SpringHill Suites by Marriott Terre Haute - تيري هاوتي

My stay was very brief - just one night but the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room, bathroom, and rest of the hotel was very clean. It is very close to Terre Haute's mall (just across the street) but was farther than I would have liked to be from my destination - Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. I realized this when I booked the room, but I was spending the night alone and wanted a safe location, so I traded distance for comfort. The staff was cordial, and gave me a good feeling about the mid-west in general (I'm from California.) I would stay there again.

2nd stay here. Great location, clean and great breakfast. What more can you ask for the price??

Beautiful room with kitchenette. Only stayed one night. Shopping in same parking lot. Restaurants within a couple of blocks (busy highway). A bit of a drive to Rose Hulman (20 - 30 minutes), but I would rather be close to the restaurants and shopping than the school. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!

I would highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely plan to stay there again if going through that area. Staff friendly, room very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast selections.

This place was very nice, clean, friendly staff. Everything we could have hoped for and more.

We stay at Spring Hill Suites every time we are in town. People are friendly, and remember us, even if it has been a while since we were there. Close to shopping and restraunts. Have never had any problems or complaints.

I had to change reservations but it presented no problems for the staff. Everyone was most courteous.

Great location for visiting with relatives; wonderful continental breakfast, friendly staff; very clean room; have tried other hotels within that proximity but will definitely come back to your hotel.

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at this hotel during a family reunion. The hotel was very nice and clean and the room was great. It had a very nice sitting area with a large bath and two closets. It was conveniently located near shopping areas and the indoor pool was great. It will be a definite hotel on my list for our next stay in Terre Haute.

Nice property, accomodating staff, clean, comfortable rooms. It's conveniently located near the highway 70 with no issues with road noise. The bed was comfortable. The shower/tub was adequate, if not spacious.

The suite made the hours on the road worth the trip!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this hotel. It was above and beyond what I expect of a chain hotel and would very highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed for two nights while moving our son into his college dorm. This hotel was very clean and quiet. The rooms are quite spacious, almost like a small studio apartment with out the stove. The free breakfast was a typical setup with a Waffle Iron, eggs , sausage, bagels, toast, juice, coffee, ect... We felt very safe and comfortable here.

Husband and I went about a hour away for weekend getaway and had a terrific stay. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Is surrounded by a ton of places to eat and within walking distance to the mall. Has pool and hot tub however we didnt get to enjoy them cause alot of kids appeared to be having a blast and didnt want to spoil there fun with a couple older folks getting in with them. Although we didnt have much time to sit down and enjoy much of there breakfast what we did have was great and had a huge variety. Would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler or anyone that just wants to slip away for a night

Hotel was wonderful, rooms were spacious and very clean. Pool area (although small) was great for team of girls we came to Terre Haute with. Breakfast was enormous. Check was very easy and smooth.

Checked in and it was fine. Staff was nice enough. Discovered water dripping into closet with mold growing inside. Asked to change rooms only to have second rooms carpet soaked with water form AC system. Third room was fine but was a handicapped room and had odd setup with low switches etc. Breakfast ends at 9 so we never got to use that. There are several other hotels surrounding this at prices about 50% less... if your not getting any value add go for the lowest price. The Marriot name bought me nothing here. Staff tried to do thier best but had one poor situation to work with. Very disappointing...... To make matters worse housekeeping didnt even clean one of the two rooms on the second morning stay. We told them to come back later... they never did.

I was planning on staying during the week at this hotel. Then moving to another hotel for the weekend because I had friends coming into town who were staying at a hotel across the parking lot from this one. After the first night of being in this hotel I decided to book a room for the weekend also. I loved this hotel so much that I chose the comfort of the room over the convenience of being at the same hotel as friends. Plus it was really nice to have the sitting area in my room so they could come over and visit without everyone having to pile up on the beds. My room had ALOT more room than theirs and I paid much less for mine.

Our family was very pleased with our stay at the SpringHill Suites. While the room was not spacious, the space was adequate and the layout was very practical for 2 adults and 2 children. We had a King suite. Although there is no door between the bed area and the living room space, the dividing wall did provide some privacy. Our daughters enjoyed the pool and I used the small fitness room (which was just a few treadmills). There was a nice variety of options for breakfast.

I usually stay at another hotel when I travel toTerre Haute. That hotel was not available and this hotel was located nearby with a better rate. I will definately stay at this hotel on my next visit.

I originally reserved the room for 4 days because I was in Terre Haute due to business. I love, love, loved the hotel room I was in. It was beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable. After being there 24 hours I went back on the website & reserved a room for 2 more days. It was especially helpful to me that they had an ethernet cord connection in the room. When I travel for business my company doesn't allow us to use wireless internet because we sometimes transfer confidential medical information. That was great for me. Last year I stayed 12-15 times in the hotel in front of this one in Terre Haute. I guarentee from now on I will be staying at Springhill Suites instead.

Everything was very nice. The rooms were great. The layout of a separate "living room" gave us more room to spread out. The separation of sink area from toilet and shower area was also very helpful. The breakfast bar was well maintained and there was a nice variety of breakfast foods. The 24/7 coffee/tea was also very appreciated. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was also convenient to the main highway.

The hotel is nicely located on the main road through Terre Haute just south of US Interstate 70. It is set back a distance from the main road so traffic noise is at a minimum. The surrounding area is quite urban with plenty of shopping, dinning, and entertainment. The property appears to be very well maintained both inside and out. The room was very nice with the chose of daily housekeeping services or not. The comfort of the room was good except for the bed and the shower. The bed mattress was either old and worn out or extremely soft. It was uncomfortable to sleep on. The shower had some form of water control problem. The water temperature would go back and forth from scalding hot to freezing cold. Taking a shower of any length of time was impossible. While the majority of the staff seemed friendly and personable the front desk service was exteremly poor. While I can recommend this hotel there appears to be a large number of hotels in the area so on our next trip there we will try one of the other places.

this hotel was clean, easy to find, very friendly workers, and had very comfortable beds.

Clean, comfortable hotel has improved on it's morning breakfast service by having more staff to supply the buffet and clean tables. Could stand improving selection of baked goods and maintaining adequate supply of fruit.

was very nice . great location . breaskfast was good . A family reunion was there so pool was to busy .

I have to travel to this area about twice a year for business and have been moderately pleased with the hotels in this area. I found the Springhill on hotels.com and thought it couldn't hurt to try it. Boy was I glad I did. Very nice, clean, and bright lobby. Room was spacious and clean. Only minor problem was it is tucked behind another hotel and my GPS didn't want to find it right away. Many restaraunts close and right across from the Honey Creek Mall. I will be back.
