My son moved to Ft. Myers & I spent 5 days at the Flamingo. Loved being in walking distance of the beach. The staff were very nice and helpful and the room was kept clean. Priced right for the facilities. The room was small and the bathroom very tiny. Don't drop the soap in the shower, you can't bend over to pick it up. You can sit on the potty & brush your teeth at the sink at the same time. The mattress springs were broke down on one side. We had the first room facing Estero and it can be pretty noisey. I know this all sounds discouraging but for the price & location I would consider staying here again.

I was very disappointed. The room was very small. I could not turn on the shower by myself, it stuck. No ice cube trays or any ice available. There was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, you almost had to back in to use the toilet.

every thing was very nice except the bed was very lumpy and noisy just to sit down on. other than that very nice.

My husband and I wanted a small quiet getaway. Being we live in Florida we choose Fort Myers beach. Luckly we found the Flamingo Inn, quiet very friendly staff close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Looking forward to our next visit.

Smaller room, but clean and in fine shape. Hotel was a good value and very close to the beach....a very nice beach. Friendly staff. I arrived late (after the office closed) but everything went smoothly with after hours check in. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a very nice, quiet, clean hotel with a great balcony deck. Just a few steps from the beach. There was no coffee maker or coffee in the front office, but there is a 7-11 store just a short block away. I would return here again and recommend it to friends.

The Flamingo Inn Fort Myers is a nice and clean hotel. The room was well apointed and clean. The young lady at the desk was cute and knowledgable about the area. My sons and I had a fine stay at the inn. And transportation around the island from the hotel is real easy. We were able to get around easy thinks to the advise of the office.

My four nights at the Flamingo Inn were GREAT. The staff were very helpful & kind. I highly recommend this resort for a good low cost place to stay, with GREAT beach access. They even have bicycles you can borrow, allow pets and are close to many places to eat. You also have a trolley stop right next door. I will go back.

We came for the sandsculpting festival and could not have asked for a better iocation. The hotel itself was just alright but the staff was friendly and the price was good.

The hotel location just next to the beach is really pleasant, and the staff I dealt with was really friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very accomodating. All the people I spoke with were very helpful. I am definitely going back there again. It is a great location.

What a pleasant surprise when we checked in to the Flamingo. It is a quaint beachy hotel with very tatefully remodeled rooms. We don't require fancy room, just clean and comfortable. I can't wait to stay again and also must mention the tasty breakfast we had an old time diner across the street " the Munch Box" Thanks for the hospitality.

Way down the beach - traffic back and forth unbelievable. Location not good. Rooms not updated. Carpeting stained. Front door left opened all night. Very loud and bright. Not a very comfortable stay.

Close to the beach and friendly staff. I would stay at the Flamingo Inn again in the future.

Loved the location away from noisy nightlife & and a very SHORT stroll to the beach. Accomodations, however, were were quite cramped as all the amenities were stuffed into an undersized room: mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, cooktop, sink, dinette set, 3/4 bath, etc. Our entire bathroom measured only 5' X 6'. There was no soap dish in the tiny 2' X 2.5' shower so we had to pick our bar of soap off the floor-- No small feat for a big old fat guy! No complaints about the firm bed or cable TV but I wouldn't recommend staying here unless your operating on a budget and are willing to sacrifice some comfort. Almost forgot to mention there's a 7/11 and a restaraunt across the street.

Great place, wonderful beach.. will gp back there.

We stayed in a room that hed been remodeled, it was great for us. I read some of the reviews and decided to take my chances and I am glad I did. We decided to stay an extra night. I will go back.

Hotel owners and staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to assist us and make our stay so enjoyable. We stretched our original 2 day booking for an additional 8 days accross the road at their Hidden Cove efficiencies, located at the end of a canal overlooking home and boats. A very restful stay.

