JARED COFFIN HOUSE - نانتكت

For anyone wanting to enjoy the heart of Nantucket this is the perfect location. The staff could not have been nicer. Only complaint would be that for the cost of room at JCH igt seems they might have fresh muffins or such from the bakery that is within sight of the front door.

A visit to Nantucket can be about it's history. This house sets you in the mood. The staff were friendly and knowlegeable. The rooms are small, it's an 1845 house after all but quite adequate. You are a three minute walk to the ferry, and within easy walking of all the shops etc. There was also free parking, one of the few hotels in town to have this.

Charming New England hotel in a great location--easy to walk all around town, Great bookstore to browse in next door and a fun old Whaling pub just down the street. Highly recommend this hotel. Close to the Whaling museum. Easy access to the Ferry dock.

Great location, good value with the free breakfast. Clean room.

My room was very very small but it was comfortable, clean and had all the same amenities as a larger room. If you are traveling with more than one person be sure to check which room you are getting and how large it is. The location was absolutely perfect-walking distance from the ferry and right in the thick of things! Also, the staff were so wonderful, they were very helpful with restaurant recommendations, travel suggestions and even provided me with a cold bottled water and umbrella every time I ventured out.

Look no further - staff is above and beyond, location bang in the centre (but off the main "drag"). Not the least expensive but worth every cent. Beautiful building - good continental breakfast in the drawing room.

The room was just what I needed. Small single. Clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Great location- downtown, walk to ferry

I had a great time at the Jared Coffin House. the hosts and front desk people were very helpful and nice. The hotel is beautiful, and the location is great, very close the hy-line ferry wharf. only problem I had was that the bed was a little to loud, if you know what i'm saying. We probably made some people blush downstairs.

What an absolutely outstanding inn. All of the staff went out of their way to make certain that our stay was perfect. We cannot thank them enough and hated to leave. Did I mention that the beds were incredibly comfortable?!!!

This historic inn was a treat to be able to stay at for such a great price. Nantucket is pretty exclusive, NYC rates basically for lodging. So finding an off season rate was great. The room was nice and the staff was very pleasant. I spent my Easter weekend here as a last minute getaway and enjoyed the island community for their Easter celebrations. Much of where you need to go is within walking distance. Gail's tours gives a nice tour of the island if you want to go on a nice ride.

I was there at the end of the season - so the rate was ultra-cheap. The room was only a single and the walls a little thin, but the location is great, the service lovely and I'd definitely stay there again.

The restaurants at the Jared Coffin have definitely gone downhill in the past few years. There used to be a wonderful pub in the basement and that closed in 2005. I was looking forward to a nice seafood salad on the patio but the patio was not open and was under repair and they no longer serve that salad. Instead there is one restaurant and that is Chinese. I don't know many people who go to Nantucket for Chinese food! Also the restaurant is totally void of any atmosphere. I strongly advise people not to eat there since there are so many other wonderful restaurants.

Great in town location. Convenient, clean and friendly.

とても便利な場所にあって、部屋も清潔できれいなのだけれど、メインの美しいビルは、夏しかオープンしない。それで冬は、隣の事務所兼ホテルに泊まることになっている。事務所のオフィスアワーは、夜７時までで、そのあとは誰もいない。機械が壊れたり、寒いという苦情を言いたくても、誰もいないので、来てもらうのにも電話をかけて、呼ばないといけない。それで日本人には、少し面倒だと思われる。

Très bel hotel très central. Il reflete l'atmosphère de Nantucket au XIX°S. De grands salons avec très beaux meubles. Les chambres quoique petites sont bien agencées. Mention spéciale pour l'accueil fait par Rachel qui fait son possible pour vous renseigner et faire de votre séjour un moment inoubliable
