The stay was great... the comforts were minimal, but that's what I preferred. If other words, if you are on a budget, this is the place to be. If you are too picky and critical, stay elsewhere. Jorge, Vicco, Crystal and the rest of the team work hard to accommodate you, and they do a good job.

Older hotel but our room looked like it had been completely renovated. No coffee in room although there is a coffee pot so bring your own.

Very clean, comfortable room. The decor was very nice. The dark wood trim and real wood furniture were a nice change from the ordinary. Marble and Granite made for an upscale feel Inn at a reasonable price. Only complaint was the refridgerator did not function properly. Freezer worked, but not the fridge part. Location was outstanding. Would definately repeat again.

The Inn is very basic, so if you want upscale look elsewhere. However, this is a great little find, 100 yards from the beach with trolleys and stores and eateries within walking distance. The price was minimal and the staff accommodating. I will return to the Inn again.

My husband and I decided to stay in Fort Myers Beach for our anniversary. We wanted a relaxing, no plans kind of weekend, and that is exactly what we got. The location was perfect, not too close (but definitely close enough) to Town Square where it tends to be a little too loud for what we were looking for. The beach was about 3 houses away from the Flamingo Inn, we didn't even have to cross a street to get there. The hotel is small but clean, with a microwave and fridge in the standard king room we got. Lovers Key is a short drive south, definitely worth a visit. I will stay here again in the future. A lot of places were booked up due to a concert that weekend, so glad I was able to find a place here and at a great price!

While the property was a bit away from the center of action in Ft Myers Beach, the access to the beach was close, and the decor of the room was most appealing, even for a small hotel room. Well worth the price

The bathroom could really use some updating. Our room was clean and cool. We liked the idea that we could use chairs and towels from the motel.

We were practically sitting on the edge of the busiest street and it was noisy. The room was the size of a shoe box and extremely hot. Small mini blinds on windows didn't make it very private. There was a dog below us that barked occasionally and the mini fridge ran throughout the night. For the cost of a one night stay there you could have a luxury room elsewhere. Not a comfortable sleep.

We stayed there for a week. The room was relatively small but with miniature kitchen, pots and pans, recently renovated with some taste. 15 seconds walking distance to the beach. Beach chears and towels are located for pick up on the first floor. Good price. It is own and run by Germans. Very clean. 30 seconds walk to the trolley.

Friendly, personal personnel. Cook-in facilities saved money. Nearby restaurants, churches, NEW library, etc. Good for walks on the beach, chairs, etc. available no charge. Traffic jam 4-8 daily.

Room was clean, but small . Beach was close , maid service every day maybe to keep up with those who were shelling and beaching it every day. Resturant across street very nice.

The Flamingo Inn was a great spot in Fort Myers Beach. The staff was great and always helpful!

I was glad to see that the Flamingo Inn was somewhat removed from the hustle & bustle of the heart of Ft. Myers Beach. It was extremely close to the quiet part of the beach which was perfect for me! The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home. I loved that there were beach chairs/loungers to borrow and that it felt like I was staying at a friend's home. I can't wait to go back!

Great price for a room near the beach during prime time season. Newly remodeled and very clean. Bathroom a bit small but comfortable beds and a nice tv. Friendly front desk at check in. Great for two peple with no need for a pool or an ocean view. Kitchen was small but very handy. No view from our room.

We stayed at the Flamingo Inn for one night, before our rental home was ready the next day. The location was a short walk to the beach, there were restaurants and stores nearby. The room was small and smelled a little mildew-like, though appeared clean. The bed was uncomfortable.

We went to Fort Myers Beach for the Sand Sculpting event. For a weekend stay on a 2 star inn/hotel was fair. However, for the place we stayed, the price was extremely cheap. The room looked beautiful and clean. There were a couple of things that were off but could look past it cz it's no big deal. The location was only a walk from the sand sculpting event. Walking on the beach towards the event was very relaxing. I would definitely use this place again next year for the sand sculpting!

I recommend this hotel for peole that like travel with dogs and like the beach.

We just wanted to do a weekend near the beach what a great surprise to us very pleased. This was one of the best stays we have had in a long time We will stay every chance we get.

I booked a king bed effiency, we ended up with 1 bedroom appartment! It wasn't on the beach side, it was on the bay side, which was still perfect. The room was awesome. We had our own small yard for the dogs to enjoy. We could fish right off out balcony!! It was such an awesome experience. Would definitely stay again.

I will go back to this nice hotel.

Right on the main street of Fort Myers Beach. Very nice rooms. Somewhat small bathrooms. A very short walk to beach. Beach area keep very clean. In room ammenities were very good. Saved money by eating in. Very quiet rooms. Would recommend to my friends.

Cool set up and close to the beach. About 4 miles away from the action and that 4 miles could take 10 or 15 minutes during the wrong time of the day. Room was small and shower pressure was weak. Very clean and quaint.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Flamingo. The hosts were very accomodating and the room was very nice and very clean. It was recently remodeled.

This is our second stay at the Flamingo Inn. We love the Old Florida Style Beach House feeling with Beautifully remodeled rooms. Modest Size but very clean. Walk to beach and now that we know the hotel and beach are dog friendly we look forward to bringing our dog Max too. Thanks and see you next time.

Very clean, wonderful staff, about 100 feet from beautiful beach. They had beach chairs and towels for our use. Enoyed the weekend there and will go back and stay again. Quaint little place!!!!

My son moved to Ft. Myers & I spent 5 days at the Flamingo. Loved being in walking distance of the beach. The staff were very nice and helpful and the room was kept clean. Priced right for the facilities. The room was small and the bathroom very tiny. Don't drop the soap in the shower, you can't bend over to pick it up. You can sit on the potty & brush your teeth at the sink at the same time. The mattress springs were broke down on one side. We had the first room facing Estero and it can be pretty noisey. I know this all sounds discouraging but for the price & location I would consider staying here again.

I was very disappointed. The room was very small. I could not turn on the shower by myself, it stuck. No ice cube trays or any ice available. There was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, you almost had to back in to use the toilet.

every thing was very nice except the bed was very lumpy and noisy just to sit down on. other than that very nice.

My husband and I wanted a small quiet getaway. Being we live in Florida we choose Fort Myers beach. Luckly we found the Flamingo Inn, quiet very friendly staff close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Looking forward to our next visit.

Smaller room, but clean and in fine shape. Hotel was a good value and very close to the beach....a very nice beach. Friendly staff. I arrived late (after the office closed) but everything went smoothly with after hours check in. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a very nice, quiet, clean hotel with a great balcony deck. Just a few steps from the beach. There was no coffee maker or coffee in the front office, but there is a 7-11 store just a short block away. I would return here again and recommend it to friends.

The Flamingo Inn Fort Myers is a nice and clean hotel. The room was well apointed and clean. The young lady at the desk was cute and knowledgable about the area. My sons and I had a fine stay at the inn. And transportation around the island from the hotel is real easy. We were able to get around easy thinks to the advise of the office.

My four nights at the Flamingo Inn were GREAT. The staff were very helpful & kind. I highly recommend this resort for a good low cost place to stay, with GREAT beach access. They even have bicycles you can borrow, allow pets and are close to many places to eat. You also have a trolley stop right next door. I will go back.

We came for the sandsculpting festival and could not have asked for a better iocation. The hotel itself was just alright but the staff was friendly and the price was good.
