Tara Firma Inn - Volcano - فولكانو

Perfectly located close to Volcano NP. Clean room, very good breakfast and individual service. Breakfast was provided on our request at 3.30 AM! Free internet. Very helpful hosts!

Stayed in the ginger room. A bit dusty but we were tired from adventuring through the park and the smell of cedar in the house was amazing. Fritz, one of the owners, met us, it was simple. Complimentary water and a great breakfast of fruit, toast, coffee and tea. The living room w tv and fireplace is available for guest use. Loved this place, hope to return.

Friendly owners. Accomodations were great. The only issue was that because the place is heated with a wood burning stove, it had a strong smell of campfire inside.

It was great! Fritz was really nice and if I'm going back I will definitly stay there again!

We stayed in "Orchid Suite" which is two rooms, my teenager son enjoyed the open loft room with Books to read. My 7 yrs old daughter liked better than Hilton Waikoloa Village. The house is old but owner kept it very clean. Owner was very nice & friendly, talked to us a lot to make sure we were comfortable. He gave us a lot of information about Big islands. If we go back to the Volcano, we will stay there again. Just get there before the dark. Street are narrow. A little hard to find.

Like the idea that the owner actually spent some times visiting us during the breakfast.

The bathroom /shower facilities were very nice. Positive. The bed was made out of some sort of a 6" platform with an old spring and mattress on it. You have to see it to really believe it. Big Negative There was no tv in the room, no amenities and nothing to ever make you want to come back again. I travel at least three days per week. In the last three years of traveling, this hotel was easily the worst I have experienced in that period.

Fine hospitality. Nice cedar interior. Excellent coffee & breakfast. Mid December & was provided a room heater.

We stayed 2 nights here this past week and loved it. Super cozy and the hosts were very nice. The location is perfect (5 min away) from Volcano Park. There are two really great restaurants minutes away. It is perfect for visiting South Point or Volcano National Park. We even met a chameleon during breakfast one morning. We watch him change colors and eat bugs outside the window. It was awesome.

This is a quiet bed and breakfeast located in Volcano village. Room ok with quite old furniture; bathroom renovated; nice breakfeast and helpful owner

Tara Firma Inn, Volcano, HI is located in a quiet, easily accessible location within a short driving distance of the Hilo Airport and is located near Volcano National Park entrance. Directions to the Inn were clear and easy to follow. Fritz and Kate Bell provided a friendly, accomodating atmosphere that made me feel completely at ease. I enjoyed the local fruits and the fresh hot coffee every morning. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and free of busy traffic. My stay was pleasant and enjoyable.

We stayed in a charming bed & breakfast in what seems a remote part of Volcano and that suited us just fine. The community of Volcano is situated in the forest and you are scarcely aware of neighbours around you. The place is ideally located if you want quick access to the park, allowing night-viewing of the crater with no worries about long drives on a narrow twisty highway in the dark. Our accommodations were what you would expect for a bed and breakfast and we had a lot of privacy so we felt relaxed there. Our other choice was to stay in Hilo if we wanted to observe what was going on that side of the island without a long commute. Given our main interest was the volcano and the length of the commute to the crater, this made more sense. The sights and sounds around Volcano was a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of other areas of the Island.

Tara Firma was a great place for 6 people! The house was large and sheets and beds were comfy! The fresh fruit and cofee was an added bonus in a beautiful surrounding fern forest.

Die Unterkunft liegt gut 5-Autominuten von der Nationalpark-Einfahrt entfernt. Im Lodge hatten wir ein Schafzimmer mit Bad, und eine Veranda oberhalb des allgemein genutzten Raums zur Verfügung. Das europäische Frühstück wurde durch Fruchtschalen-Kreationen erfreulich bereichert. Die Küche der Gastgeber ist nicht vom Allgemeinraum getrennt, konnte nach Rücksprache aber mit genutzt werden. Ein weiterer Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle ist speziell für die Gäste. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er gibt gerne Tipps für die Erkundung der Umgebung.

Very nice little house, convenient for a family. Nice hosts, fine breakfast. You just need to adapt to the smell of a wooden house.

ホテルの場所は、注意深く行けば間違いなく見つかります。小さいですが看板も出ています。私たちは5人だったので、貸切で宿泊できました。4人の部屋と2人の部屋なので、5人以上なら貸切になります。タラさんがとても優しいです。夜は山の中なので、真っ暗だし、静寂です。車で5分くらいの場所にレストランなどはありますが、真っ暗な中に出かけるなら、カーナビがあるほうが無難でしょう。私たちは、持っていたパンがあったので、食卓を貸していただいて食事をしました。トースターやレンジなど自由に使っていいと言ってくださいました。お茶などの種類も豊富で（10種類以上）、どれも美味しかったです。ミルクも自由に飲んでいいと言われました。朝ご飯は、パンとフレークを自由に食べていいと言われ、トロピカルフルーツをきれいにカットして出してくれました。とっても美味しかったです。もちろんお茶やコーヒーも飲み放題でした。山の中なので、やはり朝夕は冷え込みました。朝は、薪をくべて暖炉を入れてくれていました。お風呂は、ドアの仕切りがあるシャワースペースがあり、バスタブも分かれていたので、水のはねについて気にしないでシャワーを浴びることができましたが、さすがに5人なので、お湯を使いきってしまうことがあり、そんな時は少し待つとお湯が出ました。それ以外は、注意する点はありませんでした。またぜひ泊りたいです。

Die unterkunft ist sehr nett und man wird persönlich empfangen, die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich, allerdings riecht das ganze Haus stark nach Holzwurmmittel (giftig, meint mein Mann, der Chemiker).

Super hyggeligt træhus hvor man nærmest får fornemmelsen af at bo midt i regnskoven - og så føler man sig virkelig hjemme i huset hos de super gæstfrie værter. Eneste minus var at ingefærværelset ikke var så stort og at der var et bliktag lige uden for døren der larmede lidt når det regned (og det gør det vist ret ofte lige der).

abitazione carina e accogliente, peccato che la nostra camera fosse il soppalco della cucina e che il proprietario abbia cominciato a preparare la colazione alle 4.45 del mattino con tanto di luce accesa e di caffè gorgogliante.nessuno ci ha avvisato di tale situazione. soppalco non oscurabile. un letto era costituito da un materasso gonfiabile.colazione curata ma non sostanziosa

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Super Frühstück - herzliches Dankeschön! Etwas versteckte Lage dafür sehr ruhig.
