The service is perfect, the view from the window is noexplainable- old town, modern town, Baltic Sea. Breakfast is very delicious.Spa area is good. The size of a room is huge, the bed is very huge))), large bathtube, large bathroom. Coffe machine is in the room with cool coffee!!! I recommend this hotel everybody! and me also will come to this hotel again!!!

Excellent stay again at the hotel: service, facilities etc. excellent. We also recommend the Sunday brunch: very pleasant and delicious!

Again, a positive experience from arrival to departure. Attentative personnel, excellent service, clean and inviting rooms. Personal attention to details and a yes-attitude. The best business hotel in Tallinn, without a doubt.

First class hotel accomodation close to the financial district and in walking distance of the Old Town. Can't really find a good reason to stay another place when in Tallinn!

Very nice hotel with great views. I have stayed there several times. But what's wrong with the shower that's in every room? It is impossibly difficult to get started so that the water coming from shower head.The shower always end with the shower head goes off and flush the cold water over you.

First class in every way. Nice staff gave good recommendations for restaurants and spa's. Big rooms, with great view. Nice sauna area and gym lessons for sport people.

Expectations were high after having read all other reviews. Our two night stay was amazing and the reception staff took very good care of us. We complained about the layout of our room and without a blink they gave us a fantastic corner room with a view over the harbor. The tasting menu at Horisont restaurant was top notch and worth every penny. The serving staff were felt genuinly friendly and treated us very nice. The Spa treatments are recommended and if its fully booked, just enjoy the sauna with the city view. All in all, a true five star experience!

I would really like to recommend this hotel, particularly if you want to exercise, swim and get massage of different forms. The breakfast is astounding. So is the lunch. It takes 15 minutes by taxi to and from the airport. Nice and well behaved personnel. Super service.

Swissôtel providfes very good quality and service in this modern and clean hotel in Tallinn. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and spa/gym area is also nice. I was very happy for my stay and wll go again.

Nice and modern hotel. Had trouble with sigarette smoke entering room first night, so I had to change rooms. Wash basin in new room didn't drain properly, but hotel management tried to fix it and sent courtesy fruit basket. Nice move! Had a hard time sleeping, as the wooden floor makes sound from rooms above, below and adjacent wake you up. People are up at all times in Tallin :) Apart from that, a great place to stay.

Simply the best hotel in Tallinn. Nice little spa and executive lounge.

Arriving from the airport (10 minutes by yellow minibus 15euro for 8), into a light airy reception, first impressions were encouraging.My party of 26 were booked into their rooms with amazing speed and efficiency. The rooms were stunning. Views, cleanliness, bed size and comfort, facilities, all excellent. Everyone was in agreement, a perfect 5* hotel for the price. Horisont bar must be visited. Views spectecular, staff polite and helpful. Breakfast and meals a bit on the steep side. Try the old town, more character better prices.

I spent three nights at this hotel with my girlfriend in Sept 2011 and it is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was modern, clean and beautifully fitted out. The staff were superb - friendly, helpful and courteous. We tried the food in the restaurant on level 8 and from the deli in the lobby and both, although reasonably costly, was excellent. I stayed on my birthday and came back from a day sightseeing to find a card and box of chocolates waiting for me. We were given a choice of how high and which side of the building our room was, and the views - we stayed on the 25th floor - were sensational. We thought we'd hit a problem when a taxi we ordered to take us to the airport when we checked out didn't show. We had booked it through the hotel's concierge service and after a quick phone call, despite a busy front desk, one of the staff ferried us up to the airport in a company car without complaint and on the house. I don't think the taxi hitch was even their fault as there was a marathon on in the centre of the city causing road closures. Highly recommended.

All around a super/ excellent Hotel...... The value thru Hotels.com is superb...we are very pleased with this Website ,the confirmation E-mail and the follow up.

It's a nice hotel, close to Old Town (only 5 minutes by walk). I'm only disliked about Front Office because I think that should be more Customer Oriented considering the price/room. I find incredible to ask 10 euro daily for parking!

This hotel has the reputation of being the best one in Tallinn, and it is deserved. It is a modern skyscraper hotel (the tallest building in the city) with all rooms on floor 12 or higher. The lower floors have a spa, the restaurant, offices, etc. There are great views of the harbor from the (slightly more expensive) harbor view rooms. Highly recommended.

