وجبة إفطار جيدة، موقع جيد، ولكن إجمالا فهو إلى حد ما غير نظيف. وخاصة السجاد والجدران. وبدا السرير والحمام على نحو نظيف.

كانت تجربة إيجابية رائعة بالنسبة لنا. وسوف نبقى هناك مرة أخرى

I was happy I switched to Eurostar Hotel from my previous one. The location was not too hard to find, close to train stations and the main road. Their service is nice and friendly, the staff speak good English. The breakfast buffet had a great variety.

Hotel is very clean and very quiet. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Location is great, walking distance to the Colosseum. Hotel is also very close to the Metro A line, tram #3, bus#85 #87 which it can take you to every must see sights. Great Italian breakfast!

Close to Coliseo and San Giovani de Luterano Chiesa. Doesn't has parking, if you go in car you can park it in the street or in a parking near, for E25 per day.

poor sound proofing. Window has poor sound proof with noise of passing traffic even when window was shut closed. You could also hear conversations from another room. Incomplete toilet wares. Didn't have shampoo and conditioner. Only left with one body gel between 2 people to be used for shower and shampoo purpose on second day. TV channel setting was not user friendly. There was only two power outlet and both were used for night table lamps. Didn't have outlet for recharging my batteries, so had go unplug lamps.

Close to must -see sights, clean, comfortable and not too pricey.

Good location, nice room, friendly service, good visitor info, walking distance to the coliseum and other atractions.

This hotel was located in a perfect spot, and we were greated with really nice friendly staff. Room was nice and comfortable, however quite small (and no coffee making facilities in the room!). Although this was a 4 star hotel, it lacked a lot of what you would expect of such a rating, only a breakfast room that shut at 10:30, no coffee outside that time or restaurant. Also the hotel looked a little rough round the edges but only if you looked closely. Saying all that, room was clean, bed was comfortable, a stones throw away from the Colleseum and the metro. Would go there again if prices were competitive.

Do not trust this picture which is taken from a school.This hotel just locates inside a very small street.There is no plaza in front of it.You have to go out of the small street for few minutes to take a taxi.There is only one resterant 500 meters around.

hotel staff very curtius

I travel frequently in Europe and particularly in Italy, so I know what to expect when it comes to a European hotel at the Saint. Johns price point. That being said the Saint. John underwhelmed in every possible way. The upkeep of the hotel is horrible and ownership should absolutely be ashamed. The carpet throughout the building including the guest rooms is stained, tattered, and pungent with a foul odor from years of neglect. The walls are in desperate need of paint and repair. The amenities along with everything else you touch in the place are cheep and poorly designed. The service team is clearly jaded, by years of handling the same complaints time and time again, and wholly disinterested in anything other than collecting a paycheck and leaving the building as quickly as possible. I actually had to request 7 bath towels to lay down on the floor of my room so that i could walk through it without turning my socks and or the bottom my feet black from filth. I highly, highly recommend that you do not book here. Rome has some amazing hotels operated with great care and passion at a very similar price point.

The hotel is good based on Europe standards. The room is small like lots of others. The free wifi is big plus for us. Breakfast is pretty good although a kind of tired of it after staying more than three days. The location is good-not in the heart of the city but a short walk. Our biggest problem is with the carpet (quite dirty) and the extra blanket ( smell bad and we did not use it).

great place and good location for those who love to walk everywhere

Staff was very professional and helpful. The hotel offers free internet, but it's a little slow. The Colosseum is a 10 minute walk away, and there is a subway station less than a block away for the subway train that runs past the vatican.

The hotel room was very small . The carpet in the room was old and looked dirty. I have stayed far better hotel than this one which were three stars. Not bad if you just want to crash over night. Good location very close to subway station and Colloseum.

The room was extremely small, with just enough space to walk around the bed.

We had four rooms. One had a foul odor never corrected one room had faulty air conditioner never corrected. One of the two elevator was out of service.

Great value for Money in a good location. 10 minute walk away from the coliseum and also some good restaurants near by. The rooms are smaller than what we are used to, but they were clean. The size of the room did not bother us though as we were on holiday to see Rome and not the inside of a bedroom. Great to have free wi-fi available throughout the hotel and the breakfast was a good standard compared to other continental hotels. The hotel/ reception staff were very helpful and did things immediately for you. Breakfast staff were a little more lazy but hey it was self service so we didn't need much attending to. Hotel is in a quiet location and at the same time not very far from the metro, and bus stops. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Not far from the Metro, so very convenient for getting around. Walking distance from Coliseum. Our room smelled horrible, and they switched us immediately upon request. Nice, well-maintained hotel. Friendly service. Excellent wifi in room.

Very friendly staff. Small rooms, that looks new and fresh. Good location in quiet street.

The room was almost nice with a not bad bathroom. Front desk was very nasty and had a really bad attitude. Even though the hotel is not so far from the Colosseum its a very bad neighborhood and I didn't feel safe walking out at night.

Rooms are very small, and shower is tiny, but the staff was very helpful and the location convenient.

