SIDNEY PIER HOTEL AND SPA - سيدني

The hotel was easily found. Check in was fairly quick, and staff were very courteous. The room we stayed in was clean and a nice size. We had a balcony to look at the ocean, and a short walk in any direction took us to many restaurants, lovely shops or a walk on the pier over the ocean. It was a shame we were in Sidney for only a one night stay. The hotel itself was really quiet so we were able to have a great nights sleep. I would definitely stay there again, although I might try to find a hotel that included breakfast next trip for the same price.

The location was great -- overlooking the water. We enjoyed walking along the path beside the ocean. The service was excellent: very friendly & responsive. The room was clean, attractive and well-equipped. We really appreciated the kettle (we're tea drinkers) & also the fridge. I found the mattress a little too hard for my aging, arthritic joints, though it's probably fine for most people. All in all, though, an excellent hotel.

I was concerned that this hotel, like many in Sydney are "pet friendly." But there was no reason to be. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were on the town side but it was very quiet. We enjoyed the Thursday market and the British shop close by. I did not book this hotel with the idea that it is also touted as a spa but if I had I would have been disappointed. If you are looking for a spa experience look elsewhere.

Totally loved it. Nice area, great shops, a nice changeform being down town. Loved the contemporary style and the quietness of the area!

Beyond expectations...Very enjoyable! Remarkable scenery and cleanliness of the community.

This was one of the nicest hotel experiences we have had in some time. Sidney is a small town with a lot of charm and an easy walk from the Anacortes Ferry if traveling with light luggage. The Sidney Pier Hotel and Spa room was spacious, sparkling new and the views were impressive and great for people or boat watching. We could see the local young gendarmes on bikes patrolling the harbor and stopping to say hello as we walked the pier. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. After an afternoon at Butchart Gardens, we had our dinner sitting outside on our rooms patio 3rd floor, overlooking most of the harbor. The weather was perfect. Afterwards we took a walk along the Sidney Harbor-side Boardwalk with it's wonderful sidewalk sculptures. Everyone said we must go to Victoria. We will do that on our next trip, but will stay with this hotel. Our only regret was that we had only one day before returning. This was a perfect get-away with a lot less traffic and such different sunlight hours. We both this hotel 5 out of 5 stars for comfort, cleanliness, and enjoyment.

We stayed at the Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa while we were in Sidney getting married. The view from our room was excellent, we could see the fireworks and hear the band playing from our room. The staff was helpful and kind, even bringing us chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a sea view. Close to the pier great location.

It was very modern in decor. The view was fantastic. It was close to restaurants, shops and airport.

Fabulous waterfront location. Good coffee shop and excellent restaurant attached. Staff were very freindly and helpful. Every thing needed was provided including high quality toiletries and hairdryer. Would recommend the suites which have well equipped kitchen and as there is a supermarket across the road it is good to have the choice to eat in if wanted.

I recently stayed at the Sidney Pier Hotel and Spa for business and had a great experience. The staff were extremely pleasant and accomodating, and the atmosphere was great! My only regret was not bringing my workout gear do I could use their 24 hour gym with a fantastic view and that I was only able to stay one night. Great location, great hotel, I would definitely stay there again.

An amazing room and location. Only draw back is the staff in the bar!! and laundry bins in the hallway. Small compared to the rest of the great attributes

we came for a wedding, not having been to Sydney , and was pleasently suprised at the location and awesomeness of the sydney pier hotel. In walking distance of almost everyhing, a great seawall, don't have to worry about drinking and driving, everthing is within 2 blocks. The only negative I can think of would be my cell phone reception wasn't great inside the room. I will go back, and recommend it to everyone.

Great location, wonderful beds, convenient, clean and very luxurious rooms. Will come back again.

Good location. Clean. Our stay was too short (7 hours overnight) to comment further.

My daughter and I really enjoyed the upgraded room that we had. It was very sumptuous and comfortable., We loved the view of the harbour and all the amenities that went with the upgraded room. The balcony was lovely as the morning was very sunnjy. We loved being so close to downtown Sidney as it is a very pleasant litle town and it was nice to walk down there and down along the pier. Thank you so much..

Beautiful property and right on the water. My wife reports the shopping was fantastic and very close to the property. The rooms were very nice, bedding comfortable and the HVAC system actually worked. We'll be back, we loved it.

We loved everything about this hotel EXCEPT the terrible service we received at Haro's Restaurant. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was attractive and comfortable. The location and view are terrific. The price was reasonable given the quality of the accommodations. I am very sorry that I cannot say the same about our experience at Haro's Restaurant. When we arrived for dinner, we were tired from a week of traveling, and had eaten a large lunch earlier. We were looking for a light supper before turning in for the night. Our waiter was very helpful and courteous right up until the moment we placed our orders for light dishes from the "all-day menu" rather than for the pricey "signature dishes." Our drinks and meals were served, and from that moment on we were completely ignored. Two nearby tables, where multiple courses and bottles of wine were being consumed, appeared to be receiving very attentive service, both from the waiter and from the house manager. Our waiter did not even glance our way when serving those other tables, however, and in fact seemed to be pointedly ignoring us, as I was completely unable to attract his attention. We finished our meal and sat with empty plates and glasses for nearly ten minutes. For the first time in my life, I found it necessary to rise from my seat and walk across the dining room to ask the waiter to deliver our check. Unbelievable, and completely unacceptable. I recommend the hotel accommodations very highly. Unless you plan to spend enough money to win the wait staff's attention, however, I would avoid Haro's restaurant, where providing quality service to the hotel's guests did not appear to be a priority.

The rooms are very very clean here. We stayed in 3 different rooms over a weeks time checking in and out. The building is very well built because more than half is luxury condos. The air conditioning is perfect. They have 3 dispensers in the shower with body wash, shampoo and conditioner from a local Canadian company that are fantastic and convenient to use.

Great room , , . kind of a "zen" atmosphere. Very clean and loved the resident canine--Dave.
