{couple from US, ages 58 & 67} An easy 5-7 min. walk (at most) with luggage from the train station if you exit the station onto via Marsala. DO NOT EXIT through the front where the busses and taxis are all located. To hotel: Leave the station by exiting onto via Marsala (NOT THE FRONT OF THE STATION), cross the street & walk down ONE block, turn LEFT at next street (via Magenta) and hotel is up two blocks on LEFT. Look up and the sign "Hotel New York" is just above the YES Hotel entrance. Ring the bell and they'll let you in. The area is safe, even if you have small children or an elderly person traveling with you. The staff could NOT be more helpful and their English is EXCELLENT! The lift could hold about 3-4 people and was in excellent working order. Free, quick internet in the lobby; must pay if using in your room. The room is on the small side, but has a safe, refrig., GOOD A/C and an adequate shower, although small. (fyi: For those that cruise, the shower is the same size as the one on Allure of the Seas, which means it is not that big. My husband is 5'11 but did ok with it.) The room is very clean, fresh smelling and shower soap is provided. Breakfast is more than enough. Ham, salami, cheese, warm scrambled & hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, juices, milk, coffee/tea, bread, rolls, tomatoes, cucumbers and fresh pastries which are constantly replenished. There is free Americano coffee 24/7. There are good places to eat within 1-3 blocks from the hotel.

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Service was great and very helpful. Breakfast was awful but it is included so no love lost, besides there are wonderful cafes very close by. The location is convenient because it is only 2 blocks away from Termini Station. This makes it very easy to travel to the airport and the metro.

Had an excellent stay. Hotel location superb - minutes from main train Station and most sights within easy walking distance. Hotel itself was great value for money , exceptionally clean and comfortable.Very good breakfast. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone

I stayed here the last night before my morning flight out of Fiumicino. A two minute walk from Termini station, it is very convenient, although the surrounding neighborhood is a little seedy especially at night (would recommend arriving before 9pm). Front desk staff was courteous, professional and efficient. They made arrangements for me to have breakfast early so I could eat before leaving the next morning, which was beyond my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable.

What a pleasant surprise. We did not expect such a modern and comfortable hotel in that area. The people at the desk we so so helpful and courteous and the location of the hotel just couldnt have been any better. Great breakfast too. Good value, great location, great service!!! 5's all around!!. Also it is 1-2 blocks to the Rome Termini and you can catch the Rome Hop On/Hope Off bus for 20 Euros. That is an excellent way to get around.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff, a good breakfast and a very large room (a quadruple) with full sized bathroom and bath. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from Termini and handy for the hop on, hop off bus. Also walking distance to the Trevi Fountain (about 20 minutes). The only drawback was some dubious looking men hanging around in the streets around the area making it feel less than safe.

We had a great stay at Yes hotel! The staff are incredibly welcoming and the location is a fantastic base for exploring Rome. We would definitely return.

Good hotel for overnight stay by Roma Termini station, but otherwise there are better options for the price in Rome.

We were given a room at the ground floor. Since the hotel is not far from the Roma Termini, it was sort of noisy especially at night or early in the morning. We could hear people walking by with their luggage. The rest was up to standard and the price is very affordable!

Modern hotel with nice breakfast, freindly staff and good location

Super clean hotel. Great location 2 blocks from the mail train station: Roma Terminal. Good staff working there who were very helpful.

Clean and modern hotel. Chose it because it was near to Termini. Rooms average size, nice bathroom with proper shower cubicle. No windows in room to speak of. Breakfast was average and the room was very hot and crowded. Apart from the convenience of being so close to the station, would probably stay somewhere else next time.

I cant say enough things about the staff, they were awesome! The outside of the hotel is old but don't let that fool you because the inside is very clean and beautiful! It is located very close to just about everything you would want to see in Rome!

great quality of all aspects including breakfast - in particular at that price point. Strongly recommend - will go back for sure. exceptional value !

As others have said, the rooms are on the small side (that is the only reason I gave 3 out of 5 for "comfort of your room"). However, if you are not interested in doing pilates in your hotel room, you should be fine. The rooms are very modern looking, which I have found is very rare during travelling throught Italy. I have stayed in 4 star hotels in Florence and Venice which looked like they have not been updated since the early 1980's so this hotel was was pleasant surprise for a 3 star. The hotel is situated on a quiet street, just a block north of the central train station/subway station which I found very convenient. The staff were very curtious and helpful. If I ever travel to Rome again, I will consider Yes Hotel to be a top choice.

Stayed in this hotel for one night before travelling on to our destination as our flight got in too late to travel. Thought the hotel was great. Easy to find (though should say street is easy to find but as there is no hanging sign for hotel you need to pay attention to find it). Was not too expensive and the room was very very clean (most importantly!!!) Breakfast selection was not the best, but doesn't really matter, you are in Rome so easy enough to find good food. Will definitely come back to stay here when I am next in Rome:)

The positive reviews were accurate. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. Contemporary decor, nice breakfast, air conditioning worked well. Hotel offers a quad room for family of 4. A short walk from Roma Termini train station for travellers. Would definitely return.