This hotel is dirty. Rugs have stains and spots. The sheets were not changed my entire stay. The Bedspread has a big red stain on it. It is very small and crowded for a two bedroom unit. The bathroom was extremely small. There is no shelves or shower caddy in the stall so you have to lay your soap and shampoo on the floor. The shower head has so little pressure it is hard to remove the shampoo and soap from yourself. The head was clogged and it hits you about neck high and doesn't move so you can wash or rinse your lower areas. The curtain does not go to the floor so every time you use it the remaining outside flor is full of water. The water goes from a drool to 200 degrees by itself and burns you. It was cold in December and the room has no heat. We got a small space heater to put on the stove and it got so hot we were concerned about burning the place down. We asked for some input on local eating places but they said they didn't really know any. The place they did reccomend was not real good. It is noisy, cold, and dirty. In need of mainjtenance. It is really a one bedroom place but stuffed with two beds, real close. We tripped on the stairs outside from loose pads and I'm sure somewone will get hurt. I mentioned it but nothing was done. I would not go back to this place.

Wonderful stay at the quieter end of Fort Myers Beach. Very short walk (half a block) to enjoy the beautiful beach. I am making plans to return to this inn which is located on a quiet street. You also have free use of beach mats, beach towels, chairs, inflatables, etc.

What a FIND!!! The hotel staff was so nice and friendly, the room was clean and updated, and the location could not have been better. Its down the road a bit from the "main" beach attraction area, but that why we loved it so much. The area was quite, the beach was just a short 3min walk away, and its close to a gas station and grocery store. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was small and outdated, carpet smelly and old. No swimming pool. Difficult to get wireless, signal always dropping.

nice section on this beach....7/11 across street is excellent,......lack of food places around...but if youhave a car...should be ok.

This hotel was worth the $ but I have to tell you we wouldln't stay more then 2 nights because ofthe shower pressure. I kid you not the pressure was so bad it took us 25 mins to take a shower. Other then that we loved this hotel, it was near the beach. We walked to the beach, and resturants were close by we walked to it. Also I loved that we were able to have internet access in the room. It was great, I loved that. The owners were great, offered us different discount's to the local restaurants and outlets. Very nice for the time we stayed !

...and much more economical. Friendly, great service, clean; it was the perfect little getaway. Sure the updated suite will be great. In it's current state, the room we stayed was not fancy, but had everything we needed and it couldn't have been in a better location.

There was no place to unpack your clothes, little bugs in the room and a very weak signal for the free WiFi

we were early to arrive...however we were able to get into a room...chairs and umbrella was offered for beach use during our stay...very quiet...nice personnel. we will return.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very nice and comfortable for the price. Location was great! Will return again!

This hotel wasn't a 5 star luxury resort, but I wasn't looking for that either. I wanted something close to the beach: check. I wanted something clean: check. Safe: Check. Friendly: check. It reminded me of hotels in Europe which I suppose is dead on considering the owners are German and Polish. Sure, the bathrooms are small - but what do you need a big bathroom for? The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchenette in our room was handy and kept our expenses on food to a minimum. The TV had enough cable to keep us entertained when we needed to reload. The front porch area was great because it allowed us a place at night to drink some wine, chat with fellow hotel guests (mostly international) and watch as the lizards came out to be social. They even provided us with beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella and whatever else we might have needed. Parking was free and safe - and the hotel was a 3 minute walk away from the 7-11 if you were "unable" to drive anywhere. This is most certainly a place that I would return to again - and please keep in mind that as happy as I was with our hotel room, I was informed that it was next on the list for upgrades! That means that if I go back it will be even nicer! That's pretty fantastic, at least I think so.

Mysigt familjehotell med grymt läge nära stranden. Nyrenoverat rum med fullt kök. Perfekt att man kunde låna strandhanddukar, solstolar, strandleksaker till barnen osv.

Praktisk ett-roms leilighet for 4 personer (forelderepar med to tenåringer). Godt utstyrt "kjøkken".Det eneste som var negativt,var at aircondision bråkte i meste laget,litt irriterende om natten.Hadde leilighet uten veranda og savnet det særlig for å få tørke/lufte bandehåndklær. Super beliggenhet ,og en meget behjelpelig og imøtekommende resepsjon.Flott med utlån av parasoller,solstoler og badehånklær. Anbefales!!

