The staff was very accommodating and helpful, not to mention friendly! The location was ideal, as it was very close to the Pisa tower and the Cathedral. The room was clean and beautifully decorated.

If your are driving yourself, I would not recommend this hotel. Finding it then getting to it through Pisas one way streets was a nightmare. Parking is pure luck somewhere on the streets. Good Luck. While the staff was nice and accomodating, the hotel needs some updating to be worth recommending.

Excellent location. Staff wonderfully nice and helpful. Air conditioning in room mediocre, room otherwise quite comfortable. Restaurant decent, but not great. Friendly service makes up for a lot, though. We were thoroughly jet-lagged, so just looking for an easy meal. No parking on site, but manageable. Would definitely go back, but preferably not in hot weather.

The staff were extremely helpful. Very enjoyable stay. The room was a bit dated but comfortable.

The Relais is very well located, its just a 5min walk to get to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, or Piazza Garibaldi and quite a lot of very good restaurants and Gelato cafes. The breakfast served in the mornings is good and there is plenty to eat. Rooms are small, but comfortable - efficient cooling system in place. The opening hours of the reception is between 14.00-21.00, which is slightly inconvenient. To access the wifi , a username and code must be collected from the reception which is valid for 24hours only. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it.

this hotel is very central only about 3 mins walk to tower of pisa its a nice hotel but the reception area closes at 9.00 pm so if your late arriving you need to check in at the sister hotel

We stayed at Relais Dei Fiori for 2 nights - on the first night of our holiday and the last night of our holiday (due to flying into Pisa and cycling around different areas ofTuscany) On the first night we were welcomed by a lovely man named Lorenzo who recommended some good quality local restaurants nearby and gave us a map for Pisa. Previous to the holiday he also kindly agreed for us to keep our bike luggage at the hotel for 6 days until our return. This was very helpful to us. The room was quite small but comfortable. The 2nd time (our last night in Italy) we were greeted by a lady not as friendly and accommodating as Lorenzo. We were told our bikes were not allowed in the hotel, which would prove difficult if we were going to be dismantling them ready for the flight home. In the end, the lady finally agreed. The room was fairly decent, but the air con wasn't working efficiently and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor when you used it. I also wouldn't recommend the food, we didn't try it, but it did not look appealing and breakfast wasn't that good! Overall, Lorenzo is the best thing going for that hotel, a lovely, helpful man.

Great little hotel with most of the amenities you need, free Wi-Fi was a plus point. Clean, great decor, friendly staff and 5 minutes walk to the tower of Pisa which is what we are all there to see. One small let down is that the room is small but a very minor let down. Would definitely go back.

The service from the receptionist was fantastic - recommended an excellent restaurant, provided an early breakfast and all with great charm.

My wife and I stayed one night at this small hotel that is just a five-minute walk from the Campo dei Miracoli. We were met by a very pleasant and helpful woman in the small reception area who watched our luggage while we enjoyed the buffet lunch at the hotel restaurant and who arranged for a taxi at 5:30 am for us to get to the airport. The hotel reception desk is not staffed overnight, so, when we left the next morning, we were delighted that the taxi pulled up on time just as she had promised. We had a great dinner at the restaurant just down the street at the small corner plaza. Overall, a great time in Piza.

Arrived and room was ready. Only TV had no cables and after unpacking we had to repack to change rooms. This had to be done quickly because hotel is only open from 2:00pm-9:00pm. Wi-fi worked fine but you have to get a new password everyday. Which means you have to see someone at the desk between 2:00 and 9:00. Your day has to revolve around getting back to the desk. There is no bar and no restaurant at this location. Breakfast is very basic. You get 1 cup of coffee with your breakfast. If you want another one it costs money. They do not have any money at this location and will not take any money. Front desk was helpful with us locating a laundry. Our tub leaked all over the floor each time we used it. I'm sure they knew this was a problem due to the mold that is around the tub that they had caulked over numerous times. Although the location was great I would not stay here again.