The hotel has impeccable service from friendly staff with chic room design focussing on luxury and comfort. The bar on the 30th floor has excellent views of the surrounding areas and harbour, not to mention they make excellent Mojito's and other cocktails. The Spa area is amazing with indoor pool, gym and personal treatment areas. My personal favourite is the sauna rooms (both Steam and Finnish). Don't forget to try the chill shower afterwards (Brrrrh)... In summary, a very reasonably priced Hotel with a good location and helpful, friendly staff that makes it a cut above the others in the vicinity.

Liked the big room, the contemporary interior design, the comfortable bed, and the big bathroom and bathtub. All rooms do not have the same layout, though, I happened to get a very good one. LOVED the trendy bathroom and especially the bathtub. The hotel restaurant at the 8th floor has a nice, calm atmosphere, good food, reasonible prices and very good service. It was a pure pleasure to dine there.

The Swissotel in Tallinn is a good hotel as you could expect. Although it is not really cozy and some of the details are way under the usual level - such as the furniture looks kind of cheap (or at least looks not really good at closer look). Additionally I had to ask the receptionist to send somebody to change the broken, thus not usable trash-bin in the bathroom, to bring me an iron, to send somebody to replace a burned-out bulb, etc. details. You don't expect it from the hotel claiming to be the best one in the country. Additional bad impression was caused by the fact that I wanted a room with a view of the Old Town (my first time in that city, right?) and they asked me to pay additionally for that "upgrade". Well, of course I paid but the room they gave me had a "partial" and in my opinion no view of the old town at all, but just I was looking at the facade of the the other part of the building complex and the Radisson SAS which stands between Swissotel and the Old Town and respectively has the real view...for free. Although I've tried both hotels, and the general supremacy of Swissotel as a newer property is obvious. Aside of these bad things I could say that the staff was as polite as possible and providing excellent service. They have a relatively good bar in the lobby,too. The hotel is somehow remote for the Tallinn standards. Although everything in Tallinn is at maximum 20 minutes walk and the Old town is some 10-15 minutes away walking, which is still OK unless it's rainy. Taxi from the airport to the hotel is approx. 120 kronas and from the hotel to the center depending on the taxi is between 35-80 kronas. As usual the one waiting in front of the door is the most expensive one in town:) Conclusion: Swissotel is generally one of the top 3 choices you can make for your stay in Tallinn where the other two are smaller independent hotels located in the Old Town which is making them less convenient for real business visitors like myself. My boyfriends family lives in Tallinn and we travel there two times per year to see family, sightsee, and party. This by far the most luxurious hotel in Tallinn. The location is perfect, only a 7min walk to the old city, and 3 min walk to tons of nightlife and shopping. The service is first class, the rooms are ultra modern, the beds are so comfortable, and the food is excellent. Do not stay in one of the old hotels in the old city. This is the best.

We were staying at several hotels during our holiday and this was the one that we were most looking forward too. The hotel was very modern and well designed. The staff at reception all speak English fluently and are very helpful and friendly. It is situated in the business/shopping district, but still very close to the main tourist area of the old town. My boyfriend loved this hotel, however, I was slightly disapointed with it. This was mainly as it was more expensive than our other hotels, so I was expecting more from it. It was a lovely hotel, but a bit too expensive for what it was!

Hotel is much better than anything else I've seen in Europe

My wife and I had a five day break in Tallin to celebrate our wedding anniversary in July. We had an advantage room with harbour view on the 21st floor. From our window we had a good sea view and enjoyed watching the cruise ships and the Helsinki ferry comin and going in the active passenger port.. We could also see a part of the Old Town between neighbouring high rise buildings. The room was very comfortable and well appointed with an enormous bed, tea and coffee making facilities including an expresso coffee maker that worked very well. The bathroom was high tech with an excellent separate shower as well as a large bath. Nice big fluffy towelsand bathrobes were provided. My only slight criticism would be that the square shallow handbasin in tasteful black looked good but was rather impractical in use - an example of design before function! We ate at both the Swiss Cafe and the more expensive Horisont Restaurant which were both excellent The Horisont provides a real gourmet experience. The hotel is well situated being five minutes walk from the shopping are and a 15minute stroll to the Old Town (we are in our seventies, younger more athletic people could do it in 10 minutes) Taxis were readily available just outside the hotel front door. The staff were all attentive and helpful and spoke excellent English. We had a thouroughly enjoyable luxurious holiday and can strongly recommend this hotel.

Large hotel and one of the newer hotels. Fantastic room, beautiful view, frig/tea/coffee, very contemporary with flashy bathroom. Hard to get ice in other countries and maid kept taking ice bucket. Far from the Old Town. Close to mall adn shopping. Some places to eat in the area but not many.
