Only gave a 4 for condition/maintenance/cleanliness of the room as there was a drains smell emanating from the bathroom most of the time we were there. Also room was too hot and setting the aircon to very low didn't help. But overall we really enjoyed our stay. 30th floor bar has sensational views and Harry the concierge deserves a special mention.

From the moment we arrived in the hotel to the moment we left everything was just perfect. We were swiftly greeted by a member of staff who took our bags as we checked in. We got to our room on the 26th floor and as soon as we opened the door we were welcomed with amazing views across the harbour. The room was incredible! We have never stayed in such a prestigious looking room before - it made us feel like royalty! The room was spotless just like the rest of the hotel - We could not fault anything. The coffee machine and kettle was a lovely touch which made getting up in the mornings even easier. We didn't have the breakfast included in our stay and the cost of the breakfast was a little steep however we actually got a whole weeks worth of breakfast for what one sitting would have cost just by going next door to the Stockmann superstore which has an amazing range to choose from. (I would recommend getting one of the cakes for an evening treat - delicious) In terms of the location it was only a 10-15 min walk from the old town which was actually quite nice as it gets you up and out and a bit of (very) fresh air! You also pass one of the big shopping malls on the way so it was perfect for us really. All in all a fabulous stay, cannot fault anything. We would definitely recommend this hotel and cant wait to visit again!

Overall we had a wonderful stay at this hotel and we were treated with efficiency, courtesy and friendliness. The hotel was conveniently located to the Old Town and shopping areas. If there was one flaw, it was that the lobby and restaurant services were inconsistent. We ate at the restaurants several times and found that the service was excellent one evening and disorganized and slow another. However, we would stay at this hotel again and recommend it highly.

This hotel is superb! the rooms are super contemporary and comfortable with every amenity. Large shower and heated floors in the bathrooms.

The Swissotel Tallinn is a wonderful hotel with excellent customer service. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

This was one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in. The quality of the executive room, faciities, comfort and view was outstanding. Service was second to none. Location, while not Old Town Centre was a short 7 min walk to gate of Old Town. Will be back soon.

Great hotel in a great city. We enjoyed the chance to explore, eat well, shop and were thankful of the services offered by the hotel staff. They helped arrange day trips to Helsinki and Riga and overall made sure our stay in Tallinn was a memorable experience.

Excellent service. The restaurants are world class. The view, food and service at the Horisont restaurat are just fantastic. A must go! The hotel has some of the best views in Tallinn and the rooms are very confortable. I highly recommend it.

About a 15 to 20 min. Walk to the Historical Tallinn. Other than that, the Hotel is an excellent choice. I would book again on next stay. Great security, safe, ex. Service and the food in the Cafe on the 8th floor is excellent. I should know, because I had dinner and lunch there 4 times with different entries. Also, there is a very reasonable laundry service right behind the " Swiss" on an off street. Use it if you need laundry service ! I had an excellent 4 days at the " Swiss" !

Great hotel. Very modern. Room and bathroom were of high standard. Upgraded room at reception when we arrived and asked for view towards the old town. Bar on 30th floor was great. Not overly expensive and fab views. Only 15 mins walk into the old town. Would go back again and have recommended to friends.

Room is fantastic. A bit far from old town but otherwise excellent hotel.

The service is perfect, the view from the window is noexplainable- old town, modern town, Baltic Sea. Breakfast is very delicious.Spa area is good. The size of a room is huge, the bed is very huge))), large bathtube, large bathroom. Coffe machine is in the room with cool coffee!!! I recommend this hotel everybody! and me also will come to this hotel again!!!

Friendly staff, good location, very nice pool area. Room was dirty and worn.

Again, a positive experience from arrival to departure. Attentative personnel, excellent service, clean and inviting rooms. Personal attention to details and a yes-attitude. The best business hotel in Tallinn, without a doubt.

First class hotel accomodation close to the financial district and in walking distance of the Old Town. Can't really find a good reason to stay another place when in Tallinn!

Excellent, very friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful room, excellent breakfast and spa!! Not the prettiest neighborhood, but very close!

Very nice hotel with great views. I have stayed there several times. But what's wrong with the shower that's in every room? It is impossibly difficult to get started so that the water coming from shower head.The shower always end with the shower head goes off and flush the cold water over you.

First class in every way. Nice staff gave good recommendations for restaurants and spa's. Big rooms, with great view. Nice sauna area and gym lessons for sport people.

Expectations were high after having read all other reviews. Our two night stay was amazing and the reception staff took very good care of us. We complained about the layout of our room and without a blink they gave us a fantastic corner room with a view over the harbor. The tasting menu at Horisont restaurant was top notch and worth every penny. The serving staff were felt genuinly friendly and treated us very nice. The Spa treatments are recommended and if its fully booked, just enjoy the sauna with the city view. All in all, a true five star experience!

I would really like to recommend this hotel, particularly if you want to exercise, swim and get massage of different forms. The breakfast is astounding. So is the lunch. It takes 15 minutes by taxi to and from the airport. Nice and well behaved personnel. Super service.

Swissôtel providfes very good quality and service in this modern and clean hotel in Tallinn. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and spa/gym area is also nice. I was very happy for my stay and wll go again.

Nice and modern hotel. Had trouble with sigarette smoke entering room first night, so I had to change rooms. Wash basin in new room didn't drain properly, but hotel management tried to fix it and sent courtesy fruit basket. Nice move! Had a hard time sleeping, as the wooden floor makes sound from rooms above, below and adjacent wake you up. People are up at all times in Tallin :) Apart from that, a great place to stay.

Arriving from the airport (10 minutes by yellow minibus 15euro for 8), into a light airy reception, first impressions were encouraging.My party of 26 were booked into their rooms with amazing speed and efficiency. The rooms were stunning. Views, cleanliness, bed size and comfort, facilities, all excellent. Everyone was in agreement, a perfect 5* hotel for the price. Horisont bar must be visited. Views spectecular, staff polite and helpful. Breakfast and meals a bit on the steep side. Try the old town, more character better prices.

I spent three nights at this hotel with my girlfriend in Sept 2011 and it is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was modern, clean and beautifully fitted out. The staff were superb - friendly, helpful and courteous. We tried the food in the restaurant on level 8 and from the deli in the lobby and both, although reasonably costly, was excellent. I stayed on my birthday and came back from a day sightseeing to find a card and box of chocolates waiting for me. We were given a choice of how high and which side of the building our room was, and the views - we stayed on the 25th floor - were sensational. We thought we'd hit a problem when a taxi we ordered to take us to the airport when we checked out didn't show. We had booked it through the hotel's concierge service and after a quick phone call, despite a busy front desk, one of the staff ferried us up to the airport in a company car without complaint and on the house. I don't think the taxi hitch was even their fault as there was a marathon on in the centre of the city causing road closures. Highly recommended.

All around a super/ excellent Hotel...... The value thru Hotels.com is superb...we are very pleased with this Website ,the confirmation E-mail and the follow up.

It's a nice hotel, close to Old Town (only 5 minutes by walk). I'm only disliked about Front Office because I think that should be more Customer Oriented considering the price/room. I find incredible to ask 10 euro daily for parking!