We stayed a single night en-route to Florence and the Relais dei Fiori was perfect. We arrived on the BA flight from LHR and took the LAM Rossa bus from the airport to the cathedral and tower. The bus costs 1.10 each, valid for up to 70 minutes from validation, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. The ticket machine is by the bus stop, immediately outside the terminal building. It speaks English but doesn’t give change. You can however specify how many tickets you want and pay for them en-block. You cannot miss the stop at the tower – just look out for the crowds selling watches and sunglasses ;-) From the bus stop to the hotel is about a 15 minute walk passing the three main sights that Pisa has to offer on the way. Google a street map before you go as the route is not too obvious but it is a very easy walk once you have negotiated the crowds in the square. The RdeF is at the northern end of one of Pisa’s main streets. If you arrive a little early, as we did, there are chairs and tables outside to ease your wait until reception opens promptly at 14:00. The hotel and staff are delightful. The room was a little ‘cosy’ but for one night it was perfect. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked and internet access (cable or WiFi) was free - as were the two bottles of mineral water in the minibar. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of breads, meats, cheeses, preserves, yogurts, cereals, pastries . . . and excellent coffee. There is no check-out. Just leave your room key in the room and let yourself out before 10:00. The walk to the central railway station takes about 20 minutes – out of the front door, turn right and walk, cross the Arno and a roundabout and there is the station for the train to Florence. The trains depart about every 30 minutes and take about 60 minutes to reach Florence SMN station. The ticket costs about 5.80 from either the machine (English speaking, no change) or the kiosk. Relais dei Fiori is a modest sister hotel to the only 5-star hotel in Pisa: rooms are small but quite comfortable; the decor is slightly eccentric; and the location is very noisy in the way that only Italian hotels seems to be, but the windows had good sound proofing. It only has reception from 2:00-9:00 p.m., so when we arrived in Pisa in the morning we left our baggage with the sister hotel (5 minute walk). The problem was that when we went to our hotel at 2;50 that afternoon, the room was just being cleaned. When it was finished the beds had no coverlets (just sheets), there were insufficient towels, and the fridge lacked the water we had been promised. We asked for a taxi to be called for an early flight the next morning, which didn't show; when we walked around to the sister hotel to get them to call us a taxi, no one was there in reception or indeed anywhere on the ground floor of the 5-star hotel. After 5-10 minutes the receptionist came running down the street, insisting that he had called us a taxi and if we had just waited it would have been there. I've spent enough time in Italy not to trust that claim.

excellent location for seeing the sights (tower etc.) and shopping close to pedestrian only area breakfast choice could be improved, get there early to have a piece of cheese and ham

Close to everything. Newly and beautifully redecorated. Very pleasing decor. Clean as a whistle and everything worked. Desk staff terrific and breakfast really good. I don't like dry cereal w/o milk or cream and they had it. Would return in a heart beat.

Excellent Location....with people who try their very Best to Help you. The Breakfasts were Plentiful and good variety plus...great friendly service. We enjoyed our little room with all the comfort's. Pisa is a Launching pad for ALL of Tuscany. Public transportation, be it Taxi, Bus, and espicially relaxing on the Train, taking us through the country side, are Fantastic.

Like a motel 6 in italy....basic....cheap.....uncomfortable bed...tiny....but clean Amazing restaruant down street and Miami bar/cafe was super fun to people watch Really close to tower

This hotel was easily within ten minutes walk to the tower, to very good restaurants and to the Universities. Room is very small but exactly what they say it is. Their breakfast of juice, rolls and such is very good and was a great experience for us.

Hotel is very close to the LTOP and other sights. Our room was really cute and had a great bathroom with shower. You have to plan ahead to be there at a normal check-in time or you will run into a slight hassle, but not bad. We got there at 11:00 am and had to call over to the bigger sister hotel, they called a housekeeper, and she came and checked us in. Not a biggee. Staff later recommended a really good restaurant close by for a late dinner. Very happy.

Very Pleasant Stay at this hotel in Pisa. Very central to the Main and must admit Only attraction....The Leaning Tower. All Local Restaurants and Bars reasonably priced. I would advise on taking a taxi to find as its on a quiet street.

