the hotel was well located for touirist spots and it was rather clean, although getting a bit old. The brekfast was good, but the dinner was overprices and the beer cost 2-3 more than on other restaurants! The restaurant with a city view on the top floor was unfortunatelly closed.

Good location close to Connaught Place (20min walk). Great food, very friendly staff. Travel desk very useful.

What a wonderful hotel, the staff very friendly and helfull, room lovely and clean, bathroom very clean, a good choice of food for breakfast, too very lovely restruants, within the hotel, Indian and Japanse tried them both lovely food, close to most of the must see sights.

The hotel charges for Internet were very high. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends for this reason. I have stayed at other hotels in this category where wifi was included.

1 hour connection: Rs. 250/- 24 hours connection: Rs. 750/- Staffs are very helpful.

Everything in the Hotel was 5 star and the service was warm and helpful which was great.

This is a good hotel. It's website lets it down badly. However , having stayed on occasion at the Taj Mahal Hotel I would classify this as 4* and not 5* .

Very good value - very modern look and feel. The Bar was great as was the adjoining tandoori based eaterie. The location was also great. We were pleased by our decision. Breakfast could have been better (Missing a Dosa station!)

Had a lovely time while I stayed there! Great hospitality indeed! Respectful and co-operative staff, who actually treat you like royalty! I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends!

We recently stayed at The Metropolitan for a 12-day trip to Delhi. It's a little more expensive than the places we normally stay (work was helping to pay for our accommodation), but is significantly cheaper than other luxury properties like the ITC Maurya, Imperial, and Taj Palace. Do note the funky design of frosted glass for the shower that faces into the room: it looks great, but might be uncomfortable if you were sharing the room for business purposes. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, with a real personal touch. Several of the staff tending the amazing breakfast buffet helped answer questions about the Indian dishes available each morning, or helped us pinpoint foods we'd seen for sale in Old Delhi. Breakfast is important, since Delhi doesn't really get going until 10-11 am, and the buffet here is really diverse. The location is perfect: walking distance to Connaught Place, and centrally located between Old Delhi and Rajpath/India Gate. If you plan to use the Metro, the stop at Connaught Place (Rajiv Chowk) is the central hub for all lines. I also like the fact that although the hotel was quiet and a peaceful retreat from the throng of Delhi at the end of the day, it is not completely disconnected from the community, as many luxury properties are. There are temples nearby, people walking to work, etc. just outside the gates. The back of the hotel boasts a pretty garden and nice pool, as well. The service at The Metropolitan was truly excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Delhi, and would make it my base again if I returned. As someone who loves to travel and explore Lonely Planet style, but has tired of hostel-style accommodation, this hotel was absolutely perfect as a base for exploring Delhi.

excellent location. great service. very modern in its overall look. good breakfast and dinner buffet. very helpful staff. rooms were comfortable though the a/c setting was hard to control and the rooms tended to be a bit cold. overall spacious room. would be great if the wifi was a standard feature and not an option one has to pay for given that the room rate is high anyway.

An excellent choice for a hotel if you intend to stay in New Delhi. The hotel is conveniently located near to the City's business & commercial hub with a very friendly and helpful staff. The Hotel is very comfortable and has an excellent choice for breakfast.to suit all tastes. I regard it a very good value for money for the comfort and amenities provided.

our family really enjoyed our stay at the Met...the food was excellent and we loved the different breakfasts each morning of our stay. the staff was extremely helpful in setting up drivers and tours for us. the rain shower is very nice as well!

Decent Business hotel. Could do with better service on the check-in and check-out process. Indeed it seemed to take forever on the check-out in particular. The bar could do with better seating and they really should not have any issue with you sitting at the bar itself. I was asked if I would like to move more than three times! Food is decent quality and staff just need to smile a bit more and be more attentive. My bed-sheets were not spotless - I feel they could have done more to make my experience a little better after this - but it did not seem to make any real difference to them. I was sure they had been freshly cleaned but had stain marks on them. Overall though - still a decent enough place to stay - but they need to raise standards a bit more or lower the rooms rates to match!

The hotel is actually Average compared to the ones around India or in strategic Holiday destinations like Goa / Kerala etc. The rooms could have been a little more stylish. The AC was not working properly on my second day of stay. The temperature never came down and it was blowing somewhat hot air. The cappuccino was not done properly. I asked for Grilled sandwich and continuously got Toasted. The bathroom had translucent glass which is not recommended when staying with family. I had to request several times to send water to the room.They seemed too concerned how much water one drank. Last but not the least, there was no proper arrangement for the New Year. Overall..not that content.

Very conveniently locatied in close proximity to New Delhi's business and shoping area. Have used the services of this friendly hotel on previous occasions for the quality of services received. A very good value for money. Has all the amenities a modern day traveller expects of a 5* hotel. Wi-fi should be complimentry.