The hotel seems like it has just been refurbished. Everything is clean and modern - a welcome change from many other Rome hotels. Front desk was very helpful. The location is close to Termini station (but no train noise) and handy to central Rome's attractions.Only slight negative was size of rooms - but this is Rome!

I was in Rome for a conference which had a list of preferred hotels (all within several blocks of Termini). Most of these hotels had a low ratings on the review sites; so I decided to pick one on my own. Have selected Yes hotel after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. It is a very clean and well run hotel (not as common in Rome as one might hope for). I was quite satisfied with my choice; especially after hearing complaints from other conference participants about their accommodations. The only complaint that I have, is that internet connection was quite slow (although to be fair that seems to be the case throughout Rome).

Yes hotel a a lovely place to stay in Rome. Very clean, goods sized room, nice breakfast and very helpful staff. Totally recommend it.Value for money

Great hotel within walking distance of the main train station and lovely restaurants nearby. Breakfast was brilliant, great selection of cold and hot - meats, cheeses, breads, cereals and croissants all included in the room rate. Only suggestion would be better signage out the front, you cant see it from either end of the road until you get close. But all in all would definitely recommend.

This is an excellent hotel. I do not understand why it has three stars only. The hotel is renovated in modern style, very clean. Friendly reception staff, good service. We were upgraded without asking. Breakfast was very nice – the best of all. We could compare with other hotels during our 3 weeks in Europe (4 different counties). This is the best hotel we’ve had a pleasure to stay in. Free internet.

Clean and has air conditioning. Located only a couple blocks from the train station.

A clean comfortable 3star hotel close to Termini train station and with rester aunts and laundry close by. Good value for a short ie one to two days stay.

Good service, english speaking, perfect localisation - 200 meters from Terminal. Exceptionally good room service. Nice buffet breakfast. Will stay there also next time in Rome.

The hotel is conveniently located for airport, rail and metro connections. Staff were helpful and the rooms are clean. The bedrooms/facilities are compact and a large person could struggle with the size of the shower cubicle. We found the bed too hard for our liking. Ask for a room at the rear as those at the front can be noisy. We had to open the windows as the central A/C was not switched on and were disturbed by the traffic noise.

The location of hotel is good. It is easy to get from Termini station. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good with various selection of bread and ham. The reception staff are always at the desk and really friendly and helpful. They told us the scenic spots when we arrived. I will stay in this hotel again when i visit Rome next time.

Had 3 night stay here, hotel is spotless, lovely buffet breakfast included in the rate, room had 2 single beds, mini-fridge, tv, and good size shower room. Staff very friendly, the chap on reception gave us a map and advised us of how to get to different areas of rome. Free use of computer in lobby was handy for checking things, the only down side was the connection seemed to be very slow and pages took ages to load. Would stay here again if ever back in rome.

Very clean but spartan rooms, very very small size. Also note that in room I stayed in, the bidet positioned too close to the wall on one side. Hallway echo noise (I was in the adjacent 'dependance') whenever someone came through the main door. Nevertheless, highly central location and reasonable price make for a very convenient, clean, good value choice.

i would have no problem recommending this hotel ,great staff, good breakfast, and ideal location

The stay at this hotel was very nice. The hotel location was perfect. The Termini trainstation was just 5-10min walk away. There was also at metro nearby, but we walk around town - not that far away from most attractions. The staff was friendly, breakfast had many choices, and everything was nice an clean. We will deffintly return next time visiting Rome. Two thumbs up from Denmark.

Awesome! The reception staff were extremely helpful and nice. The location is great, very close to the Termini. Highly recommend this hotel.

Aside from the computer being out of commission for repairs, the breakfast was excellent, the service was great, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the location ideal. This was my third time to Italy, and I've travelled the world from corner to corner, and I wish this hotel was present in every country. If anyone complains about this hotel, they're spoiled on a level I cant even imagine.

This a well run and conveniently located hotel. The one problem was the hardness of the mattresses. This seemed to be common in Italian hotels, but these were particularly hard. If you are used to soft mattresses, this may effect your sleep.

IT IS NOISE DURING NIGHT TIME.BUT THE SERVICE AND THE ROOM IS GOOD.

My wife and I were very satisfied with our stay at Yes Hotel. The location was very convenient - just a stone's throw from Rome's Termini station with train and bus transport to/from the airports. The hotel was reasonably priced. Room was very clean. Reception were very friendly and helpful. And the continental breakfast was lovely and fresh.

The hotel is only a block away from the sentral square in front of the Termini, the trainstation with close acces to to nearly everything you possibly need for a nice stay in Rome. Although very sentral, the hotel is in a quiet spot at the Via Magenta. Very nice and clean room and at all times helpfull personell gave us a very nice stay!
