We stayed here for Easter Weekend. and I'd say this. If you are simply looking for a no frills place to stay, then this should suit you. Pros: Very polite staff. Plenty of parking. Plenty of things near by. Relatively inexpensive Cons: Room wasn't very clean. Smudges on the walls (like kids with dirty fingers touched it, and it hadn't been cleaned). Toilet bowl was clean, but the screws where the toilet seat was were "yellowish". Beds were not the most comfortable. Door to room wouldn't shut properly and leaked light in from outside. I think this place could be better, but it needs a little more investment in cleaning the rooms.

The position is near the Times Square, very convenient to have a tourist and go shopping. The room is comfortble, but the restroom is too small. And the price is a little high.

Ask for non-smoking room, stuck in smoking room. gross. and the bathroom was not clean there was used soap in the shower.

TV works, free WiFi, Microwave, Fridge, waters hot, beds comfortable everything you need to spend the night somewhere.

My only complaint was that I could hear the TV from the room next door quite loudly, even over the fan on my heating unit.

Great location however the walls were quite thin - we heard a TV on all night quite loud, kids running around. It was a very noisy hotel overall.

Really good price and service in a nice town, There's a really cooj japanese/Chinese restaurant about a mile down the road with a bar - DRINKS AND FOOD ARE Amazing at avery good price

For the price the room was everything that could be expected, it was clean, orderly, had a flat screen TV, and good internet. If your looking to have a 500 dollar a night experience spend 500, if your looking for a place to grab a shower, watch come tv and fall asleep in, for less then most in the area, then you should be fine with this location.

Stayed here New Year Eve, night. Pretty nice rooms, clean and newly remodeled. Only major issues: NO MICROWAVE or Fridge in the rooms and no Ice ending machines on the property. Would stay again, for sure!

My wife decided on Christmas Eve that she wanted to surprise her Grandparents with a visit. We made our reservation on Christmas Day. I have to admit that we chose the Days Inn because of price, but I put my stay up against the best motels I have stayed in. The room was exceptionally clean, the staff was extraordinary, and the location perfect for our needs. Definitely a place I would stay at again and would recommend to others.

We were very happy with the size of our room and the cleanliness. The only thing we were unhappy about was the thickness between rooms. We could hear our neighbor as he spoke on his cell phone at 11 PM.

This is a renovated old-style hotel. This has both pros and cons. The room was very big, especially compared with a lot of newer hotels, and clean for the most part. It was smaller hotel, with an exterior entrance, and set back from the road, so it was fairly quiet. And, the hotel staff is very attentive. My fire alarm had a dying battery when I checked in, and they solved it within five minutes of my call. BUT - getting to the hotel from I-84 is a little confusing. It's a couple of miles from the exit, and I felt like I wandered around in the dark (this would have been true of any hotel on that strip). The hotel has a big sign, but the sign isn't close to the parking lot entrance, and the parking lot entrances aren't very well lit, making them hard to find. Finally, there was a strange smell in my room, which never quite went away. Overall, it was a nice and economical (for the area) place to stay, once I got there.

The ceramic tiles in the bathroom and in front of the sink are slippery.

The room was comfortable and looked as off the furniture and carpet were relatively new. They gave me a handicapped access room, so the bathroom was over sized. There was a small fridge and microwave in the room, and, while I didn't use the microwave, I did make use of the fridge for drinks. This is an oldstyle motel, where all the rooms are accessable from the outside, no internal hallways. I was able to park right outside my room, which made it easy to get luggage. I had no problems.

Clean and good breakfast and good price

The room was very clean and comfortable.

Very convenient location next to highway and a Target store for personal needs. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Most likely won't have to stay in the area again, but I'd certainly recommend the place if you're on a budget. Can't beat it for the convenience.

Our room was very spacious, probably built to accommodate two double beds. With just one bed, there was plenty of room for table and chairs. Very clean. As others have mentioned, the continental breakfast was pretty basic: coffee, cold cereal, bagels, sweet rolls and orange juice.