My husband and I travel overseas several times a year and try to choose for comfortable, modern rooms, location, and not over-the-top- pretentiousness. Our earlier stay this same trip to Delhi, we were at the Hyatt on recommendation and The Metropolitan we chose ourselves. We liked The Metro much more. Very great location on a smaller quiet street in central Delhi with easy walk to metro, very easy ride to airport, and we totally enjoyed Sakura sushi as a break from Indian food. We will always stay there when in Delhi in the future.

This is comfortable hotel in a conveniel location. Friendly staff and good Indian restaurant downstairs.

In Oct. 2011 we stayed at 3 higher-end New Delhi hotels in one week. This one was in quite pristine condition (shiny clean updated interior), with great comfort (beds, showers) and an overall predictable but glistening feel. Breakfast was good, staff was great. Just a short (<200m) walk from Shivali Stadium Metro station (to/from airport) - very convenient - but a bit remote and isolated from Connaught Place if traveling by foot or late at night. Take an auto-rickshaw! (30 rupees would be a fair price)

had a bad experience at the hotel coz of renovation...the hotel allocated the worst room for us...couldn't sleep at all on that arriving day..and next day we had the same problem of renovation sounds...

友人三人で二泊宿泊しました。友人のうちの一人が誕生日だったのですが、サプライズケーキやマネージャーの代理の方からサプライズコールをいただきました。インドでこんな祝福をいただくと思っていなかったので友人はとても喜んでました。

Hotellet er bra, flotte moderne rom. Men egner seg dårlig for de som ønsker å slappe av i solen ved bassenget etter en varm tur i Delhi by. Et enormt bygg bygges rett ovenfor og dekker for solen tidlig. Dessuten er det ganske sotete og brukes flittig av byens fugler. Priser i restauranten er relativt stiv i forhold til india ellers, og det samme gjelder øl.

Sauber, freundliches Personal, es hat eine riesen Baustelle direkt am Hotel (Poolseite), ist sehr unangenehm und lädt nicht zum Relaxen ein.Aircon im Hotel (Reception, Speisesaal) extrem kalt.

top hotel piscine super personnel vraiment top gentil sauf les bagagistes (ils ne doivent pas aimer les femmes seuls ils etaient affreux avec moi), ils sont tous d'une gentillesse incroyable surtt à l'accueil et au bar... seul hic le bruit car on est en plein dehli qui est une ville ou y'a beaucoup de construction mais on l'oublie vite... le matin petit dej buffet top dans joli cadre tres bon restaurant indien tres joli boutique

空港から清潔なデリーメトロ空港線に乗り、シバジスタジアム駅から５００ｍほどの便利な立地。気候がよく徒歩でもよかったけれどオートリキシャのおっちゃんに声かけられ２０ルピーで楽に着きました。ホテルの雰囲気は楽～という感じ。シャワーのお湯を無駄に使っても切れることはありませんでした。デラックスツインルームでベッドが２つしか入ってなかったのでエキストラベッド追加頼んだらすぐ入れてくれました。私が予約の時忘れていたんです。朝食のビュッフェは和洋印料理があり、超豪華ではないけれど気楽に過ごせてよかったです。昼食は外でもいいけど、夕食を外ではちょっと不安もありホテル内日本食のｓａｋｕｒａに行きました。、お刺身おいしかったです。これは絶対日本のものです。野菜は現地調達ですね。どれもおいしかったですよ。ホテル横のＩＴＢという旅行会社のタクシーをチャーターし気ままにデリー観光をしました。また行きたいです。３月前半はいい季節ですね～。

Ett mycket bra hotell med promenadavstånd (10-15 min) till Connaught Place och dess affärer och restauranger. En Metrostation inom 10 minuter för transport till flygplatsen samt en metro vid Connaught Place. Idealiskt placerat mitt i Delhi för att snabbt kunna besöka alla sevärdheter. Fräscha rum med stor dusch. Bra service och städning. Dyr hotellrestaurang jämfört med andra ställen nere vid Connaught Place. Poolen var kall vid vårt besök i mitten av Mars. Ett stort bygge på tomten mitt emot stör också om man planerar att spendera mycket tid vid poolen. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell till andra.

義理の両親を駐在先のインドに招待旅行ということで、Delhiにおける宿泊先として家族で3部屋確保し3泊しました。 Check-Innがスムースでなかったり、隣の部屋のモーニングコールや廊下の音が聞こえてきたり、ということで必ずしも一流ホテルではないですが、いわゆるビジネスユースとしてAverageレベルとして考えればアリのホテルだと思います。 駐在員として日頃インドでの食事に不自由を感じる身として最大の魅力は日本食レストランSakuraでの食事でしょうか？
