fortunately there is now a night person on reception!

To start on a good note, the staff at this hotel were excellent; professional and friendly. We were using this hotel and an overnight stop before catching the ferry back to the UK. The room we were allocated smelt very strongly of smoke - in fact the whole hotel smelt of smoke despite the smoking ban!! After we complained, we were moved to a much better smelling room, although slightly on the tatty side. Breakfast was very good, and good value for money. Overall, just about OK for an overnight stop.

The room was on the small side so one person had to climb over the other to get into or out of bed. The bathroom door would not open fully as it was close to the foot of the bed and it was very difficult to get into or out of the bathroom - if you are a large person it would be impossible!

This hotel is basic but it has always met our need for a overnight stay before catching the morning ferry, if your room is on the back of the hotel you may hear passing trains going to and from the port but this was not to noisy.

Very basic, not recommended for families or for more than one night.

The room was very small and for 2 adults and a child I would have expected a bit more for my money, I would not recommend this hotel at all.Pay the extra and take a decent hotel.

not happy,booked for a night but only stayed for a few hours as i couldnt cope with the state of the place.i wouldnt recommend it to anyone.it was cheap &we didnt expect the ritz but the towels where still wet,floor dirty&bed throw looked like it hasnt seen a wash for ages.in one word,plain disgusting!!!

A budget hotel with friendly staff. Basic but clean and good for an overnight stay from or to the Ferry. Food at the Campanile next door was excellent. Plenty of on site parking.

premiere class - you get what you pay for - ok as a stopover

This is Cheap & Cheerful, this was my second stay, it's brilliant for an overnight stop, if your coming off the ferry or catching a ferry, BUT !!! it could be even better if it had English speaking TV programmes, 1 or 2 would do nicely

The hotel was very easy to find from the Car Ferry, only took about 10 minutes. It was in a locality that contained 3 or 4 budget hotels and some eateries that were reasonably priced. The room took me back to my student days, but at the price I paid I was't worried. It was clean and the receptionist kindly allowed me to attempt French, then rescued me with her perfect English. I didn't have breakfast, but as I checked out, I have to say it looked and smelt lovely, shame I was in a hurry! All in all, you get what you pay for, and this was very good value.

The room was small, but very, very clean, this is meant for an over-night stop, no frills hotel, but the sheets were white and crisp, the toilet and shower cubicle was spotlessly clean, I will definately use this hotel again...The staff were very polite and very helpful... although there is no restaurant the Campanile Hotel next door has a wonderful restaurant and the Premiere Classe customers get a 15% discount...my only concern is there is no English TV channels,, but that's not that important

While this hotel is conveniently close to the Ferry terminal, i would not choose to stay here again. Facilities in the room are very basic and decor in corridors is reminiscent of a warehouse. I felt rather unsafe for some reason. Soundproofing between rooms was nonexistant. No kettle or even a glass in room. No carpet on floor, only linoleum. While this is in the same price range as Travelodge, the facilities are much poorer.

This is a very basic hotel close to the Dunkirk ferry terminal. It suited us, as we were having an early start the next day, and only needed a bed and private bathroom, which was a small 'plastic' cabin in the already small room. Nothing special, but what does one expect for that price? For that reason, we will use it again.

Excellent site for travel on the ferry to UK - 5 minutes from the terminal. Easy drive to Dunkirk town. Room basic but all facilities

The Premier Class at Loon Plage can be noisy (young guests) and sleep is often interrupted. The rooms are getting little tired and relatively small. Pillows (only one per person) are small and short on padding. Two hand towels would make a big difference. The restaurant at the adjacent Campanile provides good food at reasonable prices, although if you wish to take advantage of the buffet, get there early as it has not been restocked during our stays The standard of cleanliness was good.

Accueil sympathique, facile à trouver, tranquille, une bonne nuit de repos, petit déjeuner suffisant: tout va bien, on garde l'adresse

Parfait pour acceder au ferry, lit confortable, chambre chaud, accueil souriant.

Impression générale de la chambre très moyenne. Dessous de lit usé et taché. Moquette et mur très défraichis. Une remise à neuf des chambres s'impose.
