This hotel is cheap and very well located, between the main train station and Place de la Comédie, downtown. However it lacks the standard modern comfort: no elevator, old washroom, only one light, and it looks not very clean.

The hotel is in a great location, right off Place de La Comédie. If you're looking for a centrally located hotel with no frills then this is it. Air con, TV, hot water in the rooms, friendly staff. Perfect for our few days in Montpellier.

Like what almost everyone says in their reviews, I will NEVER again stay at this hotel. It was too expensive for what it offers. My room was on the 3rd floor (of course, no elevator,) and the AC in the room "did not work" as the guy at the front desk told me, and when I arrived at the hotel there was no towels in the room. Somebody brought two towels to my room after I checked in and was away sightseeing. The room was really like a prison cell and was not so clean. TV didn't even have a remote, and there was no phone, no nothing!!! It was just plain terrible. i should've read the reviews before booking this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I'd rather stay at a youth hostel than stay at this place for the price I paid for it.

Location was perfect and the sheets were clean and there was hot water. Fortunately we only had to stay at the hotel one night as the room was dirty and many light bulbs did not work. Much tidying up needed in rooms but guess you get vwhat you pay for. Definately would not go back or recommend. Guess hotel good for backpackers.

Overall pretty poor On the good side, the location is excellent, but no loo seat or shower curtain in both our rooms. loose taps and electrical fittings. Unable to turn on air con on a 37 degree C day also not good.

So the room was very basic and not pleasant on the eyes but the location could not be beat. No major complaints except maybe the timer light on the restroom. Other than that the room was clean and covered the basics.

This hotel was in a great part of town, but it doesn't really cater to travelers as there is no elevator and if you have bags, you hoof them up at least one flight of stairs. The room was tolerable, but there was an intense smell of mold in the shower area that bled over into the room unless you kept the door shut. Couldn't use the shower because it smelled so bad. No air conditioning or at least the non-English speaking staff couldn't understand what we were asking in regards to getting it turned on.

The hotel has 2,5 stars but they didn't have in 'their best room" even a closet to hang out your close, and in the bathroom they didn't have a toilet seat. And everyone there was telling us that there is nothing they can do, they are there only employees, and the manager even if they call him he won't solve the problem. And all that knowing that we payed the most expensive double room in the hotel...

This hotel is superbly located but that is it's best feature. The rooms are very basic. There is no wardrobe, no telephone, no carpet and few (if any) wall furnishings. There is air conditioning but the remote is at reception. There is also a TV with just the basic, terrestrial channels and again, no remote in the room. The bathrooms are small with nowhere to unpack your toiletries and you will only get bulk, liquid soap (of a dubious colour.) There is a hairdryer. That said, the staff are friendly and helpful and if you you are aware of what you're getting into and do not mind eschewing your creature comforts, then this place is for you! I slept well here. My room was at the front but the double-glazing kept out all the noise. I also had a look at the tariffs of nearby hotels and this one is at least 1/3rd the price of those, so I slept even better! Getting here is so easy, as the tram stop is just outside, the St Roch station about a 3 minute walk (honestly) and the main square about the same. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would - unless it was a special occasion and I wanted to treat myself or my companion.

Unclean. Broken blinds on windows. Light in room did not work upon arrival and we had to change the light bulb. Bare minimum of furniture in room. NOISY in the hallways of hostel until 3 am (and on street below). All this place has going for it is the location. I would pay the taxi ride to another hotel next time to avoid staying here.

The location of the hotel is great - two mins walk to the centre. Staff were friendly. The room was clean. Downsides were a lumpy bolster instead of a pillow; a bare light bulb as the only light; some redecoration in progress. Pink liquid soap in dispensers. The only air conditioning control was kept at Reception so you had to ask for adjustments if needed! Small room, but perfectly quiet at the back overlooking leafy courtyard. I'd recommend the hotel as although pretty basic it's perfectly clean and cheap for the amazing location. You can walk to the centre in 2 mins and the street is on the Tram route for Place de l'Europe and the stop for the Navette (bus) to and from the airport.

Hotel very central to city centre. Walking distance to train station & most attractions. Room was very basic. Air Con didnt work in our room & the light in the tiolet area didnt work. Staff had very little english,but were friendly. If staying for one night this hotel would do more of a hostel than a hotel tho. Recommended due to its location.

Hotel bien situé en plein centre ville, mais pas pas d'accès en voiture!!! Chambre pas acceuillante, pas propre, pas de rideaux de douche, robinet du lavado cassé, tiroir en option!!!

Een chagrijnige hotelbediende "verwelkomde" ons en wees ons naar de kamer. Toen we de kamer binnenstapten viel onze mond open van verbazing. Gelukkig nog wel schone lakens, maar daar bleef het ook bij. De onderkant van de bedden waren smerig, dekens waar geen paard gebruik van zou maken, muren kaal en afgebladerd. Het toilet had geen bril, de wastafel geen afvoerroester én geen waterdruk, de douche had geen douchehaak. De airco/verwarming blies recht op het bed en was niet uit te zetten. Kortom, ga daar niet heen, tenzij je radeloos op zoek bent naar een overnachtingsplek.

Cet hotel est lamentable. des trous dans les murs de la chambre bouchés au papier toilette, les interrupteurs cassés (sans cache...), pas d'abbatant sur les toilettes, pas un porte serviette, des appliques murales qui ne fonctionnent pas, très bruyant avec des odeurs de nourritures venant des chambres à côté, des chiens dans les chambres qui aboient... bref une catastrophe

Hotel bien situé entre la gare et le place de la comédie mais a éviter: Salle de bains vétuste, pas de lunette sur la cuvette des WC, pas de rideau de douche la salle de bain est inondée, 2 minuscules serviettes. La fenêtre de la chambre était restée grande ouverte à mon arrivée (minuit) il faisait donc froid dans la chambre. Pas d'ascenseur les bagages, doivent être montés par les escaliers. Pas de réception tard le soir et tôt le matin. Pour le même prix, préferrez un autre hotel dans le centre.

