Hotel Miramare - كالياري

We had a wonderful 3 days at the hotel this July. The rooms and common areas were perfectly decorated, the breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were most helpful to us who don't speak Italian very well! I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cagliari. Great central location, beautiful interiors, and wonderful people. Thank you Hotel Miramare! We'll be back...

The best things about this establishment are the great welcome given by the management and staff and its very convenient location. Decent complimentary breakfast. Decor - faded grandeur - think "Room with a View". On arrival you are faced with a long flight of stairs - you only get access to the lift after you have checked in. The front rooms face onto a busy road but have excellent views.

Central location meant that street noise was somewhat disturbing at night. Staff very helpful.

Hotel Miramare is located in a public, open office building, shared with other offices, on a 3rd floor. No real security for guests inside building or dedicated lobby. Paint is falling off the walls in the main stairwell. The tiny elevator was full of graffitti. Rooms are dark and dank. Cleanliness is not ideal. Bed mattresses are low quality. Furniture quality is mediocre and improvised. We had a chair for a night table, for example. Bathrooms in the Classic rooms are horrible. Tiny. Our shower (no tubs) measured 24 x 24 inches! I could not bend my knee to wash my feet! We were given a second room and same situation, except the shower head leaked everywhere and fell off the wall. No Wifi when we stayed. Staff are as helpful as they can be. This is by no means a 4 star hotel as they claim. It is a 2-star hostel.

Stayed just the one night at the end of a weeks holiday in a villa. Location is superb, right on Via Roma overlooking the harbour. Parking can be a challenge. The receptionist was very good, gave us free drinks on arrival whilst he checked us in. Sat in the lovely lounge with it's "interesting" array of literature. The room was lovely, sumptuous and comfortable, well furnished with lovely old wardrobes and a huge bed. Bathroom clean and very splendid with some nice attention to detail like the toiletries. Great balcony overlooking the harbour and Via Roma ( condition of the concrete balcony makes for a nervous adventure ! ) but great views. Good size doors and windows still shut out the noise of the city very well. Air con was good ( 40 degrees outside ! ) and quiet. We would definately return to this stunning hotel with so much attention to detail it puts far grander and more expensive hotels to shame. A real credit to the owners.

We stayed here for the first 2 days of our Sardegna vacation to explore Cagliari. The location couldn't be better as it's right in front of the sea. Restaurants are minutes away walking distance. The only complaint I can have is that the breakfast was 16 euros each person which is very pricey for a simple breakfast. If I stayed again, I'd walk downstairs to the one of the cafes and have breakfast there for probably 5 euros.

The hotel was really nice and quirky, much better than usual corporate type hotel, if you really like that type you might not like the Miramar. Couple of minor niggles were that on several occasions there was no hot water when using shower, but when we called up to reception they rectified it, said they were having a problem with the boiler. Room was pretty small and not enough storage space for clothes, and although there certainly was a balcony it was only big enough to stand on, not enough room for a chair. Girlfriend was really miffed about no mirror in the room, can't say it bothered me but then I'm not much of one for looking in mirrors, probably shows!. If you look at the pictures of the hotel on-line you really have to give credit to the photographer for making the rooms look a lot more spacious than they are. I loved the location, really handy for heading out to anywhere, the town centre, or be it the bus or train station, and the bus to Poetto beach practically goes by the front door.

I stayed here at the last minute due to volcano ash cloud, I was upgraded to a suite, and wow it was impressive. The design was awesome and had massive tv, comfy king size bed, stereo. The food was excellent at breakfast and the staff were really helpful. I'd really recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to chill out and relax. Also had a great view overlooking the port and sea!

I have just returned from a long weekend at the Miramare with my Mum and 11 year old daughter. I spent a long time choosing somewhere suitable for our 'girly' break but couldn't have been happier with my decision to choose the Mirimare. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were upgraded to a suite for the first 3 nights, which was fab but then moved to the standard room which I had booked. The hotel contacted me before we arrived to check we were happy to move rooms and although we loved the suite we were more than happy with the standard. The hotel booked a taxi to collect us from the airport which was pricey but worth it as we didn't arrive until late. We returned to the airport on the bus which took less than 10 minutes and cost 2 euros each. The Miramare is perfectly located for restaurants and bars and is only 10 minutes by bus from the beach at Poetto, where we spent most of our time as it was so hot. The breakfast in the hotel is simple but delicious, I loved the coconut cake and the fresh fruit and cheeses. At night the stairs leading up to the hotel and the corridors were lit with lanterns which gave everywhere a lovely cosy feel. We had a fantastic time and would love to return.

This hotel was in an ideal location with shops, restuarants on the door step. Main bus / train station within 1o minute walk. Whwn we arrived around midnight we were offered a glass of wine - this was added to our bill on check out, otherwise a very enjoyable stay

Accueil super, très bonne situation dans la ville de Cagliari, proche de la gare, des commerces et du port. Le bus pour la plage de La Poetta est à quelques mètres en face de l'hôtel. Décoration intéressante et un peu "quitch" mais propre et sympathique. Je le recommande sans hésiter

Das Hotel liegt an der via roma und ist ein zentraler Ort um die Stadt zu erkunden. direkt vor der Eingangstüre hat es einige Bars, wo man auch guten Salat erhält. Das Frühstücksbuffet dürfte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein, z B.Cornetti gab es nie. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und gab gute Tipps, wie man bestimmte Punkte erreichen kann.

We were lucky because we were upgraded to a classic room which was unbelievable. 5 meters under the ceiling, white bathtub in the middle of the floor, chandeliers and so on. But the rest of the hotel is very nice, the service was extremely friendly. I could not recommend this hotel stronger.

Hôtel à la fois confortable avec un luxe un peu kitsch et surprenant (surtout la chambre vert foncé et bordeaux!!!) mais où l'on sent tout l'esprit de cette ville : vue magnifique depuis la chambre comme depuis la salle de petit déjeuner ; service sérieux et professionnel très aimable ;petit déjeuner excellent et copieux avec specialités sardes ; seule critique: le café très(trop) fort et amer : bien préciser en outre café "longo" sinon on obtient un expresso très vraiment très fort (il y a probablement des amateurs toutefois!!!)

Absolutely charming hotel, fantastic decor and a very special, personal feel - would definitely stay here again as first choice.

Meget venlig service og spændende indretning Hver etage og hvert værelse er anderledes indrettet og har hver sin personlige stil Vi var velkomne med vores lille hund Eneste mindre ulempe var at der var meget lyd fra gaden og fra airconditionen Fantastisk god beliggenhed ved havnefronten og Remy Bastionen

Erg gezellig echt italiaans hotel. Als je onderstaat denk je van als dit maar goed komt, hotel zit op de tweede verdieping en zodra je daar s'avonds de trap op loopt wat verlicht wordt door op elke tree een kandelaar met een kaars waan je je al in romantische sfeer. Om de leukse eettentjes te vinden kun je gewoon het personeel vragen die alles voor je opschrijven en uittekenen op schrijven, erg gastvrij! Ontbijt simpel italiaans maar erg lekker.

Surtout ne pas accepter les chambres donnant sur le port, la première nuit à été un nuit blanche, extrèmement bruyant , car il y énormement de traffic routier, meme le double vitrage n'y fait rien. La direction nous a changé de chambre sans difficulté le lendemain. Manifestement ils sont conscient du problème. toutes les autres chambres sur l'arrière sont supers, le petit dejeuner est très agréable et le personnel est sympas.