Nudelig nyrenovert rom, 216. Pene farger og fliser på gulvet. Huset umake utvendig, men la deg ikke skremme. Beliggenhet super, ca 100m fra kilimetervis med sandstrand. Bor her gjerne igjen.

Uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen, die Zimmer sind nicht top modern ausgestattet (das Mobiliar ist halt teilweise älter), aber die Zimmer sind alle sauber und komfortabel. Wir hatten jeweils Zimmer mit kleiner Küche und Esstisch, so dass wir uns gut selbst versorgen konnten. Die Lage ist super, ist sozusagen dritte Strandreihe, man geht nur wenige Meter zu Fuss zum traumhaften Sandstrand. Handtücher und Strandstühle stehen jedem Gast zur Verfügung und können aus dem offenen Wäschekeller entnommen werden. Die teilweise deutschsprachige Rezeption hat uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden (Fahrradverleih, Restaurants etc.). Rund um ein tolles Hotel, wir würden jederzeit und gerne wiederkommen.

Resorts ist ein sehr Strand nahes Hotel wo man auch nützliche Sachen für den Stand bekommt wie z. B. Spielsachen, Luftmatratze, Stühle ... Man gab und ganz viele Tipps auf deutsch wo was zu sehen ist und was sich auf jeden Fall lohnt an zu schauen. Wir würden wieder in dieses Hotel fahren. Leider hatten Sie keine Ice-Maschine....

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältniss! Lage optimal - nur 100 m vom Strand! Freundlicher Service ...definitiv mehr als man erwartet.

Kleines Hotel mit kleinen Zimmern. Unser Zimmer hatte ein Raum in dem sich das Bett eine kleine Küche und alles andere befand. Daneben ein ebenso kleines WC mit Dusche. Von der Lage her nahe zum schönen feinen und sauberen Sandstrand. Der "Timesquare" ist ca. 4 Meilen entfernt, jedoch fährt ein Trolley für 50ct je Fahrt von morgens bis abends diese Strecke.

het is de tweede maal dat ik in dit hotel verblijf en het was nog beter dan de eerste keer. de hotelmanagers zijn super vriendelijk zoals ook het personeel dat daar werkt. het is voor hen geen enkel probleem om je wensen te vervullen. het is de ligging die het hem doet om zeker nog eens terug te gaan en ik moet ook vermelden dat ze zeker iets gedaan hebben aan de waterdruk waar vorig jaar veel mensen om klaagden. ze zijn dan ook nog aan het vernieuwen van de kamers en er was ook een nieuwe wasmachine en droogkast. ik vind dat het zeker een ster meer waard is, omdat ze zo hard hun best doen om alles naar de wens van de klant te laten verlopen.ik kan alleen maar zeggen dat ik zo snel mogelijk terug zal gaan!

Eine sehr freundliche Dame ließ uns 2 Stunden vor der angegebenen Zeit (15:00 Uhr) bereits unkompliziert einchecken. Als wir sie über unsere Pläne in dieser Stadt informierten (Strandbesuch und Miromar Outlets), hatte sie gleich einige gute Tipps hierzu wie etwa die kostenlose Benutzung von Sonnenschirmen, Strandhandtüchern, beste Route oder ein Couponheft. Zudem hätte sie uns ein upgegradetes Zimmer gegeben, da in unserem offensichtlich geraucht worden ist trotz Nichtraucher-Hotel. Das wären größere und ruhiger liegende Appartments auf der anderen Straßenseite gewesen. Da wir das für eine Nacht nicht in Anspruch genommen haben, hielt sie uns Raumsprays zur freien Verfügung bereit. Leider sind die Zimmer mit Teppichboden ausgesgtattet, so dass die Sauberkeit und der Geruch nie optimal sein können.

Eine Überraschung bei der Ankunft war, dass die Besitzerin Deutsch sprach. Zum breien Strand sind es nur wenige Meter. Die Entfernungen zu anderen Punkten (Zentrum, Museum) sind allerdings kaum ohne Auto zu bewältigen.