Le pire hotel que j'ai vu de ma vie. Un marchand de sommeil. Eau des toilettes marron, fil electriques qui pendent partout, papier peint décolé ...

cher pour ce que c'est. ce n'est pas un bel hotel. probleme d'isolation, d'insonorisation, problème d'arrivée d'eau chaude, peu de chauffage, pas de lampe de chevet, juste une lampe néon pour toute la chambre, les lits sont à roulettes et bougent souvent, je ne conseillerai pour rien au monde cet hotel.

Hôtel à bas prix mais confort très sommaire :chambre mal isolée,bruyante,impossible d'éteindre la clim donc très froid,pas de cuvette sur les toilettes...mais Hôtel très bien situé à côté de la gare et de la Comédie.

Arrivé dans la soirée pour récupérer ma chambre, réceptionniste accueillant comme une porte de prison. On m'annonce une chambre rénovée hors la chambre est "EN RENOVATION" (Placo à moitié posé, chambre à moitié peinte,...). 2 lits simples alors que la réservation stipule et confirme bien 1 lit Double pour 2 personnes. Impossibilité de petit déjeuné pour cause de rénovation. Le bac à douche souillé de cheveux et poils de client précédent, vieilles couvertures miteuses posées en vrac au pieds du lit. On m'annonce qu'il n'y a pas de moyen d'être relogé alors qu'on reloge un client sous mon nez pour les même raisons. Il a fallut que je quitte l'hôtel en prenant le risque de dormir dans ma voiture et de trouver par mes propres moyens une nouvelle chambre qu'il a évidemment fallu que je règle (double frais). En quittant l'hôtel j'ai eu droit à un très joli mot grossier en guise du poli "Au revoir monsieur". A recommander !?! Non, jamais...

Que dire? Une chambre dans un état lamentable: un matelas d'une dizaine de cm, un lit qui grince constamment, des murs épais comme une feuille a cigarett et le meilleur: la salle de bain! Pommeau de douche tellement encrassé que l'eau a du mal à s'écouler, bouton poussoir de la douche entouré d'un tissu pour limiter les fuites, tyauteries à vue, pas d'eau chaude, couvercle absent des toilettes laissant a vue le mécanisme de chasse d'eau (donc pas de bouton pour tirer la chasse d'eau), placos à moitié déchirés près du lavabo et insectes dans la salle de bain. Bref que du bonheur! Je n'avais jamais vu un hôtel dans un tel état de crasse et aussi délabré! Il est inconcevable de loue une chambre dans un tel état!

Situation exceptionnellle .Mais état sommaire des chambres ..les serviettes de toilette sont vraiment petites ..la télé date de fort longtemps

cet hotel ,est un veritable taudis : toilettes sales,traces de salissures sur les portes,fils electriques dénudés,trous sur les portes,pas de serviettes,pas de papier toilette,la télé et la clim ne marchent pas,on ne sait ou poser ses mains tellement c'est dégoutant sans parler du bruit car les chambre ne sont pas insonorisées et sont contigues .A EVITER ABSOLUMENT car véritable arnaque

Hotellet trenger total renovering. Ikke heis, ikke kjøleskap, åpne elektriske installasjoner, dørhåndtaket til badet løst, risikabelt å gå ut og inn av dusjen (for høyt)

L'hôtel est très bien situé ( 5 min de la gare et 3 min de la place de la comédie). L'état de l'hôtel est catastrophique! je ne le conseille à personne!

The hotel is conveniently located near the city's main square and the tram lines. I spent five nights at the hotel. The wireless internet connection worked well in room. The walls were very thin, and all sounds from hallway, other rooms and the street were clearly heard. Suitable for overnight stay if you do not have any expectations and you are not a slight sleeper. The is no reception after 9:30 pm and you have to use door code after that time. The staff is friendly.

Hotel simples e limpo. A cidade é cara e para os padrões da França e o hotel tem uma relação custo beneficio boa. A simpatia dos funcionarios do hotel é bem grande. A localização é ótima.

Prijs/kwaliteit absoluut niet in verhouding. Loshangende schakelaars, tv werkte niet, zeer gammele kast, kapot bureau, slechte bedden. Airco kan alleen aan of uit. Bij aan waai je uit uit je bed. Één kleine handdoek per persoon. Geen ontbijt mogelijk. Kaal/kil gebouw. Personeel wel vriendelijk. Misschien dat het óóit nog iets kan worden? De naam hostel zou beter passen als er dan ook iets aan de prijs gedaan wordt.

DU VOL MANIFESTE par rapport à sa prestation. Se dit 2 étoiles mais il n'en mérite pas un seul ! 1 serviette de bain pour 6 personnes (2 chambres). Pas de lumière dans la salle de douche de la chambre aux 3 lits, manque 1 drap de dessus sur un lit, 1 traversin de 80 cm pour 1 lit de 2 places (pas d'oreiller bien sûr). Lit qui grince dès que l'on bouge, bruyant, etc ................... la liste des mécontentements serait trop longue. Seul point positif : son positionnement; mais dans la même rue à 10 m plus loin il y avait là un VRAI hôtel 2 étoiles ! BREF NE PAS Y ALLER