I stayed at the Days Inn Bethel, CT for 3 nights to attend a wedding. The room was comfortable, the price was the lowest in town and the continental breakfast was good. The only negative comment I have is that the bathroom was not very clean, especially the toilet.

Clean room, quiet, east access.

The young man at the desk was excellent. he took very good care of us. I can't say the same for the woman who was there. She was cold and aloof and could use some customer service classes. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Had a nice stay here. Room to park my big truck. A nice place to eat down the street. A little bakery accross the street. The mourning breakfast is just so-so. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

In good area~~ Rates lil high for condition of site. Hard to find Ice,etc~ Room had strange SMELL!! Was there 06-02-----06-11 2 rooms Thank U J.D.Fitzhugh and Mother

For the money I paid, it was a good stay. it is nearby to restaurants and stores like walmart, target etc. it also has good eateries nearby. The hotel is great only for sleeping... Staff was extremely good.. although the stay wasn't as pleasing as my past stay. shower head was broken, no microwave and fridge in room, had to change the room.. other room had refrigerator but no microwave, and although the room is supposed to be non-smoking, the blanket had some holes in it... cleanliness of room was good but it can be better.. i would only stay to get some sleep...

The hotel was rather outdated but was clean and affordable. I was there only for work and needed a place close to the job. It was fine for that, but i woul not stay there if I were on a vacation. The staff was polite, and again it was clean. It did the job.

It would be nice if they can accept credit card over the phone, I asked them to extend my stay for one hour and he refused unless I come personally and pay 10$ in the office which is kind of inconvenient, although I give him the credit of allowing me to stay for 2 hours instead of one. the other thing is that the front desk guy wasn't that welcoming, you feel that he was forced to do this job

This hotel was so nice and clean. Nice stay and would highly recommend.

This Hotel is very well maintained, and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is lousy, but what do you expect? Recommended!

I took on the responsability in booking 3 rooms. I had to keep price and quality in mind. Every one was very happy with both. I will book with them again.

Traveled from California with 3 kids on a budget. The room had everything for our needs. The weather was very cold yet the room was well insulated and had very hot water. The double queens were soft and a delight when other hotels only offered double beds at the same price or more. Great pizza at a good price was across the street. A Target, restaurants and good gas prices also within close proximity. Easy freeway access.

I was looking for a hotel that was easy access to I-84, clean and basic. This was ideal. We arrived at midnight and founr our room was spotlessly clean. I didnt consider the continental breakfast worth eating and with two growing sons it wouldn't have sufficed, but the diner right next door was super convenient. My husband forget his coat when we left the next day, and when we called they said they were waiting for his call and were very helpful. I recommend to anyone seeking clean and no frills in this area.

The room was nice and clean, however, I was disappointed to find out that they removed the refrigerators and microwaves. We always stay at this hotel when we visit CT and have had better service in the past. I know we stayed over a holiday weekend (Christmas) and probably could not expect someone to be available in the office 24hrs a day, but we had to check out early on Sunday due to the pending storm. We dropped off the key in the overnight drop box and for some reason they still had us checking out on Monday the 27th and would not give us a refund. We appreciate hotels.com working with us and refunding out money for the one night due to the weather. Thank you hotels.com

A bakery, a diner, and a restaurant were within walking distance, and restaurants and a grocery a short drive away. It had easy access to the highway, but was screened from it by trees, so it was never noisy. The room was kept very clean throughout my stay, but was smaller than I had hoped. Wireless access was available, as was basic cable television and three or four premium movie channels.

This hotel met my expectations for a Days Inn. Sure it isn't 5-star, but it was clean, well maintained, convienently located, and most importantly quiet. Even though the hotel is located quite close to I-84, the room was dark and quiet all night long. The staff was friendly and was able to satisfy my request to change rooms at the last minute.

I was very disappointed in my stay at the Days Inn in Bethel, CT. The towels were very old, small, and rough to the touch. I went home just to get usable towels. The free morning breakfast was not up to standards. The coffee was burnt each morning. One morning they just said they ran out of food at least an hour before breakfast was over and they did nothing to resolve this matter after it was brought up. There was no ability to order movies on tv. Overall, the worst hotel I've stayed in and I do a lot of traveling.