Reception is only open between 14.00 and 21.00 hours so arriving outstide these hours is slightly complicated. I contacted the hotel in advance so knew to go to the sister hotel. Martina who works on Reception was very helpful but we found the lack of Reception in Relais Dei Fiori in the morning and evening to be a disadvantage. Breakfast was served between 7.30 - 9.30 which we found to be a little early, this could be extended to at least 10.00/10.30. I might add the breakfast was very poor and the bread was actually stale on our last day. Otherwise when the staff were there they were informative and friendly and the hotel room was small but nice. The location is excellent, close to the Leaning Tower etc and shops/restaurants. I would stay here again but would recommend they install a proper reception and improve the breakfast.

We stumbled upon this gem while staying in Pisa overnight. Service was great and the location could not be better -- few minute walk from the leaning tower! Morning breakfast included. However, the rooms are very small, so we had to climb over our bed to get to the bathroom (not ideal for two tall people). However, perfect for one or two night stay! I'd recommend!

The hotel and room were comfortable, clean and well-maintained. We got the room a little late (they only give it to you after 2pm), and although it was clean and nice, it was small and tight even though they upgraded us (which was nice of them). Bathroom was nicely done. Room was quiet. Breakfast was good. Only major gripe is lack of staff at hotel at night. It is difficult to get in touch with main hotel (the Orologio) after hours. Tried calling them 6-7 times for wake-up call, but could never get through, and was too tired to walk over to the Orologio just to get them to give me a wake-up call the next morning. So, don't expect to get service late. The location is great. It is within walking distance to the tower. It is also a short walk to restaurants and shopping areas. One thing I would recommend is being ready and outside with your bags when you call for a cab to the airport or station. The meter is going to be ticking the moment the cab is called and the drivers will use every trick in the book to pad up the numbers.

The Relais Dei Fiori is in an excellent location just minutes away from the leaning tower and baptistry. The hotel rooms were very homey and extremely clean. The marble bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast consisted of fresh croissants and a variety of pastries, cereal, fruit, juice, meat and cheeses. The cappucino was delicious. The only drawback was the air conditioning. They should not even advertise that they have air conditioning because it simply doesn't work. If I were to return to Pisa I would stay there again because it was an excellent value for the price and the location was unbeatable. However, I would think twice before visiting during the peak summer months. It is hot and humid and air conditioning is somewhat of a necessity if you are accustomed to it.

Thoroughly recommended in every way - close to the Campo di Miracoli, easy to reach by taxi from airport or station, nice local restaurants, polite and helpful staff. Only negative aspects: room is a little crowded (cosy), and reception is only open 2-9pm. Otherwise a lovely little place, making its connection with the 5 star Orologio hotel understandable. Above all, after some ambiguous experiences in Florence with 37 degree centigrade heat that apparently excused sweaty nights and the necessity for repeated cold showers, having similar temperatures but effective (and quiet!) air conditioning was wonderful. The leaning tower etc. is a pleasant five minute walk away; the local restaurant Toscana worth getting to early, good value.

We got to this hotel and on a notice found out that check in closes at 9pm it said go to relais hotel and a phone number. We had to use intercom to speak to sister hotel which we could hardly hear. No directions were printed so we had to ask passers by. Eventually we found the hotel to check in, got our room key and walked back. It wasn't too far but without a map isn't easy to find. We only had a small amount of luggage thankfully. The hotel itself is in a good location, ideal for the leaning tower. The room is adequate, no clock in room, and check out was early, but the room was ok for couple of night stay. Nothing exceptional but room was comfortable enough. Unless it was very cheap, I would not stay again.

What a little gem. A small hotel, just a couple of hundred yards from some nice bars and restaurants. Only 5-10 minutes walk to the Leaning Tower. The room was nice and more than we had imagined for the price.

The staff was very friendly. They are only available certain times of the day however. But they were able to call us a taxi the day before we were leaving and it arrived exactly on time the next morning. The water from the shower leaked out of the shower glass door, however, it was the only hotel in Italy we stayed at where the shower was comfortable to use - plenty of room! The beds were much more comfortable than any other hotel in Italy also. Overall a good quality stay.

Very good location in regards to the attractions and restaurants. Nice breakfast service in the morning. Our room had a couple of maintenance problems but they were nice in trying to fix it.

