Very comfortable as usual.

Did not like. Had a heater or some kind of plastic smell and was kind of noisy due to being close to freeway. Otherwise the room was clean and had good breakfast with variety of choice.

This was a nice place, clean and comfortable. Excellent service. Great breakfast in the am.

Motel was clean, confortable and staff was professional. Would stay here again.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and were able to get an early check in. Access to and from the Laurel Inn was very convenient from Highway 101 and outlying areas of Salinas. My wife and I were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and grounds (very well maintained) and eventhough the pool wasn't heated, the hot tub and sauna were great. We will definitly stay at the Laurel Inn in the future and have already reccomended it ti others. I would like to mention one more time that the Laurel Inn staff were very friendly and accommodating. Don't expect the best at this hotel and you won't be disappointed. It's quite feasible for the money. I didn't have good TV reception in my room. If I spent a lot of time wanting to enjoy TV, I would have switched rooms. The staff members were very friendly at the front desk. The hotel is quite busy during my stay and I could hear the people in the next room. There's always coffee and tea in the lobby which is convenient, cookies are served in the early afternoon. The room along with the shower was very clean. I would stay here again if I'm in the area.

Clean comforatble room for our golf trip. Very pleased with the breakfast. Separate Dining Area which was very clean and the service was excellant. Didn"t expect this featrure for the price we paid. We would stay again in the future.

no other hotel can provide same quality for same price. wifi was fast. a seperate continental breakfast room was excellent. room was old but well maintained. definetly our family will stay again there. if you are looking for cheap hotel with good quality, this hotel is the best choice

My family had to travel to Salinas for a family funeral. With little time to plan and trying to keep the budget low, the reviews of the Laurel Inn looked promising. Nice little Motel close to most amenities. A 5 minute drive from down town Salinas. The staff was courteous and responsive, the room was no frills, but clean and comfortable and overall I would stay again under the same circumstances. If I were actually vacationing for a longer stay, I might opt for something else. I say book with confidence.

This isn't a five star hotel. But it had everything you need. Great price, room was very clean, restaurant, mini mart, and dozens of stores within .5 miles. Front desk had multiple irons and mini ironing boards. The only thing missing was a microwave. Surrounding area seemed very safe. Restaurant in parking lot even offers 10% off to hotel customers. Card with discount located at front desk.

close to everyone i went to see. close to restaurants, and shopping. close to the beach in Monterrey, nad Santa cruz. no complaints at all. would stay there again.

This hotel was clean and convenient. The continental breakfast was very good. I stay there when I visit people and it is very convenient location to their homes.

The Laurel Inn was very clean, convenient, and right next to the Black Bear Diner for breakfast. Very good value, I would definitely stay there again if I was passing through.

As I was going thru Hotels.com, I found it very hard to look for a place to stay in Salinas. I started at the cheapest and went all the way thru to the more expensive well known hotels. The reviews mentioned "bad part of town" or "bedbugs" or "mold". None of them had as good ratings as the Laurel Motel did. The rooms were very clean, convenient to the freeway to get to downtown Salinas and the Steinbeck Museum. Nice continental breakfast. I would certainly stay there again. Robert B. Solvang, CA

My extended family stayed here after I booked based upon other reviewers and was rewarded with friendly service and a nice stay. Rooms were clean (I checked in my parents), neat, and while somewhat dated, for the price and condition it couldn't be beat. Easy access from the 101, and the BB Diner next door was a plus if you wanted something more than the continental served at the Inn. We'll be back next year!

I really enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were very clean and the TV had some variety. The breakfast dining area was very bright and cheery, just right first thing in the morning, well staffed and very friendly people, will definite use again.

inexpensive, clean and quiet room. pillows were a bit lumpy and beds too hard for my liking, but slept fine. the breakfast was a generous self-self continental. good variety and quality.

Laurel Inn proved an incredibly accessible spot in our travels south. We appreciated the clean, quiet environs.

Only 30 min from Monterey, It's the best option for b&b in the area. The (regular) room was very big and clean, had a tv and a fireplace, and the breakfast was good also. This motel had the lowest rate per night in our entire trip to the US. Too bad we only been there for 1 night...

The hotel is one of the noisiest hotels we tried out on our four week round trip. The fridge was also noisy but didn´t cool, the A/C was working well but much too loud for sleeping. The pool looked nice on pictures, but in reality nobody wants to use a pool in the middle of the parking lot, only a few yards away from an Interstate. Bed was comfortable, but not the pillows. The breakfast was ok, the staff tried to be friendly but overall it was a bad experience. Every car passing by and every word spoken on the parking lot was good to hear inside the room with closed door and window. We will never visit this hotel again.

2 queens room, the room is big enough and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Bananas, apples, juice, milk, toast, bagle etc. Also choices of coffee and tea. We had nice stay. outdoor pool is kind of in the middle of parking lot, but weather is kind of too cold to swim in Oct anyway..

good location, big room, comfy bed. hated th toilet.............

Very clean. Looks recently remodeled. The bed was very firm, which I enjoyed. A great value for the area.

Very happy with value. Low cost hotel that was clean, neat, well run, and friendly. Got more value for the dollar than expected. Will return next year to stay for the Northern Ca. Ren Fest.

One of the hotels booked through Hotels.com for our recent tour of California and it was fantastic, from booking in at reception to breakfast the whole experience was "makes us very happy" all the way, and that is the way it should be, what better feeling....

We always stay here every time we go to Laguna Seca Raceway. It's right off the freeway, clean and fairly comfortable. Black Bear diner on property.

So grateful to stay at this inn during a family emergency. Everybody was terrific to us and let us stay an extra day with no increase in room rate. Traveled with 83-year-old father who appreciated his quiet room with king bed. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Host gave us a to-go bag and we packed breakfast to eat at hospital. Highly recommend The Laurel Inn. Spotless and very convenient location.