The hotel was quite expensive for the size of the room. However, Rome itself is expensive and this particular weekend was quite crowded. The room was very small, but very clean and well furnished. The bathroom was also very clean and nicely done. This location is great for those who either want to take cabs or like to walk. Otherwise, it can be difficult if you're looking to be close to the traditional sights of Rome (other than the Colosseum).

It was a small room, but not unexpected for Europe. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. They spoke English very well. Close to many tourist sites. Would definitely recommend it.

We stayed here for 5 nights, as our last leg of our 1 yr anniversary trip to Italy. It was a comfortable stay in a quiet but small (expected in the city) the bed was nice, the shower had mold and the carpet turned my socks brown everyday. I wish breakfast was included. It seemed like a nice breakfast but was expensive p/p. It was a 10-15 min walk to the colleseum, but the walk is along a nasty street where homeless ppl sleep and it stinks. The metro was nice and very conveniently located, along with the Termini station. The only great service we received was from Maria, ( or Mirna, I can't remember what her name tag said ) but she was very helpful, she one day booked a tour for us and on the last day when we were leaving for flight home she helped us SOOO MUCH! Everyone who worked here failed to let us know that the Metro ( our plan to get to the airport ) was planning on a typical STRIKE! So, benounce to us we didn't book another means of transportation and this whole situation could of been diverted if we were notified of the possible STRIKE. Maria called several ppl for us trying to get a taxi or anything! She was finally able to get us a taxi and when it arrived she even went outside and talked him into taking us to the airport and only for a certain rate. We were so thankful for her, with the sircumstances we had. And if she didn't do all that she did, we probably would of missed our flight.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Don't let the initial drive up to the door fool you.... We were a little sketchy at first, but once you enter the lobby, you realize there is nothing to be worried about. The location is about 15 minutes walking to the Colloseum. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!!

poor service, shabby hotel

The hotel was in overall OK. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable of the area we were close to the Colosseum, but my complain was no Air Condition !!!! at all. Even though the nights were cool not cold I had a bad time sleep with the open window and the noise outside my window and no A/C. During the day is was hot in the room. They said A/C had problem. They lied different staff member gave all types of excuses. My advise make sure your next Europe hotel has AC and its on!!!!!!!!

After being quoted insane rates at other hotels, we read a few reviews and took a chance...it was well worth it. The rooms are tiny but the location, the staff, and the vibe was perfect for exploring Rome. Mirta, the front desk manager, was absolutely fantastic, even getting us a prime table at rooftop restaurant facing the Coliseum...on Holy Thursday! The room would get tiny after more than 3-4 days but for a short stint, the Saint Johns is perfect, walking distance from the Colisseum, the Forum, the Metro and a zillion great cafes, churches. LOVED it.

As far as location, this hotel was great. right near the metro and within reasonable walking distance to major sites. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. However, they did not have air condition while we were there and opening the window helped but the hotel is on a noisy and very busy street. So we were up very early each morning with the traffic and the room was very hot. Before you book, make sure the air condition works here.

Most front desk staff are terrific, but one was not very helpful. Room was generally warm. Could use an extra chair. Bathroom sink drained too slowly. Hotel promptly fixed it, but the problem reappeared in a day. Water in the cups not emptied daily and cups never washed during stay! We visited other cities, while still keeping the room. Upon returning found the cups rather unhygienic! Breakfast menu had limited vegetarian choice, but was satisfying. Close to buses, metro station and attractions. Would stay again.

St John hotel is a very nice hotel.metro is about 300m far in a very quiet and safe area and also in a warlking distance from Colloseum and Roman Forum .staff is very polite and helpfull.Rooms are not so big but they are clean.i reccomend this hotel to all of you *only they have to make their internet connection faster

This was a great location. Less than a mile away from city center. Hotel was very clean, staff was very helpful. I will highly recommend it to anyone.

Nicely decorated. Close to Metro and close to old Rome. Front desk staff are very helpful. My only complaint is the bed is a little hard.

We really liked the location of this Hotel, we walked just about everywhere. the staff was very helpful and accommodating. One issue is that the walls are paper thin. We were kept up all night from a man snoring in the room next door. It was horrible. We had the breakfast buffet the first day we arrived, and it was offered at a discount for our stay, but we found a walk for about 8 minutes took us to better food and coffee than the hotel had, at better prices as well. We had booked this hotel for a family of four, but when we were checking in they questioned our booking, but did give us the room that we had booked online with hotel.com.

About 20-25 min walk to the Coliseum...watch out for dog stuff on the sidewalks...one block from the subway. Hosts very helpful. Room clean, but small. No charge for WIFI. Bed pretty firm, but the bathroom was great, There are some local eateries around the Coliseum. Overall, I would recommend. I'd stay again!

The manager Osama was extremely helpful with our problems. We were there during the snow and had to leave earlier. He did everything he could to get our monies refunded. If it weren't for the snow, the location would have been fine. Food not too good. Price was very good for Europe.
