Carlton Motel Long Beach - لونج بيتش

It's small but nice. Rooms have hd tvs. A little table with two chairs a nice designed bathroom. Has a microwave and little fridge. Clean and nice. Little small but good price for what you get. I got there at 3am and he woke up to help me. Nice man.

A bed, a TV, a sink and a bath, no phone. Towels were old, rough and all with a slightly dark shadow of long use. Floors were filthy so don't go barefoot, your feet will end up black. Lacking the advertized hot pot for tea and a hair dryer. The proprieter is extremely unwelcoming and not accomodating in the least, despite your room lacking advertized amenities (when confronted about the lacking ammenities he claims you failed to choose a "deluxe room" despite what the Hotels.com advertizing clearly sold you on). This motel deserves to go out of business. Good location but tragic lodgings. Lesson learned. Beware!!!

This motel had no dressers, closets, end tables, phone. The lighting SUCKS!!! (good luck doing your makeup girls) and the floors were filthy.

It's just a bed

Pleasant staff and clean rooms centrally located by the 405/710 split. I have no complaints.

The location of the hotel was very disappointing. Wifi was quick.

A great service with friendly and accommodating staff. I would recommend this place highly. Easy to find and great access to the freeway so you can easily get everywhere by car. There are also good local walks and bus stops close by. Well worth a visit.

Stay was OK but small but adequate room for a very short stay. No room for much luggage especially anything that needs to hang (no closet). For large family traveling on the cheap this might work.

We booked the deluxe room according to the pictures. Rooms are nothing like shown in the pictures, completely misled. Dirty and old. Bed sheets are completely faded with little flowers on them, looked like old sheets that were second hand. The owner was rude when we requested to change rooms. Please avoid, even just for a quick place to lay our head for the night, this motel was in every way inadequate.

This hotel staff is very friendly. We looked for hours for a hotel that accepted dogs and this is far the best for dog friendly hotels. They supplied our dog with treats, a bed, and a bowl for food and water. I'd recommend it for any dog lovers out there.

For what I paid for it was worth it I guess this is just a motel nothing romantic about it. The towels where dingy I had to buy my own the lights flickered the wifi was terrible. The hot water would go in and out at times and my toilet got clogged when I asked the guy for help he directed me to the plunger outside by the vending machine so I did it myself. The owner wasnt very friendly You get what you pay for at 46 bucks a night...I just needed a place to crash

insensitive. rude. unpleasant. money hungry. selfish.

Hotel is looking very good with new paint job. Free water and internet is great. Like that every room has a refrigerator, microwave and iron.

From the pictures I thought this hotel would be decend enough to stay at but after arriving I could tell right away they advertised something completely different. Even the color of the buildings and signs were different!!! The sheets were at least ten years old and full of hair. The smell was like mold and rotted wood together. The place was full of dirt and grime. We had to check out 15 min after checking in. The place was sick the pillows were completely stained and blankets were full of holes. we had to pay even tough we didnt stay more than 15 min! the office did not even have a phone to discuss the matter or even an English speaking employee. This place is a joke! Please look elsewhere!

I stayed for a week, and cant complain it gave me exactly what i paid for a place to sleep!

The newly renovated rooms are amazing. The couch and throw in front of the windows are great to use after a long day to relax in front of the tv. Amazing location. Good service and met all my needs. Wonderful price!!

Small, cramped and listed wrong. Its half an hour away from LAX and it was listed as less than 2 miles away

The Indian guy who I guess is the manager, kicked me out of my room exactly at check out time (11am) I told him I was waiting for my wife to pickme up and he told me to grab my belongings and had to wait outside. The rooms are small and really poor quality. You can tell the place had just even renovated. I honestly did not like the service. It's not worth it everyone:(

worst experience ever!!!!!!!

This place was very clean and quite, Rooms are kept up to date with all the amenities they offer. They have temperpedic beds in the rooms and that is a nice touch to a stay away from your home. Alots of channels on the TV and LCD TVs in the room. I was very shocked that i got hot water anytime of the day being such a small motel but was great. When going to long beach you need to check this place out!

horrible stay accidentally selected one Person instead of two and was denied service. Spent almost an hour straightening it out.

I was here for 3 nights at the motel on business. Its a clean quite small little place. Rooms are nice and seem to be new. There is one way in and one way out so i felt safe knowing that anyone coming or going passes thru the front desk. We had a nice time at this motel and the staff was very nice. Seems like they have going thru some major changes after reading the past guest reviews we were not sure but gave it a shot and it worked out to be great. Thanks staff of carlton motel for our enjoyable stay with you guys.

Nice clean place, love the decor of the room and the wood floors. They have huge LED TVs in the rooms and free bottled water everyday!!! We stayed here for 5 nights and it was awesome, could have not asked for a better experience while we were in Long Beach. We also met many people staying there from all around the world and they also liked the place. Next time we come to Long Beach we will not go to any other place but Carlton Motel.

The colors were adorable but the paint job was sloppy. I notice these things. The sheets had not been changed (thank god I brought all my own bedding). There was not any soap available: I brought that too. It was all about convenience for me.

we chose this hotel because we were coming in late and leaving early for our boat. we did not need frills just a in expensive , clean place to sleep. the room smelled very badly of cigarette smoke and the sheets and beding were badly stained . at least i hope they were stain and not dirty. i am not a picky person i know u get what you pay for but blood and fecal stained sheets should be replaced period. next time ill spend a little more and get fresh sheets.

This motel has nothing that the site says it does. The service was horrible anjd the managers stand outside your room waiting for you to leave 2 hours before check in . No coffee pot , fridge was unplugged, microwave was unplugged and very old .. overall it wasn't worth the money I paid !

breakfast only till 9am and with poor choices. receptionist hardly showed solution approach. ice machine is broken and wasnt fixed.

Close to 405 and 710. Straight shot to LAX.

It was okay for the price.wooden floors,no phone in rooms,inernet connection was not very good, location,adequate accomendations,for the price,no ice machine on premises.good parking,close to everything,great for a traveler like myself who just needs a place to sleep/shower etc.drive way is narrow going in/out.simply but good. not for families and people who like to stay in-doors.over-all I was sattisfied with what I paid for the room.

I thought the room was great for the price. Very quiet area waling distance to a few good restaurants. But on the other hand the manager was very rude. I've never stayed in a hotel or motel were the manager watches the housekeeper clean every room. I asked for extra towels and was treated like i was going to steal them. And when checkout time came the manager banged on the door two different times to get me out the room. I would not tell friends or family to stay their.

I know it was a bargain basement hotel but just because a place is cheap doesn't mean it has ro be dirty. The towels looked like they used them for cleaning rags, they smelled clean, but they were gray and dingy. My BF asked the desk person if he had a different remote for the tv because ours didn't work & the answer was no. Later, he went to ask for another pillow as the ones we had were really flat and not even real pillows, just cotton stuffed in a pillowcase & the man yelled at him & told him"You have bothered me ALL DAY with your questions!"before he shoved a pillow at him.Very rude for no reason.There are lots of other little motels in the area that next time, we'll take our chances going to rather than ever come back to this place! The room looked nothing like the picture. It was dark, tiny,& the bed was a canoe bed. Disappointing all around.
