Hillside Inn at Killington - كلينجتون

For the price you can't go wrong my only complaint was the pillows even with two it felt as if my head were on the mattress.

The Hotel is in a great location, we checked in @ 6 PM and it seemed like we were bothering the Owner by chekcing in. Not friendly by any means! Room was like a dorm room, is nice to have a refrig and microwave. The shower head was nothing nice to look at. Also the bedspread was old and worn. We took right off the bed. They need to do some updating, the price was right.

I remember when this hotel was a Red Roof Inn, it looks like it was remodeled, Great location for Killington skiers on a budget

Great simple hotel with decent free breakfast. Parking is the only downfall... Get there early

My son thought that the place was great. He went up to ski @ Killington for two nights. Loved the breakfast (waffle machine). Met all of his needs and the location was just what he wanted.

good value if you are on a budget rooms are clean and the breakfast in the morning was a nice touch .

We stayed at the Hillside Inn for three nights in March. Reading some of the past reviews I was nervous about what to expect. But, this was a great motel at a good value for a restful nights stay. It was much better than I expected. Rooms where clean and comfortable. It's not a 5 Starr hotel with all the amenities, I was not looking for this. We needed a place to sleep and shower Hillside Inn is a ideal for just that. The location was great nice and close to the lifts and restaurants. The breakfast and waffles in the morning was a great way to start a day of skiing. I will definitely be staying there on my next ski trip.

The price was right - the location perfect. Anyone with negative remarks is just looking for something to complaint about.

If you need a reasonable place to sleep at a decent price near to the ski hill then this place is fine. If you want any hotel amenities what so ever, look elsewhere (But you will pay bigger $$). Ski - sleep - ski.

Parking was a joke! Went to check out at 7:30 AM and office was closed. The room had many conflicting odors that were difficult to take. Appeared clean.Shower open to sink changing are was good idea, but only a curtain for noise. Lights blinked and TV was fuzzy. For the price it was expected.

simple clean hotel. staff nice and helpful. not enough parking

It's a perfect location but pretty much a dorm room with wall paper rolling up all over the place.

For ski bums looking for a no Frills, reasonably priced hotel, with free breakfast on the Killington access rode, can't beat this deal. Beds comfy, hot water, fridge and microwave. Brought my 2 pre-teen kids, too.

It's a nice place and not too far from Ski Resort.

This is a discount hotel right near the mountain; if you want luxury, this is not the place. If you want an affordable, clean, well staffed hotel right near on Killington road, this is it. In addition, I left me near new RayBan eyeglasses in the room, not realizing there were gone until I'd returned to Boston. The hotel staff promptly found them and mailed them to my office. Great service!

Hotel was close to town and mountain...got back from a long day of skiing and there was no hot water...took several hours to wait for warm enough water to take a shower...

Staff mostly nice. Amenities all you really need. Less than a mile to restaurants and the Killington lodges.

Not bad at all for the price. Entire floor is heated! We were barely in it as we were there to ski. Would definitely stay again.

Right on Killington Road, you get what you pay for, but right there, great deal, for those just looking to ski and have fun, without breaking the bank.

lack of plowing made parking an issue, should hire front end loader to remove snow.

This hotel is actually a motel. Bare essentials maybe a little less. Parking is a battle. The lot fills quick & optional parking is far long cold walk. No elevators, so if on 3rd floor climb is not bad, but lugging gear is. It is located at 1st quarter mile of access road. Nothing special! Was clean. Bath Towels are small. Room cleaning must be requested. No individual heat/hvac controls for room, so management sets the temperature, which was ok, but no place to dry wet ski gloves?? Minimal electrical outlets... For the price or less, I prefer the Killington motel on rt 4 just 2-3 miles away!!

Was not a bad value, free morining breakfast was good touch before sking

Unfriendly front desk staff. Charge extra for each person in room. Had to get my needed towels myself from front desk. Small TV. Very basic furnishings. Need to have four wheel drive to get up access road in winter!

Very clean, appears newly renovated. Appreciated the microwave and refrigerator. We arrived after a day of hitting the slopes. There were a couple of issues 1) Parking was very limited. We had to park up the hill from the hotel, while others had to park at the end of the lane and walk in a foot of snow. 2) Three floors without an elevator, lugging heavy ski gear. Really stinks. 3) The breakfast is very limited. Otherwise, I will stay here again. Good value for the price

Please remember this is an Inn and not a hotel. Keep expectations at minimum. I don't stay at Inns, but to accommodate my friends budgets I bit the bullet and reserved a room for the weekend. Once I arrived to my 2 bed room I noticed the smell of curry and I was thankful I brought my plug in air freshner, which I plugged in right away. I immediately fold down the top comforter and blanket. I noticed a dead fly under the pillow. I then notice a cluster of dead flies fused together on the window side of the bed. I keep hearing a fly buzzing but thought it was the sound of poor electric work. Walk into the changing area near the shower and notice a dead fly on the floor. I couldn't ask to change rooms since I had used all my disinfecting wipes. I recommend always carrying a few to wipe down door handles, toilet seat, remote, etc. I double checked the other bed I was going to be sleeping in and it was clear and free of dead flies. After about 2 hours the room was cold so I went to the thermostat. I called the front desk and let them know I had no way of controlling the thermostat. He stated the heat was on and had someone bring me a space heater. Typical Continental breakfast. Parking lot is very small so be prepared to do a little bit of walking if you're parking up top. If you're looking for a place to sleep this is your spot. If you're looking for the works I suggest renting a condo or townhouse with full amenities. As picky as I am I don't foresee myself going back there.

A very interesting (in a bad way) stay. I was the only person staying there my first night.When I entered the room, the lights had the most horrendous, flickering buzz; all of them. The sheets and blanket had rips and tears in them, there was no thermostat ac/fan/heater for white noise (not really an issue for the only tenant in the building), and only a standing shower. The second night, a total of three rooms rented out and we were packed in right next to each other - 102,103,104. This, combined with the air duct heater and no white noise available, led to a rather noisy night as amorous couple mamboed and TVs raged through the night. Why not at least put one room between, or whole floor, us? They had upwards of 80 available rooms and they put us all right next to each other as close to the office as possible. Sucky. And to top it all off, they don't give any utensils for stirring your coffee after you add sugar!

I have been skiing for 15 years now and have experienced many hotels near resorts. Hillside inn had a great price, is a clean, and is conveniently located. This is not a fancy Hilton! It is the perfect hotel for that budgetary ski trip!

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is just a few items bought from supermarket and kept on the kitchen countertop in its original packing. They could put a little more effort to add some variety and presentation.

not enough parking for the rooms soom people had one room but 2 and 3 cars. We had to park down a road in back and walk in the rain. Not right at all