We stayed here for one night, after taking the train from Florence and before flying back to Brussels for the rest of our vacation. We took a cab from the train station for less than 10€ and the driver knew exactly where it was without having to give much information. He said it is a very nice, and popular, hotel. And he was right. The service at the reception when we checked in was very nice. There was no internet available at this hotel, but we didn't have any in Florence either, so at this point it was not a big deal. We did have to ask for a map, whereas other hotels in Italy just automatically gave us one. The map we got was also just a photocopy in black and white, and it was sometimes very hard to read. However, Pisa is a really small city and not that hard to navigate, so this was only a minor inconvenience. The rooms are VERY small, even for European standards - there was barely enough room to walk between the wall and the bed to get to the bathroom. But the rooms are decorated very nicely and was by far the most "romantic" looking out of all of the hotels we stayed in during our travels in Italy. The a/c didn't seem to work until later on in the evening, I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong or if they just don't allow it to turn on until it starts cooling down in the evening like many other hotels do. It wasn't that hot while we were there, so no big deal, but like I have read on other reviews about Pisa, this city has quite a mosquito problem, so you won't want to leave your windows open to keep your room cool. Instead, just wait for the a/c to come on later. The breakfast is served in a restaurant downstairs and it was very nice, with excellent service. This is also where you have to leave your key when you check out since the reception is only staffed between the hours of 12pm-8pm. So keep that in mind if you're arriving late, since you'll have to go to a different location to check in. We didn't have a problem with this because we arrived earl

Room was very nicely decorated and clean, but was small. it a good hotel for the price. Unfortunately there is not much to do in pisa, but if you want a quiet holiday and a nice hotel it was very nice

No Hotel Relais dei Fiori, situado na Via Carducci Giousue, 3537, chegamos na hora programada. Batemos na porta e apertamos a campainha e ouvimos uma voz gravada pedindo irmos para outro local à 300 metros de distância, no Hotel Relais dei Orologio. Tinha um mapa afixado, que fotografamos, e seguimos para o outro endereço. Fomos muito bem atendidos e recebemos a explicação de que nossa hospedagem era no endereço anterior, mas o check-in e check-out no Relais dei Orologio. Depois, com calma, observamos que na reserva do hoteis.com já havia esta informação, e que nós não prestamos atenção. O hotel é bucólico, todo desenhado e os dois funcionários muito simpáticos. O apartamento é pequeno, mas muito aconchegante. Está bem perto da Torre de Pisa (300-400 metros)e no centro da cidade. Deu para ir a pé do hotel para a estação de trem. Recomendamos o hotel.

hotel d'aspect chaleureux, confirmé par une décoration intérieure soignée, ainsi que celle de la chambre, un peu petite pour un séjour supérieur à une nuit,Très jolie petite chambre, avec salle de bain entièrement en marbre. mauvaise surprise à l'arrivée car il faut aller faire les papiers dans un autre hotel dont le chemin d'accès est mal indiqué et en sus cette information est mal placée dans un petit coin de la vitrine, après avoir sonné plusieurs fois sans réponse, nous avons découvert l'information par hasard .Lorsque l'on arrive le soir fatigué, ce n'est pas du plus commode, et il semble que cela soit récurent d'après des commentaires précédents .Attention si vous prenez un vol très tôt, le petit déjeuner n'est normalement pas servi avant 7h30,mais le personnel très sympathique nous a tout de même préparé un café avec petits pains dés 7h00

Helt ok hotell. Systerhotell till ett annat större och lyxigare - lite enklare, ingen nattreception, men vänlig service med gratis snacks-buffét och "champagne" tidigt på kvällen. Okej frukost. Fräscht och sköna sängar. Lugnt område. Om man vill fråga något får man ta kontakt med personalen på det större hotellet som är mycket hjälpsamma och vänliga. Bra hotell för par, kompisar eller mor/dotter (far/son).

Cuando llegamos, como la recepcion del hotel estaba cerrada( eran las 12 de la noche ) , nos atendió un chico en la calle, cubrio nuestros datos encima de una mesa de la terraza del hotel, etc. Las habitaciones son realmente pequeñas y pésimamente decoradas, en fin, para no volver ni recomendar a nadie

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sehr liebevoll und gemütlich. Frühstück halt typisch italienisch ;-) Lage Top direkt an der Fussgängerzone und nur paar Minuten von schiefen Turm entfernt.
